The collection consists of two models with very different designs. The more expensive option is the GM-S5600XG-1, which will sell for ¥36,300 (about $228). It uses the familiar square case that G-Shock is known for, but the glass covering the digital display has a rainbow vapor deposition finish.

According to Casio, this manufacturing process means the color gradient on every watch will be slightly different. The colors also shift depending on the angle of your wrist. To balance out the iridescent screen, the rest of the watch is made of standard black resin and stainless steel.

The second watch is the GMA-S110XG-4A, priced at ¥25,300 (roughly $158). This one is an analog-digital hybrid with a bulkier case. The pink resin band and bezel are made using a color molding technique that mixes different resins together during production. This creates a marbled pattern that, similar to the rainbow glass on the other model, is unique to each individual watch. It also includes a polarized dial that changes color in the light.

Casio is marking the 30th anniversary of its premium MR-G line with a new flagship diver, the G-Shock Frogman MRG-BF1000EB-1A. Scheduled for release in June 2026, it is one of the most expensive G-Shock models the company has produced, carrying a retail price of ¥1,210,000 ($7,590) in Japan. Production is capped at 800 numbered units worldwide.

Design Details

The MRG-BF1000EB-1AJR relies heavily on specialized materials and manufacturing processes rather than standard mass production. The bezel is constructed from Cobarion, a cobalt-chrome alloy that is roughly four times harder than pure titanium. Instead of standard machine milling, the bezel’s facets are cut by hand by Japanese gemstone artisan Kazuhito Komatsu.

The metal is then treated with a blue arc ion plating (AIP) to give it a reflective finish. According to Casio, this aesthetic is meant to mimic a brinicle, an underwater ice formation found in polar regions. Additionally, the two front screws on the asymmetrical case are set with lab-grown, 57-facet brilliant-cut blue sapphires.

Underneath the exterior treatments, the watch maintains the hardware specifications expected from the Frogman line. The core case, case back, crown, and buttons are machined from Ti64 titanium alloy and treated with a titanium carbide (TiC) coating for abrasion resistance.

It features an ISO 200-meter water resistance rating, supported by Casio’s Clad Guard Structure, which integrates fluoro rubber buffers into the crown and pushers to protect the internal module from impacts. The screw-lock case back incorporates a blue vapor-deposited sapphire crystal and an engraving of the standard Frogman character.

On the technology side, the MRG-BF1000EB-1AJR is fully analog but uses three independent dual-coil motors to drive the hands. In dive mode, the hour and minute hands overlap to function as a single indicator for elapsed dive time.

The watch is powered by Casio’s Tough Solar charging system and keeps time via Multi-Band 6 radio control and Bluetooth. When paired with the Casio Watches smartphone app, users can automatically adjust the time, log dive data, and set tide graphs for approximately 3,300 global locations.

The package includes two interchangeable bands: a white Dura Soft fluoro rubber strap for diving use, and a deep-hardened pure titanium bracelet. The lugs feature a quick-release button mechanism for swapping between the two. The entire 800-piece run ships in a custom box co-developed with Japanese luggage manufacturer Proteca.

Casio’s premium G-Shock MTG-B4000B-1A has started appearing in the U.S. through retailer Arizona Fine Time. The watch is the latest model in the MTG-B4000 series, which also consists of the MTG-B4000B-1A2JF and the MTG-B4000-1AJF.

The watch is listed at $1,500 and appears to be shipping immediately. That puts it at the same U.S. retail price as the older MTG-B4000B-1A2. In Japan, the related MTG-B4000B-1AJF launched on May 15, 2026, priced at ¥176,000, or about $1,110.

The MTG-B4000B-1A is part of Casio’s MT-G line, which combines resin and metal construction. This model uses a carbon laminated frame with stainless steel, along with a Dual Core Guard structure. Casio says the design was refined through simulation and human review to balance strength, shape, and wearability.

The case uses carbon fiber reinforced resin and stainless steel, while the bezel has a two-part inner and outer structure. The stainless-steel bezel gets black ion plating with both hairline and mirror finishes. The case back is made from stainless steel using Metal Injection Molding. The watch also has Triple G Resist protection, covering shock, centrifugal force, and vibration resistance.

The black dial carries red accents and microfabrication details from Casio’s Yamagata factory. It is protected by a sapphire crystal and paired with a black soft urethane band. Other hardware details include a screw-lock crown, Neobrite luminous treatment, a high-brightness LED light, and 200-meter water resistance.

