It has a wide temperature adjustment range of 40-200°C.

In addition to high-temperature air frying, the air fryer has a dual wind speed configuration that can be used to defrost, bake, and roast a variety of dried fruits, vegetables, and meat at low temperatures.

MIJIA Smart Air Fryer 3.5L

The Smart Air Fryer has a robust 1500W internal heating system with 360° hot air circulation heating, ensuring that heat is distributed evenly throughout the food. Additionally, it allows for 24-hour cooking. Users may quickly change the cooking temperature and time with a turn of the dial and the push of a button on the OLED panel located at the front of the fryer.

OnePlus 10T vs OnePlus 10R – Specs Comparison

OnePlus has finally released its flagship for the second half of the year, and it’s none other than the OnePlus 10T. The phone comes with better performance and faster charging than the OnePlus 10 Pro, but an inferior set of cameras, without the Hasselblad branding.

However, today, we’ll compare this newly announced smartphone with another device in the OnePlus lineup, the OnePlus 10R. This upper mid-range device is placed below the OnePlus 10T but shares a number of features with the new model. So, let’s take a closer look at how the 10R compares in front of the OnePlus 10T.

OnePlus 10T vs OnePlus 10R

Design

The OnePlus 10T adopts the same design philosophy as its more expensive sibling, the OnePlus 10 Pro. The phone features a slab design with rounded corners and a camera housing that curves into the left side. In fact, you would have had a hard time distinguishing the two models if not for the placement of the LED flash in the camera housing. The OnePlus Pro features the LED ring flash near the bottom right corner of the housing while the OnePlus 10T shifts it to the top right corner.

As for the OnePlus 10R, the phone features a different design philosophy than its more expensive siblings, coming with a flatter and half-textured back. The design is different from what you see on OnePlus devices, so it stands out. The 10R is also slimmer and lighter than the 10T at 8.2mm (vs 8.8mm) and 182 grams (206g).

Notably, both the OnePlus 10T and the 10R skip the iconic alert slider usually found on OnePlus smartphones. They also do not feature any IP certification.

In the design department, it all boils down to individual preferences. The 10T’s design feels more premium with its curvier profile, but some people may prefer the 10R’s flatter and unique design.

Display

Surprisingly, both the phones have the exact same displays.

The 10T and 10R models come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification. The displays are protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 and have a 120Hz refresh rate.

Since the two phones have the same displays, there’s no point in picking a winner in this department. Your buying decision will be influenced by the other departments in the comparison, especially the next one – performance.

Specs & Software

While smartphone processors, especially in the mid-range segment have evolved significantly over the past few years, smartphones with the fastest performance are still valued in the market. And that’s why the OnePlus 10T has a significant edge in this comparison. It’s one of the fastest smartphones in the market today, all thanks to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor inside with up to 16GB of RAM. Notably, even the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is costlier than the 10T comes with an older processor.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 10R features the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max. The processor is pretty good in the mid-range segment, but will definitely lag behind the 10T in terms of performance and speed.

For gaming and resource-intensive tasks, there is no doubt that the OnePlus 10T would outperform the 10R.

Being two phones from the OnePlus stable, both the models run on Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 and will have a similar software experience.

Camera

Like the display department, the camera setup is also exactly the same in both models.

The two phones feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and finally, a 2MP macro camera. Even the selfie cameras are exactly the same – a 16MP punch hole shooter.

Despite having the exact same camera setups, the OnePlus 10T is likely to have an advantage. With the fastest and the latest Qualcomm processor inside, the image processing is also expected to get an upgrade, meaning the 10T could output slightly better images than the 10R.

However, we’ll have to wait and see a real-life camera comparison between the two models to make the final call.

Battery

Both have similar battery capacities. The OnePlus 10T comes with a slightly larger 4800mAh battery on board with an ultra-fast 150W charging support. On the other hand, the OnePlus 10R (top-end model) features a 4500mAh battery with the same ultra-fast 150W charging technology.

These are the two of the fastest charging smartphones in the world right now, and you won’t go wrong getting either of them.

