Huawei launches Watch Ultimate Green Edition with enhanced golf and expedition modes

Huawei has introduced a new Green edition of the Huawei Watch Ultimate, featuring enhanced Advanced Golf Features and an upgraded Expedition Mode for adventurers and professionals.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition

Initially launched last year in Blue and Black, the smartwatch now comes in a third color option with additional features. Alongside this watch, the company has also introduced the Watch GT 5 series.

1. Huawei Watch Ultimate Specifications

The Huawei Watch Ultimate features a robust build with high-end materials, sporting a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution, protected by sapphire glass. It comes with a zirconium-based liquid metal case, the first of its kind for smartwatches, providing durability and corrosion resistance. The watch also features a dual-color nano-tech ceramic bezel, adding to its premium and rugged aesthetic.

The smartwatch is water-resistant up to 10ATM, allowing it to be submerged at depths of up to 100 meters. It also carries ISO 22810 waterproof and EN 13319 diving standards certification, making it ideal for divers. Equipped with a 530mAh battery, it offers up to 14 days of typical use or 8 days with heavy usage. It also supports fast Qi wireless charging, allowing a full recharge in just 60 minutes.

2. Special Features

The new green color edition is complemented by a stylish dual-color woven strap, designed to be antibacterial, splash-resistant, and breathable. The watch also introduces five new pre-set watch faces, including three golf-themed options. With Huawei’s first Global Advanced Golf Course Mode, users can access over 15,000 golf courses worldwide. This feature uses precision dual-frequency GNSS to provide high-accuracy positioning, “plays-like” distance calculations, and intelligent recommendations through the AI Caddie feature.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the enhanced Expedition Mode, which now supports all-color contour maps for offline use and an Expedition Route Import feature for pre-planning routes. Health monitoring also takes a central role, with features like ECG analysis, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, and skin temperature measurement.

3. Pricing & Availability

The Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition is priced at £749.99 and is available internationally, including in the UK and Europe, from September 19, 2024.

Huawei Watch GT 5 series official with new TruSense health-tracking system, up to 14 days battery life

Huawei‘s wearable lineup gets an upgrade with the introduction of the Watch GT 5 Series. This time around, Huawei is offering two variants of the smartwatch — the standard Watch GT 5 and the feature-packed Watch GT 5 Pro, both of which are available in 42mm and 46mm sizes.

Sticking to the formula that made the GT line popular, the new watches maintain a focus on aesthetics and long battery life, but now offer even better health and fitness tracking thanks to the company’s new TruSense system. Let’s dive into the details here.

Design

Let’s talk looks first. The Watch GT 5 series has a familiar circular dial with a sharp-edged design. The vanilla model uses stainless steel for its body, while the Pro model is constructed with more premium materials like aerospace-grade titanium alloy and nanocrystal ceramic.

Design-wise, however, there’s not much of a difference from the predecessor. The real upgrade for the Watch GT 5 Series is its health and fitness tracking capabilities. The wearable brings Huawei’s all-new TruSense System with upgraded sensors and algorithms.

The system combines data from sensors for respiratory rate, SpO2 (blood oxygen levels), body temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate and is claimed to offer faster, more accurate, and more comprehensive results.

Standard vs. Pro: Feature Breakdown

While both models share the core TruSense System, the Pro variant takes things a step further. It boasts an ECG analysis feature, allowing users to capture their ECG waveforms with a simple button press.

For fitness enthusiasts too, the Pro model truly shines. It offers dedicated features for activities like trail running and freediving.

Trail runners get access to segment-based navigation, off-course alerts, and detailed topographical maps right on their wrists. Freedivers, on the other hand, benefit from water resistance up to 40 meters, along with depth tracking and reminders.

Golfers aren’t left out either. The GT 5 Pro offers a 3D view of course maps for over 15,000 courses worldwide. Additionally, you also get a range of analytical tools that can help you improve your swing and track shot distances.

The standard Watch GT 5 focuses on core fitness tracking features, such as running form analysis, catering to a wider audience. However, both models offer over 100 sports modes, allowing you to track your progress no matter what activity you choose.

