Vivo is all set to unveil the Vivo V50 later this month in India. The brand has already confirmed several details about the device through its microsites available on the Vivo India website and Flipkart. The device is confirmed to arrive in three shades: Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey. Ahead of the launch, real-life images of the blue variant have emerged, showcasing its design in detail.

However, the blue variant shown in the live shots does not seem to display the said effect, suggesting that the shimmering effect may only be visible under specific lighting conditions or angles, or it could be a different blue variant for the global market.

The oblong camera module houses dual 50-megapixel cameras, followed by an Aura Light LED ring light. While the image suggests a flat display, it has a micro-curvature with slim bezels on all four sides. The “About Phone” page reveals a few specifications, such as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, 512 GB of internal storage, and Funtouch OS 15, which will be overlaid on Android 15.
As per other reports, the V50 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen offering a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device packs a 6,000mAh battery inside a 7.39mm thin chassis. For selfies, the device is equipped with a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support. Its other key features include an IP68-rated chassis, 90W fast charging, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The V50 is likely to launch on Feb. 18 in India with a sub-Rs 40,000 (~$460) price tag.
