The Xioami 13 Ultra was unveiled back in April in China. The device was also confirmed to launch outside of China. According to Xiaomi‘s official website, some regions will be getting the device as soon as June 8. While a new listing has revealed the French (likely European) launch date as well as the sale date of the device in the country.

Xiaomi’s French website has revealed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be making its debut on June 12. The sale of the device will commence on June 21. Although the brand has not revealed the launch date in other European regions yet, we can expect the announcements to be made soon. That being said, the European pricing of the device was recently leaked along with information on its RAM and storage configuration. In the meantime, let’s look at the specs and features of this smartphone.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra specs

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is an impressive flagship smartphone that offers a remarkable user experience. It boasts a large 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, making it one of the brightest displays available.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, accompanied by a generous 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a spacious 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample storage space.

Fastrack FPods series specifications

The Fastrack FZ100, FX100, and FS100 feature an in-ear design with a stem and silicon ear tips. They are IPX5-rated sweat and water-resistant. Users can perform various tasks by tapping on the stem of the earbuds.

In terms of audio, the Fastrack FZ100 and FX100 are equipped with 13mm deep bass drivers for crisp audio quality. On the other hand, the FS100 has a 10mm driver. All three earphones feature quad microphones along with environmental noise cancellation for clear quality on calls. There is also a 40ms ultra-low latency mode.

The Fastrack FS100 and FX100 are claimed to offer 40 hours of usage whereas the Fz100 is said to deliver 50 hours of battery life with the charging case. There is also support for fast charging. The TWS earphones come with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Sony WF-1000MX5 details leaked

As per the report, the Sony WF-1000MX5 TWS earphones are tipped to debut between June 5 to June 6 which possibly hints at this week. The upcoming TWS earphones from the Japanese brand were spotted on Amazon in comparison with other Sony earbuds.

As per the specification sheet listed on the e-commerce site, the Sony WF-1000MX5 will weigh 39 grams with the case whereas each earbud will be 5.9 grams. This makes the case and earbud 2g and 1.4g lighter respectively compared to their predecessor. The audio device will feature an in-ear design with silicon ear tips. It will also come with touch controls and wearing detection features.

In terms of audio, the Sony WF-1000MX5 will come with noise cancellation and hi-res wireless audio. It will also pack precise voice pickup technology and a multi-point connection.

iQOO is gearing up to launch a new Neo smartphone in India. It is expected to be the Neo 7 Pro. Now ahead of the official announcement, MySmartPrice citing industry sources has revealed the launch date and specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

The report reveals that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will launch in India on June 27th. However, the date is tentative and is subject to change. Post-launch, it is tipped to go on sale in early July although the exact date remains unknown.

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro is expected to be a rebadged version of the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition. The teaser image shared by the Vivo sub-brand’s India CEO reveals that the phone will come in an Orange color variant. It features a rectangular camera module.

Last week, Motorola unveiled the Razr 40 series in China and in the US. The lineup includes two models called Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra.

Today, the Lenovo-owned brand revealed that these two clamshell foldable smartphones will be soon released in India. They will be available through Amazon.in, Motorola.in, Reliance Digital stores, and select retail stores across the country.

Unfortunately, the company hasn’t disclosed the launch date yet. Going by the teasers, the products should go official in the country this month itself.

Currently, the Razr 40 Ultra is only on sale in China. The brand managed to sell over 10,000 units in the first sale.

The Razr 40 Ultra is the only clamshell foldable smartphone on the market with a large 3.6-inch edge-to-edge cover screen. This display offers a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Whereas the main foldable screen measures 6.9 inches and can stay unfolded at varying angles. It comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It draws energy from a 3,800mAh battery and supports 30W wired charging as well as 5W wireless charging.

The Razr 40 retains the main display but sports a much smaller 1.5-inch secondary screen with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. Also, it is powered by a less-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

But on the plus side, this model arrives with a larger 4,200mAh battery and a cheaper price tag.

OnePlus launched its first tablet last month called the OnePlus Pad. The device is excellent on a hardware level, however, the software feels a little rushed as we have discussed in our review of the tablet. The brand has however released updates to fix these issues, with the latest one focusing on improving the stylus experience along with swatting some known bugs.