As for the battery life, the Huawei Watch GT 5 and GT 5 Pro 46mm offers 14 days of run time while the 41mm Watch GT 5 and GT 5 Pro have a claimed battery life of 7 days. All models are compatible with both Android and iOS, and they support Bluetooth calling.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Series Price and Availability

Pricing starts at £229.99 for the Watch GT 5 and bumps up to £329.99 for the Pro model. Pre-orders for the wearable start from today until October 22nd  and those who pre-order can snag a free pair of Huawei FreeBuds 5i earbuds.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Series users also get a complimentary 3-month membership to Huawei Health+. The platform provides access to a range of fitness resources, including workout routines for all levels, guided meditations, and personalized fitness plans.

iMessage on iOS 18 Keeps Crashing Due to a Bug: What You Shouldn’t Do

Apple announced iOS 18 back in Jun this year, which finally started rolling out a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, people are still reporting bugs in the update, one of which is related to the iMessage app. The bug is causing the app to crash and a data loss. Notably, the bug affects both of the users.

Apple Watch has a feature that lets users easily share their watch face over Messages or Mail directly from watchOS. This is meant to make it possible to share personalized watch face configurations. The bug in iMessage triggers when someone replies to a shared watch face in a thread in iMessage in iOS 18.

The app crashes if the user tries to open the conversation. Interacting with other chats may also become difficult as it starts crashing repeatedly. If the user responds in a thread to the shared watch face, Messages will crash on iOS 18.1 beta, iPadOS 18.1 beta, and macOS 15.1 beta as well.

There’s a fix

Both users can delete the conversation thread from their phones. Users should keep in mind that the solution, for now, results in the entire conversation history getting deleted. It also reportedly deletes attachments like photos and videos that you haven’t saved outside of iMessage.

An attempt to restore the deleted thread from the recently deleted section in the app also restores the bug.

We hope the company patches this bug out of iOS, macOS, and watchOS as soon as possible. Unless Apple rolls out the fix, users are advised to avoid replying to a threaded message if someone shares a watch face with you from Apple Watch.

Galaxy S24 FE’s official cases revealed in a new leak

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 FE sometime in October this year with a cut down version of the S24’s Exynos 2400 chipset. Now high-definition renderings of the phone’s official protective cases have emerged with different color options, showcasing a familiar back design. According to the leak there will be four types of cases – Silicone Case, Standing Grip Case, Smart View Wallet Case, and Flipsuit Case.

To begin with, the Silicone Case is the standard one, which comes in Blue, Gray, Green, White, Yellow colors. Notably, this is going to be a soft-touch case, which is generally preferred by most people.

The second one is the Standing Grip Case, which also has a strap on the back for for a good grip. Aside from the strap, this has a very similar build as compared to the standard cases.

The third one, called the Smart View Wallet Case, also equips a screen protector. A good thing about this case is that it comes with a window in the top-right corner, though which you will be able to see the date and time quickly without having to move the cover. There’s also a section on the inside of the screen protector, which serves as a wallet.

The last one is special as it synchronizes with your phone, and can change its look based on that using your phone’s battery. Notably this isn’t new and we have seen it with some of Samsung’s recent flip phones and the Galaxy S24 series.

Aside from the protective cases, the leak also includes images of a, Anti-Reflecting Film screen protector for the Galaxy S24 FE. This screen protector doubles as a layer on top of the display that fights reflections. For those interested, the pricing of the phone has also been revealed in a previous leak.

Vivo X200 Mini camera spec leaks, to include a mysterious Sony IMX06C main sensor

Vivo has scheduled a launch event on October 14th for the X200 series. This year’s lineup is expected to include a new compact model, likely named the Vivo X200 Mini. A reliable tipster has now revealed details about the phone’s camera specs.

According to insider Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Vivo X200 Mini might pack a triple-camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel main camera.

This primary module reportedly uses a Sony IMX06C sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch size and a wide f/1.57 aperture. It appears to be a new image sensor from Sony as there are little to no details available about it. It could be making its debut with the Vivo X200 series.

Backing it up is a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens for capturing large landscapes or group photos. And we are likely to get a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope sensor with a 70mm focal length and an f/2.57 aperture for zoom shots.

