Over the last couple of weeks, we have covered multiple reports regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, which are the company’s latest foldable smartphones. And now, a new leak has revealed the official renders of the new Flip model.
The latest leak arrives from a MySmartPricereport, which shared what appears to be the official renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Looking at the leaked images, we can see that the South Korean tech giant is planning on launching the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in multiple color options, including a Blue, Black, Cream, and Lavender. We can also see that the device features a clamshell display on the front, while the rear houses a smaller external display next to the dual rear camera setup.
We also get a look at the other finer design elements of the upcoming foldable phone as well. This includes a USB Type C port on the bottom, which is flanked by a speaker grille and microphone. Talking about its rumored specs, the handset is expected to sport a 6.7 inch AMOLED primary display that has a FHD+ resolution. On the other hand, the external panel is a 2.1 inch screen, which is larger than the previous generation’s 1.9 inch screen.
The foldable smartphone is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and be powered by a 3,700mAh battery pack that may support 25W fast charging. Other features include a 12 megapixel dual cameras on the rear, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. At the moment, this model will reportedly be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10.
BMW is apparently planning on launching a new premium electric scooter market in India. And now, a new report has revealed that supposed pricing for this upcoming high EV.
According to a 91Mobilesreport, BMW Motorrad, the automobile giant’s motorcycle unit, is gearing up to launch a premium electric scooter in India. The model in question is the BMW CE 04 maxi scooter. The Bavarian company had previously launched the BMW C 400 GT maxi scooter in the country, so this model will be the next electric scooter entry in India. The C 400 GT maxi model had performed well for its 1 lakh INR (roughly 12,511 US Dollars) price tag, so it appears that the brand plans on launching another premium model.
With such a price tag, the company is clearly targeting the wealthy and motor enthusiasts in the country. The robust sales of the previous model likely also gave top executives more confidence in the Indian market. So now, it is rumored that BMW plans on launching the CE 04 premium electric scooter model in India through the CBU route. The report adds that the CE 04 maxi model will be imported through the CBU import and could cost somewhere between 15 lakhs INR to 18 lakhs INR (roughly 18,765 to 22, 517 US Dollars).
For those unaware, the CE 04 is an ultra premium scooter that brings some concept design features. This model offers a 20hp liquid cooled PMSM paired with a 8.9kWh battery pack that offers around a 130km of range on a single charge. Furthermore, it can reach 0 to 50kmph in just 2.6 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 120kmph.
JBL had recently launched a couple of new products in India. And now, the company has released a new truly wireless earbuds in the market, which are dubbed the Live Pro 2 TWS. So let’s have a look at their specs and pricing.
The new wireless earphones from the brand are new TWS stereo earbuds that are equipped with six microphones that help with noise and wind isolation technology. Furthermore, the Live Buds Pro 2 earbuds also support ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) technology and even offers a smart Ambient mode as well. The company’s latest wireless earbuds feature a stem design and house 11mm dynamic drivers.
As per official notes, the Live Pro TWS earbuds can last for up to 40 hours of total music playback when paired with the charging case. Each earbuds alone can offer an impressive audio playback of 10 hours on a single full charge, so the charging case offers an additional 30 hours. Notably, a mere 15 minute charge can even offer an additional four hours of playback as well. The earbuds can also be paired with the JBNL headphones application, which lets them manually tune the ANC level, modify ambient sound settings, and more.
Other features include, IPX5 water resistance, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity support, and support for popular voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The new JBL Live Pro 2 are available in two color options, namely Black and Blue. Vivo is set to launch the new T1x smartphone model in India on July 20. However, prior to its official announcement, a new leak has revealed the pricing of the device for the Indian market. So let’s have a look.
Notably, we had previously reported on the Indian variant of the T1x being different than the version launched in Malaysia. The latter had released with a triple camera setup, while the Indian variant will sport a dual camera setup on the rear. The report also revealed the key specifications regarding the upcoming smartphone. Based on what we know so far, the Vivo T1x will sport a 6.58 inch Full HD+ display that supports 90Hz refresh rate.
It will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC that will be paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. A large 5,000mAh battery pack will power this device, which should also feature virtual memory expansion as well. As per the latest 91Mobiles report, the Vivo T1x will start for a price of 11,499 INR (roughly 144 US Dollars) for its 4GB + 64GB model.
