The known electric vehicle maker, Tesla, has officially entered a new market. Now, the company’s popular EV models will be available in Turkey’s automobile market to further expand its global presence.

Just last year, the American automobile maker shipped over 900,000 units of its EVs across the globe. This marked a rise of 87 percent over the 2020 sales. As of right now, the US and China are the company’s largest market, although now, a new market has just opened up for the brand. Tesla has appointed Kemal Geçer as its general manager, officially entering the new car market in Turkey. Furthermore, the company’s operations in Turkey was previously believed to arrive with a capital increase of 50,000,000 Turkish liras (roughly 3.6 million US Dollars).
The EV maker is also working on setting up a Supercharger network in the nation, which will span most of the Balkans along with numerous fast charging points in Bulgaria. Other regions include, Serbia, Romania, and other countries from the region as well. At the moment, there is no information regarding the company’s sales target in Turkey (Via Motor1).

Emir Tunçyürek, a former consultant of InsideEVs Turkey and co-founder of E-Garaj, will be managing Tesla Turkey’s operations. Back in 2021, around 4,000 electric vehicles were sold in Turkey. While this figure isn’t significant, it was a sizeable growth compared to just 1,600 electric cars being sold back in 2020. As of right now, there are around 7,000 to 8,000 units of electric vehicles that are registered for public use within the nation. However, with Tesla’s entry in the market, we can expect this figure to grow as demand inflates.
A POCO smartphone with model number 2201116PG was spotted at the FCC certification earlier this month. The listing revealed key specs such as MIUI 13, NFC, and support for n5, n8, n38, n41, n77, and n78 5G bands. A freshly spotted Malaysian certification reveals that the handset will be debuting in the market with the POCO X4 5G moniker.
Tipster Mukul Sharma’s tweet shows that the 2201116PG Xiaomi device will be launching in global markets with POCO X4 5G moniker. The same device with model number 2201116PI was spotted at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) earlier this month. In India too, the device is likely to carry the same moniker.
It can be said based on recent reports that the specifications of the POCO X4 5G could be similar to the upcoming Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. It was recently revealed by tipster Yogesh Brar that the Redmi model will be equipped with a 6.6-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to come equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The device is expected to feature a 16-megapixel camera on the front and a 108-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit on the back. It is likely to run on MUI 13 based Android 12 OS. The handset may draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G global edition is likely to be fueled by Snapdragon 690 chipset. It may come with 6 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The handset is scheduled to launch on Jan. 26 in global markets. The POCO X4 5G could be a tweaked version of the Note 11 Pro 5G. Probably, the POCO phone may debut at some point in February.
Earlier today (25th January 2022), Li Nan, the co-founder and former Vice President of Meizu, shared interesting news regarding an upcoming Apple product. Nan stated that the iPhone maker is working on a new pair of “8K glasses.”
The former Chinese smartphone maker’s executive shared the information on his official Weibo account (a Chinese microblogging website). In the social media post, Li Nan shared this news to address those who still “had doubts” regarding the Metaverse. In other words, this product from the Cupertino based giant will be a a VR/AR headset that will allow users to enter the metaverse. Unfortunately, he refrained from revealing any other finer details regarding this matter.
However, this is in line with our previous reports that also stated that Apple is working on its first ever VR headset that is set to launch soon. Initially, it was believed that the headset will launch later this year, but recent rumors hint at a delayed release in 2023. Apparently, the VR headset from Apple will feature performance that matches M1 Macs and will also use the same 96W USB Type C as the 14 inch MacBook Pro. Now, the ex-Meizu official also hints at its native 8K resolution support.
Known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the brand’s headset will house two processors, one of which is a 5nm based chip while the other is a smaller 4nm based chipset. Both of these processors will be manufactured by the world’s largest contract chipmaker, TSMC. The higher end chipset will offer computing power that rivals M1 chips in the new Macs, while the lower end processor would be dedicated towards the various sensors and related components of the headset. It is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year, so stick around for more updates regarding this matter.

Tipster Yogesh Brar through a tweet today revealed that an “ultra flagship” from OnePlus is rumored to be in the EVT phase right now, meaning a launch could be expected in the coming months. EVT stands for Engineering Verification Testing and is a test performed on prototype products during their early alpha stages. It is followed by Design Verification Testing and then Product Verification Testing, after which the product is declared ready for release.

