Dangbei has officially launched the Smart 2 portable projector in China. The device is priced at 1,799 yuan ($252), while a variant bundled with the Atmosphere Set is available for 1,879 yuan ($264).

Dangbei Smart 2 Specifications

The Smart 2 adopts a compact design that weighs just 1 kilogram and measures only 10 cm wide. Dangbei claims the projector is about the size of a milk tea cup, making it suitable for travel, camping, or casual use at home. The integrated U-shaped gimbal allows 240-degree tilt adjustment, enabling flexible projection on walls, ceilings, or tabletops without requiring an external stand.

The projector uses DLP display technology and delivers 550 CVIA lumens of brightness. It supports native 1080p Full HD resolution with 4K decoding, covers 124% of the Rec.709 color gamut, and projects 60-100-inch images at a 1.2:1 throw ratio while keeping noise below 28 dB.

The Smart 2 is powered by an MT9-series chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU, 1.5 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage. It runs Android 11 with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and supports MEMC motion compensation up to 120Hz for smoother playback.

The projector supports AI autofocus, automatic keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and intelligent screen alignment. It also includes eye protection that dims the display when someone steps in front of it. The audio system uses dual 6W speakers with Dolby Audio certification and 360-degree sound coverage. When projection is turned off, the unit can function as a Bluetooth speaker.

For outdoor use, the projector supports 65W Type-C PD input and can run directly from compatible power banks. For connectivity, it includes HDMI, USB 2.0, and USB-C. The system also supports wireless screen casting via Android, iOS (AirPlay), Huawei Cast+, and Windows platforms.

The optional Atmosphere Set adds ambient lighting features with brightness levels between 50 and 150 lux and color temperatures ranging from 1800K to 2000K. These lighting modes are designed to support bedtime relaxation. The projector also integrates with the Mi Home ecosystem and supports voice commands through the Xiao Ai assistant.

Alongside the portable Smart 2, Dangbei also unveiled the D7X and D7X Pro projectors, the X7 Pro, Max, and Ultra 4K tri-laser models, as well as the high-end S7 Ultra Pro 4K projector.

OxygenOS 16 Open Beta Now Available for OnePlus 13, 12, 13s, 13R, 12R, and OnePlus Open

OnePlus has started the Open Beta Test for OxygenOS 16, giving users in India early access to the next version of its operating system. The beta program is now live for the OnePlus 13, 13s,13R, 12, 12R, and OnePlus Open. This is the final testing stage before the public release on October 16.

The OxygenOS 16 Open Beta allows users to try new features, test performance, and share feedback directly with OnePlus. The company says this version focuses on improving speed, design, and overall smoothness. However, as this is an early beta build, some features may not work fully and a few bugs or stability issues are expected.

The program is currently limited to India. Users in other countries will have to wait for future updates from OnePlus.

The application window is open from October 9 to October 13. Users who wish to join can apply through their phone settings. To be eligible, the device must be updated to a specific firmware version. Once approved, the beta update will be available over the air.

How to apply

Go to Settings > About device > Up to date, tap the menu icon in the top-right corner, select Beta program, and follow the instructions. After approval, go back to Settings > About device and tap Download Now to install the update.

Required Build Versions

The update should not erase user data, but OnePlus still recommends backing up important files. Users should make sure the phone has at least 30 percent battery and 4 GB of free storage before starting the installation. Some third-party apps might not work properly until they receive updates. Temporary issues such as heating, lag, or faster battery drain may occur while the system stabilizes.

Dangbei has launched its new X7 series of 4K tri-laser projectors at the 2025 Autumn Flagship Event. The lineup includes the X7 Pro, X7 Max, and X7 Ultra, priced at 5,199 yuan ($730), 6,999 yuan ($983), and 8,499 yuan ($1,194), respectively.

Dangbei X7 Pro Specifications

The X7 Pro features dual QuaLas 22 laser modules and produces 2450 CVIA lumens of brightness. It supports a native resolution of 2560 × 1440 and delivers a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1. The projector supports screen sizes up to 120 inches with a 1.2-1.5:1 throw ratio for flexible placement.

It includes MEMC motion compensation, HDR10, and XDR image enhancement for smoother and more vivid visuals. For connectivity, it comes with HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. The internal hardware equips 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, powered by the MT9681 flagship chipset.

Dangbei X7 Max Specifications

The X7 Max increases brightness to 3000 CVIA lumens using triple QuaLas 32 laser modules. It supports native 4K resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and 110% BT.2020 color gamut.

The projector achieves color accuracy of Delta E less than 0.8. It includes Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Audio support. It uses a 1.2-1.5:1 optical zoom lens with ±120% vertical and ±45% horizontal four-direction lens shift. The system runs on Android 14-based Dangbei Super AI OS 6.0 and includes 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage.

Dangbei X7 Ultra Specifications

The X7 Ultra serves as the flagship model in the series. It features the same triple-module QuaLas 32 laser engine but delivers up to 3600 CVIA lumens. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR Vivid, along with DTS:X audio decoding. The projector uses an all-glass lens system and supports 4K lossless scaling, 1.2-1.5:1 zoom, and four-direction lens shift.

