Xiaomi has launched a new portable dental water flosser, the Mijia F400, boasting innovative Cloud Sensation Umbrella Jet Water Flossing Technology for a more comfortable and thorough cleaning experience.

The Mijia F400 features a precise central water column to clean teeth gaps and a surrounding circular water curtain to clean the gum triangle area, increasing the cleaning area by 7 times. Xiaomi claims this technology provides a cloud-like flossing sensation with 40% increased softness.

The water flosser provides 1700 pulses per minute which removes 99% of dental plaque while minimizing gum irritation. It offers four flossing modes: Gentle, Standard, Strong, and Massage. The Gentle mode is suitable for beginners, while the Standard mode is for daily cleaning. The Strong mode tackles stubborn residue, and the Massage mode is ideal for sensitive gums.

The F400 comes with three nozzles: Cloud Sensation multi-effect, Standard, and Orthodontic. The Cloud Sensation nozzle is designed for gentle cleaning, the Standard nozzle is for deep cleaning, and the Orthodontic nozzle is suitable for users with braces.

Another key feature of the F400 is its long battery life. Xiaomi claims it can last up to 100 days on a single charge. The water tank holds 200ml, which the company says is enough for a single cleaning session.

The flosser is lightweight, portable, and designed for convenience with nozzle storage on the body and a switch key for instant start and stop. It also includes a gravity ball that absorbs water from multiple angles, allowing smooth water ejection and supporting flossing from various angles.

Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi Mijia F400 is available in three colors: Cloud Sensation White, Mint Green, and Coral Pink. It is currently on pre-sale in China for 239 yuan (around $33). Earlier today, the company also launched a new portable electric shaver.

After a long wait, Xiaomi has officially unveiled its first electric car, the SU7, in China. The SU7 boasts three variants – Standard, Pro, and Max – catering to a range of budgets and needs. Prices start at 215,900 yuan (US$29,900) and climb to 299,900 yuan (US$41,500) for the top-of-the-line model. The company has offered two driver-assistance systems for its new car

The design of the SU7 is a collaborative effort by a team led by Xiaomi’s Head of Design, Li Tianyuan, who previously worked for BMW. James Qiu, formerly with Mercedes-Benz, also contributed to the car’s exterior design. Xiaomi has secured the expertise of Chris Bangle, a renowned car designer with experience at BMW, Mini, and Rolls Royce, as a consultant for Xiaomi Auto. Bangle is particularly impressed with the SU7’s power and believes it has potential for the European market.

When it comes to driver-assistance systems, Xiaomi offers two options. The Xiaomi Pilot Pro relies on pure vision technology and utilizes an Nvidia Drive Orin chip with 84 Tops of computing power, similar to Tesla’s approach. The Xiaomi Pilot Max system combines pure vision with lidar technology for enhanced capabilities. Additionally, Xiaomi is launching a city-based pilot assisted driving system called City NOA. Testing for this system begins in April across 10 cities, with a nationwide rollout planned for May. City NOA utilizes two Drive Orin chips. The SU7 boasts impressive connectivity features, supporting both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Let’s read about the details of each variant. The base SU7 Standard starts at 215,900 yuan and comes equipped with a 73.6 kWh BYD Blade battery offering a 700 km (435 mi) CLTC range. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.28 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). This variant features the Xiaomi Pilot Pro ADAS system and utilizes a 400V architecture. Power comes from a rear-wheel drive (RWD) setup with a 220 kW motor generating 400 Nm of torque.

The SU7 Pro steps up the range with a 94.3 kWh CATL battery, pushing the CLTC range to 830 km (516 mi). This variant is priced at 245,900 yuan, placing it around the same price point as the Tesla Model 3 in China. It upgrades to an 800V architecture for faster charging.

The top-of-the-line SU7 Max boasts a 101 kWh CATL Qilin battery, again offering an 800 km (516 mi) CLTC range. However, the Max boasts an impressive 510 km (317 mi) of range achievable in just 15 minutes of charging. Performance gets a significant boost as well, with a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of a mere 2.78 seconds and a top speed of 265 km/h (165 mph). The Max utilizes the Xiaomi Pilot Max ADAS system and features an 800V architecture for faster charging. This powerhouse employs an all-wheel drive (AWD) setup with dual motors producing a combined output of 495 kW (663 hp) and a staggering 838 Nm of torque.

Xiaomi is more than just making a bold statement in the electric vehicle market. The variety of models caters to different needs and budgets, while the advanced driver-assistance systems and impressive performance figures suggest Xiaomi is ready to take on established players in the industry. 5.5G promises significant improvements over 5G, including 10 times faster network capacity, peak downlink rates in the tens of gigabits per second, and millisecond-level latency. This translates to faster downloads, smoother streaming, and more responsive online gaming.

The new technology also aims to improve connection scale, enabling a low-cost trillion-level Internet of Things (IoT) network. Additionally, 5.5G integrates air and space networks, potentially providing wider coverage.