Price

The OnePlus 10T starts at ₹44,999/$649/£629/€699. On the other hand, the OnePlus 10R is available for a slightly cheaper price tag in India at ₹39,999

The final purchase decision will boil down to two main areas – performance and budget. If you want a smartphone with the best performance on the market, the OnePlus 10T, even at its slightly higher price tag, will be a no-brainer for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a phone that’s cheaper, performs like a mid-ranger, and charges extremely fast, it makes sense to get the 150W version of the OnePlus 10R.

Google Pixel 6a impresses in DxOMark’s display and camera tests

The Google Pixel 6a has gone through the paces of DxOMark’s display and camera tests and it came out strongly. The mid-ranger has started shipping and the test results indicate that the Pixel 6a can deliver a great camera and display quality. When we add the competitive pricing of the Pixel 6a into the mix, its performance becomes more remarkable.Google Pixel 6a

The Google Pixel 6a, according to the DxOMark’s analysis offers a class-leading display with its 1,080 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone’s camera also squares up nicely with the Pixel 6, although slightly lower than the Pixel 6. The overall camera rating for the Pixel 6a was 130 points, placing it in the 21st position on the website. As per its camera system, the Pixel 6a is at par with the iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13, and the iPhone 13 mini. It is noted that the three models have essentially the same camera sensor. In fact, the assessment of the Pixel 6a’s camera shows that they are only less powerful than that of the Pixel 6 within the $400 and $600 price bands.pixel 6a

The Pixel 6a, however, had an underwhelming performance for its front camera, ranking 49th with a score of 86 points. The selfie camera of the Pixel 6a was on the same footing as that of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The display tests revealed a score of 86 for the Pixel 6a. This resulted in a Silver Display award although mention was made of its low 60Hz refresh rate. The OLED display provided a decent color output and solid readability under extreme conditions. However, the Pixel 6a’s display performed poorly in bright sunlight.

The general summary of the tests indicates that the Pixel 6a might be just a whit behind its bigger cousin, the Pixel 6. This is remarkable when the price differential between the two models is thrown into the mix.

AOHi MagCube 30W and 40W PD Fast Charger Review

All Apple phones from iPhone 8 onwards support PD fast charging. But since Apple no longer ships chargers for iPhones, users started to look for reliable alternatives, which has fueled the explosion of this market. The brands that are committed to reliable, compact PD charging devices are in hot demand. AOHi is definitely one of them. As one of the core manufacturers of included chargers for many phone brands (Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, etc), AOHi has built up advanced technology and a good reputation in the industry.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-27

Recently AOHi launched a 30W PD compact charger (MagCube 30W) and another 40W dual-Port PD wall charger. Both are excellent chargers for charging your devices. The former stuffs in a 30W high power charging system into a body almost identical to Apple’s 5W charger, which is pretty insane as the power density reaches at 1.18W /cm³. Notably, the 40W dual-Port charger is also super compact with foldable pins. Both USB Type-C ports support fast charging: With a single port, it supports up to 40W PD output and PPS fast charging as well, while dual ports working at the same time can provide 20W+20W power distribution.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-23

Let’s check out the AOHi Magcube 30W first. It’s roughly the same size (28mm X 28mm X 32mm, 32g) as the Apple 5V1A charger, but the supported charging efficiency is 6x better than the Apple 5W charger. In terms of the compact size, it’s definitely a smart option for travel. It’s a wonderful accessory to carry on the go and you can put it in any pocket, backpack, or suitcase without occupying much space.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-13

The Magcube 30W mini charger has a wide voltage input of 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.8A, which is suitable for global grid types. And it can provide wide range of fixed voltage outputs including 5V3A, 9V2.22A, 9V2.77A and 20V1.5A, supporting up to 30W PD fast charging. As the latest iPhone 13 series and iPad series supports PD fast charging with power up to 27W, it’s obvious that the mini fast charger is specifically designed for iPhone 13 series. Let alone the previous Apple phones. It can charge the iPhone 12 and 13 to over 50% power in 30mins, which is also the fastest charging speed that you can access on these two phones.