DCS suggests the telephoto module should offer up to 10x hybrid zoom and also macro capabilities.

Aside from this, previous leaks reveal that the X200 Mini will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, the same as the X200 and X200 Pro. Fueling the device could be a silicon battery with 5500mAh or 5600mAh capacity. Leaks suggest it will also have support for wireless charging.

On the front, we might see a 6.3-inch display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

However, an earlier report suggests that the Vivo X200 Mini may have a few shortcomings compared to its predecessor. Specifically, it might use a short-focus optical fingerprint sensor instead of an ultrasonic one, which may not be as advanced as those found in some competing devices.

Nonetheless, we are expecting it to be a more affordable model in line, so if Vivo prices the device rightly, it shouldn’t be as big of a deal.

Tecno Spark Go 1 hands-on review: An entry-level phone full of surprises at Rs 7,300

New budget-friendly 5G phones in India start at around Rs 10,000. While there are many good entry-level 5G phones available across different brands, some people may still opt for 4G phones due to various factors such as budget constraints, patchy 5G coverage in their area, or simply because they have reliable 4G connectivity and don’t see an immediate need to upgrade. Others might view a 4G phone as a temporary solution until 5G networks become more widespread and reliable. For those considering a 4G phone, Tecno has announced the Tecno Spark Go 1. While it is an entry-level 4G phone, it packs some specifications that may surprise many, making it a compelling option for budget-conscious consumers.

1. Design and Build

Tecno Spark Go 1 (rear, front)

The Tecno Spark Go 1 makes a strong first impression with its sleek design and vibrant display. On the front, it has a punch-hole display with a chunky bottom bezel, and its back panel has a camera module housing a single camera, an LED flash, and an IR blaster (which mimics a camera sensor). The top bezel houses an LED flash, which can be used for the front camera and also lights up for notifications.

The top and bottom edges have speakers for stereo output. The top lacks a secondary microphone, while the bottom edge also features a primary microphone, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the left is a SIM card slot, and the right edge has a volume rocker and a power button, which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.

Available in Startrail Black, Glittery White, and Lime Green, the Spark Go 1’s build is both stylish and functional. It measures 8.35mm (or 8.55mm for the leather variant) in thickness and weighs 189 grams, making it comfortable to hold and use. As can be seen, I am provided with a white variant of the device. Its retail package includes the Spark Go 1 unit, a case, an 18W charger, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and some paperwork.

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

2. Display and Audio

Tecno Spark Go 1’s display

One of the highlights of the Spark Go 1 is its segment-first display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 6.67-inch HD+ LCD panel offers a brightness of 480 nits, which is good enough for indoor use but may struggle in brighter conditions outside. The phone offers 60Hz (constant) and 120Hz (auto-switch) refresh rate options. While the screen offers Eye Care mode, there is no option to modify the color scheme on the device.

There’s Widevine L1 support for viewing HD streaming content. The device also features DTS dual stereo speakers that enhance the entertainment experience with rich and immersive sound.

3. Performance and Software

Tecno Spark Go 1 benchmarks

Under the hood, the Tecno Spark Go 1 is powered by a Unisoc T615 processor. The phone offers 8GB of RAM, which consists of 4GB of LPDDR4x physical RAM and up to 4GB of virtual RAM. For storage, it offers 64GB of eMMC 5.1 and a dedicated microSD card slot.

The phone runs on Android 14 Go, based on HiOS 14. This operating system is designed to be lightweight and responsive, providing a streamlined and user-friendly interface. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.

Tecno claims that the Spark Go 1 offers up to 4+ years of lag-free performance. While this promise of long-term value is appealing, it remains to be seen how well the device will hold up in real-world use. Shown above is how the device performed on AnTuTu, Geekbench, and CPU Throttle benchmarking apps.

4. Cameras and Other Features

1x

The Tecno Spark Go 1 has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera includes multiple shooting modes such as AI Cam, Beauty Mode, Portrait, Time-Lapse, Dual Video, Super Night, Panorama, Pro Mode, AR Shot, Short Video, and 1080P video recording.

The front camera, equipped with dual-color temperature flash, is well-suited for selfies and video calls, offering modes like AI Cam, Beauty Mode, Portrait, and 1080P video recording.