China Mobile says it has played a leading role in developing 5G-A standards and will launch the world’s largest commercial deployment of the network in over 300 cities this year. The company also plans to promote the release of over 20 5G-A compatible phones within the year.

To showcase the new network, China Mobile has established 5G-A demonstration halls in various locations across China. Customers with the OPPO Find X7 Ultra can visit these halls to experience the 5.5G network firsthand.

China Mobile’s Vice President, Gao Tongqing, stated that this launch will further accelerate the development of new information infrastructure and unlock the full potential of 5G technology. Low quality images of the white Xbox Series X was shared by eXputer. The report states that an all-white all-digital Xbox Series X console. In terms of overall design, the white Xbox Series X appears similar to the black variant. However, it is just a different color and without a disc drive. Apart from these two changes, the internals are expected to be almost identical in terms of specs, but this variant may ship with an upgraded heatsink for better thermals. During the Microsoft vs FTC court hearing, leaked documents had also hinted at an Xbox with a new color and with the disc drive removed.

Microsoft’s all-digital white Xbox Series X will most likely be cheaper than the regular Xbox Series X model since it saves production costs by removing the disc drive. In other words, it is similar to Sony’s PlayStation 5, which arrives in Digital and Disc editions. As of right now, the Xbox Series X is available for 500 US Dollars in the US. The Xbox Series S and Xbox Series S 1TB Edition are sold for 300 and 350 US Dollars respectively, so we can expect the digital Xbox Series X to possibly be priced around the 450 US Dollar mark.

iPhone SE 4 has been the subject of many leaks recently hinting at significant upgrades for Apple‘s budget-friendly smartphone option. According to leaked information and CAD images, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to adopt the design cues of the iPhone 14.

On the front, it will feature a 6.1-inch LTPS OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. And despite the design overhaul, the device is likely to stick with a single rear camera setup.

However, the major point of contention for Apple centers around the cost of the OLED display panels for the iPhone SE 4. Samsung Display reportedly offered to supply the panels at $30 each. But Apple found this price too high and is now said to have rejected the offer.

Consequently, Samsung has withdrawn from the negotiation process. The Cupertino-based company is reportedly seeking a more budget-friendly option of $25 per panel.

Now with Samsung no longer in the picture, Apple is reportedly turning to Chinese manufacturer BOE to fulfill its display production needs. Apple’s focus on cost-saving for its budget-oriented iPhone SE line is understandable, as displays are among the most expensive smartphone components.

Apart from this, the iPhone SE 4 will reportedly offer Face ID, an improved 48 MP rear camera, and a faster processor. Nonetheless, the shift in display suppliers could potentially impact production schedules or the final retail price of the device.

Apple is rumored to be gearing up for a substantial initial production run of approximately 15 million units when the iPhone SE 4 launches in 2025.

Xiaomi‘s Mijia Air purifier 5S is now listed on JD.com, one of the online retailers in China. This new air purifier from Xiaomi will reportedly go on pre-sale starting April 1, with a price tag of 1599 Yuan (equivalent to US$220).

It offers protection from harmful chemicals and also some diseases

The Mijia Air purifier 5S comes with a formaldehyde sensor to measure changes in formaldehyde concentration in the air. It equips a formaldehyde CADR of 255m³/h capacity. This is claimed to be capable of removing 96.95% formaldehyde in one hour. Notably, formaldehyde is a toxic chemical to our body and can cause airway irritation and some other problems. So it is good to see the formaldehyde removal function.

Additionally, this air purifier removes 98.1% TVOC (Total volatile organic compounds), which are gases that can have some short and long-term health effects and can be found in everyday products, like cleaning and construction materials. The PM10 and pollen (that causes allergies for some people) removal rates are 99.98% & 98% in one hour respectively. A mysterious new Huawei device has recently surfaced on a Chinese certification platform, bearing the model number GFY-AL00. The phone has just received China’s national 3C certification which is a mandatory process before any smartphone can hit the market.

Initial details suggest that this could be a new budget-friendly or mid-range offering from the tech giant.

Although we don’t know the exact model yet, the certification gives away some key information about the smartphone. Firstly, the GFY-AL00 is a 4G-enabled device, so it isn’t a premium offering.

Secondly, the phone comes equipped with support for up to 22.5W wired fast charging. This falls in line with several of Huawei’s current budget-friendly offerings.

The 22.5W charging capability of the new phone aligns with the recently launched Huawei Enjoy 70. The latter also features a massive 6000 mAh battery and a competitive starting price of around $170.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 sports a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display and runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4 operating system. It’s powered by a Kirin 710A processor, again with no 5G support, and comes in 8 GB of RAM, and it comes in 128 GB and 256 GB storage choices.

Realme has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming C-series smartphone. It is set to debut in Vietnam next week. The device is the Realme C65 which has bagged multiple certifications. The official teaser also gives us a look at the smartphone and it looks like the brand is taking a different approach in terms of design. The Realme C65 will arrive as the successor to the Realme C55.