The interface panel remains the same stylish pattern design as the brand’s previous chargers, with a single USB-C port and fixed pins on the opposite side. The USB-C port also features a metal ring, which prevents the port not only from loosening due to frequent plug-in/out but also from wearing out.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-12

To give users a more convenient view of the current charging status of their device, the 30W mini charger features a charging indicator on the top of the charger. When fast charging, the indicator slowly flashes yellow to remind users that the phone is currently being fast charged with high power. When the devices enter a normal charging state, the indicator lights up in blue. At the end of the charge or not in the charging state, the indicator lights up in green to indicate that the device is fully charged.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-4

Now let’s focus on another 40W dual-port charger, which is also my favorite companion accessory for travel. The model I have is a bright-yellow one that looks so stylish and energetic. It’s also ultra-compact and lightweight. In a way, it’s even more portable than the 30W mini charger, although the size is a bit larger. Thanks to the foldable pins and the smarter 3D design, it’s perfect for home, office, and travel use. The thickness of only 23mm with foldable pins is almost the best option to carry if you have to charge two devices at the same time.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-9

And it also features stylish and protective metal rings for the dual USB C ports. The supported five fixed voltage gears of 5V3A, 9V3A, 12V3A, 15V2.67A, 20V/2A, and a set of 3.3-11V3A PPS output, which is not only suitable for iPhones and iPads but is also compatible for other mobile devices with fast charging.

When using the single port, the device can access the maximum power of 40W, which has covered the maximum charging power of all available iPhones and iPads. In this scenario, it performs very close to the 30W one. If you like to get two devices charged at the same time, the dual-port charger can automatically detect and optimize the allocated power supply for the connected two devices.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-10

During the charging test for various devices, both of them performed stably and didn’t suffer from overheating issues at all.

Meanwhile, to make sure both of them perform at their best, we also use the AOHi Magline+ cable for Apple devices’ charging but it needs to be purchased separately. This is also one of the best cables ever used for fast charging up an iPhone. The black cable (1.8m/6ft) is braided, and the outside fabric layer protects the inside layer from tearing and fraying as easily. Please note that the AOHi PD chargers only support USB-C port for output, so make sure that you’ve already got one compliant USB-C to lightning cable. Or you could check out the AOHi store for the cable we used here.

AOHI COMPACT CHARGER 30W&40W-25

Both the chargers reviewed here seem to be specially designed for Apple devices, but actually, they are also available for other devices like Android phones and earbuds. The ultra-compact body with stylish design makes them stand out. Now all of the accessories we mentioned are available in AOHi stores.

You can check the link (AOHi Magcube 30W mini & AOHi Magcube PD 40w Dual-Port) here for the latest pricing information, and you can check the link here for more about them.

You also can buy them on Amazon: AoHi Magcube 30W mini / AoHi Magcube PD 40W Dual-Port.

Apple to start iPhone 14 production in India for the first time at launch: Kuo

The launch of the Apple iPhone 14 is just around the corner. But prior to any official announcement, an analyst has revealed that the company will start production of the newest iPhone lineup for the first time ever at launch.

Apple

For those unaware, the Cupertino based giant has began production of its latest iPhones in recent years. However, the region began production of these newly launched iPhones typically around a quarter or more behind its primary production hub, which is China. But now, it appears that the brand is planning on having the Indian production to go hand in hand with the Chinese production for the first time.

The news arrives from known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who claimed that Apple supplier Foxconn will start the production of the 6.1 inch iPhone 14 “simultaneously with China” in the second half of this year. He further added that India’s iPhone shipments will still have a considerable gap with China in the short term, but it is still a milestone in Apple’s efforts to diversify its supply chain outside of China.

Apple

The iPhone maker has been working on expanding its production to regions outside of China, with Vietnam and India being newer and upcoming nations. Notably, the analyst stated that another one of the reasons that Apple is moving its production away from China is due to geopolitical reasons. Additionally, it has identified the Indian market as the next key growth driver and plans to expand its production in the region.

