Does the “s” in the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mean small?

Qualcomm‘s recent release of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) positions the chip as a powerful yet budget-conscious option. In comparison to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the “s” version offers a more streamlined feature set. A set of photos released by a Chinese publication reveals the size of the SoC.

It turns out, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 measures smaller than the regular 8 Gen 3. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 measures 8.40×10.66mm, which is a substantial 34.73% area reduction compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s 10.71×12.81mm footprint.

Video shows upcoming no-touch car controls on Huawei smartwatch!

A video shows a user with a circular Huawei smartwatch interacting with a Huawei ecosystem car. As the user gets near, the headlights project a “Kunpeng swimming” animation, and the car unlocks automatically.

This technology is reportedly called ICCE UWB (Ultra Wide Band) no-touch car control and represents a collaboration between Huawei’s smartwatch and the Wenjie M9.

Redmi Pad Pro launch date and design revealed, could it be called Poco Tablet globally?

Redmi Pad Pro will be officially released in China on April 10. Marketing images of the device further reveal that the tablet will arrive in 3 colors, white, black, and violet, along with accessories like a keyboard and stylus.

Huawei has unveiled three new wearable devices: the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration, the Huawei Watch GT 4 in Grass Green, and the Huawei Band 9.

The Space Exploration model is the most interesting of them all, featuring the UWB touchless car control that we mentioned above, a sapphire glass display, a tough exterior of ‘ultra-tough diamond-like titanium’, and a nano-microcrystalline ceramic bezel for durability and a high-end feel.
