Despite its debut at CES earlier this year, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 49″ gaming monitor has yet to hit the shelves. However, we recently covered an update from the brand, which confirmed additional details about the monitor. Now, all that remains is for the price and sale date to be disclosed. Fortunately, retailer Digitec Galaxus has preemptively revealed the pricing and an estimated release date for the highly anticipated Odyssey OLED G9.

According to information found on the Austrian website of retailer Digitec Galaxus, Samsung is set to launch the much-anticipated Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor sometime between mid-September and the end of September. Specifically, the retailer mentions that the earliest date for availability is September 14, while the latest date is September 28. Interestingly, despite not being officially released, the monitor is already open for orders through Galaxus.

Furthermore, Galaxus has confirmed that the Odyssey OLED G9 will have a retail price of €2,449, inclusive of taxes. It’s worth noting that this price places it higher than Samsung’s other gaming monitor, the Odyssey Neo G9, which retails at €2,049. The Odyssey Neo G9 is a similar model, but it utilizes Mini-LED backlights instead of a QD-OLED panel, which sets it apart from the upcoming Odyssey OLED G9.

itel is gearing up to launch its next smartphone, the itel S23. A report that surfaced yesterday revealed the key details of the smartphone. Now, its microsite has gone live on Amazon. Here is a look at the details that have emerged from it.

The itel S23’s Amazon page states that it is claimed to be the first smartphone with 16 GB of RAM available at a price of Rs 8,xxx. Here, 16 GB of RAM comprises 8 GB of physical RAM and 8 GB of virtual RAM.

The device will sport a waterdrop notch display. Its bottom edge will have a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The right edge of the device has volume buttons and a power key, which appears to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

There is a round camera module on the back panel of the Itel S23. It houses a 50-megapixel primary camera, an auxiliary snapper, and an LED flash. It will be available in black and white color options. There is no word on the launch date of the device. As far as pricing is concerned, it will be priced between Rs 8,000 and Rs 9,000 in India.

The itel S23 will be a 4G device, and it will run on Android OIS with itel OS 8.6 UI on top. It will also arrive with support for face unlock. The 50-megapixel camera of the S23 is expected to support features like 10x digital zoom, HDR, and super night mode.

At the WWDC 2023, Apple took the wraps off its highly anticipated mixed reality headset, Vision Pro, along with the 15-inch MacBook Air powered by M2 chip.

The Cupertino-based technology giant also showcased the latest operating systems that the company will release later this fall and has confirmed the list of devices that will be left behind.

The company has announced the iOS 17 operating system for Apple iPhones and confirmed that the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X won’t be getting this newer version of the software. The update requires the smartphone to be running the A12 Bionic chipset or later.

The older smartphones that are eligible for the iOS 17 include iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, and iPhone SE (second generation). Similarly, those using the iPhone 5th generation or the first generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro won’t be able to install the new iPadOS 17.

With the newer version of the operating system, Apple is bringing features like Live Voicemail transcripts, the StandBy display mode, and better autocorrect, among others.

Some of the features coming to the iOS 17 include Smart Home Lock Screen which can turn iPhone into a “smart-home display” when not in use. It can show various information, including calendar appointments, weather data, notifications, and more. There’s also Contact Posters that allow users to customize how they’re represented on other people’s phones.

It is also bringing Live Voicemail to transcribe voicemails in real-time. For safety, there’s Check-In, a feature that will let users automatically notify family and friends when they have made it home safely. iOS 17 also introduces a new Journal app for sourcing memories using people, places, activities, music, and photos that users can add to daily journal entries.

Nothing Phone (2) is expected to launch in July in India and some other markets. Yesterday, prominent leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer collaborated with the publication SmartPrix to unveil the initial renders of the Phone (2) prior to its official launch. However, shortly after, Nothing founder and CEO, Carl Pei, posted a tweet containing a single word, “fake,” which supposedly refuted the authenticity of the leaked renders.

The leaked renders showed that the Phone (2)’s design language would be quite similar to the Phone (1) from last year. The Kawasaki Noslisu is the Japanese motorcycle maker’s first foray into the cargo three-wheeler segment. It is a stylish, utility-focused cargo e-bike available in three versions.

The first version of the Kawasaki Noslisu is a three-wheeled pedal-assist bicycle and doesn’t require a rider license. It features a 180W rear hub motor and a convenient front cargo basket. The cargo e-bike’s design allows for pedal-assisted riding and up to 30 miles of range on a single charge. The first version of the Kawasaki Noslisu comes with a ¥363,000 (~$2,592) price tag. It offers affordable, practical, and efficient cargo-carrying capabilities. Kawasaki says the e-bike offers the same benefits as a small car during daily commutes.