Razer announces the NIU X Razer SQi Edition e-scooter exclusive to China

The electric scooter market is on an upswing move with a raft of new entrants into the scene. Razer has teamed up with NIU to announce the NIU X Razer SQi Edition electric scooter. The model sports a distinct and appealing design and is a culmination of the Razer-NIU collaboration.NIU X Razer SQi Edition e-scooter

The NIU-Razer e-scooter was released on August 2 in China. It is a limited-edition smart e-scooter with a top speed of 25km/h. It weighs about 50kg and is well-suited for daily urban commutes with a range of 65km. The e-scooter looks incredible and could be a strong reason for ditching public transport altogether. Razer and NIU are strong brands and this collaboration could be a win-win situation for both brands. It is expected that the Razer-NIU partnership will blossom further with more niche offerings on the way. Many of the specs of the new e-scooter are still unclear.

The e-scooter is currently only available in China but it has enjoyed an overwhelming demand. According to Razer’s CEO, the new e-scooter sold out within a couple of seconds after its China release. There are no indications at this time whether the availability of the scooter will be scaled up beyond China.

The NIU X Razer SQi Edition retailed in China for 9,999 yuan (~$1,482) and its instant appeal in China could indicate its exquisiteness. Being a limited-edition e-scooter, neither NIU nor Razer have hinted whether more units are expected. Delivery information is also lacking at this time.

Vivo V25 Pro with Dimensity 1300 SoC benchmarked on GeekBench

The Vivo V25 Pro is likely to be released in India on August 17. Ahead of the launch, a GeekBench result sheet for the device has appeared online. Although we couldn’t independently verify the listing on GeekBench’s database, the sheet which looks genuine shows the device will pack a Dimensity 1300 process. The details align with those we saw from the Google Play Console listing for the Vivo V25 Pro (V2158).Vivo V25 Pro

The listing also shows that the V25 Pro will be available in more than one memory configuration. The model that was benchmarked has 12GB of RAM but the earlier listing was of an 8GB RAM model. Additionally, the smartphone will undoubtedly contain the virtual RAM function that has recently gained in popularity. To better understand how virtual RAM has grown, the vivo Y35 will have the same 8GB virtual RAM capacity as the actual RAM). As expected, the phone’s interface will be provided by Android 12.Vivo V25 Pro

The Google Play Console listing equally shows that the vivo V25 Pro will have an FHD+ display resolution of 1,080 x 2,376 pixels. The phone is also confirmed to pack an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Unverified rumors also state that the phone will support 66W rapid charging. Apple iPad 2022 CAD renders reveals design ahead of launch

Back in September 2021, Apple had announced its latest 9th generation of iPad. Now, the company is preparing to release its next gen iPads later this year. But prior to any official announcement, the CAD renders of the iPad 2022 has been spotted, revealing its design.

Apple

The CAD renders were exclusively shared by MySmartPrice. These images offers us a first look at the 10th generation of iPad and its design in its full glory. Previously, we had covered reports regarding the tablet finally switching to the USB Type C standard for charging and data transfer but these CAD renders do not confirm this feature. Looking at these images, we can also tell that the next gen model will be similar to the 9th gen iPads in terms of design, with the front camera on top and Touch ID on the bottom of the display.

Furthermore, the screen panel is also flanked by noticeable bezels on all four sides. On the rear, the renders depict a lone rear camera sensor like its predecessor. However, unlike the 9th gen iPads, the upcoming version will have a small oval shaped camera module, similar in design to the iPhone X series. This houses the single camera as well as an LED flash module. Apart from this, the one notable aspect on the back is the Cupertino based giant’s brand logo.

Apple

On the bottom of the device, we can see the speaker grilles, which are a part of the quad speaker setup, with the other two speakers being housed on the the top. We can see its charging port, but its covered in red, so it is unclear whether it is a Type C port or the Apple Lightning port. Based on what we know so far, the 10th gen iPad will be powered by the A14 chipset that was featured on the iPhone 12 series and could sport a larger 10.5 inch or 10.9 inch Retina display. This is all the information we have at the moment, so stick around for more updates.

Upcoming Smartphones: Galaxy Z Fold 4, OnePlus Ace Pro, Motorola Razr 2022, and more

Originally, there was going to be a single smartphone launch event next week. But now, two of the conferences that got postponed this week may take place next week. Hence, the number of events has increased to three.

