Remember the Galaxy A06 that launched in India last year? Overall, the phone was a solid choice for its price, but there was one big letdown—there was no 5G. Well, it looks like Samsung is listening to its customers. They’re reportedly launching the Galaxy A06 5G in India “soon”.

What’s new in the 5G model?

First off, the display is getting a nice upgrade – 90Hz refresh rate. While the display size and resolution remains the same (6.7″, 720p), the standard 60Hz refresh rate gets an upgrade. That means smoother scrolling compared to the 4G model.

Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a step up from the Helio G85 in the original A06. This should make the phone faster and more efficient, and offer better performance in gaming and multitasking.

The Galaxy A06 5G will run on Android 15-based One UI 7.0. And here’s the best part: it’s promised four OS upgrades and four years of security updates. That’s double the support of the 4G model, making this phone a much better long-term investment. And yes, it’s got 5G!

Other features:

On the camera front, you’re looking at a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, plus an 8MP selfie camera – the same as last year. Storage and RAM options also remains unchanged: 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM.

The phone will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos-enhanced audio, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. It’ll be available in three colors: Blue Black, Light Gray, and Light Green.

The Galaxy A06 5G isn’t just about adding 5G. It’s got a faster processor, a smoother display, and better software support.

ASUS NUC 15 Pro mini PC: A tiny powerhouse with 99 TOPS AI performance

Let’s talk about ASUS’s latest mini PC, the NUC 15 Pro. This little guy is attracting significant attention with its AI performance, which hits as high as 99 TOPS (that’s Tera Operations Per Second). It’s powered by Intel’s latest Arrow Lake-H and Raptor Lake-H/U chips.

Specs and features:

The NUC 15 Pro is no slouch when it comes to specs. The top-tier model uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H CPU, which is paired with up to 96GB of DDR5-6400 memory. That’s enough muscle for multitasking, content creation, and even some serious AI workloads. For storage, you’ve got an M.2 2280 slot and an M.2 2242 slot, which supports up to 4TB SSD.

Although it doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, the integrated Arc 140T iGPU in the high-end model should handle tasks like video editing or casual gaming just fine. But if you’re into heavy gaming or 3D rendering, you might want to look elsewhere.

ASUS didn’t cut corners here. This mini PC comes loaded with ports: dual HDMI 2.0, dual Thunderbolt 4, triple USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2, a USB 2.0, an audio jack, and a 2.5G Ethernet port. Plus, it’s got Bluetooth 5.4 and WiFi 7 for wireless connectivity. This mini PC is ready to work with just about anything you throw at it.

AI performance is where things get really interesting. The Arm-based Snapdragon X Elite offers up to 45 TOPS of AI performance, which is, at least on paper, less than half of what this machine can do. Nonetheless, the user experience still depends on the implementation – taking proper advantage of the hardware.

The NUC 15 Pro comes in two flavors: tall and slim. There’s no difference in performance between the two, so it’s really about which one fits your desk (or your aesthetic) better.

But what about the price?

Here’s the catch—ASUS hasn’t revealed the price yet. Given the specs and features, though, it’s safe to say this mini PC won’t come cheap. But if you’re after a compact powerhouse, the NUC 15 Pro might just be worth the investment.

Nubia Z70 Ultra becomes the first smartphone to feature full-scale DeepSeek AI

Nubia has unveiled the world’s first smartphone to feature full-scale DeepSeek AI integration, setting a new milestone in on-device artificial intelligence. According to the company, their current flagship Nubia Z70 Ultra incorporates the DeepSeek model at a system-wide level, eliminating the need for standalone apps while enabling fluid AI-driven interactions.

Unlike traditional AI assistants that rely on cloud processing or require dedicated applications, DeepSeek’s integration in the Z70 Ultra allows users to access its capabilities instantly.

This includes seamless voice assistant functionality and Nebula AI-powered image recognition, which lets users snap a photo to analyze and solve complex problems in real-time. Nubia has also extended its AI ecosystem beyond smartphones, incorporating real-time activation features in its earbuds to enable continuous conversation support. In addition to the Z70 Ultra, other models will soon receive updates.

Beta Update Rolls Out

Ahead of today’s announcement, Nubia had already begun rolling out a beta update to Z70 Ultra users. The 126MB update enhances DeepSeek integration across both the standard and Starry Sky editions, refining voice assistant capabilities and optimizing Future Mode, which now defaults to enabling Nebula AI.

Additional refinements include adjustments to the search bar’s position, fixes for app search redirections, and improvements to the screen assistant’s UI behavior. The update also resolves memory leaks in the Nebula Gravity system, addressing stability concerns.