The Realme C65 is set to launch in the Vietnam market on April 4. The company’s VP Chase Xu shared a teaser image of the upcoming smartphone revealing its design. The device is seen with a flat frame. The volume rocker and power buttons are located on the right side with the latter expected to double up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel has a glossy finish.

Realme is introducing a new design on the C65. It has a Galaxy S22-series-like rectangular camera island near the edge of the device. It houses two vertically stacked sensors along with a dummy unit and an LED flash. Another poster shared by Realme’s Vietnam branch on Instagram confirms that the smartphone will arrive in Violet and Galaxy Black colours.

As for the core specifications, the TUV Rheinland certification revealed that the Realme C65 will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 45W fast charging. Meanwhile, as per the Camera FV-5 listing, the device will likely have the same setup as the Realme C67 including a 50MP f/1.8 sensor with EIS. The FCC database of the upcoming offering mentions Android 14 OS out of the box on the C65.

Cooler Master, a leading PC component manufacturer, has launched its first ATX ‘MAX’ case, the TD500 MAX. It offers a thoughtful design that not only makes it a lot easier to build your high-end Gaming PC but also offers high-end equipment the cooling it needs.

Built-in liquid cooling system with 360 x 38mm radiator

The TD500 MAX comes with a steel, plastic and, tempered glass exterior with gunmetal color and a transparent finish on the side. This new product is based on the previously launched TD500 Mesh V2 transparent case. The case is 499 x 210 x 500mm in dimension with a volume of 48 liters.

It offers a built-in water cooling system with a 360 x 38mm radiator on top. You can fit 3 x 120mm fans on the radiator if needed. It is reportedly capable of keeping all high-end CPUs under control. There are 3 x Mobius 120P ARGB fans on the front to supply cool air to the equipment.

For graphics, this case can house up to 380mm long cards and has a fan on the back side to remove the hot air from the case. For power supply, it comes with built in patented ‘2-stage’ cable connectors and pre-routed cables, which enables a cleaner look besides easy setup.

Cooler Master also offers a built in GXII Gold 850W ATX 3.0 PSU with this case. And if you need to upgrade the PSU in future, it will be able to house up to 200mm ones. After all this, the thoughtful design also allows to toss in a hidden screw storage pad over the power supply unit.

Samsung recently released the Galaxy A55 smartphone with the Exynos 1480 processor. However, the company didn’t reveal many details about the processor during the launch. However, Samsung has now revealed a full picture of what this chip is capable of.

Samsung Exynos 1480 Specifications

The Exynos 1480 boasts a hybrid CPU configuration featuring four powerful Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.75 GHz for demanding tasks, alongside four Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0 GHz for better power efficiency.

The star of the show, however, is the Xclipse 530 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA architecture. It improves graphics performance by 53% compared to the previous generation says Samsung.

Jumping on the AI bandwagon, the Exynos 1480 features a built-in AI Engine with a 6K MAC NPU. While seemingly a less powerful version than the flagship Exynos 2400’s AI engine, it makes the Galaxy A55 capable of supporting AI-powered features found in the Galaxy S24 series. However, it depends on whether Samsung will roll out the relevant One UI 6.1 update to the device.

Wireless connectivity is well-covered with the Exynos 1480, supporting Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, sub-6 GHz 5G, mmWave 5G, and cat.18 LTE for fast, versatile connections.

Moreover, the chip can handle displays up to FHD+ at a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate and packs the necessary power to handle a single 200MP sensor (64MP at 30 FPS, 32MP + 32MP at 30 FPS).

The chip can even encode and decode 4K 60 FPS H.264 videos with ease. Memory and storage support extends to LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for snappy performance.

Built on a 4nm manufacturing process, likely Samsung’s own 4LPP+, the Exynos 1480 looks to offer improved power efficiency over previous-generation chips.

Nubia launched the Z60 Ultra (review) smartphone in China last December. A month later, we got the Year of the Dragon Limited Edition variant of the device. Now, the brand has announced the Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition. As the name suggests, it features a design that looks similar to an original retro camera. The newly announced variant packs some additional features but still has the same hardware underneath as the standard model. Read on to know more below.

Nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition announced

Beginning with the differences between the Photography Edition and the standard variant, the former is said to have a dynamic fold-line segmented camera module that resembles the original vintage camera looks. The bottom half of the back panel features a leather-textured back panel with three-dimensional etching.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition comes with Neovision AI imaging that adopts a large AI model and computational photography. This will help in shooting precise and exceptional images. There is also AI-based smart erase to remove any unwanted objects from the picture. The smartphone also features AI two-way real-time interpretation on calls and face-to-face conversations. This is similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra and it aims to make cross-language communication easy and efficient.

The rest of the specifications of the Nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition remain the same as the standard model.