The second version of the new e-bikes is the Noslisu E. It comes with more power and requires a license to operate. It has a 500W rear hub motor with enhanced pedal assistance. It retains a 30-mile range on a single charge as the standard version. The Noslisu E cargo e-bike is priced in Japan at ¥431,100 (~$3,078). The third model is the Noslisu Cargo is specifically designed as a utility e-bike. It is powered by a 180W rear hub motor and does not require a license to use it.

The Noslisu Cargo has a spacious cargo bay between the front axle and handlebars. It is well-suited for professionals who require a bigger cargo-carrying capacity. The Noslisu Cargo is priced at ¥414,700 (~$2,961). Kawasaki has not stated the payload capacity of the new Noslisu cargo e-bikes. The availability of the models in other markets is unclear at this time.

ASUS has unveiled the ROG Magic 14 2023 gaming laptop in China. The new-generation ROG Magic gaming notebook is equipped with the Ryzen 9 7940HS processor. The gaming notebook features the AniMe Matrix light display matrix screen for easy animations.

The ASUS ROG Magic 14 has a 14-inch ROG Nebula screen with a 91% screen-to-body ratio. The aspect ratio of the new ROG Magic gaming notebook is 16:10 and it supports up to 165Hz refresh rate on the 2.5K display. The laptop has a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The notebook also features Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for excellent audio and visuals. The ROG Magic 14 2023 can be opened 180º, thus enhancing its versatility.

The Ryzen 9 processor of the ROG Magic 14 has 8 cores and 16 threads. It has a turbo frequency of up to 5.2GHz, while its integrated Radeon 780M core display is based on the RDNA 3 architecture. The ROG Magic 14 2023 has a 125W NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card with 8GB of video memory + 16GB of DDR5 memory.

The notebook also has 1TB of SSD storage and is equipped with the Glacier Cooling 2.0 Enhanced Edition cooling system. It also has dual fans and a large area soaking plate. The notebook has HDMI 2.1, USB-A, USB-C, USB4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

During the WWDC keynote today, Apple unveiled the 15-inch version of the popular MacBook Air. It is claimed to be the world’s thinnest laptop of its size and joins the current 13-inch Air. The new MacBook comes powered by the M2 processor and boasts a new Retina display that can reach a brightness of 500 nits and display a billion colors.

Meet “the world’s best 15-inch laptop”

The new Macbook Air model has a thickness of 11.5mm, which apparently makes it the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop, at least that’s what Apple says. The device will be around 1.496kgs, meaning it’s also one of the lightest notebooks out there. In fact, Apple states the new machine is half a pound lighter than “a best-selling 15-inch Intel Core i7 PC laptop”. The Cupertino company also claims the new Air to be up to 12 times faster than the fastest Intel MacBook Air models and deliver up to 18 hours of battery life.

The 15-inch MacBook Air is powered by an M2 chip, the same processor that powers the 13-inch model. It comes with an 8-core CPU, featuring 4 performance and 4 efficient cores, a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. The laptop gets 8GB of unified memory that can be configured with up to 24GB.

The M2 chip in the 15-inch MacBook Air will help it provide up to 18 hours of battery life. The laptop also features two USB-C Thunderbolt ports, a MagSafe charging port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting all of your devices. In addition, the device gets three microphones and six speakers.

Apple will offer the new Macbook in midnight, starlight, space gray, and silver color options. The 15-inch Air is available for order today starting at $1,299 ($1,199 for education), with shipments set to begin next week.

LG has released the CineBeam PU700R 4K UHD projector in the US. The LG CineBeam PU700R 4K comes with a compact design and a 1.2 throw ratio. It can produce images up to 120 inches wide and has a 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness. The LG CineBeam PU700R 4K was showcased during CES 2023 earlier this year. It was subsequently launched in Korea and the EU.

The LG CineBeam PU700R projector is similar in design to the Samsung The Freestyle. It is a round device on a rotating stand that allows for various angle configurations for the beam up to 90 degrees. It has an RGB LED light source with a life cycle of about 30,000 hours. The new LG CineBeam projector supports HDR10, HDR, and HLG outputs. You can also use the keystone correction tool to get the perfect image output. The projector can also provide mood lighting when not in use with up to seven colors available.

The new LG compact projector runs on Smart webOS and provides several streaming apps like Apple TV, YouTube, and Disney+. You can use Apple AirPlay 2 or Screen Share to wirelessly screen content from your mobile device. The projector is also compatible with Apple Home and features built-in 5W mono speakers.

You can also connect external speakers to the projector via Bluetooth. The LG CineBeam PU700R projector has HDMI 2.1 ARC, USB-A, and USB-C ports for wired connections.

The LG CineBeam PU700R 4K projector weighs 3.1kg and has dimensions of 6.4 x 12.0 x 5.7 inches. The projector is priced at $1,699 and LG is offering a free LG XBOOM 360 Bluetooth speaker worth $300 for purchases before June 11.

