Yesterday, Meizu launched the Meizu 16X at an event in Beijing with high-end specs. It is made available with 6GB RAM only, but what happened to the touted Meizu 16X 8 GB RAM variant? A Meziu fan asked the same question to the company’s founder, Huang Zhang. He responded by saying that “The supplier has not yet settled.” Well, this makes the picture clear that due to some problems with the components supply, the Meizu 16X 8GB RAM version has not announced.

Meizu has made it available in two different variants – 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB internal storage priced at 2098 Yuan ($306) and 2398 Yuan ($350) respectively. Currently, it is not clear whether Meizu will announce the 8GB RAM variant in the future or not. If we go with the tweet from the Huang Zhang, then it seems that Meizu is trying to solve the supply issues. Well, we have to wait for some official confirmation about its launch before ending up on any result.
