ColorOS 6 early registrations are open to Oppo Find X users

If you’ve got an Oppo Find X, we’ve got some good news for you. Oppo have now opened up testing for ColorOS 6 early for all of you Oppo Find X users. ColorOS 6 is the latest version of Oppo’s long-running ColorOS Android skin, like Flyme and MIUI. It’s never really been seen on the same level as MIUI, but they’ve been improving.

The new version of ColorOS features a brand new design philosophy, that being borderless design. We’re not exactly sure what that entails, but Oppo claims there will be a big focus on lighter and eye-catching colours. Over 3500 new have been redone to fit this new design philosophy, and every app has been redesigned to work with it.

We’ve also got a few new features to go with everything we’ve already seen. There’s TouchBoost, which is essentially a performance mode like on gaming phones. We’ve got FrameBoost, a feature that intelligently improves “frame rate stability” on devices. On top of that, there’s a new Breeno voice assistant and a monitoring mode that helps parents keep track of their children.

If you have an Oppo Find X, all you need to do is go to your phone’s update page to register. Opening the menu on the top right should give you the option to participate in the update. If you’ve signed up, tell us how things are going down in the comments below! Until then, stay tuned on Gizmochina.com for more updates on ColorOS 6.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ renders also appear to reveal design

On Aug. 7, Samsung will be holding its Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event to announce the Galaxy Note 10 series of smartphones. The official renders of the Galaxy Note 10 had appeared on Winfuture.de yesterday. Now, the renders of the Note 10+ have also surfaced to reveal its design.

In terms of appearance, the Galaxy Note 10+ is identical to the Note 10 phone. However, the Plus edition of the smartphone is expected to carry better internals than the Note 10. Recent reports have revealed that the Note 10+ will be featuring a 6.75-inch S-AMOLED display whereas the Note 10 will be housing a 6.3-inch display.

The Note 10+ leaked renders show that it will be available in a Black variant that will tag along a black-colored S Pen. The Silver Prism edition of the phablet will feature a dark-blue colored S Pen. There is a possibility that the Note 10 will be also available in some other colors too. The Silver Prism variant is a color gradient edition that has a mix of colors like white, pink, purple, blue and turquoise.

Like the Galaxy Note 10, the Plus model also features a display with a top-center positioned punch-hole for the selfie camera. The display of the Note 10+ is surrounded by super-slim bezels and a slightly thick chin. The handset will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner since it is absent from the back panel. The Note 10 series is expected to feature ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor like the Galaxy S10 series of smartphones.

The rear side of the Galaxy Note 10+ has four cameras. Three of them arrangement in a vertical module and alongside it is an LED flash, a gradient colorway and a 3D ToF sensor. The smartphone lacks a dedicated button for accessing Bixby AI assistant. While reports have claimed that the Note 10 series will lack a 3.5mm audio jack, the renders do not reveal whether it is present or absent.

Rumors surrounding the Galaxy Note 10+ have revealed that it will be fueled by Snapdragon 855 chipset. In other markets, the company could be selling its Exynos 9825 chipset version. The display of the phone is expected to carry support for quad HD+ resolution.

The Note 10+ may feature at least 8 GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. For capturing selfies, it has a front camera of 10-megapixel. The triple camera setup of the Note 10+ may feature a 48-megapixel primary lens. It could be packed with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, rapid wireless charging and reverse charging.

Honor launch posters claim new product will launch on July 15th

Honor‘s been hitting the news quite frequently these past few days. Their upcoming launch is only 4 days away, and we’re still not sure what they have in store for us come the 15th. Today’s teaser adds to the mystery of what’s coming, claiming a brand new product is coming. Is this just the new Honor 9X, or could it be something completely new?

Going off of yesterday’s post, there’s a high chance that this brand new product is the new Honor Magicbook. We got a glimpse of the new device yesterday, and it certainly looks pretty ready for launch. The time is ripe for a brand new laptop from the company, seeing as the old one is starting to get a bit outdated.

On the other hand, it’s possible that we’ll see a brand new Honor TV. Huawei have already said in the past that they’re not interested in making TVs, but that doesn’t apply to Honor. We saw a TV in yesterday’s image, but it’s not exactly concrete evidence. It would fit the bill of being a completely brand new product launch though.