The in-built infrared remote-control sensor is another notable feature of the Spark Go 1, enabling users to control various home gadgets directly from their phone. Additionally, the phone includes AI Active Noise Cancellation, which improves call quality in noisy environments.

5. Final Thoughts

Tecno Spark Go 1

Usually, entry-level smartphones priced around Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000 struggle to offer smooth performance. However, the Spark Go 1 is a good effort from Tecno, focusing on smooth performance at such a low price with features like a 120Hz display, 8GB of RAM, and a toned-down version of Android (which is nothing unusual for such a priced phone). In addition, the inclusion of a side-facing fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and dual speakers are welcome additions to the device. Overall, the Tecno Spark Go 1 offers excellent value for money, with a robust feature set that caters to the needs of everyday users.

The Spark Go 1 is available via Amazon for Rs 7,299 (~$88). It comes in three colors: Lime Green, Glittery White, and Startrail Black.

Google updates Chrome with 3 new features, including auto sync of tabs across devices

Google has unveiled a suite of updates for its ubiquitous Chrome browser, targeting both individual users and businesses. The focus lies on enhancing ease of use and streamlining workflows across desktops, Android, and iOS devices.

One key feature receiving an upgrade is Chrome’s tab grouping functionality. Previously, users could manually save and sync these groups across devices. Now, Google lets you enable automatic syncing – regardless of whether you’re using a desktop computer, Android phone, or iPhone.

This seamless transition eliminates the hassle of manual saves, ensuring your research projects, shopping sprees, or open articles seamlessly follow you between devices. So if you’re exploring a topic on your laptop, you can later pick up your phone and continue exactly where you left off, with all relevant tabs ready.

Google is also currently testing a new feature that intelligently suggests web pages you might want to revisit. Essentially, Chrome analyzes tabs you’ve opened on one device and prompts you to open similar websites on your other devices.

For instance, Chrome might suggest opening the same news website you were reading on your work computer on your phone’s new tab. It’s for users who juggle between multiple devices throughout the day. No more bookmarking or frantically searching your history – simply rely on Chrome’s suggested revisit prompts to pick up where you left off.

It will enable employees to quickly check schedules or access virtual meetings without needing to launch the full Calendar app. According to Google, this feature will be gradually rolled out for Workspace users.

All in all, the new update adds some quality-of-life features to Chrome for bother personal and professional users.

Garmin’s inReach Messenger Plus adds photo and audio messaging for a steep price hike

Garmin introduced the inReach Messenger, a satellite communicator with two-way texting and SOS support, in 2022 to keep you connected when there’s no cellphone coverage.

The company has now refreshed the device, renaming it the inReach Messenger Plus. This version still has text-only features but now also allows you to send photos and voice messages via satellite.

Garmin inReach Messenger Plus specs launch price

The upgrade comes at a cost, though. While the original Messenger sits comfortably at $299.99, the Plus jumps to $499.99 – and that doesn’t include the satellite subscription you’ll need to use it.  Subscription plans range from $11.95 to $49.95 per month, with even higher options for professionals and larger groups.

Here’s what the Garmin inReach Messenger Plus has to offer.

Garmin inReach Messenger Plus Specifications

While several smartphones from Apple and Google now offer basic emergency satellite connectivity, the inReach Messenger Plus prioritizes reliable two-way communication beyond cellular coverage. The device allows users to share location updates, download weather forecasts, and send messages with loved ones, even in remote locations.

The addition of photo and audio messaging offers a potential advantage in emergency situations. Sharing pictures of injuries or equipment failures can provide valuable information to search and rescue teams, leading to a quicker and more targeted response.

For enhanced safety, the inReach Messenger Plus features a dedicated SOS button, connecting users directly to Garmin’s 24/7 emergency coordination center. This service automatically transmits location data, streamlining the rescue process.

Another key benefit is battery life. Garmin claims the inReach Messenger Plus can operate for up to 600 hours on a single charge when sending texts or location updates every 10 minutes. Sending multimedia messages reduces battery life to approximately 250 photos or audio clips per charge.