In comparison, the T1x model in Malaysia launched at a starting price of 649 MYR (roughly 146 US Dollars). This basically means that the Indian region will be receiving a slightly watered down version of the same model but at a similar price tag. It remains to be seen how the higher end model will be priced in the region, but there is a chance that the Chinese smartphone brand simply skips this model as well.

Microsoft Surface Duo range is a unique take on the foldable phone, with a book-like physical factor and two distinct screens instead of one folding display. However, these devices were initially quite pricey, starting at $1400.
Surface Duo Go 1
A mid-range Surface Duo tablet that has been discontinued is now listed on eBay, according to Windows Central. The outlet was nevertheless able to save a few pictures even though the item had already been sold and the listing had been taken down.
Surface Duo Go 2
According to the source, the tablet, code-named Cronos, was slated to be on sale later this year as a less expensive alternative to the Surface Duo 2. This means flat screens without the look bar, a plastic body, a twin camera configuration, and an upper mid-range Snapdragon processor. A precise price range wasn’t mentioned, so it’s unknown if the less expensive Surface Duo would have provided a 90Hz refresh rate like its more expensive stablemate.
The device was abandoned in late 2021 so that Microsoft could concentrate on the following high-end Surface Duo (presumably the Surface Duo 3). The launch of this main product is supposedly planned for the following year.
Surface Duo Go 3
We haven’t yet seen a mid-range Surface Duo device, which might be a good thing. Microsoft’s initial Surface Duo was a shoddy mess when it first came out, and the Surface Duo 2 had a similar rollout. What are the chances that a third Surface Duo model will again be released with a number of problems? Even still, a more affordable gadget would increase the accessibility of Microsoft’s dual-screen devices.
OPPO introduced the OPPO Pad Air tablet and the OPPO Enco X2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in India during Monday’s Reno 8 series launch event. This new tablet from the Chinese tech giant will be available in the country on July 23. Now, just a day after the release of the OPPO Pad Air, a prominent tipster has revealed that the company may be working on two new tablets for the Indian market.
Oppo Pad Air
In a tweet, tipper Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) speculated that OPPO might be getting ready to introduce two additional tablets in India. One of the tablets is anticipated to be a low-cost option, while the other one might be a tablet in the mid-range. Sharma skipped over the details of these tablets’ specifications. Additionally, the corporation has made no mention of these plans.
The low-cost tablet might be an entirely new product from the Chinese manufacturer. The OPPO Pad, which was released in China earlier this year in March, might be a mid-range tablet. It costs CNY 2,299 (about Rs. 27,000) for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage configuration. This tablet has an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and runs ColorOS 12, which is based on Android 11. It has an 8,360mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities. The Oppo Pad has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel back sensor for imaging.
On Monday, OPPO introduced the OPPO Pad Air in India which will retail at INR 16,999. It boasts a 10.36-inch display with a resolution of 2,000×1,200 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. This tablet’s internal hardware consists of an Adreno 610 GPU and a Snapdragon 680 SoC. It has an 8-megapixel back camera as well as a 5-megapixel front camera. The 7,100mAh battery of the tablet supports 18W quick charging.
OnePlus is gearing up to bring a new flagship, dubbed the OnePlus 10T, to India. The company has not shared any details regarding the launch. However, a new report suggests that the upcoming smartphone will launch in India on August 3. It has also been reported that the OnePlus smartphone will arrive in India in two color options – Jade green and Moonstone black. The OnePlus 10T 5G is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 16 GB of RAM, and a 4,800mAh battery with 150W charging support.
Tipster Passionategeekz, in association with MobilesTalk, has revealed that the OnePlus 10T 5G could make its way to the Indian market on August 3. However, it is not known if the global launch of the smartphone will also take place on the same day as India. The Chinese company is yet to make any official announcement regarding the launch of the smartphone.

Further, the report also reveals that the OnePlus 10T 5G will come in two colorways -Jade green and Moonstone black. It is reported that the Moonstone Black variant will come in the sole 16GB RAM model, while the Jade Green variant, on the other hand could come in lower storage models. The OnePlus smartphone will go on sale through Amazon.
According to previous reports, the OnePlus 10T 5G will be priced at Rs 49,999 ($627) for the base variant. The smartphone is likely to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It could be backed up by a 4800mAh battery, which may support 150W fast charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, it may sport a 50MP IMX766 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device is expected to have a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
Samsung is back at it with yet another intriguing photography app available in the Galaxy Store, just a few months after introducing the Expert RAW camera app for Galaxy devices.