Of course, we’re definitely going to see Honor’s new 9X and 9X Pro. The main question is, what’s going to launch alongside those two devices? We’re eager to find out more, but all we can really do for now is wait for more information. In the meantime, stay tuned on Gizmochina.com for any news on the upcoming Honor product launch.

MediaTek i700 chipset for AR applications, smart homes, stores, factories Launched

While the flagship chipset segment seems to be out of the reach of MediaTek, the Taiwanese company has continued to churn out useful chipsets in other segments. Mid-range and budget smartphones, wearable devices and even AI IoT.MediaTek

The fabless chipmaker has just unveiled the MTK i700, a new AI IoT-focused chipset which is a successor to the i500. The chipset may be deployed in Smart Displays, high-end security cameras and other power demanding applications. The chipset is quite powerful, even if it was to be focused on smartphones which it isn’t.

As for the architecture, the MediaTek i700 features an Octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores and two Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 2.0GHz respectively. The chipset also features an IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU clocked at 970MHz. The chipset work with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM at 1866MHz.

In addition, it packs a dual-core NPU which speeds up face detection five times compared to the i500. The chipset supports the Android Neural Networks API, as well as the most popular deep learning frameworks. The chipset can also be attached to a single 32MP camera or a dual 24MP+16MP setup. When a dual camera setup is in use, it can make use of its built-in depth sensing engine and distance estimation. There is also pose estimation and motion tracking for fitness and AR applications. Running the camera at 120fps allows the chipset to track fast-moving objects.

Further, the chip supports Wi-Fi 5 (2×2 802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 for local connections. It also has a Cat. 12 LTE modem for mobile applications. As for its applicability, MediaTek says the chipset will be useful in access control for smart buildings, facial recognition for payment authentication, fitness and entertainment devices and even some autonomous vehicles in factories and warehouses (something like the robots in Amazon’s warehouses).

The new chipset will start shipping on products from next year.

Nokia 9 PureView vs Honor 20 Pro vs OnePlus 7: Specs Comparison

Nokia 9 PureView and its astonishing camera department just debuted in the Indian market. Despite it did not catalyze a lot of attention, this is definitely among the most impressive camera phones of 2019 and it is even the first device with a Penta camera setup on its back. Despite being a perfect phone for photography-addicted, it is also an affordable flagship and, given that it made its debut in the huge Indian peninsula, we think it is time to compare it with other competitive flagships of 2019. We chose the Honor 20 Pro and OnePlus 7 due to their great camera capabilities and their pretty affordable price tags compared to other flagships.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES  Dual SIM slot, IP67 water resistant Dual SIM slot Dual SIM slot

Design

Despite it boasts an amazing build quality, Nokia 9 PureView does not focus on design and look. It has a very elegant glass back, but there are too many holes on it and also thick bezels around the display. OnePlus 7 is just a slight upgrade of the OnePlus 6T and it is almost identical when it comes to aesthetics, nothing so exciting even in this case. The real interesting one is Honor 20 Pro which has a punch-hole display and very slim bezels. It is even the most compact one, so it fits very nice in a pocket and it is easier to use with one single hand. But note that Nokia 9 PureView is the only water resistant phone thanks to the IP67 certification (not the highest level of water resistance, but it withstands temporary immersions up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes).

Display

While Nokia 9 PureView has not exactly the best design, it comes undoubtedly with the best display. Despite it is an 18:9 panel, it boasts a higher resolution than its rivals (Quad HD+ with 1440 x 2880 pixels) and it is even HDR10 compliant, so it has an amazing color reproduction. Now it is up to you deciding whether it is worth to get thicker bezels for a better display or not. The silver medal goes to the OnePlus 7 which still comes with an OLED display just like the Nokia 9 PureView, but it has a lower resolution and it is not HDR-compliant. Honor 20 Pro has a midrange-class IPS panel which is its weakest point if we compare it with other flagships.

Hardware/Software

OnePlus 7 wins the hardware comparison simply because it is equipped with a stronger processor. We are talking about the Snapdragon 855 by Qualcomm running at a higher 2.84 GHz frequency and including a better GPU. Right after, there is Honor 20 Pro which is equipped with a Kirin 980 and 8 GB of RAM, while the last place goes to the Nokia 9 PureView and its old-gen Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with just 6 GB of RAM. But Nokia 9 PureView is still very fast and constantly updated as it is part of the Android One program.

