After a slight delay, the OneUI 6.0 Beta for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series is finally here. The Beta program is now live in South Korea and may soon commence in other countries like the United States, India, and Germany anytime. The users can head over to the Samsung Community App to check the announcement thread and participate in the program. The Korean giant took to the Samsung Community to announce the OneUI 6.0 Beta for the smartphone.

The update is out with the firmware versions S908NKSU3ZWIA / S908NOKR3ZWIA / S908NKSU3DWI8 for respective devices. It weighs around 3GB in size. It also bundles the latest September 22023 Security patch. OneUI 6.0 Beta program is live in South Korea for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. In the coming weeks, we expect the program to go live in other countries.

Steps to Install OneUI 6.0 Beta on Galaxy S22

  1. First, the user should open the Samsung Members app.
  2. Now, Sign in with a Samsung account.
  3. You will see a OneUI 6.0 Beta Banner on the App’s Home page.
  4. Upon registration, you will see a new update by heading to Settings > Software Update and then Tap Download and Install.

The device will restart and you will see OneUI 6.0 Beta.

OneUI 6.0 Features

There are several changes and new features that are part of OneUI 6.0 Beta. Apart from the Android 14 features, the users are excited about the new OneUI 6.0 features too.

  • Quick Panel Overhaul – New Button layout, New Quick Settings Layout Improves, Compact Quick Panel, Easily Accessible with a single swipe down gesture.
  • Brightness Control Now appears by default in the compact quick menu.
  • Dynamic Lock Screen has paved the way with the ability to reposition the watch and other elements on the lock screen.
  • A new look for Home Icon labels is introduced for a cleaner and simpler look.
  • A new Default Font gives a modern and elegant look.
  • Better notification management with the new sort-by-time option and better layout.

We expect the update to go global in the coming few days or hours. The Beta Program is now live for Galaxy S23, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A34.
