Google has released an update to a limited number of Pixel 6 series devices, bringing the heart rate and respiratory tracking feature to the Google Fit app.
This feature which is present in Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a since march is now being tested for the Pixel 6 series in a limited release.
As the Pixel 6 series does not have dedicated sensors for measuring heart rate and respiratory rate, the feature works using the phone’s cameras. Checking your heart rate with this feature is as simple as placing your finger on the rear camera and waiting a few seconds as the app detects changes in the color of your finger and produces a reading that can be saved to your google fit account.
The process is pretty simple, with on-screen guides correcting you if you place your finger in the wrong place or a pop-up advising you to move to a place with better lighting if you are in a poorly lit environment.
The delayed inclusion of this feature in the Pixel 6 series can be accredited to the new style in which the camera module is set up, placing the primary lens and flash pretty far apart. This design causes a problem, as the feature also utilized the LED flash in the previous generations to take a more accurate reading in low-light environments.
On the other hand, the respiratory tracking feature works by propping up your device with the front camera facing your upper torso to record your chest movements when you breathe.
It was also observed by 9to5Google that “This early access capability is not particularly optimized, with an old Pixel 5-era graphic appears and mentions of being able to turn on the flash in error dialogs.”
It is still too early to tell if this feature will remain in the Pixel 6 as Google warns that tracking your respiratory rate and measuring heart rate “using just your phone” is “being fine-tuned and may be removed.”
You can check out if you got this feature in your Google Fit by seeing if two cards have appeared at the bottom of the Home tab or in Browse > Vitals.
In our last video, we fully reviewed the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus and particularly talked about how the 108MP sensor performed at this point. Unfortunately, when compared to its predecessor, the Note 11 Pro still had room for improvement in the camera department.
So today, let’s take a deeper look at the Redmi Note 11 series by comparing the Redmi Note 11 Pro with the Note 11 Pro Plus.
And let’s find out which model of the series is more recommendable at their respective price points.
Well, let’s see what differences we got on paper first. It seems that battery and charging are the only two remarkable differences between the Note 11 Pro and the Pro Plus. As we mentioned in the last video, Redmi generously brought the insane charging power of 120W to the Plus version, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro comes with a 67W fast charge but at the same time, features a larger 5160mAh battery. Apart from this, these two models do not look much different from each other.
In the Pro Plus review video, we mentioned that 120W fast charging took just 16 mins to get back to 100% of power, which is almost the same result as Xiaomi’s own flagship, the Mi Mix 4. While the full charging test of the Pro version took us around 45 mins, but it’s still faster than some flagships in terms of charging efficiency. Both models are 8.34mm thick, but the Pro weighs 207g, while the Pro Plus’ figure is 204g. You won’t feel any significant difference since it feels almost the same when holding them in your hands. If I didn’t tell you their weights, there would be no way to distinguish one from another. So I would advise you guys to be careful when checking the model and check it from the software end and not from the package you receive. After all, the box is replaceable.
1 of 5
Both the models are powered by the MTK Dimensity 920 5G processor and feature a 120Hz Samsung AMOLED display, the best screen for the Note series to date. They also share the same 108MP camera module.
As for the AMOLED displays, these two models both have a stunning visual experience with the best panel in the budget price range. After comparing the two screens, we are pretty sure that there’s no trick between them, and the two displays bring exactly the same experience.
One of the few significant upgrades that made us happy with the entire Note 11 series is the stereo speakers tuned by JBL. But since we really couldn’t find any difference between the Pro and Pro Plus, it’s better for you guys to check our review video of the Pro Plus. In that video, we brought in the Redmi Note 10 Pro for comparison, and you guys will definitely figure out how significant the audio upgrade is.
