A leak from last month claimed that Huawei could launch the P70 series on April 2nd, but there’s been no confirmation from Huawei yet. It seems like that leak might have been false.

Edifier has announced their latest HECATE G2 Pro eSports headset in the Chinese market, boasting Hi-Res certification and RGB lighting effects. The headset is currently priced at 279 yuan (around $39) as a launch promotion, with a regular price of 299 yuan (around $41).

The South Korean brand previously unveiled the 32GS95UE OLED Gaming Monitor as one of its flagship models back in March 2024, while the UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE monitor was launched back in February 2024. Both of these models were announced in the US and Canadian markets. Now, the company has released these two monitors along with three others in its home market. To recall, the 32GS95UE is the world’s first monitor certified by CESA for ‘dual mode’. This basically means that it can switch between an ultra high 480Hz refresh rate at Full HD resolution and Ultra High Definition mode with 4K resolution at 240Hz refresh rate.

It is also the first model to adopt LG’s Pixel Sound Technology by projecting sound directly from the display through vibrating film components built into the monitor. Other notable features include a tall 32-inch screen, 0.03ms response time, anti-glare, and low-reflection. LG has kicked off sale for the curved OLED gaming monitors as well, which are the 34/39GS95QE models. These offer WQHD resolution with an 800R curvature and 21:9 aspect ratio. The Chinese tech giant revealed earlier today (1st April 2024) that it will “open a new era” with these new announcements on April 9. Realme launched the realme 12 Pro series back in January this year with a design inspired by luxury watches. Today, on April 1st, the company has launched its “AIGC Elimination” feature for the series, which will be rolled out through OTA updates gradually.

To use this feature, you just need to go to “AIGC Elimination” inside the editing option and circle the object that you want to remove from an image. The AI powered system will automatically recognize and remove the object. Realme says that this AI feature has already started rolling out in the US and Japan.
The full form of AIGC is Artificial Intelligence Generative Content, which means this functionality utilizes an image model to power the feature. However, the company has not mentioned any further details about it such as whether this feature runs on the device or uses an online server.
The difference is that the phone will need to be connected to the internet in order to use the feature if the image model runs on the server side. Notably, the Realme GT5 Pro already has this AIGC feature.
The realme 12 Pro series comes in two different models – the realme 12 Pro and the realme 12 Pro Plus. Both of the models come with a 6.7-inch 1080p panel, a 50 MP triple rear camera setup, curved front and back design, and IP65 dust and water resistance. While the realme 12 Pro offers a 32 MP 2x telephoto, the 12 Pro Plus boasts a 64 MP telephoto with a longer 3x optical zoom.