The application, Galaxy Enhance-X, claims to be a “one-stop AI solution for all media enhancements” that uses artificial intelligence to evaluate your photographs for flaws, enhance them, and upscale them to a higher quality.
The app has a lot of features such as blur removal, reflections removal, resolution upscaling, detail sharpening brightening a low-light image, HDR effect improvement, and moire pattern removal.
The software undoubtedly offers a diverse range of interesting features and functionalities. Having a first-party solution is always nice, even though we’ve seen the majority of things in numerous third-party applications, such as Adobe’s Lightroom and Photoshop Express.
The Galaxy Enhance-X app’s biggest feature is that all adjustments and enhancements are made to a copy of your image, effectively preventing any damage to the original image. This app is only available on the Galaxy Store, therefore it might not be accessible everywhere. Additionally, it only works with Android 10 phones, thus earlier devices cannot use it.
Samsung maintained its position as the leading smartphone provider globally with a 21 percent market share. Thanks in part to strong sales of its reasonably priced Galaxy A series.
Data from market research company Canalys’ second-quarter sales figures reveal a 9 percent decrease in smartphone shipments year over year. The descriptive analysis of the reasons for the problem blames both regional and worldwide economic difficulties.
Apple was able to maintain the second best market share among all phone manufacturers with 17 percent thanks to the continued high demand for the iPhone 13 series. Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo, all Chinese brands, came in third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. The second quarter saw reductions in phone shipments for each of these companies, leaving them with respective market shares of 14% (Xiaomi), 10% (Oppo), and 9% of the global market (Vivo).
Runar Bjrhovde, a Canalys Research Analyst, said: “Vendors were forced to review their tactics in Q2 as the outlook for the smartphone market became more cautious. Economic headwinds, sluggish demand, and inventory pileup have resulted in vendors rapidly reassessing their portfolio strategies for the rest of 2022. The oversupplied mid-range is an exposed segment for vendors to focus on adjusting new launches, as budget-constrained consumers shift their device purchases toward the lower end.”
For the record, Apple’s market share increased by a commanding 21.4 percent on a yearly basis. With a 16.7% year-over-year rise in Q2 market share, Samsung came in second place to Apple. Vivo lost 10% of its Q2 2021 market share in 2022, while Oppo had a 9.1% annual decline in its second quarter market share. Xiaomi saw a loss of 17.6% of its Q2 2021 market share.
The Google Pixel 6a is expected to be unveiled in India by the end of this month (July). The specifications and design of the phone have already leaked online. And today, a reliable tipster has revealed the alleged Indian pricing of the Pixel 6a. The price of the device is lower than we expected and it is likely to create cutthroat competition in the premium mid-range segment.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav took to Twitter to reveal the Indian pricing of the Pixel 6a. As per the tipster, the overhauled Pixel smartphone will be priced at around Rs. 37,000 (roughly $462) in India. Previously, it was reported that the Pixel 6a would come with a price tag of Rs. 40,000 ($500), but it appears Google is keeping the prices low. Flipkart is said to be offering the Pixel 6a for purchase.
Google Pixel 6a
The leaked price is fairly competitive, and it is going to give a tough time to the brand-new Nothing Phone (1) and the upcoming OnePlus 10T. Pixel 6a definitely has the upper hand on both of these smartphones. The only letdown with the Pixel is the display. Google is said to be using a 60Hz panel on the Pixel 6a, which is far below the industry standards.
But again, the rest of the impressive features will likely make up for the display. We can’t really complain about Google using a 60Hz panel in its affordable phones when Apple uses the same in its premium smartphones.
Google has made a lot of improvements to the Pixel 6a. For instance, the tech giant has used a different fingerprint sensor on the device to offer smooth unlocking. As mentioned, the Pixel 6a will be launched in the last week of July. It will go on sale a few days after the launch.
Nothing has recently launched the Nothing Phone (1), the company’s first-ever Android smartphone. The phone has recently been one of the most talked-about smartphones, but it is undoubtedly not without its own share of problems. Buyers who pre-ordered the device through Flipkart have begun getting them, and some of them have already begun to raise a number of problems with the device. It seems that some Nothing Phone (1) devices are facing a variety of hardware-level issues.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, a green tint problem is, well, “Nothing” new for companies launching devices with AMOLED panels. The Nothing Phone (1) has been added to the list of cellphones that have experienced the same fate in the past. As the name implies, the green tint problem results in the device’s display malfunctioning because the dark portions of the display take on a green tint.