DeepSeek Gains Momentum

Nubia isn’t the only brand looking to embed DeepSeek at the core of its devices. Other Chinese manufacturers are reportedly developing similar integrations, while Samsung is rumored to be exploring DeepSeek AI for its Galaxy smartphones in China.

According to leaker Ice Universe, this move could position DeepSeek as a regional alternative to Google’s Gemini AI, enhancing One UI with localized AI-driven features. Beyond functionality, Samsung’s adoption could also help the company navigate China’s regulatory landscape and compete more effectively with AI-heavy rivals like Huawei. While Samsung has yet to confirm its plans, DeepSeek’s growing adoption suggests it could soon become a standard feature in Chinese-market smartphones.

OPPO is set to expand the global availability of its Reno 13 series, following launches in China and India. The global lineup will include the Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro, Reno 13 F, and Reno 13 Pro FS, targeting mid-range to premium markets. Ahead of the official launch, European pricing for these devices has surfaced online.

Per leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore (via MySmartPrice), European pricing starts at €549 for the base Reno 13 5G (12GB+256GB). The Pro model jumps to €799 for 12GB+512GB, while the budget Reno 13 F 5G sits at €379 for 8GB+256GB. The Reno 13 Pro FS 5G, priced at €449, offers 12GB+512GB. Additional RAM/storage variants may follow.

The Reno 13 and Pro models boast aerospace-grade aluminum frames—a first for the segment—and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset. Both feature triple IP66/68/69 ratings for dust/water resistance, 50MP triple rear cameras, a 50MP front shooter, and 5,800mAh batteries with 80W fast charging. A 120Hz Smart Adaptive AMOLED display and ColorOS 15 (Android 15-based) round out the package.

In other news, Oppo has officially announced that the Find N5 will debut within the next two weeks, with a possible launch on Feb. 19–21. The foldable phone is set to be the thinnest yet, measuring under 9.2mm folded and 4.6mm open. It will be the first foldable powered by the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, featuring an 8-inch 2K inner display with minimal crease and a flat outer screen.

Users of devices like the Edge 50 Fusion are reporting recurring crashes of the stock launcher, rendering basic navigation nearly impossible. Reddit user KausHere described the issue as constant crashes, even in safe mode. While some found temporary relief using third-party launchers, others, like Lenovo forum user ShyamG, experienced their devices reverting to the buggy default launcher.

Motorola’s response was swift, with patches released within weeks. However, these fixes haven’t been without consequences. While the ThinkPhone 25’s main screen crashes were resolved, the Razr+ 2023 now suffers from a new issue: its cover screen is crashing, effectively “bricking” it, according to Android Authority. This flaw severely impacts the Razr+’s core functionality as a foldable device.

The glitches undermine Motorola’s recent efforts to shed its reputation for inconsistent support. Prior to the Edge 50 Neo’s five-year pledge, devices like the Razr Plus (2023) languished on outdated security patches for months. Since September, however, the brand has delivered updates punctually across its lineup—a sign of structural improvement.

While Motorola’s quick response to bugs is positive, the flawed fixes threaten to damage user trust. As one Razr+ user commented, updates that introduce new problems are worse than waiting for stable ones.

OnePlus confirms it will not launch Open 2 in 2025

OnePlus today confirmed that it will not release a foldable smartphone in 2025, ending all the speculations that the Oppo Find N5 would arrive globally as the OnePlus Open 2.

In a post on its community forum, the company stated that it has “made the decision not to release a foldable this year.” The announcement comes as a surprise, considering the OnePlus Open was well-received in 2023.

It stood out with a less prominent crease, a refined form factor, and an Open Canvas multitasking interface that was widely appreciated. It also delivered one of the best camera systems in a foldable, all while undercutting competitors like the Galaxy Z Fold and Pixel Fold by at least $300.

Oppo Find N5 ≠ OnePlus Open 2

Oppo recently announced that the Find N5 would be the world’s thinnest book-style foldable. Given that the original OnePlus Open was a rebranded Oppo Find N3, many expected a similar strategy for its successor. However, OnePlus has now made it clear that no such launch is planned for this year.

Despite this, the company insists that it is not stepping away from foldables entirely. “Our decision to pause on foldable for this generation does not signify a departure from the category,” the statement reads.

