Hence, it appears that the mysterious Realme phone could be arriving in the market as the most affordable 5G-ready smartphone.

Probably, it could be priced around 1,199 Yuan (~$172).

Recent reports have revealed that Huawei is planning to unveil the Enjoy 20 5G phone in China. It is a phone with LCD panel display, 13-megapixel triple cameras, 5,000mAh battery and is rumored to be powered by Dimensity 720 chipset. The rumor mill has claimed that it could be the cheapest 5G phone from Huawei. Realme seems to be planning to rival the Enjoy 20 5G with its new Dimensity 720 powered phone.

Huawei Mate X2 renders & details leaked: in-folding design, stylus pen & more

Despite mounting pressure from the US, Huawei is expected to go ahead with the launch of its 2020 flagship Mate series models in the second half of this year. The tech giant is also expected to unveil the Mate X2 foldable smartphone. Talking of the Mate X2, unofficial renders of the foldable device has appeared online.Huawei Mate X2

The renders appeared to have been scooped from a fan-generated video rendition of what the Mate X2 would look like. The rendition is seemingly based on a previous foldable phone design patent that was filed by Huawei. Industry insider Ross Young (@DSSC) who shared the renders affirm that the Mate X2’s design is not much different from the renders.Huawei Mate X2

In terms of the design, the renders show that the next-gen Mate X2 will utilise an in-folding design as against the out-folding one used on the Mate X. The camera module will be located at the side of the screen. There will also be a stylus pen on board, according to the leak. The phone will have a compartment for storing the stylus pen.Huawei Mate X2 patent

Just under the camera modules, the device will pack a secondary screen which can display relevant information such as time and weather.

Perhaps, what should interest you the most about the Mate X2 is that the device can be folded halfway and used in a laptop mode. In this mode, the screen is split into two – one functions as the display and the other one as the input keyboard. Huawei Mate X2 renders

The rumoured details of the device include an 8.03-inch screen size when fully opened. This is the same size as the Mate X.

Samsung introduces AltZLife “Quick Switch” & “Content Suggestions” features for Galaxy A51/A71

Just last month, Samsung rolled out an update to Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 globally with features from the Galaxy S20 series. Now, once again, the company announces a new feature called AltZLife specifically for the Indian variant of these handsets developed by a team of young engineers at Samsung R&D Institutes in Bangalore and Noida.

Samsung AltZLife Galaxy A51 A71

Alt key on Windows computers is used in shortcut combination with Tab key to switch between running applications. In a similar fashion, Samsung’s AltZLife feature will let users switch between normal and private mode on their smartphones by double-pressing the power key.

The engineers at Samsung came up with these features using insights from consumer research. According to a research conducted by the company, 79% of Gen Z customers admit to having content on their smartphones that they don’t want their family or anyone else to access it. This led to the development of “Make for India” features – “Quick Switch” and “Content Suggestions” as part of AltZLife.

Samsung already offers “Secure Folder” powered by “Samsung Knox” security to store valuable private data (pictures, videos, documents, etc), apps and even duplicate apps. The new “Quick Switch” feature allows users to quickly switch between the private space (Secure Folder) and normal space (regular homescreen, app drawer, and apps) quickly by double-pressing the power key.

For instance, if a user is on their private WhatsApp and someone they don’t wish to sneak on them comes nearby, then this user can double press the power key to switch to the normal WhatsApp app on their phone.

This action can be carried out on any screen and its function changes accordingly. If the user double presses the power key inside an app for which they have a duplicate version, then the action will let them switch between the two instances of this app like the above example.

Whereas, if they carry out the action on home screen or app drawer, the phone will launch the Secure Folder. It is worth noting that the system prompts authentication while switching between two spaces. Hence, no other people can access the private data of users.

On the other hand, “Content Suggestions” when enabled automatically identifies faces and categories of images the user had earlier selected private with the help of on-device AI and moves them to “Secure Folder”. Therefore, users no need to worry about adding them manually.

These two features are currently limited to the Indian variants of Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. Samsung has already begun the rollout of the OTA update that adds the above-mentioned two features.

Huawei took a major step towards reducing its reliance on other companies after the US ban with the launch of its own operating system, dubbed as HarmonyOS. The company is now planning to expand the usage with the expected release of HarmonyOS 2.0 which will be utilised on wearables, PCs, and cars. Huawei Watch Fit leaks: renders, features, and price

Huawei has a new smartwatch coming soon and it is not only unique but also pretty and colorful. The new smartwatch is called the Huawei Watch Fit, and its renders, specs, price, and launch date have leaked.

The source of the leak is Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) and he leaves nothing to the imagination.

Huawei Watch Fit Design

The Huawei Watch Fit doesn’t have a round display like Huawei’s other smartwatches. It also doesn’t have a square display but a rectangular one but in portrait and not landscape.

The display is a 1.64-inch AMOLED panel with a 456 x 280 resolution and it is surrounded by a frame which we hope is metal with a silver, gray, or gold finish. The watch faces shown in the render have a simple design but we hope there are others rather than just one with different colors.

There is a single pill-shaped button on the side of the watch along with a hole at the top. We are not sure if that hole is a microphone but if it is one, then the Huawei Watch Fit may have a built-in assistant. The smartwatch is shown in four colorways – green, black/gray, orange, and beige, all with silicone straps.

Anker PowerCore Play 6K is a game controller, fan & power bank for iOS & Android

Anker has launched a new mobile phone peripheral bearing the name PowerCore Play 6K.  The gadget is a cheap product which performs three functions at a go. First, it is a mobile “gaming controller” with support for Android and iOS devices. Secondly, it is a power bank and lastly, it is a cooling fan.

There is no doubt that the PowerCore Play 6K is designed specifically for gamers and wit the three integrated functions, you still get to use your for gaming for an extended period without running out of battery power. You also won’t have to entertain any fear of the phone getting too hot.

The Anker device doesn’t really have any significant feature that makes it an actual games controller. It is more like a kickstand that holds the phone, making it easy for users to achieve a firm grip during gaming. The kickstand can also be used for watching videos. The gadget also comes in handy in keeping the phone charged and cool while gaming. Some might find the gadget too bulky for comfort especially as it crams a massive 6,700 mAh battery which can charge devices at up to 15W via the USB Type-A or USB Type-C ports. The battery can be fully recharged in just 3 hours and should offer a significant boost to the phone’s battery life while gaming.Anker PowerCore Play 6K

The controller also features an integrated fan to keep your device cool during use. We should point out that aside from the gadget looking bulky, the charging cable can also be obstructive while charging. Perhaps, Anker should consider making a new version that supports wireless charging. But for the price, this is a decent product that gives you value for your bucks.Anker PowerCore Play 6K

The PowerCore Play 6K supports phones ranging from 5.7 to 6.45 inches in size. It is presently available on Amazon for an affordable $35.99 price tag. Anker is offering an 18-month warranty for this product.