One customer who purchased a Nothing Phone (1) through Flipkart had to return it in the hopes of receiving a unit without issues, however, the replacement handset also had the same problem. These are clear signs of poor qualty control during the manufacturing process.
In addition to the green tint issue, many people have also been having trouble with faulty selfie cameras. Notably, numerous Nothing Phone (1) devices now have a punch-hole selfie camera that appears significantly extended.
It is a little disappointing to see such problems with a brand’s pilot smartphone, even though the Nothing team has already acknowledged the problems, and the impacted buyers will probably receive a replacement unit. The company is yet to publish official instructions on what users should do if their Nothing Phone (1) is facing similar kinds of issues. We can only hope that these problems won’t be present in the upcoming batch of Nothing Phones (1) that come out of the manufacturing.

The Xiaomi 12S series launched only a few weeks ago, and rumors about the Xiaomi 13 series are already swirling. Previous leaks have suggested that the Xiaomi’s next-gen series may debut in November, and it will be equipped with Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Today, a popular tipster has revealed that Xiaomi 13 series will be equipped with a single-cell 100W battery supported by the company’s self-developed charging chips. The device is also tipped to support 50W fast wireless charging.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra
The Tipster Digital chat station has been revealing some interesting details about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship series. Earlier, the tipster shed some light on the series’ processor and launch date. Today, he revealed that Xiaomi will use a 100W single-cell battery in the 13 Series. The battery will be accompanied by Xiaomi’s in-house charging chips.
The charging chip used in the Xiaomi 13 series will likely be an upgraded version of the Surge P1—the company’s first-generation charging chip used in the 12 series of smartphones. Surge P1 was used for more effective power management. The chip can reduce heat loss by up to 30%.
The tipster also revealed that the Xiaomi 13 series will support up to 50W wireless fast charging, which is the same as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
According to previous reports, the upcoming series will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor (not released yet). Also, it is rumored that there will be no MediaTek Dimensity variants like this year. The Xiaomi 13 series will likely have a high-resolution 2K screen supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.
The series is expected to include two devices- Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro. It may launch in November this year. We hope to learn more details about the upcoming series in the coming days.
The OPPO Enco X2 has been announced in India. The premium earbuds have arrived with a price tag of Rs 10,999 (~$138). It succeeds the original Enco X TWS earbuds, which was announced for Rs 9,990 (~$125) in January 2021. As compared to the older model, the Enco X2 comes with a handful of new features, such as longer battery life, better audio performance, support for connecting dual devices, and an improved design. Here I bring to you the unboxing and first hands-on impressions of the Enco X2.
OPPO Enco X2: Box Contents and Design
OPPO Enco X2 box contents
It comes in a fairly large-sized box even though it houses a pebble-shaped Enco X2 case. The inner compartment of the retail box houses some documents on one side, different-sized ear tips and a USB-C cable on the other side. As can be seen in the images, the Enco X2 earbuds have an in-ear design with a protruding stem. As compared to the previous model, the case allows users to place the earbuds in a more convenient manner than before. Also, it comes with an additional charging indicator, which sits next to the USB-C port.
OPPO Enco X2: Comfort
OPPO Enco X2
The entire device weighs around 56.4 grams, and each earbud weighs 4.7 grams. I found the earbuds very comfortable to wear for long hours of listening. There is an anti-earwax barrier that prevents earwax from building up inside. It also helps in preventing anti-bacterial growth. As far as build quality is concerned, it has a premium feel. I happened to drop the Enco X2 once by mistake. When it fell, the case opened and one of the earbuds was thrown around 7 meters away. Hence, it is advisable to carefully handle the device.
OPPO Enco X2: Battery life and Stability
OPPO Enco X2 case features a USB-C port, supports wireless charging
OPPO claims that the Enco X2 earbuds with the charging case offer up to 40 hours of listening to music. A fully charged Enco X2 lasted me for three days, during which I used it for phone calls and listening to music with ANC on. Each earbud includes a 57mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 566mAh battery. Apart from charging the case over USB-C, it also carries support for wireless charging.
I found that OPPO and Realme devices could instantly detect the Enco X2 when connecting for the first time. However, I had to press the pair button on the case to establish a connection on other smartphones, the iPad Air Pro, and Windows PC.
It supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Once paired, I did not experience any connectivity issues. One of its major highlights is that it can be paired with two devices at the same time. The earbuds can automatically detect the audio source and switch to that device.
OPPO Enco X2: Sound Quality and ANC
OPPO Enco X2 audio codecs
OPPO has worked with Danish brand Dyanaudio to develop Enco X2’s SuperDBEE coaxial dual driver system, which comprises an 11mm dynamic driver and a 6mm planar diaphragm driver. According to OPPO, the Enco offers a 2x sampling rate and a 2x frequency response range compared to the Enco X. It supports SBC, AAC, and LHDC 4.0 audio codecs.
OPPO Enco X2 noise control modes
With ANC on, the Enco X2 successfully managed to block ambient noise. It supports a noise cancellation depth of 45db. The Heytap app can be used to access transparency mode, noise cancellation modes (smart, max, moderate, and mild), five EQ profiles, and personalized noise cancellation. The latter promises customized noise cancellation based on auditory canal structure and earbud fit for different users. For an enhanced listening experience, there is Golden Sound, which analyzes the structure of ear canals to produce a natural audio experience.
OPPO Enco X2 EQ profiles
With all these features onboard, the Enco X2 does offer an immersive listening experience. However, even though it has a “Dyanaudio Punchy” EQ preset, which promises a better bass experience, I did not find the bass punchy enough.
OPPO Enco X2: Call Quality and Controls
OPPO Enco X2 controls
Each earbud has three highly sensitive microphones, which can recognize voices and cut down on background noise. According to OPPO, the Enco X2 also features a bone voiceprint AI call noise reduction algorithm, which enhances the users’ voice. For me, call quality is one of the important factors in choosing TWS earbuds. The Enco X2 impressed me since some of my call recipients could even recognize that I was talking to them from a somewhat noisy area.
OPPO proudly boasts that the Enco X2 TWS earbuds is the world’s first earphones to come equipped with the Dolby binaural recording feature. Hence, the Enco X2 can be used to record natural and crisp audio.
Users can control the Enco X2 earbuds by squeezing the stem. A single-squeeze can play/pause audio or answer/disconnect calls; a double-press to skip forward, a triple-squeeze to skip back, and a longer-squeeze to switch noise cancellation models. Sliding up or down the stem will increase or lower the volume. While the Enco X2 can be used to summon a voice assistant, I could not find a way to launch Google Assistant or any other voice assistant. When I called out “Ok Google,” I felt that the phone recognized my voice, and not the Enco X2, and launched the voice assistant.
OPPO Enco X2 first sale date in India
The Enco X2 costs Rs 10,999 (~$138) and comes in Black color apart from the white one shown above. The Enco X2 will go on sale on July 25. It will be available through OPPO India’s online store, Flipkart, and Amazon India.

Xiaomi was recently fined by the local authorities in Italy recently. The brand was penalized a hefty sum of 3.2 million euros ($3.234 million) earlier this month. The decision, according to the Italian Competition Authority, was made as a result of the company’s refusal to fix phones that had scratches or other minor flaws while the items were still covered by warranties.
According to Italian authorities, the company’s local business charged customers after confirming that the products were of good quality, but the company should instead examine potential flaws and accept product returns without collecting any fees, including freight and inspection expenses.
Xiaomi responded to domestic media by saying it was aware of the decision and was investigating the reasons for it. The company also stated that it has always conducted lawful and compliant activities, adhering to local relevant laws and regulations. According to the company, it is devoted to offering the greatest after-sales service experience to every consumer.
According to data from Canalys, Xiaomi accounted for 19.7% of smartphone sales in Europe in the first quarter of 2022, while the market share of smartphones in Western Europe is 15.4%. The market share of smartphones in Italy comes in second among them.
Since the beginning of this year, Xiaomi has often stated that Europe is one of its most significant regions, and its share of the European market has nearly reached 20%.
The firm will also work to increase its market share by strengthening its operator channels, developing its retail operation capabilities, and enhancing the strength of its product and brand portfolio.
The Italy Competition Authority has fined Apple, Amazon, Samsung, Google, and other businesses since 2020 for a variety of reasons. The authority fined Amazon up to 1.128 billion euros ($1.14 billion) in December 2021, but Amazon later declared it will file an appeal.