UGREEN is an electronics manufacturer hailing from China. Although it isn’t a brand you would hear of very often, it has launched some notable products in the past, including chargers, power banks, and large power stations. UGREEN has now launched its new pair of earbuds in China called the HiTune T6. The hearables bring noise cancellation, LDAC high-definition codec, and up to 30 hours of battery life.

UGREEN T6 brings impressive specs for the price

The UGREEN T6 earbuds feature a stemmed design and come with a small oval charging case that should easily fit in your pockets. The earbuds adopt a six-microphone noise reduction system, which can reach a noise reduction level of 48 dB. Users can choose from three different noise reduction levels, depending on their preference.

In addition, the TWS uses a 10mm speaker unit, which is said to be “Hi-Res Gold Standard Certified.” It supports a maximum bit rate of 990kbps, a sampling rate of 96KHz/24bit, and Bluetooth 5.3 connections.

Further, the oval charging packs a 400mAh battery unit that should offer 30 hours of playtime. The earbuds come with IPX5 waterproof and AI noise-cancellation for incoming calls. You can connect the earbuds simultaneously with devices and adjust the sound and controls through the exclusive app. The hearables are said to get timely firmware updates and support game mode.

The UGREEN T6 earbuds are currently available for purchase in China for 279 Yuan, which is roughly $39. Unfortunately, these wireless earphones are not expected to be released outside of China, at least not anytime soon. The Urban Nexus M smartwatch has been unveiled in India. The Nexus M has a 2-inch HD screen and supports Bluetooth calling. The URBAN Nexus M has a square dial design and silicon straps of different color options. The Nexus M is coming on the heels of the earlier launch of the Urban Pro M. The smartwatch is available in black, pink, blue, and green color options.

The Urban Nexus M HD screen has a very bright display and features more than 150 cloud-based watch faces to choose from. The smartwatch has an advanced noise-isolating microphone and speaker and AI voice assistant. It allows the user to seamlessly make or receive calls without breaking any sweat. The Nexus M HD features the Urban Health Suite for all-round health monitoring. The smartwatch tracks the heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen (SpO2) levels accurately.

There are more than 120 sports modes to suit your exercise choices. The Nexus M also features smart notifications, weather updates, and a few in-built games. The Urban Nexus M is offered in India at an introductory price of Rs. 1,599 (~$19). The Urban Nexus M will go on sale on June 9 and will be available from Amazon India. Urban has not stated how long the introductory offer will last and the original price of the smartwatch. Global availability and pricing details are also lacking for the smartwatch at this time.

Xiaomi may release the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra with a peak power of 940W into the Italian market soon. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is powered by a 500W electric motor and has a top speed of 25km/h. It is a folding e-scooter that has a range of 70km on a single charge. The 4 Ultra e-scooter was launched earlier this year in France, Spain, and a few other countries.

Xiaomi originally showcased the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra during MWC 2023. The new powerful Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra will launch first in Italy reportedly as indicated by a Declaration of Conformity document. The document was filed by Xiaomi’s e-scooter brand Navee and the model numbers were DDHBC01ZM and DDHBC02ZM.

Four riding modes are on offer on the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra. This allows the bike to tackle different terrains including climbing up to 25% inclines. The scooter has a built-in 561.5Wh battery which delivers the stated assistance range of about 70km. The scooter is equipped with a dual suspension system and E-ABS brakes that ensure a pleasant ride. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra has an easily foldable frame and ride information can be viewed on the companion app.

The current European price of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is €999 (~$1,071). There are in-page coupons that chalk up to €15 (~$16) off the price of the scooter. There are no specifics yet on when the new Xiaomi e-scooter will arrive in Italy. It is however expected to be very soon and its pricing will be the same as in France and Spain. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 and Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite have already berthed in Italy. The Scooter 4 Ultra could also roll out in other countries in Europe and the UK.

Airships Poised for Comeback, Thanks to Sergey Brin and LTA Research & Exploration

Google co-founder Sergey Brin is betting on airships. His company, LTA Research & Exploration, is developing a new generation of airships that Brin believes could revolutionize the way we travel and transport goods. Airships have a number of advantages over traditional aircraft. They are more fuel-efficient, they can hover in place, and they can fly in low-altitude winds. This makes them ideal for a variety of applications, such as cargo transportation, disaster relief, and tourism.

LTA’s airships are designed to be large and durable. The company’s first prototype, Pathfinder 1, is 120 meters long and 40 meters wide. It is powered by a dozen propellers and laser sensors. Brin is confident that airships will make a comeback. He has said that he wants to “darken the skies” with airships, and he believes that they could be used to solve a number of problems, such as climate change and traffic congestion.

However, Brin and Weston are confident that their company has the technology and the expertise to make airships a viable option.