Redmi Note 11 Pro vs Note 11 Pro Plus: Cameras
Main Camera
1 of 14
Both of their camera modules are led by a 108MP HM2 sensor, followed by an 8MP ultrawide camera and another 2MP Macro lens. From the samples shot on the Pro and the Pro Plus, we can see that they share the same quality, as well as the same problems. They both present a stable and correct white balance, with a slightly cold color preference. The native 108MP didn’t really help them improve the clarity and sharpness, but on the other hand, they both emphasized relatively good pureness when generating images under low light, which looks so Xiaomi-style. So our conclusion remains the same from the last video — the 108MP mode so far is not being exploited to the native sensor’s potential. But compared to the other models at their price point, no doubt the Redmi Note 11 series is still one of the best options in the market. Especially for the Note 11 Pro, it’s hard to find an opponent that’s close in its strength…….. or is it? Okay, its predecessor, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is also its rival!
Now let’s move on to the night shooting performance. The improvement of night mode is pretty significant for both – Better brightness and noise processing… but there’s still no gap between them.
Ultra Wide Angle Cameras
1 of 8
Let’s move on to the samples shot on their wide-angle cameras. There is still no obvious gap between their samples. They have the same noise issue in dark areas and average sharpness for the 8MP resolution. And night mode slightly optimized the images for both of the models. Apart from that, there are no significant surprises between these two phones.
Macro Cameras
1 of 6
The macro lens of the Pro model basically performs the same way as the Pro Plus. It’s the same camera hardware with the same camera firmware, leading to no difference in imaging.
Performance
1 of 2
About the performance, the Dimensity 920 chipset is likely to be the least impressive part of the entire Redmi Note 11 series, since we’ve seen a more powerful Dimensity 1100 run on their predecessors. And thank God, the 920-chipset run on the Pro version also got a similar optimization as the Pro Plus variant without any compromises. And similarly, limited by the performance of the Dimensity 920, the Pro model’s main camera does not support EIS stabilization in 1080P 60fps and 4K video shooting either.
Redmi Note 11 Pro vs Note 11 Pro Plus: Battery Life & Charging
1 of 3
The Pro model has a slightly longer battery life with a larger capacity of 5160mAh. In our battery life test, the Pro model is estimated to save 10% more on power. Or you could pick the Pro Plus to save around 20 mins for each full charge.
If it were you, which model would you choose?
Our Verdict
After completing the comparison, I really miss the Redmi Note 10 Pro more than ever. But the Redmi Note 11 series is still worth its price if you compare the series with other brands’ budget models. It’s most likely to win the title of the best budget series in the market right now.
But after we used both these models for the past few days, we strongly feel that the Pro model is more recommendable. We don’t think it’s worth paying 50 dollars more to get 120W charging speed and shorter battery life. The Pro version features 67W fast charging, which is already a flagship-grade configuration. No matter how indifferent you are to the additional 50 bucks, I’m firmly on the side of the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
So that’s all about the Redmi Note 11 Series. What’s your pick?
Chinese tech powerhouse Xiaomi led in sales in this year’s Singles Day holiday sales on November 11th in China. According to the biggest Chinese online retailer, JD.com, Xiaomi sold more smartphones than other leading brands including Apple, Samsung, and even fast-rising Honor. The Singles Day shopping holiday holds on the date that is historically known as the World Armistice day 11/11, which is seen as a lucky day in Chinese tradition.
According to JD.com, Xiaomi was followed in sales numbers by Apple and Honor. The leading smartphones that drove the Xiaomi sales numbers during the Singles Day sale are the Redmi K40, (vanilla version) and the Redmi 9A. Apple’s iPhone 13 which was recently released also had some very strong performance. Overall, Xiaomi was able to have up to 50% of the top 20 selling devices (it had 9 products on the top 20). The distribution of these phones cut across the Mi and Redmi brands across the entire price range. A look closer at the numbers indicates that Redmi sold more than Mi brands.
Several new models from their parent company outperformed the parent brand, according to the sales numbers. In this regard, Realme outperformed Oppo, Honor outclassed Huawei, and Vivo had less impressive numbers than iQOO. The JD.com release also provided some breakdown of the sales across price segments and gaming smartphones. Some of the most expensive smartphones included some foldable devices like the Mate X2 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, led by Apple’s iPhone 13.