For timekeeping, the quartz watch supports Multi Band 6 radio-controlled adjustment and Bluetooth syncing through the Casio Watches app. App features include automatic time correction, phone finder, watch status display, self-check, Time & Place logging, and world time for around 300 cities. Like most G-Shocks, the MTG-B4000B also uses Tough Solar charging, and can last for around five months without seeing the sun, or up to 18 months in power-saving mode.

Casio has introduced a new kind of wearable audio device called the earU ER-100 under its newly announced earU brand. Casio earU ER-100 specifications and features

The earU ER-100 features a cuff-style open-ear design that sits around the ear without blocking the ear canal. Casio says this approach reduces discomfort such as pressure, heat, and irritation that are commonly associated with conventional in-ear hearing devices. Each earbud weighs around 8 grams without accessories, making it suitable for longer usage sessions.

Casio has also focused heavily on natural sound reproduction. The company says the earbuds combine surrounding environmental audio with digitally corrected sound to make voices easier to hear while maintaining a better sense of direction and distance. The earbuds are also designed to reduce sound leakage and suppress unwanted resonance that can lead to feedback noise.

Users can adjust sound settings through a dedicated smartphone app. The app can automatically tune audio levels after analyzing hearing conditions and also allows switching between listening profiles designed for places such as offices, restaurants, outdoor areas, and meeting rooms.

Apart from hearing assistance, the ER-100 can also work as regular wireless earbuds for music playback and calls. The device supports Bluetooth 5.4 along with SBC, AAC, and aptX codecs. It features a 10mm dynamic driver and IPX4 splash resistance for the earbuds.

The battery is rated to deliver over 9.5 hours of continuous use in listening mode and more than 14 hours in streaming mode. Casio also says a 10-minute charge can provide around 90 minutes of listening time.

Casio has confirmed that the earU ER-100 will go on sale in Japan for 49,940 JPY ($315), starting May 28 under the company’s new earU brand. The available colors include ER-100PT-NB Navy Black, ER-100PT-WY Ivory White, and ER-100SH-WY Ivory White, with different style accessories bundled depending on the variant.

At the moment, the ER-100 appears to be limited to the Japanese market. Therefore, it not clear whether it will be released in other markets.

The CRW001JB-9 takes the standard digital watch module Casio is known for and shrinks it down to fit on a finger. It costs $200 and will be available for pre-order starting May 28th, 2026, with a general release following on June 4th.

Design Details

To be clear, this isn’t a smart ring like the Oura or the Samsung Galaxy Ring. There are no health sensors, step trackers, Bluetooth connectivity, or companion apps. It is simply a very small, fully functional digital watch.

The design is specific to the J Balvin collaboration. The stainless steel case has a gold ion-plated finish and features a textured brick pattern around the small digital display. There are small rhinestones set into the top and bottom bezels, and the back of the case is engraved with Balvin’s signature flower logo. It also ships in custom packaging that matches the gold brick texture of the hardware.

From a technical perspective, the ring measures 25.2 by 19.5 by 6.2 millimeters and weighs 16 grams. Despite the small footprint, Casio managed to retain standard digital watch functionality. The module includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, dual time, an auto-calendar, and a white LED backlight. It runs on a standard SR621SW watch battery, which Casio estimates will last for about two years before needing a replacement.

The ring is manufactured at a single fixed size: a US 10.5 (which has an inner diameter of 20mm). To fit smaller fingers, Casio includes two physical spacers in the box that reduce the inner diameter to 19mm or 18mm. If your preferred finger doesn’t fit one of those three exact measurements, you won’t be able to wear it comfortably.

Design Details

The main draw of this specific model is the design of the case. Casio has tweaked the construction of the 5000 series here, connecting the bezel and the center case at the top and bottom to leave the middle section exposed. That exposed center case is treated with a gradient rainbow ion-plated finish. Because of how the plating process works, the color distribution is slightly different on every unit. It also features gold-colored screws and a glass face treated with a matching rainbow vapor deposition.

Underneath the metal, it still relies on a resin bumper system to absorb impacts. Interestingly, Casio says that it used AI to help design the watch’s structure, feeding decades of drop-test data into a model to optimize the 3D shapes of the interlocking metal components.

Beyond the metal casing, the most practical upgrade is the display. Instead of the traditional LCD found on standard G-Shocks, the GMW-BZ5000RC-1 uses a Memory in Pixel (MIP) screen. MIP displays are noticeably easier to read in direct sunlight and offer much higher contrast. Because it’s a higher-resolution panel, Casio included a feature in its companion mobile app that lets you switch the display font. You can use a standard modern digital font, or swap it to a Classic mode that digitally recreates the blocky, 7-segment look.