The inReach Messenger Plus caters to a niche audience, such as mountaineers or frequent travelers. It’s not something a regular user might choose, but for those who need it, we can see the benefits of owning it, especially because of the extended battery life it offers.

Both the Nova 13 and Mate 70 series are rumored to be powered by next-generation Kirin chipsets, the 9010 for the Nova and the 9100 for the Mate. Huawei has already confirmed that the Mate 70 series will be the first to boast the brand new HarmonyOS NEXT operating system.

Finally, the leak hints that November could also be the launch month for the successor to the Mate X5 foldable. The Mate X6 is said to sport an even larger cover screen than its predecessor, making it a true phone replacement when unfolded. It’s also likely to inherit the Mate 70 series’ rumored Kirin 9100 chip and run on HarmonyOS NEXT.

It’s important to remember these are tentative launch windows. While Digital Chat Station has a decent track record, official confirmation from Huawei is always the gold standard. However, it’s clear the company has plenty in store for its audience.

We can expect more information to trickle out as we inch closer to the rumored launch dates. Stay tuned, as we’ll keep you updated on any official announcements or further leaks.

Huawei’s tri-fold price skyrockets to $10000+ amid limited supply

Huawei’s new tri-fold, the Mate XT Ultimate, has caused quite a stir both in China and globally. Although it’s currently only available in its home market, getting one there is proving to be extremely difficult.

Since its launch earlier this month, demand for the foldable has skyrocketed, with reports now suggesting that scalpers in China are marking up prices by a huge 200-300%.

Huawei officially priced the 256GB Mate XT at 19,999 yuan (about $2,800), but folks in Shenzhen’s Huaqiangbei, the world’s biggest electronics bazaar, are listing the phone for a whopping 60,000 to 70,000 yuan ($8,400-$9,800).

Lin Shen, a second-hand smartphone dealer in the district, said to the South China Morning Post (SCMP), that the “prices at still unstable,” with most interest coming from scalpers looking to capitalize on the limited supply.

Another Huaqiangbei dealer cautiously admitted that his final resale price will depend on whether he can secure a unit on launch day. Online marketplaces are also witnessing similar price gouging.

On Xianyu, Alibaba’s online flea market, prices for the Mate XT are fluctuating wildly, ranging from 30,000 yuan to a mind-boggling 100,000 yuan ($4,200 -$14,000), with many sellers promising same-day delivery.

This skyrocketing price tag comes as no surprise. Huawei’s Mate XT, touted as the world’s first commercially available tri-fold phone, has already racked up over 6.3 million reservations on their Vmall platform. However, these pre-orders don’t guarantee immediate purchase, leaving many scrambling for alternatives.

Huawei Mate XT Tri-fold launched

The inflated prices on the grey market suggest Huawei may have successfully stolen Apple’s thunder in China. While Huawei’s foldable sees prices soar, retailers across China have reportedly already slashed prices on the new iPhone 16 series ahead of its official release this Friday.

According to SCMP, the Chinese e-commerce platform Pinduoduo is selling the 512GB iPhone 16 Plus for 8,999 yuan, a 10% discount from its official price of 9,999 yuan. The 128GB iPhone 16 is available at an even steeper 11% discount.

Who Should Upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro and Who Shouldn’t?

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have been officially unveiled as the successors to last year’s iPhone 15 Pro models, boasting a refreshed titanium design, a more powerful A18 Pro chip, and enhanced camera features.

But is the upgrade worth it? In this article, we’ll take a closer look at who should consider upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro, especially for those evaluating whether the changes truly justify the cost.

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max

1. Who Should Upgrade?

If you’re using an iPhone 12 Pro or older, this could be the right time to make a move. The iPhone 16 Pro offers notable advancements in several areas, making it a worthwhile upgrade. The larger 6.3-inch display (up from the 6.1-inch display on the iPhone 14 Pro) provides a more immersive experience, while the 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate continues to ensure smooth performance.

One of the standout features for users of these older models is the new A18 Pro chipset. The performance cores and efficiency cores are up to 15% faster than the previous A17 Pro, and the Neural Engine is twice as fast for machine learning tasks. For those heavily engaged in productivity, gaming, or video editing, the improved processing power and power efficiency will make a noticeable difference.