While this leaves the door open for a future OnePlus foldable, there is no timeline for when that might happen. The company describes this move as a “recalibration,” but it has not provided further details on why the decision was made.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Find N5 is expected to launch globally, including in regions where the OnePlus Open was sold. Unlike previous Oppo foldables, which were largely limited to China, the Find N5 will reach broader markets. OnePlus’s statement could be an effort to prevent its brand from overshadowing Oppo’s latest release.

For existing OnePlus Open users, the company reassures that it will continue support, including “regular software updates, security patches, and exceptional after-sales service.”

Konka has unveiled its latest flagship television, the G9W Mini AI-LED Art Wallpaper TV, designed to deliver high-end visuals and immersive audio while maintaining an ultra-thin, wall-hugging form factor.

At just under 70mm thick, the G9W eliminates the bulk of traditional TVs with an all-in-one flat design that seamlessly integrates with the wall. Unlike most competitors that rely on external control boxes or rear “backpack” protrusions, Konka’s integrated mounting system ensures a clean, minimalist look. Whether turned on or off, the G9W is designed to complement modern interiors with a sleek, frameless aesthetic.

The G9W Mini AI-LED display packs 4K (3840×2160) resolution with high brightness, deep blacks, and vibrant colors. The 65-inch model features 392 local dimming zones, while the 75-inch version pushes that to 512, allowing for more precise light control. With support for 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and AI-powered real-time frame enhancement, the TV aims to deliver cinematic picture quality with lifelike details.

Connectivity is robust, with three HDMI 2.1 ports, USB-A 2.0 and 3.0, an RF input, an AV IN port, an audio output, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. Wireless streaming is supported via Wi-Fi 5, and users can cast screens wirelessly from Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac devices with minimal latency. The multi-screen mode allows content from different sources to be displayed simultaneously.

Despite its high-performance specs, the G9W maintains an energy-efficient Level 1 rating, with a maximum power consumption of 300W. It features an advanced cooling system with a ring-shaped airflow design and ultra-thin heat dissipation plates to keep temperatures in check.

Pricing and Availability

The TV will officially go on sale in China on February 17, with introductory prices of 4,799 yuan ($656) for the 75-inch model and 3,899 yuan ($533) for the 65-inch variant. With national subsidies applied, those prices drop to 3,839 yuan ($525) and 3,119 yuan ($426), respectively.

TCL’s Thunderbird has unveiled a new 24.5-inch monitor, the F6, in the Chinese market. It is priced at 999 yuan ($136) initially and will be available for sale on JD.com starting February 18. Let’s check out its key specs.

This 24.5-inch gaming monitor is built for speed. It features a Fast IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080. Its 300Hz refresh rate makes every frame count in fast-paced action, while the 1ms GTG response time minimizes motion blur and ghosting. It also features Quantum Dot technology, which ensures vibrant, accurate colors, covering 97% of the DCI-P3 gamut and 99% of sRGB for a rich visual experience.

Adaptive sync is fully covered, with support for both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering. HDR 600 certification, combined with a peak brightness of 600 nits, brings deeper contrast and more detail to both bright and shadowy scenes.

Noise finally unveiled its flagship truly wireless earbuds in the Indian market. The brand’s latest hearables arrives with a collaboration with known premium audio products maker, Bose. The Noise Master Buds promise to offer a high end audio experience and strong ANC. So here are all the details.

Noise Master Buds: What makes it special?

After a bunch of teasers, the Noise Master Buds has launched with an attractive and sleek design. It is the first product in the Master series, which also features some premium features like Spatial Audio and 49 decibels of ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). There is also support for transparency mode and The Master Buds houses 12.4mm dynamic drivers that are made from materials like PEEK and Titanium. To ensure a premium audio experience, you also get LHDC codec support.

The earbuds feature an ergonomic in-ear design that includes a stem. It also brings support for dual device connectivity, Google Fast Pairing, and Find My Device. The company announced the Starboy 6 a design that is built to offer comfort and a snug fit. It also features a premium vegan leather finish for the earcups and the headphones weigh just 240 grams. The ergonomic design also includes LED lighting as well. The Nu Republic Starboy 6 houses 40mm neodymium drivers with X-Bass technology for deeper bass. There is also a dual mode dedicated to Music and Gaming.

Realme has just announced the launch date for an upcoming mid range smartphone model in India. The company is set to debut the Realme P3x in the region next week, so here is everything that you need to know.

Realme P3x India Launch Date Finally Revealed

The Chinese brand will be unveiling the Realme P3x on 18th February 2025. In the latest teaser image posters, we finally got an proper look at the device along with some of its design details. The Realme P3x features an ultra slim 7.94mm body and will arrive in three bright colors options. This includes Midnight Blue, Stellar Pink, and Lunar Silver. Looking at the picture, we can see that the device features a triple camera setup on the rear, although the camera details are still at large.