The rest of the spec sheet is standard for Casio’s higher-end digital watches. It includes Bluetooth for automatic time syncing with your phone, Multiband 6 radio control as a fallback for time calibration, and solar charging. With the power-saving mode turned on, the watch can theoretically last up to 22 months in complete darkness. It also maintains the standard 200 meters of water resistance.

For those who just want a traditional watch without app connectivity, there are three other options. The $110 GD-010BEG-1 is the only fully digital watch in the group. It also uses bio-based resin and runs on a standard CR2025 battery that Casio estimates will last about 10 years.

The remaining two models are analog-digital hybrids made from standard resin. The GA-100BEG-1A costs $120 and includes a magnetic-resistant case along with a speed indicator dial, running on a two-year battery. The GA-700BEG-1A is priced at $110, features a five-year battery, and has a large front-facing button to activate the LED backlight.

As expected from the G-Shock line, all five watches share a baseline set of features. They are shock-resistant, water-resistant up to 200 meters, and include basic functions like stopwatches, countdown timers, world time, and daily alarms.

Both watches share a similar set of everyday features. They include world time tracking (31 time zones on the GM2100, 29 on the BA110), a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timers, and five daily alarms. The GM2100 uses a double white LED for illumination, while the BA110 uses an amber LED.

Casio is also including a custom watch stand with both models. The stand is designed to look like a Bounty Hunter ID card. It ships flat, but it has built-in magnets that allow you to fold it into a rigid 3D stand to hold the watch on a desk or shelf when you aren’t wearing it.

Design Details

The design of this specific model is heavily inspired by earth science and geology. Casio went with red and orange accents on the dial to mimic the look of magma, while the metal components feature a gold-tone finish. The resin band is also molded to look like different layers of rock strata.

Casio is continuing to use biomass plastics for the main resin parts of the case, bezel, and band. It’s a practical step toward using renewable materials, and it doesn’t seem to compromise the standard shock, dust, mud, and 20-bar water resistance that the Mudmaster series is known for.

Under the hood, the GWG-B1000MG-1A9 isn’t a full smartwatch, but it does have a good amount of connectivity. It features Casio’s Triple Sensor, meaning you get a built-in compass, an altimeter/barometer, and a thermometer. It’s also solar-powered.

Casio says a full charge will get you about six months of normal use without any light exposure, or up to two years if it drops into power-saving mode. For timekeeping, it relies on Multi-Band 6 radio control, which automatically syncs the time if you are in range of towers in Japan, North America, Europe, or China.

You can also pair the watch to your phone via Bluetooth using the Casio Watches app. This handles basic tasks like automatic time correction and adjusting settings, but it also includes a location indicator.

If you set a destination in the app, the physical hands on the watch will point toward it, a helpful feature if you’re hiking and don’t want to keep pulling out your phone. Casio does note that this specific location feature isn’t available in China, however.

Rounding out the spec sheet, the watch has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a double LED light system so you can read the analog-digital display in the dark.

The dial layout remains consistent across all versions, with two analog hands and a slim digital display positioned at six o’clock. The wide dial uses slim indexes and a clean layout to maintain readability.

The AQ-240E runs on Casio’s Module 5154. The GMC-B2100 features a stainless steel case and bezel, shaped using a multi-step process that includes forging, cutting, and polishing. The top surface of the bezel uses a circumferential hairline finish, while the bevels are mirror-polished. A silver metallic vapor-deposited dial is paired with black sub-dials, giving the watch a monochrome, high-contrast look suited for both daily wear and active use. The metal band also carries over the dimple design seen in earlier resin models and uses a one-push tri-fold clasp.

Despite its full-metal construction, the watch maintains G-Shock’s shock-resistant structure. Casio integrates a fine resin cushioning layer between the bezel and case to absorb impacts. The watch measures 51.3 × 46.3 × 12.4 mm and weighs 171 grams. It also offers 20 ATM water resistance.

The GMC-B2100 includes a wide set of functions. It supports world time with a dual time display and the ability to swap home and local time. There is a stopwatch with 1-second precision and split timing, a 24-hour countdown timer, and a daily alarm. A fully automatic calendar and date-day display are also included. Visibility is supported by a white LED backlight with afterglow and Neobrite coating.

Bluetooth connectivity enables pairing with the CASIO WATCHES app. This allows automatic time correction, easy clock setting, world time access for around 300 cities, and a phone finder feature. The watch uses Casio’s Tough Solar system, offering up to five months of operation on a full charge, or up to 18 months in power-saving mode. When not connected, accuracy is rated at ±15 seconds per month. Manufacturing takes place at Yamagata Casio, the original birthplace of G-Shock production.