And in return, OPPO’s self-developed imaging MariSilicon NPU might be seen on a OnePlus flagship in the second half of 2022.

Apple had launched an updated version of the Mac Mini towards the end of 2020, making it one of the first devices to come powered by Apple Silicon’s new M1 chipset.
Ever since the launch of the M1-powered Mac Mini, there have been rumors about a more powerful Mac Mini being under work. Now, a new report hints that the more powerful model could go official later this year.
According to the report from @dylandkt, the first event of Apple in 2022 could have an upgraded Mac Mini powered by the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. It is also being said that the product will have a new design.
If the previous reports are to be believed, then it will have a thinner body with a polycarbonate top, an increase in the ports at the back, and a magnetic power connection.
The new Mac Mini isn’t the only device that Apple is expected to launch at the spring event in the coming months. It is also expected to launch a new iPhone SE with 5G connectivity support, an updated iPad Air, and a bunch of other products.

Microsoft has finally rolled out the Android 11 update for its first Android smartphone, the Surface Duo. This device featured a unique dual display design, but suffered from a number of issues.
For those unaware, the device was quite expensive at launch and faced a number of bugs and issues despite being marketed as a dual display based multitasking platform. A number of buyers were also left disappointment as the Surface Duo did not receive the Android 11 update last year. Now, despite Android 12 already being available in the market, the American tech giant has finally rolled out the Android 11 build for the device.
In other words, the Microsoft Surface Duo is a whole update cycle behind, but its better late than never. Talking about the update, the device now runs on version number 2021.1027.156, which is currently being rolled out to unlocked Surface Duo users in North America and Europe. On the other hand, carried variants will receive an update later on. A ‘derivative’ of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is under development with model number ‘L2S’ and it will feature the upcoming SM8475 chip, prominent industry insider Digital Chat Station has revealed with a post on Weibo.
L2S is obviously not the final name of the device and the mysterious model is currently undergoing testing, meaning a launch could be expected in the coming months. The phone has been declared a derivative because of its model number — L2S only got an ‘S’ on top of Xiaomi 12 Pro’s L2 official nickname. Some netizens have thus already given the upcoming device an unofficial ‘Xiaomi 12S’ moniker.
While other details about the L2S are still in the dark, we do know that it will be packing a slightly upgraded version of the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 that the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with. The already released 8 Gen 1, codenamed SM8450, uses Samsung’s 4nm manufacturing process and many feel it’s inferior to TMSC’s 4nm process.

On the other hand, the upgraded 8 Gen 1 (SM8475) will likely be built using the TMSC process, meaning it could bring about better performance.
The present version of the chip has already come under fire for alleged overheating and throttling issues, which have even resulted in some really lackluster Geekbench 5 scores — something that the SM8475 will hopefully be improving on.
If the Xiaomi L2S indeed becomes a reality, then it will take the tally up for the Xiaomi 12 series to a total of four models. The series is currently comprised of the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X, and there’s even an Ultra model in the works.
Xiaomi is all set to unveil the Redmi Note 11 series tomorrow (January 26) for the international markets. We know that one of the models in the lineup, the Redmi Note 11S, will be heading to India on February 9. Today, we have learned that the Redmi Note 11 will be launching in Nepal on January 27. The global wing of Xiaomi hasn’t revealed any specs of the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series. On the other hand, the Indian division has not only disclosed the design of the Redmi Note 11S but also has set up a dedicated page to tease the features.

The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G will house a 6.43-inch sAMOLED FHD+ display that delivers a 90Hz refresh rate. The Noise ColorFit Icon Buzz budget smartwatch will be launched in India next week, according to the official product listing microsite for the same on Amazon.
Noise’s own website now also shows the watch but does not mention its launch date, instead only showing a “Coming soon” button (via Gadgets360). However, on Amazon, the microsite actually displays a February 2, 2022, 2 PM IST launch date. The entirety of the spec sheet as well as the available color options and pricing have been revealed too, and we have discussed these below.
The Noise ColorFit Icon Buzz features a 1.69-inch (240×280 pixels) TFT LCD display with thick bezels and a thicker chin. The default screen can be customized with over 100 watch faces and the smartwatch comes with Google Assistant and Siri support. Bluetooth calling is also featured, meaning you can simply leave your phone untouched in your pocket for calls.
Health-related features include monitoring systems like sleep monitor, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring, and heart rate monitoring. A total of nine sports modes are supported including running, walking, cycling, yoga, and others.