Camera

My favorite one when it comes to the camera department is the Nokia 9 PureView because of its Penta camera including 2 RGB sensors and 3 monochromatic sensors. All the sensors can work at the same time and they capture an impressive amount of light and advanced depth information. Thanks to this device, you can make professional shots which you can edit in an advanced way. If we talk about photo quality, Honor 20 Pro is more or less at the same level with its 48 MP, the brightest focal aperture ever seen on a  mobile phone (f/1.4), a dedicated macro camera and even a better selfie camera than Nokia 9 PureView.

Battery

Given that it packs a way bigger battery than both OnePlus 7 and Nokia 9 PureView, as well as a smaller display, Honor 20 Pro wins the battery life comparison. Right after, there is OnePlus 7, while Nokia 9 PureView has just an average battery.

Price

While Nokia 9 PureView and Honor 20 Pro carry a €600/$675 starting price tag (it varies depending on the market), OnePlus 7 starts from €550/$620. If I had to choose the best device for most of the consumers, I would go for the Honor 20 Pro due to its better design, bigger battery, and impressive cameras.

Official Samsung Galaxy Note10 renders shows us what to expect

The Galaxy Note10 unpacked event is less than a month away. However, more details about the new Samsung flagship are expected in the weeks leading up to the event. While we have seen renders based on CAD drawings and have an idea what it looks like, they still can’t compare to official renders of the device which have now surfaced, thanks to Roland Quandt of Winfuture.de.

Galaxy Note10 Silver

The renders show us two of the color variants the Galaxy Note10 will be available in which are Black and Silver Gradient. The latter is similar to the Huawei P30 Pro’s Breathing Crystal color variant and has a contrasting blue stylus.

The Galaxy Note10 has an Infinity-O display with the punch hole for the camera sitting right in the middle at the top of the screen. The top bezel is now significantly thinner while the chin has also been shaved by a few millimeters. In a nutshell, we particularly like the way the front of the device looks.

Galaxy Note10 Black

The rear is home to three cameras stacked on top of each other and sharing the same housing. Flanking the sensors on the right is the LED flash. There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear like we have on the Galaxy Note9 as the Note10 will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. In some of the renders, we see the back of the Galaxy Note10 curves to meet the frame in the middle.

The Galaxy Note10 will come with a Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9825 processor depending on the market. It will have a 6.3-inch screen Super AMOLED display and be available in different RAM and storage configurations. There will also be a Galaxy Note10+ whose live photos surfaced a few weeks ago.

Mobvoi announces TicWatch Pro 4G: LTE, more RAM, more protection for $299

Mobvoi announced a new smartwatch today. The new watch is the TicWatch Pro 4G, an LTE variant of the TicWatch Pro released more than a year ago. However, the addition of LTE isn’t the only difference between this and the non-LTE model.

Ticwatch Pro 4G LTE

Based on the teaser, we thought the new smartwatch was a hybrid similar to the Withings Steel HR but we were wrong. Though we will admit we are not too excited seeing as this is a 4G model of an already existing smartwatch. The addition of 4G means you will be able to make or receive calls, reply texts, and connect to the internet without connecting to your phone or a WiFi network.

The watch case is made of polyamide and glass fiber while the bezel is stainless steel. Unlike the standard edition, it also has an aluminum back cover. It has a 22mm interchangeable silicone strap and comes in black. The smartwatch measures 45.15 x 52.8 x 12.6 millimeters and even weighs less than the non-LTE model at 47.4 grams.

Ticwatch Pro 4G LTE Verizon

The TicWatch Pro 4G has the same 1.39-inch 400 x 400 AMOLED display as the standard model. It also has the same FSTN LCD display for the Essential Mode which uses less power. However, the 4G model is covered with Gorilla Glass 3 while the standard model has a “high strength cover glass”.

The watch runs Wear OS and is powered by the Snapdragon Wear 2100. It comes with 1GB of RAM, double that of the non-LTE model, but storage remains 4GB. There is support for 4G, VoLTE as well as E911 and SOS services. It also has GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and AGPS (missing on the standard version).

The TicWatch Pro 4G has a PPG heart rate sensor (TicPulse 24hr monitoring), accelerometer, gyroscope, E-compass, NFC (Google Pay), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.2 LE. However, it now has a MIL-STD 810G certification which means it can withstand temperature shocks between -30°C to 70°, operate between -20°C and 55°C, is shockproof and sand and dustproof among others. It can also be used while swimming, unlike the standard version.