The biggest conference of all will be Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event for its next-gen foldable phones. Whereas, the second most important one will be by Motorola, which is again for a foldable handset.

The third and final event will be by OnePlus to debut its latest flagship smartphone in China, which went official internationally a few days back.

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at all the phones that are launching next week.

Upcoming Smartphones Next Week

1. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4

Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled to take place on August 10. It will begin at 9 AM ET (6:30 PM IST). The conference will be live-streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel. Viewers can also opt to experience the event in the metaverse (Samsung 837X).

The South Korean electronics giant is expected to announce five products at this conference. But only two of them will be smartphones: Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

The company’s next-gen foldables are said to arrive with minor changes and a spec bump when compared to their predecessors. Also, Samsung may drop the ‘Z’ branding, and therefore, the devices could be simply called Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4.

These handsets are expected to be accompanied by three accessories. Two of them will be smartwatches dubbed Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Whereas, the third one will be a pair of truly wireless earphones called Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

2. Motorola Razr 2022, Moto Edge X30 Pro, and Moto S30 Pro

Motorola Moto X30 Pro

The Motorola event was originally scheduled for August 2 in China, however, it got postponed indefinitely. The company was supposed to announce three devices, namely Motorola Razr 2022, Moto Edge X30 Pro, and Moto S30 Pro.

The Lenovo-owned brand is yet to announce the new launch date. But as per JD (retailer), the first two phones may go on sale on August 11. This suggests that the event could either take place on or before the supposed sale date.

Talking about the handsets, the Motorola Razr 2022 is the company’s third-gen foldable smartphone. It will compete against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Further, the Moto Edge X30 Pro is the world’s first smartphone with a 200MP main camera. Finally, the Moto S30 Pro is a flagship killer smartphone.

3. OnePlus Ace Pro

The OnePlus Ace Pro was supposed to launch on August 3 in China. But its conference got postponed, just like Motorola’s. Anyway, the device went official in other markets in the form of OnePlus 10T as planned on the same day. It may now release in its home country next week at the earliest.

The only difference between the OnePlus Ace Pro and the OnePlus 10T is the software. The Chinese version of the handset boots ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12. While the global variant runs OxygenOS 12.1, which is basically a clone of ColorOS 12.1.

The main highlights of the phone include Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, up to 16GB RAM, 150W fast wired charging support, and an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera.

Chromebook and tablet shipments declined for fourth consecutive quarter: Canalys

Global Chromebook and tablet shipments declined for a second consecutive quarter in Q2 2022. The shipments fell 14% to 105 million units, according to research firm Canalys. The sharp decline is said be caused by a number of factors, including rising inflation, COVID-related lockdowns in China, and declines in consumer and education spending.

According to a report by Canalys, global Chromebook and tablet shipments have continued to suffer in the second quarter of 2022. The shipment of tablets decreased for the fourth consecutive quarter, this time by 11% year over year, to 34.8 million devices worldwide. The demand for Chromebooks continued to decline for a fourth straight quarter, albeit at a significantly sharper rate, with shipments falling by 57 percent to 5.1 million units in Q2 2022 as the demand from the education sector remained weak.

Global tablet shipment in q2 2022

In the tablet market, Apple retained the lead but suffered a significant decline, falling 15% to 12.1 iPads worldwide. Despite a 13 % annual decline, Samsung ended up in the second spot with 7.0 million units supplied, preserving its market share. With 3.5 million fewer shipments than the previous year, Lenovo came in third place. Amazon managed to ship 3.3 million units and remained in fourth place with a rise of 6%. With 1.7 million tablets supplied and a year-over-year decline of 26%, Huawei finished fifth.

global chromebook shipment q2 2022

The spike in educational demand in key markets a year ago caused the global Chromebook market to falter. Acer became the market leader for Chromebooks in Q2 2022, securing almost 25% of the market despite a fall in shipments of only 28% compared to its main rivals. Following a 56 percent decline in shipments from a year earlier, Lenovo managed to maintain second place. Due to its dependency on the US education sector, HP had the greatest decline of the top suppliers, with a 79 percent decline in shipments. The remaining top five was comprised of Dell and Asus.