A full charge takes about two hours.
As for pricing, the Noise ColorFit Icon Buzz will be selling at a discounted price of Rs 2,999, down 40% from Rs 4,999. Color options are Jet Black, Midnight Gold, Olive Green, and Silver Grey.

Lenovo is reportedly working on a gaming phone. Reliable tipster Evan Blass leaked the specifications and renders of the next Legion gaming phone that is codenamed as “Halo.”

The Legion Halo will be powered by the next generation 4nm Snapdragon chip with SM8475 model number and Adreno 730 GPU. Since the existing Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip has the same GPU and SM8450 model number, it appears that the SM8475 could be an updated or over-clocked version of the SD8G1 chip. Qualcomm may launch the new chip with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus name in the next few months.
The phone will offer users 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The gaming phone will house a 5,000mAh battery that will carry support for 68W rapid charging.

There is no word on the final moniker of the Legion Halo smartphone. As far as the launch date of the device is concerned, it is expected to break cover in Q3 2022. Apple AirPods Pro are the most high-end true wireless earphones offering from the company so far and the company is gearing up to launch its successor, dubbed AirPods Pro 2 in the coming months.
The company is slowly adding some of the Pro features to the non-Pro models of AirPods but to make sure that the Pro packs unique features to set the model apart from others, Apple has some new features in the making.
The Cupertino-based tech giant has filed a new patent application for a new feature on the AirPods Pro, titled “Interrupt for noise-canceling audio devices” which is basically an automatic transparency mode.
With this feature, users will be able to determine in advance when the Active Noise Cancellation feature should get paused. For this, the user can set the feature to be interrupted by one or more pre-defined contacts that are identified by electronic devices or through verbal commands, either via sound recognition or trigger words.
This means that the Active Noise Cancellation feature will remain active for the AirPods Pro but when the user comes in contact with someone who is in the list of contacts allowed to interrupt, then the earphones will switch to Transparency Mode.
It won’t be limited to the other contacts only as the patent notes that the system can also recognize important sounds such as police or ambulance sirens, or smoke or fire alarms, and those sounds can also be set as triggers to switch the mode.
While the patent was originally filed by Apple last year in July, there’s no guarantee that the feature will make it to the AirPods Pro anytime soon. The patent is just an indication that the company is working on developing this.
As for the AirPods Pro 2, the devices are expected to go official in the fall this year, along with a bunch of other Apple products. There are rumors that the TWS earbuds could come with a revamped design as well as new health-related features.
In 2022, OnePlus decided to rush to announce its OnePlus 10 Pro early in January this year to get ahead of the competition. However, early releases can sometimes lead to unpolished or unstable software. Therefore, OnePlus has just pushed out its 2nd major update after launch to improve the software experience for its OnePlus 10 Pro buyers.
The software update was released to all OnePlus 10 Pro (review here) phones on ColorOS 12.1 in China on Jan 24. The update mentions that several software improvements were installed to help the phone’s photography performance. The main rear camera now has better capture quality, better color accuracy, and software stabilization for photos taken from the back. On the front-facing sensor, the update enhanced the realisticness of the photo and the clarity of the subject in frame as well.
As for system-wide performance, the update brings a smoother, more stable, and more consistent software experience. It also helped to solve a battery bug whereby the battery drain of the device was unimaginably fast. For gaming, the new update helped solved a bug whereby Floating Window was making an annoying sound when gamers were gaming with the Floating Window feature on.
Software update details on OnePlus 10 Pro in China
For connectivity, the new ColorOS 12.1 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro improves the Internet stability of the phone’s global internet roaming network within China. Last, there is a new feature added called Global Translation in the Floating Windows bar, which works similar to Google Lens in the global markets. Global Translation is a feature that allows the user to translate the content on the screen to their familiar language, via a quick tap through the Floating Windows ball found on ColorOS devices.
Talking about the OnePlus 10 Pro, it sports a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen with QHD+(3216 x 1440 pixels) resolution, with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless SuperVOOC fast charging technology. On the rear, it features a triple camera system with a 48MP Sony IMX789 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens, while the front has a 32MP selfie shooter.
Google has been working on its own foldable smartphone, aiming to take a shot at the growing interest for this new form factor in the market. Ahead of the official launch later this year, the phone’s pricing details have been tipped.
The Google Pixel Notepad, which is what the device is expected to end up being called instead of the rumored Google Pixel Fold, is said to have its pricing lower than that of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.
As per the report from 9to5Google, the upcoming foldable smartphone from Google could be priced around $1,400, which makes it significantly cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 which is priced at $1,800.
If this turns out to be true, then it will be interesting to see Google manage to keep the pricing lower for its first foldable smartphone. Samsung‘s first foldable smartphone was priced much higher and the company managed to bring its price at lower levels after launching a couple of devices.
However, having the device priced around $1,400 is still possible given that the recently launched OPPO Find N costs around $1,200 but Chinese companies are known for cut-throat pricing, a strategy that is usually not adopted by giants like Google and Apple.
Based on the information leak, it doesn’t appear that the company is compromising on the specifications front as the device is expected to come powered by the Google Tensor (GS101) chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. But the photography experience may get affected as the phone is said to have a downgraded camera setup compared to the Pixel 6 lineup.
It is said that the Google Pixel Notepad will initially launch only in the United States but the device will be released in the international markets by the end of this year. As of now, there’s no information about the launch date but it should get released in Q3 2022.