The sales numbers indicate an upward trajectory for some of the local Chinese brands within the home market, while also posting impressive numbers abroad.

Apple iconic iPhone models have over the years gain a towering reputation due to their sleekness, ruggedness, versatility, and invincibility have been well-documented in recent years. The iPhone’s feats range from surviving underwater for long periods to the exploits of the Magsafe, the stories keep building up. One aspect where Apple has built on in recent times is the strength of the iPhone’s display. Stories abound of how the Apple smartphone model has survived falling from aircraft flying at high altitudes and survived.
Another story has emerged of how the iPhone survived falling from an aircraft during takeoff while going at 50-60 miles. The interesting incident occurred at the Orlando Executive Airport in the US and involved the pilot of a Seminole aircraft which explains why the windows could be left open.
Details of how the pilot dropped the phone are not known at this moment but immediately it fell off, he alerted the air traffic control who then relayed it to the Air traffic control tower. When the green light was given to look for the phone, it was found without any damage and still worked fine. The interesting interaction of the air traffic control crew at the airport is available in the video below.
Well, there are several similar stories but perhaps, a lot more about iPhones falling from just a few feet with the screen not surviving. This is likely a mixture of luck and a higher level of solid engineering from the team at Apple.
Transsion Holdings subsidiary Tecno Mobile made its mark by launching feature phones and entry-level smartphone models. Since then the company has graduated to launching premium mid-range models and even flagship models. The company has now unveiled a new entry-level smartphone dubbed Tecno Pop 5C.
The device features a rather outdated design with the presence of dated bezels on all four sides of the display. The bezels are wider at the top and bottom edges. While the top bezel holds the selfie camera and flashlight, the bottom bezel houses the capacitive home, multitasking, and back buttons.
In terms of specifications, the Pop 5C packs a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by a Unisoc SC7731E chipset backed by a disappointing 1GB RAM while there is 16GB of storage onboard.
The Pop 5C equally features a solitary 5-megapixel camera at the back with an LED flash. The selfie camera is a miserable 2-megapixel sensor. The device crams a smallish 2,400mAh battery under the hood which charges via an equally dated micro USB port.
Providing the interface is the rather outdated Android 10 Go Edition and we are certain the device isn’t lined up for any update going by Tecno’s precedence in the delivery of software updates to its smartphone.
Tecno is yet to announce the price of the Pop 5C but we expect the price to placate for the disappointing hardware and design. Whenever it goes on sale, the Pop 5C will be available in Lake Blue and Dark Blue colors.
An enthusiast who modified an Apple iPhone X with a Type-C charging slot has managed to sell the device on eBay for a whopping $86,001.
The Frankenstein creation was created by robotics student Ken Pillonel, who is studying for his Master’s degree in Robotics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. The auction for the device commenced November 1st but exploded last week, even reaching $1 million at one point (via iMore).
The modified iPhone X reportedly works quite perfectly and not only supports charging through USB Type-C cables but also data transfer.
While the auction for the device did slowly but steadily climb to around $14,000 within a week or so, a big bid of $30,000 dropped and changed everything. Soon after, more outlandish bids began to pour in, with some even reaching above a million Dollars, although those were found to be fake. The bidding then stabilized between $86,000 and $90,000 but Mr. Pillonel finally settled for $85,000. The amount isn’t bad at all though – almost 86 times higher than the iPhone X’s original price.
The deal closed at 11 am ET and is no longer listed on the site.
Ken Pillonel had the following to say about the modified iPhone X:
“This is it. I’ve finally built the World’s First iPhone with a USB Type-C port. It supports charging and data transfers. The first part was about getting the electronics to work. Then the next step was to reverse-engineer the Apple C94 connector and make my own PCB with a female USB C port. Then the schematics for the project were set and tested and the final was to make it fit inside the iPhone! I’m very happy to show you this mod in the form of a Youtube Short.”
