The Android One has a screen of 4.5 inch with a 480×854 pixels screen resolution. Android One is loaded with quad-core processor, MediaTek MT6582 (1.3 GHz), 1 GB RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 1S has a bit larger screen of 4.7 inch with1280×720 pixel screen resolution. Redmi 1S also possess the protection of Dragon Trail Glass. It integrates a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset based Cortex A7 processor (1.6 GHz), and 1 GB of RAM.

Camera and Internal Storage

Android One has a 5 MP camera o the back and 2 MP front camera. Whereas, Xiaomi Redmi 1S phone has an 8 MP primary camera and a 1.6 MP front camera.  Redmi 1S has an internal storage of 8 GB expandable up to 64 GB, while the Android One only has 4 GB of internal storage support only up to 32 GB.

H’Max reveals MX9 phablet; is only 7mm thick, has 1GB ROM, and uses MTK8382 quad-core processor

H’Max recently introduced their newest phone tablet, the MX9, a phablet that resembles a cellphone the most.

 

By just looking at the MX9, you would have a hard time distinguishing it from a regular smartphone. It has a very narrow screen frame. On top of the screen are the receiver, front-camera, and sensor. The battery cover is made of magnalium. This device is available in gold and silver, and is only about 7mm thick.

 

Like the majority of phablets, the MX9 uses a processor from MTK. In this case, it is the MTK8382 quad-core chipset. It supports WCDMA/GSM dual-SIM, has 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM, and also sports a 2mp/8mp dual-camera. Its OS is kitkat-customized. It also sports a 6.95-inch OGS screen with 1024 x 600 resolution.

NFC-supported K-Touch T99 only costs 399 RMB (64.93 USD)

During last year’s Q4 season, K-Touch introduced a very special device called the T99. Besides being a China Mobile-customized device, it is also NFC-supported making it one of K-Touch’s very few devices to do so.

Like other NFC-supported phones, the T99 allows data transmission with other devices within close range. It works much better if used with a NFC SIM card.

The K-Touch T99 is one of K-Touch’s most fashionable phones, sporting a 5-inch qHD IPS display screen. Its measurements are 114.7 x 72.9 x 8.5mm. It is completely white with round edges.

As a customized phone, its core specs are not that great. It uses the MT6589 quad-core chipset (1.2Ghz), and has 512M RAM and 4GB ROM. Its OS is based on the Android 4.2 but also looks a bit like the Touch OS.

ZTE launches ZTE MAX; has a 5.7-inch HD screen and costs 252 USD

Today, in New York, ZTE, in partnership with T-Mobile, launched the big screen ZMAX phone.

 

It’s probably because of the phone’s big screen (5.7 inches) that it got its name. Its screen has an HD resolution (1280 x 720) and is covered by Corning Gorilla 3 glass. Both of these add to the phone’s high screen specs.

 

The ZTE MAX’s processor is the Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset (MSM8926) which supports LTE internet. It also has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Its camera specs are not that great, however. It sports a 1.6mp/8mp dual-camera. It is also powered by a 3400mAh battery and its OS is based on the Android 4.42. It also supports dual-frequency Wi Fi and Dolby Audio.

 

A T-Mobile-customized phone, the ZTE MAX costs 252 USD (1548 RMB) and can be paid in instalments. It goes on sale on September 24.

ZTE announced low-cost mid ranger  ZMAX under T-MOBILE in USA this day. This phone is priced at $252 without contract and $10.50 monthly for 24 months with contract and will hit the stores on September 24 at $0 down payment.

EMUI 3.0 to be available for download on September 30

At the IFA Conference in Berlin, Huawei not only launched its newest big-screen flagship phone, the Mate 7, but also its newest OS, the Android 4.4.2-based EMUI 3.0.

The Huawei EMUI 3.0 follows a whole new design. It has a flattened but simple UI that is easy to use. Huawei has also made this OS more interactive.

The EMUI 3.0 will officially be available for download on September 30 when owners of the Honor 6 and P7 can upgrade their OS to it. This OS will later be available for the P6/P6S, Mate 2, and 3X as well.

Lenovo Vibe X2 comes out next Tuesday; uses MTK6595M, has 2GB RAM, and costs 2499 RMB (406.69 USD)

Sources say that the Lenovo Vibe X2, which was launched on September 4, goes on sale on September 22 (next Monday), and that its price is 2499 RMB.

Early this month, the 4G edition of the Smartisan phone received verification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, thus, clearing the way for its release.

 

The 4G edition’s model number is SM705 and its specs are pretty much the same as the regular version. It sports a 5-inch 1080p display screen, uses the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, has 2GB RAM, and 16/32GB ROM. As for internet specifications, it supports GSM/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE networks.

 

According to Luo Yonghao, mass production will start in October. So, it should also come out that month. The 16GB version will cost 3500 RMB (569.45 USD) while the 32GB edition costs 3650 RMB (593.85 USD).

Huawei is one of the leading technological companies from China. The company has shown its immense potential to the world by its modern and technological products. The China based company Huawei has been destined as a safety risk in the US and Australia. Now, the Chinese giant is conducting a recruitment drive in European countries for its research and development division. This news of European recruitment drive has been revealed by the President, French subordinate of the Huawei.

Francois Quentin has told the media that the company is planning to double the workforce in the research and development in the coming two to three years. Currently there are around 800 people working in the research and development division of the Huawei in Europe. France will be the major focus for the recruitment of new staff. Around 200 people will be employed as new staff members. Designers and applied mathematicians will also be the part of this new staff of Huawei. The company has 17 research and development centres in around eight countries of Europe. Germany, Italy and Finland have the research sites of Huawei. The company is supposed to take up 13,000 people by 2017.

Two months back, International Data Corp, has ranked this Chinese giant at number three position in the race of smartphone makers in the world by sales. Samsung of South Korea and USA based Apple were the only names ahead of Huawei.

US and Australia have considered the company as a risk to their security because of the alleged somewhat close links of Huawei to the government of China. But the company completely denies allegations of any such involvements.