Ticwatch Pro 4G LTE vs TicWatch Pro standard

Its battery capacity remains unchanged at 415mAh and Mobvoi says that should last up to 2 days in Smart Mode, or up to 5 days in Essential Mode auto-switch turned on, or up to 30 days entirely in Essential Mode. It comes with a pre-loaded SIM but the LTE feature won’t be activated until early August. However, other features will continue to work. Do note that it only works with Verizon.

The TicWatch Pro 4G is priced at $299 but if you order it today from the official website, you can get it for $279 along with a free TicHome Mini. If you order from Amazon, you only get $20 off.

Ulefone Armor Flip: The first clamshell phone of the company will arrive this month! (video)

Most of the people around their mid-20s may not even remember that there was a time without smartphones and that clamshell phones were a big hit. But for users over 30 years old, flip phones have always had a soft spot in their hearts even after the advent of smartphones. And there’s still a significant number of users who’d like to have one as a secondary -or even primary- device. The Chinese manufacturer knows that and they are introducing the Ulefone Armor Flip that is a rugged flip phone, ergonomically designed, incorporating a large-button keypad for ease of use along with a big, 1200mAh battery and dual SIM/dual standby support.

As an Armor Series member, the Armor Flip is a rugged feature phone featuring IP68/IP69K protection grade as well as MIL-STD-810G certification, which guarantee its durability and enable it to handle different complex, severe using environments. The large battery is good enough for 13 days of standby time or 8 hours of continuous talk time. It is designed ergonomically to be easier to handle and the keypad sports large buttons to make typing messages or dialing numbers easy. As you can see, it is suitable both for children and elder people.

Besides the rugged features, there’s also a 1.3MP high definition camera for basic photography and it comes with an integrated headset-free FM radio as well. What’s more, there is a microSD card slot that lets you increase storage to 32GB more while the dual SIM/dual standby function makes it possible for you to use 2 separate numbers at the same time.

It’s said that the Armor Flip will be officially launched at the end of July. So far that’s all the details we know about it and the exact price will be revealed shortly before it hits the marker. To learn even more details about it, visit the official product page.

Huawei’s MediaPad M6 “Parallel View” feature supports most mainstream applications

When Huawei launched the MediaPad M6 tablet along side the Nova 5, the company unveiled a new feature that would be onboard the tablet. Dubbed Parallel view, the feature is quite similar to the split-screen feature found on smartphones just that it works on landscape mode. Huawei has now announced that the parallel view feature is supported by most mainstream apps with more to follow soon. Huawei MediaPad M6

The compatible apps are divided into three batches. The first batch includes 17 supported apps such as WeChat, QQ, Taobao, Baidu, Today Headlines, Jingdong, Appbao, Weibo, Thunder, Baidu Mobile Assistant, Tmall, 360. Other apps include Mobile assistant, know, car home, vibrato, fast hand, volcano video. The second batch includes apps such as Alipay, nano-box, homework help. We expect the first batch of apps to be ready when the MediaPad M6 goes on sale. The third batch of apps is reportedly being optimised.

In case you are wondering how Huawei’s Parallel View differs from our below Android’s split screen feature. The difference between the split screen and this Parallel view feature is that both apps can work simultaneously unlike split-screen where one app will be frozen if a second one is working. In addition, one app can simultaneously open two task interfaces without any interference. This isn’t available on split-screen mode.

Huawei Mate 30 Lite appears on TENAA, packs quad rear cameras and 256GB of storage

If you are a fan of Huawei, then surely, you must be looking forward to the Mate 30 series expected to launch in Q4 2019. Like the previous Mate series, the Mate 30 series is expected to have a lite version which will launch as the Mate 30 Lite. This lite version has now made its way to TENAA.

Huawei Mate 30 Lite Design
Alleged diagram of Huawei Mate 30

The Mate 30 Lite (SPN-AL00 and SPN-TL00) will be packing some pretty big upgrades compared to its predecessor. The display is slightly smaller at 6.26-inches but the resolution stays the same at 2340 x 1080. There are no images yet so we can’t tell what it looks like but the image above which surfaced in June is said to be what the phone looks like. However, it won’t have dual-front facing cameras but a single 32MP sensor.

The back of the Mate 30 Lite will house a quad camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary camera we believe is an ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP macro camera. It has a fingerprint scanner and we know it isn’t under the screen since the display is an IPS panel and not AMOLED.