2. Photography Enthusiasts

If you’re a photography enthusiast or professional, the iPhone 16 Pro’s camera system is a huge selling point. Apple’s new 48MP fusion camera features a second-generation quad-pixel sensor, which drastically improves the detail and quality of both ProRAW and HEIF photos. The addition of 4K video recording at 120fps is another game-changer, especially for those who like shooting in slo-mo or at higher frame rates.

The new 5x telephoto camera, now available on both the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, offers versatility in zooming, allowing for more detailed distant shots without losing clarity. The revamped Camera Control button lets you slide between lenses seamlessly, making it easier to capture the perfect shot. Future software updates will enable half-press functionality, giving users the ability to lock focus and exposure. If you’re someone who values detailed control over your camera settings and photo quality, the iPhone 16 Pro’s camera upgrades alone make it worth the upgrade.

3. Heavy Content Consumers

For those who spend hours watching content or gaming, the iPhone 16 Pro’s 6.3-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display is a dream come true. The larger screen offers better immersion, while the 120Hz adaptive refresh rate ensures buttery-smooth animations and transitions. The HDR, True Tone, and Dynamic Island features provide vibrant and rich visuals, perfect for everything from streaming movies to playing graphically intensive games.

Moreover, the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s massive 6.9-inch display is the largest ever on an iPhone, providing an even better visual experience. If you value having the best possible display for your media consumption, then the iPhone 16 Pro series is a great option to go for.

4. Gamers

Gamers looking for a mobile device that can handle even the most demanding games will find a lot to love in the iPhone 16 Pro. The A18 Pro chip, featuring a 6-core GPU that is up to 20% faster than the A17 Pro, delivers incredible performance. With support for high-frame-rate games, ray tracing, and enhanced machine-learning tasks, the iPhone 16 Pro is designed to tackle the most resource-intensive mobile games with ease.

The iPhone 16 Pro also introduces a graphene thermal system, significantly improving heat management and preventing overheating during high-performance tasks. This upgrade enhances both performance and device longevity by efficiently dissipating heat.

Battery optimizations also allow for extended gaming sessions without draining the battery too quickly. The larger battery in the iPhone 16 Pro Max offers the longest battery life of any iPhone yet, ensuring you can game, stream, and use your device all day without worrying about running out of juice.

5. Who Should Hold Off on the Upgrade?

While the iPhone 16 Pro is an impressive device, it might not be a necessary upgrade for everyone. If you currently own an iPhone 15 Pro or an iPhone 14 Pro, the improvements in the iPhone 16 Pro are more incremental than transformative. The design and features remain similar, and many of the software enhancements (like the Apple Intelligence feature) will also be available on the iPhone 15 Pro. However, you may consider upgrading from iPhone 13 Pro if there’s any good deal.

Additionally, if you’re not heavily invested in mobile photography, content creation, or gaming, you may not fully utilize the iPhone 16 Pro’s advanced capabilities. In this case, holding off on upgrading could save you a significant amount of money, especially with the starting price of $999 in the US and Rs. 1,19,900 in India for the base iPhone 16 Pro model.

This all-big-core structure aims to deliver a significant performance boost over its predecessor, the Dimensity 9300, with reports suggesting up to 40% better performance and 35% more efficiency.

The Find X8 Ultra will likely be the most powerful variant, making it a top choice for power users and mobile gamers. Both the Find X8 and X8 Pro will also feature up to 16GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient performance in demanding apps.

4. Cameras

Oppo has built a reputation for its camera technology, and the Find X8 series is expected to elevate this even further. The Find X8 is rumored to feature a versatile triple-camera system, including a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens.

The Find X8 Pro will likely carry similar camera specifications but could offer enhanced optical zoom or better low-light capabilities. Meanwhile, the Ultra model, with its larger form factor, may boast additional camera enhancements, such as advanced AI-based photography features, to further refine image quality.

5. Launch Timeline

The Oppo Find X8 series is expected to launch in stages, with the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Pro Satellite Communication Version likely debuting in October 2024. The Find X8 Ultra, however, is anticipated to launch in early 2025, possibly in January. These staggered releases are aimed at maximizing the excitement and attention across different consumer segments.