The GMC-B2100 is scheduled for release in April 2026, with a retail price of ¥107,800 ($675). Pre-orders are now open in Japan.

Casio Pro Trek PRW-B1000B-2 has been announced in Japan and is set to launch in April 2026. The model takes design cues from Yosemite National Park and is built for outdoor use with a focus on durability, navigation, and safety.

The watch is part of the Pro Trek PRW-B1000 Climber Line. It runs on Tough Solar power, which converts sunlight and indoor light into energy for stable operation. It supports Multi Band 6 radio signals and Bluetooth connectivity for automatic time correction, so it always shows the correct time.

It comes with a triple sensor system that measures direction, barometric pressure, altitude, and temperature. The digital compass uses the second hand to indicate north. A location indicator helps with navigation. The small hand at 3 o’clock points toward a saved location, and the LCD shows the distance from the current position. Users can record a location directly from the watch, which helps when returning during a hike or locating a parked vehicle. It is also water resistant up to 100 m and can operate in low temperatures down to -10°C.

When paired with a smartphone app, the watch can automatically correct altitude data, record routes, and show directions to a destination. It also supports route log tracking for activity records.

The design reflects Yosemite’s rocky terrain. The stainless steel bezel has a sharp, multi-sided structure with slits at the corners that represent cracks in rock surfaces. The dial has a layered design for added depth. Large hands and three-dimensional indices improve readability. The small hand at 9 o’clock is shaped like a climbing piton, referencing climbing gear from the 1970s. Large metal buttons and a crown make it easier to operate the watch while wearing gloves.

The case uses flame-retardant biomass plastic and meets UL94 V-0 certification. This means it will stop burning when the flame source is removed and helps reduce fire spread. The band is made from CORDURA re/cor material, which is lightweight, durable, and made from recycled waste. It is also flame-resistant, reducing the risk of damage from sparks during camping or cooking.

The watch is priced at ¥89,100, which is about $561. It is also listed on Casio’s global website, which suggests a wider international release could follow.

The EQB-1300 focuses heavily on dial design. It uses layered textures and bold color finishes to create a sporty look inspired by automotive design. The surface features a geometric layout made up of parallel line patterns, while satin-finished side elements give the impression of metal panels. The outer chapter ring is slightly raised, creating a floating effect with visible shadows. Hour markers are shaped with clean polygonal edges, reinforcing the premium positioning of the model.

The bezel also stands out. Its top surface varies in width across different sections, adding visual depth and breaking away from a uniform circular design.

While official dimensions are not confirmed, the watch is expected to be more compact than models like the ECB-2300 and ECB-2200. This would mark a shift toward a slimmer profile for the EQB series, which has not seen a major update since the EQB-2000 launched nearly four years ago.

The watch runs on module 5758, bringing Bluetooth connectivity and solar charging. It supports automatic time syncing via smartphone, daylight saving adjustments, and easy configuration through an app. A low battery indicator is included, where the second hand moves in two-second steps.

Functionality is straightforward. There is a 30-minute stopwatch displayed through a subdial at the 8 o’clock position, which also shows the day of the week. A date window sits opposite it, while a separate indicator displays 24-hour time. There is no timer or alarm.

Water resistance is rated at 100 meters. As per Casioblog, the pricing is expected to stay under $300, though the green IP-coated variant may cost slightly more.

All three watches share a stainless steel case that measures 47.9 mm in diameter. The dial uses a standard analog layout with hour, minute, and second hands, and is rated for accuracy within ±20 seconds per month. Additional features include a date display, a 24-hour indicator, and dedicated sub-dials for tracking stopwatch minutes and seconds.

The design follows the Edifice range’s motorsport-inspired approach. Each model is equipped with a domed crystal and a slim metal bezel. On the right side of the case, three pushers are used to operate the chronograph. The watches also offer water resistance up to 10 bar, making them suitable for everyday wear and light water use.

Power is supplied by an SR920SW battery, which is expected to last around two years. The overall focus remains on traditional timekeeping with basic chronograph functions, rather than connected or smart features. Casio has not confirmed any plans for availability outside Europe, including a release in the United States.

In terms of variants, the EFR-575C-8A comes with a gray gradient dial and a silver-tone case and strap. The EFR-575D-4A uses a purple-to-black gradient dial with the same metal finish. The EFR-575CL-5A looks a bit more premium, with a brown gradient dial, a gold-tone case, and a brown leather strap. Pricing starts at €129 for the EFR-575C-8A and EFR-575D-4A, while the EFR-575CL-5A is priced at €149 in markets like the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany.