Furthermore, the company also confirmed that the Midnight Blue and Stellar Pink variants will also feature a vegan leather panel on the rear, which adds to its premium feel. Unfortunately, this is all the information that was revealed to us in the teasers and launch date announcement. Back in January 2025, we covered a leak regarding Realme P3x that revealed its storage variants, color options, and certain camera details.

Three color variants are in line with this previous report, which also confirmed three storage configurations as well. The Realme P3x could arrive in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB versions. Thanks to the Camera FV-5 listing, the we know that the rear cameras will offer one camera with a 1.6MP resolution, which could be a 2MP macro shooter. There was no mention of the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) or EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization).

Vivo is gearing up to launch a new mid range smartphone soon from its T series. The company’s Vivo T4x was previously spotted getting certified in India, now, it has been spotted in another leak that confirmed its chipset. So let’s check it out.

The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the Vivo T4x next month. But ahead of the official announcement, a fresh report from MySmartPrice has revealed the upcoming smartphone will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC. This processor apparently acquired a score of over 720,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark. For those unaware, the Vivo T4x is the direct successor to the Vivo T3x that launched back in 2024 with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

So we are getting a decent performance upgrade with the new chipset. Based on what we know so far, the Vivo T4x model will be equipped with a massive 6,500mAh battery pack, which is an upgrade from the 6,000mAh cell on the T3x. We can also expect a fast charging rate of around 44W to match its predecessor. The Vivo T4x will reportedly launch in two color options, namely Marine Blue and Pronto Purple. That’s not all, the Vivo T4x could also come with Dynamic light as well, which is LEDs that light up for notifications.

1. Upgraded Performance and Processor

While Google’s Tensor line of chips isn’t known for its raw performance, these processors are built with AI capabilities in mind. The Tensor G4 SoC is a custom built chipset that powers Google AI on Pixel phones. The company made this processor in collaboration with Samsung, leveraging Google’s in-house blocks for AIm security, and photography. Apart from improvements in performance, there is also a 20 percent increase in power efficiency as well.

2. Enhanced Camera Capabilities

The Tensor G4 isn’t the only aspect that is helping improve the photography experience. Rumors have hinted at the Pixel 9a replacing the Pixel 8a’s 64MP main camera with a new 48MP primary sensor. Its predecessor came with a f/1.9 aperture but the 48MP camera on the Pixel 9a may offer a f/1.7 aperture.

This could be paired with a 13MP ultra wide angle lens. Both lenses will be supported by Google’s computational photography tools like Night Sight and Magic Eraser for improved image quality. Meanwhile, the front houses a 13MP Sony IMX712 sensor for selfies and video calls.

3. Improved Battery Life and Charging Technology

Battery performance is a critical factor for mid-range smartphones, and Google appears to be finally making decent upgrades in this aspect on the Pixel 9a. The older Pixel 8a is powered by a 4492mAh battery pack which was decent but lagged behind the competition. This model also offered only 18W wired fast charging.

However, recent leaks have revealed that the Pixel 9a packs a larger 5,100mAh cell that also has a faster 23W wired fast charging. This marks a notable upgrade from previous generations along with efficient power management. So we expect better battery life from this device.

Google is known for its software innovations and the Pixel 9a is expected to bring the same features as the flagship Pixel 9 series. So the mid range model may introduce smarter notifications, more intuitive voice assistance, and even better integration with Google’s suite of services. Honor is reportedly working on its next-generation Honor 400 series smartphones for China. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, key details regarding the chipsets powering these devices have surfaced online. The leak also sheds light on an upcoming Honor GT Pro model, which is likely to launch later this year.

As per the leak, the Honor 400 is expected to feature Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7750) chipset, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 used in its predecessor. Meanwhile, the Honor 400 Pro is likely to retain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650), similar to the Honor 300 Pro and 300 Ultra. There’s a possibility that the lineup may include the 400 Ultra powered by the same SD8G3 chip.

The leak also states that the entire lineup will come with larger camera sensors for improved photography. While the exact specifications of the cameras remain unknown, earlier leaks suggested that the series may house a 7,000mAh battery for extended battery life. The Honor 400 series is expected to debut in May 2025.