A Google survey has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 will start at $899 in the United States, while the S22 Plus will cost $1,099. The leak only mentions the starting price for the upcoming phones and doesn’t list pricing for all the variants that will get launched. The recently leaked European pricing for the series has listed pricing for all the variants of the Galaxy S22 series.
The pricing for the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung in the United States is about $100 higher for the base model when compared to its predecessor. It will be interesting to see how the devices are received by the customers given that the South Korean giant is facing a lot of competition.
Although the Galaxy S22 lineup is expected to come with some major upgrades, including a revamped design, better specifications, improved camera sensors, and more, the pricing will play a crucial role for it to become one of the top-selling products for the year. For comparison, the Apple iPhone 13 Mini starts at $699 while Google’s Pixel 6 at $599.
Indian electric scooter manufacturer Komaki has unveiled a new electric scooter for the local market. The scooter dubbed Komani Venice electric scooter adopts a Vespa-styled design.
The Komani Venice electric scooter retains a couple of retro-styled features apparently imported from the Vespa, including a circular headlamp but this time around, it is fitted with LED bulbs. The headlamp also has daytime running light.
The e-scooter comes equipped with several modern features like a comfy seat, a large windshield, full digital display that shows several parameters such as speed, battery power and more. While the range and topsepeed of the Venice e-scooter are not known, the scooter is said to pack a 3 kWh electric motor paired with a 2.9 kWh battery pack. Back in December 2021, Motorola launched the Moto Edge X30 smartphone in China. It debuted as the world’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Recent rumors revealed that the device will be rebadged as Moto Edge 30 Pro for the global market and is expected to launch in the upcoming months.
Now, MySmartPrice with the help of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed renders of the upcoming device which showcases some variations from the Chinese model.

