The Honor 20i selfie-centric smartphone will go official on April 17. Two days ahead of its announcement, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has started receiving the pre-orders of the phone through its Vmall online store. The product page of the smartphone is now live. It has revealed the entire specs and variants of the smartphone.
The Honor 20i will be available in three color variants in China such as Gradient Blue, Gradient Red and Magic Night Black. It will be hitting the Chinese markets in three models such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. There is no information available on the pricing of the Honor 20i variants.
Honor 20i Specifications and Features
The Honor 20i will be featuring a 6.21-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. It will carry support for full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect. The handset will offer more than 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The TUV Rheinland certified will protect users from harmful blue rays emitted by the screen.
The Kirin 710 SoC will be powering the aforementioned variants of the Honor 20i. The EMUI 9.0.1 based Android 9 Pie OS will be preinstalled on the device. For smoother gaming experience, the phone will be arriving with Game Turbo 2.0 onboard. The 3,400mAh battery of the phone will carry support for 10W charging. Through the hybrid SIM slot, the phone will carry support for additional storage.
The 32-megapixel front-facing camera of the Honor 20i will be arriving with AI driven selfie beautification features. The rear-facing triple camera setup will include a 24-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The photography features that will be available on the Honor 20i include AI beauty, night scene mode, portrait mode, professional camera, panorama and so on. The rear shell of the phone has a fingerprint scanner.
The other features of the Honor 20i include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. The box package of the phone will include a free TPU case apart from other items like charger adapter, charging cable, SIM ejector tool, user manual and handset.