The phone’s new owner has secured a “true piece of collection for any Apple fanboy out there.” However, the device’s listing had a few conditions associated with it. The buyer had to agree not to restore, update, erase the phone, or use it as their daily driver, so there’s that. The deal also included an optional 30-minute call with the creator in case of any questions.
A report has revealed Samsung’s plans for 2022 in the smartphone sector. The South Korean tech giant has set its objective to ship 334 million smartphone units worldwide.
According to Samsung‘s plan, the company is gearing up to manufacture an impressive 285 million smartphone units in-house while outsourcing the production of 49 million units to its joint development manufacturers.
The report via Thelec stated that Samsung aims to produce 54 million units of its flagship Galaxy S series and 13 million units of the Galaxy Z Folding lineup.
samsung galaxy s21 vs s21 ultra
It is worth noting that Samsung is almost doubling up the productions of its folding smartphones (13 million) compared to 2021 (7 million), indicative of their vision going forward. The report also detailed that 4 million of these units will be the Galaxy Z Fold and 9 million Galaxy Z flip units.
The report also stated that Samsung aims to ship 176 million units of ENTRY phones, the name for its low-end Smartphones. While in the mid-tier segment, Samsung’s objective is to ship 91 million units, out of which 8 million will be ‘HIGH phones, i.e. the highest tier offerings out of its mid-tier lineup.
The year 2022 will be the first time since 2017 that Samsung aims to ship above 300 million units of Smartphones. However, the smartphone giant is likely to face some bumps in this roadmap, with its Vietnam manufacturing facility temporarily ceasing production due to the ongoing pandemic and with the world facing the global chip shortage.

MediaTek has always been an underdog when pitched against competitors like Qualcomm and Samsung, but its new Dimensity series of 5G chips have changed the game. The company’s CEO recently announced that they’re are now the largest smartphone SoC maker globally, proving its extraordinary growth.
However, MediaTek’s share has been close to nothing in the flagship smartphone segment, thanks to OEMs’ preference for Qualcomm’s solutions. This is likely due to the former’s focus on the budget to mid-range market. But with such success, the Taiwanese chip-maker’s objectives may finally be changing.
Reliable leakster Digital Chat Station today shared the AnTuTu benchmark score of the upcoming flagship processor from MediaTek, and they’re shockingly good – so good in fact that they’ve actually set a new record. The score stands at 1,002,220 and it’s the first time a mobile chip has hit 7 figures. For comparison, the current champ Snapdragon 888 Plus has never gone beyond the 900,000 mark on any device.
The leakster says that the benchmark was run on an upcoming vivo phone, indicating that the device could be the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 2000.
Image: Digital Chat Station
Some questions were raised though since the AnTuTu screenshot says that the score couldn’t be verified and that it’s “abnormal.” Digital Chat Station laid them to rest clarifying that the warning messages are normal for benchmarks run on test units.
It remains to be seen if the Mediatek Dimensity 2000 will remain the king of the hill when the Snapdragon 898 and Exynos 2200 are unveiled. But even if it gets beaten, there is no doubt that MediaTek will soon be piercing the flagship smartphone market if this leak isn’t a gimmick.
Earlier this week, South Korea began testing a new system that will be used in controlling urban air mobility vehicles (UAM). These tests will determine whether the new mode of transport will be used for travel between major airports.
According to a Reutersreport, the new air taxis could potentially cut travel time between major airports by two thirds in the capital city of Seoul. Back in 2020, the country had announced a roadmap that detailed the timeline for the commercialization of urban air travel by 2025. The local transport ministry also expects the service could reduce travel times for distances between 30 to 50 kilometers from an hour on road to just 20 minutes by air.
