While the release of the next gen iPhones is still several months away, a new report has revealed some details regarding the upcoming Apple iPhone 16 Pro series. The 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have had some of their build and camera specs tipped. So let’s have a look.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro Build & Camera Specs

Known tipster Digital Chat Station shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). He claimed that the Cupertino based giant will ship the iPhone 16 Pro models with a 1/1.14-inch main camera and a periscope telephoto lens. The latter would likely offer enhanced zoom capabilities over its predecessors and the former implies improved light intake on the primary sensor. This is also in line with our previous report regarding the new Tetraprism 5x zoom lens.

Digital Chat Station shared more details regarding the back, claiming that the rear panel will also feature some changes. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will reportedly feature a glass panel that is built using a G+P solution. This means that the back is a mould of glass and plastic together. The tipster hints that the Chinese brand, Huawei, will also employ a similar technique for their upcoming smartphones.

Based on our recent reports, the design of the iPhone 16 Pro series was revealed in renders, which showcased a new dedicated Capture button. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are also tipped to feature smaller Dynamic Island on the front, upgraded cameras, and slightly taller displays. This is all the information we have at the moment, so stick around for more updates.