The Mate 30 Lite will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. This is most probably the new Kirin 810 and it is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The Mate 20 Lite maxes out at 64GB, so this is definitely an upgrade. Even with more storage, Huawei still adds a MicroSD card slot for up to an additional 256GB of space for videos, photos, and files.

The phone also comes with a bigger battery, 3900mAh according to the TENAA listing and with support for fast charging. It will run Android 9 Pie and be available in Magic Night Black and Aurora. Its dimensions are given as 156.1 × 73.9 × 8.3 millimeters while its weight is 178 grams.

It is no surprise that the Mate 30 Lite is showing up early. Its predecessor launched in August 2018 which means the Mate 30 may arrive later this month or next month. Its more powerful siblings – the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, won’t arrive until October.

EDITOR’S PICK: Flipkart confirms Realme 3i has an Helio P60 processor and a 4230mAh battery

The most outstanding feature of the Beacon 1 wireless router is perhaps the new smart channel-hopping feature. Nokia calls the feature “Intelligent Channel Selection” and it lets the router pick the best channels for the 2.4- and 5GHz frequency bands by analyzing nearby wireless usage patterns over time, rather than simply picking the clearest channels at the moment. As such, you avoid picking up networks that may lose their strength in a jiffy.

In addition, the device also comes with a bridge mode that’s compatible with an existing router. This comes handy for turning the Beacon 1 into an access point that you can use with other routers, like the combo modem/Wi-Fi router your ISP supplied.

The business-oriented XIDU PhilBook Max hits the market for just $349.99

Making a laptop for office work is not that easy since “office work” has many definitions. For example, someone works at the office all day whereas someone else may need to leave office and work on the go. So, manufacturers try to implement as many as possible characteristics that will make a laptop suitable for both worlds. This is where XIDU is aiming with the all-new Philbook Max 2in1 notebook. Of course, safety and stability are the priority for business laptops, However, with changes in people’s demands and development in the industry, notebooks for business people are expected to be stable, safe and at the same time versatile and trendy.

Philbook Max

When developing the PhilBook Max, the Chinese manufacturer firstly dealt with safety and security. This was easy as the security features of Windows 10 are greatly improved over previous versions. The Philbook Max protects users’ privacy via pin while the touchscreen also improves their working efficiency by reducing reliance on mouse and keyboard. In addition, the device sports an Intel Apollo Lake CPU clocked up to 2.5GHz backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB SSD, enabling users to multitask without any noteworthy lag. What’s more, it also comes with a backlit keyboard that perfectly suits the need of people who work overtime.

Philbook Max

A definitely killer feature is the 2in1 design that, with the help of the 360° flexible hinge, allows you to flip the screen to whatever position suits you best. You can even use it as any other tablet if you flip it 360°. This is space-saving as well if you find yourself traveling in a narrow plane or train seat. And if you get tired, you can relax by watching a movie or some videos when in tablet mode.

Philbook Max

As far as build quality is concerned, the company has undoubtedly done a good job. Philbook Max features a sophisticated aluminum alloy body and the abrasive texture of A and D side of the laptop gives a deluxe and comfortable touch. More importantly, it helps reduce fingerprints and other residues. Also, it is more durable than plastic although it dents may appear on aluminum if the laptop accidentally falls. Well, that’s better than ending up with a broken plastic laptop.

Philbook Max

Lastly, the Philbook Max also provides various external ports including 1 x Mini HDMI, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x Microphone Jack, 1 x Bluetooth 4.2, 1 x MicroSD card slot, 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, and a Webcam. New OnePlus 7 Pro update will fix random shutdown bug

All new smartphones tend to go through a period in which they experience some bugs and kinks that are usually ironed out in future patches. This is why it did not come as a surprise to learn that OnePlus 7 Pro owners were running into issues with the handset, although in this case, this issue seems to be pretty severe.

For those of you who aren’t aware, many OnePlus 7 Pro users have been finding that their devices have been randomly shutting down. There appears to be no rhyme nor reason for the device’s shutdowns, which is pretty peculiar. Following the shutdown, the only way to reboot the phone is by manually rebooting into fastboot.

Thankfully, OnePlus seems to be aware of the problem and are already working on a fix. In a statement made to Android Police, a OnePlus representative said, “we are aware of this issue, and we will be issuing an update to address it.” There is no word on when the patch will be released, but the good news is that it doesn’t seem to be particularly widespread, so not all OnePlus 7 Pro owners are affected.