It includes 100% DCI-P3 and 110% BT.2020 color coverage and Delta E less than 0.8. The system includes 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, also powered by the MT9681 chip.

All three models use Dangbei’s Master Crystal Diamond lens, 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and support dedicated gaming features, including 1ms response time, ALLM, VRR, and up to 80 Hz refresh rate. The sound system includes dual 12W symmetrical speakers in a 500cc sound cavity.

The series also supports wireless casting through AirPlay, Huawei Cast+, and Windows projection, and includes auto focus, omnidirectional keystone correction, and eye protection features.

Alongside the X7 series, the company has also introduced the high-end S7 Ultra Pro 4K projector as well as the D7X and D7X Pro models.

Moto Edge 70: What Does it Offer?

The company just confirmed that the Moto Edge 70 will make its official debut on 5th November 2025. Now, a listing on X-Com has revealed almost everything we need to know about this upcoming super slim phone. The Edge 70 will sport a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures just 6mm thick and weighs around 170 grams. While this isn’t as thin and light as the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge, the Edge 70 makes up for this in other regards.

Despite its thin build, the Edge 70 packs a sizeable 4,800mAh battery pack that supports 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. So the slight trade off in thickness and weight seems worthwhile. It is apparently equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, which will be paired with one variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The rear features a dual 50MP camera setup with OIS support, while the front houses a 50MP selfie shooter.

Motorola’s new thin phone can be seen in multiple color options, with one variant featuring a fabric leather finish. Other notable features include a dedicated AI button, Android 16 OS out of the box, and 2 years of warranty. Huawei MatePad 12 X 2025 debuts in Germany with 12-inch 2.8K display and 10,100mAh battery

Huawei has launched the MatePad 12 X 2025 in Germany at €649 (~$722). The tablet, introduced globally in September, is available in Greenery and White.

Customers who buy it from Huawei’s website or the Berlin flagship store before November 4 will get a free NearLink mouse, a Huawei M-Pencil Pro, a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, and a 12-month screen warranty extension.

The MatePad 12 X 2025 is the global version of the MatePad Air that launched in China earlier this year. It has an all-metal design, is 5.9mm thick, and weighs 555 grams. The tablet features a 12-inch LCD screen with 2.8K resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate with VRR support, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. A PaperMatte version is also available for a glare-free viewing experience.

It runs on HarmonyOS 4.3 and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device includes WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.2 with BLE, and a USB 3.1 port. It has a six-speaker setup for improved sound.

Dell Technologies has launched the Dell Pro 14 Essential and Dell Pro 15 Essential laptops in India, targeting small and medium businesses.

Dangbei has announced its new high-end projector, the S7 Ultra Pro, at its 2025 Autumn Flagship Launch Event. The company has not yet revealed the official price of the device. Its flagship variant, the S7 Ultra Max, launched earlier this year at 15,999 yuan ($2,228), so the new model is expected to be priced lower.

Dangbei S7 Ultra Pro Specifications

The Dangbei S7 Ultra Pro delivers a native 4K resolution and 4500 CVIA lumens brightness. It maintains clear image visibility under various lighting conditions and is positioned as a premium home cinema projector.

Fujifilm brings X-E5 to India featuring 40.2MP sensor and 6.2K video capture

FUJIFILM has launched the X-E5 mirrorless camera in India, the latest model in its X Series lineup. The camera is compact, lightweight, and designed for easy everyday use while handling demanding shooting conditions.

The X-E5 uses a 40.2MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor with the X-Processor 5. It offers five-axis in-body image stabilization with up to seven stops at the center and six at the periphery, along with digital stabilization for video. The ISO range is 125 to 12,800, expandable to 64–51,200.

Autofocus is powered by an intelligent hybrid AF system that combines phase and contrast detection, with subject recognition for faces, eyes, animals, vehicles, and drones. The camera can shoot continuously at 3 to 20 frames per second depending on the shutter and mode.

Video recording options include 6.2K at 30p, DCI 4K at 59.94p or 60p, and Full HD up to 240fps. It supports 10-bit and 8-bit H.264 or H.265 recording with 4:2:2 HDMI output. The viewfinder is a 0.39-inch OLED EVF with 2.36 million dots and full coverage. The 3-inch tilting touchscreen LCD has 1.04 million dots and flips 180 degrees.

The X-E5 features a new Surround View mode that shows areas outside the frame. It also has a front control lever, a precision-cut Film Simulation dial, and flush-mounted viewfinder and diopter controls. The camera includes 20 Film Simulation modes such as PROVIA, Velvia, ASTIA, Classic Chrome, ACROS, and ETERNA.

Oppo will unveil the Oppo Find X9 series of smartphones on Oct. 16 in China. After this, the company is expected to shift its focus to the Reno 15 series, which is likely to break cover in November in the home market. While previous generations have included two models — the standard and Pro variants — the Reno 15 lineup is said to have three models this time. A new report, courtesy of SmartPrix, reveals that the topmost model will be called the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max.