OnePlus Pad update

The new update is currently being seeded to some French users of the device with firmware version, OPD2203_13.1.0.544(EX01). The brand is yet to make the official announcement on the community forum. However, community members have shared a screenshot of the update. According to the screenshot, the new update weighs 714MB and comes with a bunch of changes to the system along with two added features.

Notable additions include Multi-Screen Connect support, allowing users to connect multiple screens and a convenient feature that enables quick access to the Quick Note panel using the stylus. Furthermore, various enhancements have been made to improve stylus stability, touch control experience, system stability, and gaming performance. Additionally, the update addresses known issues with the Photos app, resolving an existing problem. However, it is currently unknown which problem the patch addresses.

It is unknown when this update will be released for other regions, however, looking at the brand’s track record, users in many regions across the globe can expect the OTA notification to pop up within a week. Samsung recently achieved the no.1 smartphone brand position in India, dethroning Xiaomi. Following this, the brand has now launched a new addition to its F series of smartphones. This mid-range device is officially called Galaxy F54 5G.

The Galaxy F54 5G is very similar to the Galaxy M54 5G, which has already been launched in several markets. As for the specifications, the device packs a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, up to 120Hz high refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The handset is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 SoC offering support for 5G. Users can also extend the storage by using the dedicated microSD card slot given. For biometrics, it uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Coming down to the cameras, the device offers a triple rear camera setup comprising an OIS-assisted 108-megapixel primary wide sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide unit, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, the device houses a 32-megapixel selfie snapper inside the punch hole cutout.

As for the battery, it is backed by a built-in 6000mAh battery with the support of 25W fast wired charging. The device boots up on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 right out of the box. Samsung promises 4 Android updates and 5 years of security updates.

Regarding the pricing and availability, the sole 8GB+256GB variant of the Galaxy F54 5G is priced at INR 27,999 inclusive of bank offers. It can be availed in either Meteor Blue or Stardust Silver color options.

Xiaomi is reportedly set to unveil the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series smartphones in China. Industry reports suggest that these devices, expected to hit the market in November, will be powered by Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which may debut in October this year. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are rumored to feature periscope zoom cameras, alongside the previously announced Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Periscope zoom capabilities offer users enhanced optical zoom capabilities, enabling them to capture distant subjects with precision.

According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s periscope telephoto camera will offer 5x optical zoom with an impressive 115mm focal length. Meanwhile, its sibling, the Xiaomi 14, will have a periscope telephoto camera with 3.9x optical zoom and a shorter 90mm focal length. The leaker did not share any other information on the cameras in the Xiaomi 14 lineup.

The Vivo V27 5G was introduced in March as the world’s first smartphone to utilise the Dimensity 7200 chipset. Recently, Vivo also unveiled the Vivo V29 Lite 5G in the Czech Republic, and there are expectations of the announcement of other models in the V29 series later this month. The Vivo V29 5G has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform (via. Nashville Chatter), suggesting that its official launch might be approaching.

According to the publication, the upcoming Vivo phones with V2250 and V2251 model numbers will arrive with respective marketing names, such as the Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G. The recently announced Vivo V29 Lite 5G has the V2244 model number.

The Geekbench listing of the Vivo V29 5G reveals that it is powered by the Qualcomm chipset, which includes 4 x 1.80Hz CPU cores, 4 x 2.40GHz CPU cores, and Adreno 642L.

These details show that the Vivo V29 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. The listing also reveals that the device will arrive with 8 GB of RAM and Android 13 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the device scored 1000 and 2803 points, respectively.

While Vivo has already confirmed the key specifications of the Vivo V29 Pro 5G, it is yet to reveal anything about the Vivo V29 5G. As it was revealed on the Vivo Philippines website (page removed), the V29 Pro will arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 50-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS on the back.

However, we recently covered an update from the brand, which confirmed additional details about the monitor. Now, all that remains is for the price and sale date to be disclosed. Fortunately, retailer Digitec Galaxus has preemptively revealed the pricing and an estimated release date for the highly anticipated Odyssey OLED G9.

According to information found on the Austrian website of retailer Digitec Galaxus, Samsung is set to launch the much-anticipated Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor sometime between mid-September and the end of September. Specifically, the retailer mentions that the earliest date for availability is September 14, while the latest date is September 28. Interestingly, despite not being officially released, the monitor is already open for orders through Galaxus.

Furthermore, Galaxus has confirmed that the Odyssey OLED G9 will have a retail price of €2,449, inclusive of taxes.