Transport Minister Noh Hyeong-ouk stated during the control system demonstration that “As UAM is expected to become one of the common means of transportation that citizens use in daily life, it is absolutely imperative that we test and try out UAM services in various environments.” The test had a pilot fly a two seat model built by Germany’s Volocopter at Seoul’s Gimpo Airport to test the controls and coordination. The UAM in qusetion was a VTOL (vertical take off and landings) based and featured helicopter like rotors.
Notably, this craft can also be piloted and even operate autonomously. Although, the ministry official stated that a pilot must man the craft to ensure safety of the passenger onboard, which would also aid in general public’s acceptance of the new mode of travel. Currently, local designers have also shown off a model of their own drone aircraft, with a full sized prototype model expected to begin test flights by 2022.
A tipster has just revealed the possible time frame in which the Xiaomi 12 might launch. The device will reportedly be unveiled next month, following soon after the Qualcomm Tech Summit 2021 event.
Xiaomi 12 Concept Render
The news arrives from known tipster Digital Chat Station who shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). In the social media post, he added that the upcoming flagship smartphone from the Chinese tech giant will be launching in December. The tipster added that the device will feature Qualcomm’s latest high end chipset, which is expected to be revealed in the arriving Qualcomm Tech Summit event that will be held from November 30 and December 2.
In other words, the launch of the Xiaomi 12 series could likely follow soon after the official announcement of the Snapdragon 898/895 chipset. For those unaware, this SoC will be housed in many next gen flagship models and is said to be manufactured on the 4nm process. While the tipster did reveal the possible launch timeline for the Chinese market, he did not reveal any other finer details regarding the smartphone nor did he provide a specific date.
Meaning, we still have no way of knowing when the device will actually launch; or even if the report is true as the brand has yet to officially reveal the launch date. So stay with us for more, as we will be providing updates when additional information is available regarding this matter.
A new report has just revealed that the smartphone market in India is expected to see modest annual growth this year. In 2021, the market is expected to see only single digit rise.
According to IDC, the smartphone market in India saw a 12 percent year on year decline in the third quarter of this year. During this quarter, only 48 million units were shipped, despite seeing four consecutive quarters of growth. Although, this decline can be attributed to factors like the ongoing component shortages along with an unusually high third quarter performance last year. But comparing Q3 2021 to Q3 2019, we can see that the market saw a 3 percent growth as various channels also stocked up for the festive season despite the semiconductor shortage.
As per IDC Research Director Navkendar Singh, “The first nine months of the year (Jan-Sep’21) already shipped 120 million units, with 1H21 clocking 42% YoY growth. Due to supply challenges, 4Q21 is expected to see a decline, resulting in annual shipments below 160 million in 2021. The first half of 2022 will remain challenging, with some easing out expected in the latter half of 2022. Vendors/channels will keep an eye on the over stocking situation in case demand stays limited due to the price hikes by the suppliers and vendors.”
The report further added that online channels saw a record high 52 percent share in overall smartphone sales, especially during the online promotional offers from companies like Amazon and Flipkart. This continued on till Diwali, which is one of the major festivals in the country. Meanwhile, offline channels declined by 18 percent YoY, with IDC expecting online channels to overtake offline shipments in 2021. As of right now, India is the third largest 5G smartphone market due to a growing dependency on smartphones triggered by the remote work and education has lead to a rise in demand for high quality hardware.
With life returning back to normal in countries like India following the peak COVID days, the air isn’t as crisp as once it was during lockdowns. realme is aware of the resultant rise in the demand for air purifiers and is now gearing up to launch the realme TechLife Air Purifier Pro.
The company had forayed into the air purifier market earlier this year, further expanding on a vast portfolio of wearable and smart home products. Its first offering as part of the new venture was the realme TechLife Air Purifier that sold for ₹7,999. The company is now looking to launch the Pro variant of the same at twice the price of ₹15,999 (via MySmartPrice).
With the increased price also come multiple advanced new features. For starters, there is a better HEPA filter with a higher lifespan of 3500 hours – a notable improvement over 2800 hours offered by the standard model.