According to the report, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPO panel offering a 1.5K resolution and a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, which also powered last year’s Find X8 and Find X8 Pro.

As expected, the Reno 15 Pro Max’s photography capabilities will be its major highlight. The Lumo imaging tech-powered camera setup will comprise a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and an ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Reno 15 Pro Max will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top. It is expected to draw power from a 6,500mAh battery. The handset may also include features like NFC and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Now the race is on to launch the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 device outside the Chinese market. There are three contenders vying for the spot — the Realme GT 8 Pro, OnePlus 15, and iQOO 15. A new report has tipped the Realme GT 8 Pro’s India launch date.

Realme GT 8 Pro India launch date (rumored)

According to a report by 91mobiles, Realme had initially planned to launch the Realme GT 8 Pro between Nov. 18 and Nov. 20 in India. However, since OnePlus has reportedly decided to unveil the OnePlus 15 on Nov. 13, Realme has altered its plan and is now aiming to launch the GT 8 Pro between Nov. 10 and Nov. 12. The publication speculates that the phone may launch on Nov. 11.

If the rumoured Realme GT 8 Pro launch date turns out to be true, Realme India may begin its official teasers later this month. Speaking of this month, the company will unveil the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro smartphones later this month in China. While the Pro model’s chipset has already been confirmed, the standard model is said to feature last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. At present, there is no reliable information about whether the GT 8 will be released globally.

One of the major highlights of the Realme GT 8 Pro is that it will be the company’s first smartphone to arrive through a collaboration with Ricoh. Oppo is all set to unveil the Oppo Find X9 series of smartphones on Oct. 16 in China. The same event will see the arrival of a few other devices, such as the Oppo Pad 5 tablet and the Oppo Watch S smartwatch. Like the Find X9 series, the Pad 5 and Watch S have also been made available for pre-orders through the Oppo Shop and retailer partners. The official listing has revealed key details about the tablet and smartwatch.

The Pad 5 will sell in shades like Lucky Purple, Galaxy, and Deep Space Grey. The brand has not confirmed anything else about the device.

Leaked details that have surfaced in the past have revealed that the Oppo Pad 5 will have a 12.1-inch LCD panel that supports a 3K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will have the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and a massive 10,300mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The Pad 5 will run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16. While there is no information about its thickness, it is said to weigh around 579 grams. It is speculated that the OnePlus Pad 2 heading to the Chinese market in the coming days will be a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 5. However, it is expected to arrive in blue and grey shades.

The Watch S will be the slimmest smartwatch ever from Oppo. It is said to weigh around 38 grams and measure around 8.x mm. The official listings have revealed the configurations and colour options of the Find X9 duo. At the same time, the company also seems to be gearing up for the Find X9 series’ global launch.

Both support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Oppo has recently signed up table tennis Olympic and World Champion Sun Yingsha to endorse the Find X9 series in China. Oppo’s global X handle has also posted the same without mentioning the Find X9 series. Nevertheless, the X post does hint that the series will debut soon globally.

As per a recent leak, Oppo may hold a global launch event on Oct. 28 to unveil the Find X9 series. It is also being said that the brand may hold a separate launch event for India in November.

Google Pixel Buds 2a Now Available in India: Offers Tensor A1 Chip, ANC with Silent Seal 1.5, and AI Voice Features

Back in August, Google launched the Pixel Buds 2a in the global market, expanding its A-Series earbuds lineup. The earbuds are now available to purchase in India through the Google India online store.

The Pixel Buds 2a are built using data from over 45 million ear scans to ensure a comfortable fit. They come with an IP54 rating for sweat and water resistance, while the charging case has an IPX4 rating. Each earbud uses Bluetooth 5.4 with Super Wideband support for improved call clarity and stable connectivity.

They are powered by the Google Tensor A1 chip and feature 11 mm dynamic drivers, Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5, Transparency mode, and active in-ear pressure relief. The earbuds also include stereo spatial audio, a 5-band equalizer, and a wind-blocking mesh for clearer voice calls powered by Google AI.

Battery life is rated at up to 7 hours with ANC on and 20 hours with the charging case. With ANC off, the earbuds can last up to 10 hours and 27 hours with the case. A 5-minute quick charge gives one hour of playback. Charging is done through a USB-C port, and the case has a replaceable battery.

Other features include hands-free Gemini access, tap controls for playback and calls, Pixel-Perfect Pairing, multipoint switching, and Find Hub support. Each earbud has two microphones, a capacitive touch sensor, infrared in-ear detection, and a Hall Effect sensor in the case.

The Pixel Buds 2a use 41 percent recycled materials, including 100 percent recycled rare earth magnets, tin, and cobalt. The packaging is completely plastic-free.

The earbuds are available in Hazel and Iris colors for ₹12,999. Buyers can also get up to 12 months of no-cost EMI using major bank cards.