Honor GT Pro details emerge

Honor is also said to be working on a GT Pro model, expected to launch by mid-2025. According to the leak, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is anticipated to offer enhanced performance. Unlike the existing Honor GTh, which features a curved display, the GT Pro will reportedly sport a flat screen. Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s first camera sample released, reveals periscope camera’s low-light photography prowess

Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 15 Ultra by the end of this month. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO, Lei Jun, has shared the first camera sample from the device on Weibo, showcasing its capabilities in low-light conditions. The image suggests significant improvements in night photography, particularly with the periscope telephoto lens.

The shared sample was taken using the 100mm periscope telephoto lens of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and not the primary sensor. Therefore, it appears that it was captured with the rumoured 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope camera.

This sensor, featuring a 1/1.4-inch size, utilizes 4×4 pixel binning technology to enhance low-light performance, allowing detailed and sharp telephoto shots in dark environments. It is also expected to support 4.3x optical zoom and 100x AI-enhanced digital zoom, making it one of the most advanced periscope telephoto cameras in the industry.

Lei Jun previously stated that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra would bring groundbreaking advancements in night photography, suggesting that its periscope camera may set a new standard in low-light telephoto imaging. The sample image appears to confirm these claims, with impressive clarity, controlled noise levels, and well-balanced highlights.

Beyond its camera, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 2K micro-curved display, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and support for satellite communication, with the top variant offering Beidou dual-satellite connectivity.

The 15 Ultra’s camera setup will include a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX858 telephoto lens, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto sensor. It may pack a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

Lei Jun also hinted at a possible price hike due to increasing research and component costs. The previous Xiaomi 14 Ultra launched at 6,499 Yuan (~$890) and given the current trends, the 15 Ultra is expected to be priced higher. Realme GT 7T in works for India, first details emerge

Realme unveiled the Realme Neo 7 equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chip in China in December 2024. Later this month, the brand is expected to unveil the Neo 7 SE with the Dimensity 8400-Max chip onboard for the home market. New developments reveal that Realme is gearing up to announce new performance-driven phones for the Indian market. Apart from the Realme Neo 7, the country is also expected to receive the Realme GT 7T in the near future.

According to 91mobiles, the Realme GT 7T with model number RMX5085 is in the works for the Indian market. The report has revealed a few details about the phone, claiming that it will have an 8GB RAM variant, a blue colour option, NFC support, and Intercom-like capabilities that allow users to send and receive messages between HomePods, HomePod Mini, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and CarPlay.

There is no information about the specifications of the device. Last year, Realme released the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3-powered Realme GT Neo 6 SE and rebranded it as the Realme GT 6T in markets outside of China.

As mentioned above, Realme is expected to launch the Realme Neo 7 SE with the Dimensity 8400-Max chip later this month in China. It remains to be seen whether the GT 7T will be a rebranded version of the Neo 7 SE or if it will pack the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 4 chipset.

It was reported last month that India will soon receive the Realme Neo 7 (model number: RMX5061) in variants, such as 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It is expected to arrive in black and white shades and is expected to pack the same internals as its Chinese variant, which has the RMX5060 model number. The brand is also expected to launch the Realme Buds Air 7 alongside it.

Samsung’s tri-fold and Galaxy Z Fold 7 cover screen size leaks

Samsung confirmed at its Galaxy S25 launch event that it’s working on a tri-fold phone. While it didn’t show off the device, it’s expected to launch sometime in Q3 2025—around the same time as the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 7 / Flip 7.

And as is often the case in the world of smartphones, leaks and rumors are already giving us an early look at what to expect. The latest comes from industry analyst Ross Young, who claims that Samsung’s tri-fold will feature a 6.49-inch cover display.

When fully unfolded, the device is expected to offer a massive 10-inch screen. Interestingly, Young also notes that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature the same 6.49-inch cover display.

That display size is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, suggesting that Samsung is finally moving away from the narrow cover screens it offers on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and earlier models.

But here’s where things get interesting: unlike Huawei’s tri-fold, which bends in an S- or Z-shape and leaves part of the screen exposed, Samsung’s take on the form factor will reportedly use a G-style folding mechanism. This means the display will fold inward on both sides with no screen area exposed. As a result, we can expect better durability of the foldable.

Samsung is also reportedly developing a new type of display and protective film specifically for this device. Given the complexities involved in manufacturing such a foldable, production volumes are expected to be limited. As a result, the device could be positioned as an experimental, high-end offering rather than a mainstream flagship.

The big question is how much will it cost? One thing’s for sure—it won’t be cheap. The Huawei Mate XT launched at nearly $2,800 in China, so we can expect Samsung’s tri-fold to land in a similar price range.