The realme TechLife Air Purifier Pro also has a taller, more premium-looking design and now even comes with its own display. It will support six different modes namely Sleep, Soft, Normal, Strong, Auto, and Custom. It will also come with a child lock support feature and a laser dust sensor.
Last but not least, the air purifier can be linked to the Realme Link app for detailed readings and further controls like most other realme appliances.
The BBK Electronics subsidiary is yet to announce the release date of the new air purifier but we should know more about it in the coming days.

Dynamic theming introduced with Android 12 is easily one of the most significant UI upgrades Android has seen in years. The feature picks colors from the wallpaper and splashes them across the system UI and supported apps. Codenamed ‘monet’, it is currently exclusive to the Pixels and Google is yet to release the source code for it, but that’s set to change quite soon.
Mishaal Rahman on Twitter (via XDA Developers) shared a new code commit in Google’s Material Components library titled “Add supporting manufacturer list of dynamic colors.” It includes a list of OEMs that will support dynamic system themes. The list currently comprises OPPO, realme, OnePlus, vivo, Xiaomi, Motorola, itel, Tecno Mobile, Infinix, HMD Global, Sharp, Sony, TCL, Lenovo, Google, and Roboelectric.
This is interesting. The source code for Monet (Android 12's wallpaper-based theme system) will be released with Android 12L, but based on this code change for the Material Components library, it looks like a bunch of OEMs are implementing dynamic color support themselves. https://t.co/Oufh9zxDnZpic.twitter.com/9obGYbbMDC
Google had earlier confirmed that the code for monet will be uploaded to AOSP sometime after the release of Android 12. And it has now been confirmed that this will be happening with the release of Android 12L in early 2022.
However, it had been unclear if any manufacturer besides Google would be interested in supporting dynamic themes, considering most have their own Android skins with various design languages. While these OEMs don’t seem to have plans of implementing monet, they do seem to be working on their own implementations entirely.
As such, the color palettes generated from your wallpaper will likely be different from Google’s monet.
A great example of this is the Android 12 beta for the OPPO Find X3 Pro which has its own implementation of dynamic theming and thus creates its own unique palettes. This could also mean that OPPO won’t be making use of the monet engine when it goes live at all, and instead stick to using its own dynamic themes engine.
Oddly, Samsung is missing from the supported manufacturers list even though One UI 4 does come with a dynamic color feature. The reason for this could be Samsung not planning to plug into the Material Components library at all. The downside to this will be that only the supported system apps will be able to benefit from Samsung’s theming solution and third-party apps will be held back.
However, it isn’t unlikely for more OEMs to get added to the list so Samsung still has time.
Within just a day of its launch, PUBG: New State has already garnered an impressive 1 million downloads across the globe. Krafton had launched the game yesterday and it appears to have already been a success, despite suffering from various bugs.
While many players were unable to login to the account and some were unable to boot the game entirely, the game still managed to cross the million download milestone on the Google Play Store. As of right now, the game is also ranked as number 1 in the Top Charts on the iOS app store. Prior to its release, the game had already garnered a whopping 40 million pre registrations on both Google Play and Apple App Store. So, it arrives as no surprise that the game is already a hit.
For those unaware, the New State title is a part of the popular battle royal franchise but is based on a more modern setting. But while a million people have already got their hands on the game, it has not been very well received. We had previously reported on many people facing issues with unresponsive games, server disconnects, and the infamous 38 percent loading screen. Some users couldn’t even boot the game, with the worst case scenario being a rare chance of the device bricking your smartphone.
While this might make gamers stay away from the game, Krafton has acknowledged this issue and has even offered an optional update to address some of these issues. At the moment, this optional update is only available on Android devices and changes the defautl graphics API settings to OpenGL ES for devices that do not support the Vulkan API. Furthermore, the update also fixes game crashes within Vukhan that occurred on certain devices. The company also fixed an issue where optimizing the game right after launching it would cause the game to crash while also offering some overall polishing and stability fixes as well.