For now, there’s not really much one can actually do about it other than fastbooting. It’s a temporary fix, but at least it’s something. In the meantime, stay tuned over here on Gizmochina.com to see if anything new comes up regarding the upcoming update.

Huawei doesn’t want People to Buy its Products just because its Patriotic

After the US banned Huawei from conducting business with any of its companies, many people in China became patriotic and started buying Huawei devices to support the company. This way, in the past few months, people often slapped a patriotic label on Huawei products. Essentially, it meant if you were patriotic, you would buy Huawei smartphones instead of something foreign such as Apple. However, Huawei’s Chen Lifang, Director and President of the Public Affairs and Communications Department has a different view in this regard.

Huawei P30 Pro
Patriotic or not, Huawei P30 Pro is one of the best camera phones in the market today!

Chen Lifang says that internally Huawei is quite clear on where it stands. She states that if Huawei doesn’t do a good job with its products, technologies, and services, it’s impossible to survive in the long term by just slapping a patriotic label on the company. So, Huawei doesn’t pay attention to what label people or media slap on them, it just focuses on making good quality products.

Editor’s Pick: Analysts claim HongMeng OS very likely to threaten Android’s dominance

Back in May, even Huawei’s founder Ren had tried to cool down the growing wave of nationalist sentiment towards the company by saying that the iPhone has a pretty good ecosystem and that he still buys iPhone for his family when they are abroad.

From these comments, it looks like Huawei doesn’t want users to buy its products just because it’s patriotic. Instead, it wants to keep focusing on making good quality products. Honestly, it makes sense why Huawei would want to stay away from a nationalist label. Despite its Chinese origin, Huawei smartphones are sold worldwide in millions. They need the support of its global users and the only way to ensure this is to make high-quality products at a competitive price tag.

Flipkart confirms Realme 3i has an Helio P60 processor and a 4230mAh battery

The Realme 3 is getting a new member on July 15. The series already has the Realme 3 itself and the Realme 3 Pro but next week, they will be joined by the Realme 3i.

The phone was seen on Geekbench earlier this week and the benchmark result revealed it has an Helio P60 processor powering it. Now Flipkart has confirmed it indeed has an Helio P60 chipset.

[envira-gallery id=”263426″]

The landing page on Flipkart app shows what the Realme 3i looks like and also stylishly confirms two important specs. The landing page shows the phone in the two color variants it will be available in – blue and gradient red, and both have the diamond-cut design of the Realme 1. There are dual cameras and a fingerprint scanner on the back too.

The part that actually reveals the specification is a quiz and the first option among the answers which is, of course, the correct one says the phone has a 4230mAh battery and an Helio P60 processor. This is the same chipset inside the Realme 3 sold in other markets (Indian version has an Helio P70) but the battery capacity is the same.

There are still other details we do not know about the phone but at the moment, the processor is the only difference between the Realme 3i and the Indian version of the Realme 3. More details should surface in the coming days.

Galaxy A90 Geekbench result confirms Snapdragon 855 inside

It appears the Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy Note10 series will not be Samsung‘s only Snapdragon 855-powered phones. The upcoming Galaxy A90 will also have a Snapdragon 855 chipset under its hood.

This isn’t the first time we have learned that the Galaxy A90 will have a Snapdragon 855 processor: Steve Hemmerstoffer a.k.a. OnLeaks first mentioned it back in June. So this Geekbench result actually confirms the info.

Galaxy A90 Geekbench

Benchmarked as the Samsung SM-A908N, the phone runs Android 9 Pie and has 6GB of RAM. The motherboard which is “msmnile” is the same we have seen for other devices powered by the Snapdragon 855.

The SM-A908N scored 3458 points in the single-core test and 10852 points in the multi-core test. The scores are also similar to that of other devices powered by the same chipset.

The SM-A908N is most likely to be the Korean model since there is an “N” at the end of the model number. OnLeaks said this particular version also has a 6.7-inch screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 48MP + 8MP +5MP triple rear cameras, and 5G support. Ice Universe also said back in June that the A90 5G version will have support for 45W fast charging. It is believed this model will be exclusive to Samsung’s home country.

The other Galaxy A90 which will be available in other markets will also have a Snapdragon 855 processor, the same display and fingerprint scanner but a 48MP + 12MP +5MP triple camera setup and an exclusive feature called “Tilt OIS”.