According to the new renders, the design of the phone including the screen, camera island, and overall stylistic profile will remain the same as the Edge X30. However, the iconic Motorola ‘M’ badge will now be present on the bottom left of the rear panel. One big change revealed by the renders is the placement of the fingerprint sensor which will apparently be present under the screen in the Moto Edge 30 Pro rather than the side-mounted sensor in the Moto Edge X30. The global version of the Moto Edge 30 Pro has the model number XT2201-4.
Other than these changes, the device is expected to host the same hardware and features as the Edge X30.
Moto Edge X30 specifications
The Moto Edge X30 sports a 6.7 inch OLED FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 576Hz touch sampling rate. The screen also offers a 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut and HDR10+. It has a 60-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit. It runs on MYUX 3.0 based Android 12 OS.
The Edge X30 has Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.
A recent report claimed that the Edge 30 Pro will be also released in India. The device is expected to hit the Indian market in a month or two. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the Edge 30 Pro for the global markets.
Morefine M6 pocket-sized PC has evolved through its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign and the company says the device is now available for preorder at a discounted price of $256 (30% discount) for the base model. The Morefine M6 is a mini PC with an Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core processor, 8GB/16GB of RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB of internal storage. The mini PC has support for Windows 11, Ubuntu, and Linux-based operating systems.
The Intel Celeron N5105 chip onboard is a 10W, quad-core processor with base and burst speeds of 2GHz and 2.9GHz respectively, in addition to Intel UHD graphics with 24 execution units and base/burst speeds between 450MHz and 800 MHz.
The Morefine M6 measures 6.1”x3.1”x0.75” and weighs about 0.2kg. The Morefine M6 was first announced in October 2021, Morefine has already activated a crowdfunding campaign that now sees the device priced about 30% below its expected retail price at the end of the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. Morefine expects to start shipping the first units of the M6 mini PC smartphone from April 2022, although the optics of the coronavirus pandemics could bring about a shift of the April shipment date.
Morefine continues to pull its weight in the mini PC market with a lot of successful products within the segment. It is an established company and we would expect its current crowdfunding campaign for the M6 to go according to its expectations. The crowdfunding campaign offers the company another opportunity to enhance the marketability of its products and overall outlook. The early-bird offers for the M6 are for the 8GB/256GB RAM/ internal storage model which is for $256, the 8GB/512GB RAM/ internal storage model which is for $298, and the 16GB/1TB RAM/ internal storage model which is for $359.
This year there are already several flagship killers in the scene and it is very hard to choose the best one. And currently, the flagship killers are even closer to the top-tier ones, which is the reason why they are even more interesting than last year. Design
It is very hard to choose the best design between the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the iQOO 9 Pro. I personally think the former is more suitable for casual users who need an elegant device, thanks to its compact dimension and its minimalistic camera module sporting the same color as the rear side. On the other hand, the iQOO 9 Pro is better for gamers and for all of those who are searching for an original phone, especially when it comes to the special BMW M Motorsport Edition with that amazing stripe showing the BMW colors. Both these devices come with a curved screen and a very high screen to body ratio, but the Xiaomi 12 Pro is slightly more compact because it has a smaller display.
Display
Coming to the displays, these devices are very close to each other. The specifications of these displays are almost the same. They are AMOLED panels with the LTPO technology showing up to one billion colors. They have an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the Dolby Vision support, the HDR10+ certification, a peak brightness of up to 1500 nits, an in-display fingerprint reader for authentication, and a great Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The only real difference between these two panels is the diagonal: 6.73 inches for the Xiaomi 12 Pro and 6.78 inches for the iQOO 9 Pro. They will not be the best displays of 2022, but they are very close to the best panels out there thanks to their amazing specifications.
Specs & Software
It is essentially a draw even when it comes to the performance. The Xiaomi 12 Pro and the iQOO 9 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform built at 4 nm and running at a 3 GHz frequency: it is the best Qualcomm chipset to date and it is paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The iQOO 9 Pro offers more internal storage in the most expensive configuration: up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 native storage instead of just 256 GB. Both the phones run Android 12 but with different user interfaces: MIUI 13 for the former and Origin OS Ocean for the latter.
Camera
It is very hard to understand which of these devices will offer the best camera quality if we only look at the specs on the paper. Both the phones are equipped with a 50 MP main camera including OIS, but the iQOO 9 Pro has a brighter f/1.8 focal aperture and the gimbal OIS technology which is more effective than classic OIS systems. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and a higher 50 MP resolution, while the iQOO 9 Pro has a 16 MP telephoto sensor but with a stronger 2.5x optical zoom and OIS. Both the phones feature a 50 MP ultrawide camera, but the iQOO 9 Pro has a wider 150° FOV. On the other hand, Xiaomi 12 Pro has a better 32 MP selfie camera.
The battery of the iQOO 9 Pro is slightly bigger with a capacity of 4700 mAh against just 4600 mAh provided by the Xiaomi flagship. However, given the small difference, the software optimization will decide which device will offer the longest battery life. The charging speeds are more or less the same with 120W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.
Price
The starting price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the iQOO 9 Pro in China roughly translates into €795/$899. These devices come with almost the same specs sheet: which one would you pick?