XPENG has just announced that it will be unveiling a new smart electric vehicle model later this month. The company is gearing up for a new EV launch that will be announced in China.
The Chinese electric vehicle maker will be revealing the new model at the 19th Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (also known as Auto Guangzhou) in its home market. As of right now, finer details regarding this upcoming electric vehicle is unknown, but the company did share an image that teases the design of the new car. Looking at its silhouette, the EV model appears to be a smart EV in the SUV category.
Unfortunately, its exact specifications are unknown but we can expect the model to rival the Tesla Model X series in the Chinese market, which is also an SUV. For those unaware, XPENG has been compared to Tesla in the past. And now, it seems that the company is expanding its SUV lineup with another model in the works. Notably, since the announcement of the upcoming SUV, the Chinese carmaker’s shares have also risen by 10 percent (Via CNBC).
The G3

Smartphone cameras have made shooting photos and videos ‘on the go’ extremely easy and convenient. Further, the explosive growth of short video consumption and vlogging has subsequently increased the demand for accessories like gimbals which add a professional touch to videography. We are seeing cheaper and sturdier gimbals from brands like DJI, ZHIYUN, and FeiyuTech for the past couple of years and at AliExpress’ big sale this week, a number of these gimbals are on further discount.
Here are the best gimbal deals from AliExpress at this year’s Double 11 Sale:
The ZHIYUN Cinepeer C11 Smartphone Gimbal is down to its lowest ever at $42.13. It usually retails for around $50 on Amazon and AliExpress, so this is an excellent price to grab it.
The gimbal comes with a 4-way joystick and features a variety of visual functions like dolly zoom, object tracking, panorama, time lapse, motion lapse, etc. It is designed to function in both portrait and landscape modes and comes with 12 hours of battery life and even a Phone charging option.
The ZHIYUN Official Smooth 4 is also at its lowest today in months, retailing at $72 (with coupons). It typically goes for around $90+ on AliExpress and Amazon.
The gimbal offers exceptional build quality and a bunch of control options via buttons. Note that it may be a bit hard to fit the super-sized Ultra or Max smartphones on this gimbal, so make sure to check if your phone’s dimensions fit before making the purchase.
ZHIYUN Crane M2 Gimbal for smartphones as well as Mirrorless and other compact cameras is down to its lowest at $161 (after coupons). It’s the perfect time to get this gimbal. One of the biggest selling points is its support for mirrorless cameras and action cameras in addition to smartphones. The stabilization is excellent, and you get 6 different stabilization modes too. With a battery life of over 7 hours, the Crane M2 is indeed a versatile gimbal at this price.
Or if you want something sturdier and dedicated for DSLRs, you can check out the FeiyuTech AK2000C which is down to $193 (after coupons). It supports DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras up to 2.2kgs (with lenses) and offers an impressive 7-hour battery life. It’s a solid gimbal for DSLRs and mirrorless cameras.
FeiyuTech G6 Plus is also getting a huge discount and is down just $120.6 on AliExpress today. If you are looking for a cheap gimbal for your smartphone or mirrorless camera (under 800g weight), this is a good choice.
And if you are looking for a really cheap gimbal, you can get the FeiyuTech Vimble Onefor just $28 today! It’s a good one for beginners and casual streamers who are not looking to spend too much on their first gimbal. Or else, you can get the Hohem iSteady Q – it’s another single-axis gimbal that is on a discount right now at $31.99. You are basically getting this gimbal for nearly the same early bird price advertised on Kickstarter a few months back.
TheHohem iSteady V2 AI tracking gimbal is also down to just $103 at this sale. We have reviewed this gimbal, and it had a really impressive face tracking implementation.
The DJI OM 4is also down to $122in this sale. The gimbal supports phones up to 230 grams and comes with magnetic mounts for extremely easy mounting. It usually retails for around $130, so this is a pretty good discount.
