Ferrari’s First Electric Car will have a Huge Price Tag and a 2025 Release

Ferrari is tight-lipped about its first electric car, but here’s what we know: expect a hefty price tag (around $537,000), a late 2025 release (deliveries might stretch to 2026), and limited production to keep things exclusive. A second electric Ferrari is already rumored to be in the works.

Ferrari’s new plant also hints at an increase in production capacity

The focus remains on maintaining the brand’s identity even in the electric era. Ferrari promises an “authentic sound” for the EV and aims to limit the impact on its signature exclusivity. Production numbers are expected to be capped around 20,000 annually, and electric vehicles are projected to make up 5% of Ferrari’s sales by 2026, rising to 40% by 2030.

This shift towards electrification comes alongside the opening of a new factory in Maranello. While the Purosangue SUV has been a success, Ferrari is careful not to become solely an SUV brand. This new plant hints at an increase in production capacity, with the highly anticipated hypercar expected to be revealed later this year. The future for Ferrari seems to be a balance between tradition and innovation, with both the roaring V12 and the silent electric engine having a place in the lineup.

More Leaked Renders for Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Surface via Korean Retailer

Leaked renders, reportedly from a Korean retailer, have surfaced online, offering another glimpse at Samsung‘s next generation Galaxy Buds. These renders depict earbuds with a design language that marks a departure from Samsung’s past offerings, such as the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and FE, which featured a rounder, stemless design.

Samsung has incorporated a metallic silver color scheme this time

The leaked images showcase buds with stems, vents, and even a charging case reminiscent of AirPods. This lines up with the previous leak that popped up, with the image of the retail box of the earbuds. While the overall design borrows inspiration from Apple, Samsung incorporates a metallic silver color scheme and slightly sharper angles to distinguish its earbuds.

The leak suggests Samsung is developing two versions of the Galaxy Buds 3: a standard model and a Pro variant. Both are expected to adopt the new stem-based design. The company traditionally unveils new products during its summer Unpacked events. While an official announcement date remains unknown, these leaks hint that the Galaxy Buds 3 might be showcased at the upcoming event.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Galaxy Z Flip 6 dummy photos leaked

Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 dummy images leaked. Thanks to 9to5Google’s collaboration with Sonny Dickson, we now have more photos of these devices. The foldable devices will be officially unveiled in Paris on July 10. A few weeks before the unveiling, prototype and dummy photos of the devices leaked, giving us important information about the devices.

The devices shown in the photos are prototypes or “dummy” models, indicating they will undergo extensive changes during the design process. These images might be showcasing a display with a more pronounced seam than what the final version will have, or they might use an older display just to highlight the phones’ silhouette and overall design. However, users are hopeful for a less prominent crease when the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip are fully opened to 180 degrees.

Additionally, the photos display a black prototype variant with “Samsung” roughly stamped on the hinges. This could mean Samsung is considering replacing the etched logo seen on previous Fold and Flip models with a stamped logo, as seen here. The etched logo is generally preferred, as it adds a touch of sophistication to these $2,000 devices.

Another small detail to note is the possible flare in the hinge protection plate at the top and bottom of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This is somewhat challenging to confirm, and the lighting in the images might be misleading, but it looks like the hinge extends a few millimeters further from the main phone panels at the ends compared to the middle, where the Samsung logo is situated. There is no such visible detail for the Flip 6.

Despite these minor observations, Samsung’s design improvements are evident in these prototype units. Both phones appear to have a smaller bezel around the internal display, and their overall footprint looks slightly more refined compared to last year’s models.

Xiaomi 14T series could offer incredible improvements in camera

The Xiaomi 14T series is already in development. We have reported that the new smartphones have been spotted in the IMEI database. Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro will be officially sold in the global market. These devices will not only be available in India. Today Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun asked a question about what to expect from the next T-series devices. With this, some things come to mind: Might the Xiaomi 14T series be more advanced in terms of camera compared to the Xiaomi 13T series? This is still a closely guarded secret.

Xiaomi CEO’s first official post about the Xiaomi 14T series

Some features of the new Xiaomi 14T series have already been leaked. The powerful Dimensity 9300 SOC will be at the heart of the Xiaomi 14T Pro. At the same time, the Xiaomi 14T Pro is the first T series device with wireless charging support. Also, the Xiaomi 14T series can scare rival brands in mobile photography. Lei Jun shared some photos taken with the previous 13T Pro on his X account and asked what to expect about the Xiaomi 14T series.

Xiaomi has been focusing a lot on the camera since the Xiaomi 12T series. Xiaomi 12T Pro’s 200MP HP1 sensor attracted attention. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13T series offered us Leica-supported 50MP Sony IMX sensors and had an impressive camera performance. With this post, Lei Jun may have wanted to share that the Xiaomi 14T series will push the limits in mobile photography.

Of course, it’s better to wait for new devices. Since we don’t have a Xiaomi 14T smartphone in our hands yet, we can’t say anything definitive. All we know is that the Xiaomi 14T Pro will have a telephoto camera and the Chinese version of the device, the Redmi K70 Ultra, will have a macro camera (instead of a telephoto camera).

Samsung Unveils New 34-Inch Odyssey OLED G8 Monitor in France with 175Hz Refresh Rate, Priced at 1068 Euros (8,341 Yuan)

Samsung is expanding its Odyssey OLED G8 monitor lineup with the introduction of a new 34-inch model in France. This follows the launch of the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 earlier this year.

The new model is likely to have Samsung’s latest QD-OLED panel tech

The new monitor, model number LS34DG850 (also known as G85SD), is now available on SHI France with a price tag of 1068 euros (approximately 8,341 yuan). The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is listed as 1,299 euros (approximately 10,145 yuan). While detailed specifications haven’t been revealed yet, the product listing confirms a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 and a refresh rate of 175Hz.

Samsung is likely equipping this new model with their latest generation QD-OLED panel technology. Compared to the first generation, these panels offer several potential improvements:

  • A different pixel structure for enhanced display quality
  • “Ultra-efficient EL” technology for increased brightness and lower power consumption
  • IntelliSense AI 2.0 technology to further reduce the risk of burn-in
Samsung Odyssey G8

While not featured in this specific model, third-generation QD-OLED panels introduce “quantum enhancement” technology for even better burn-in resistance and improved energy efficiency through AI algorithms. Additionally, they utilize a “micro-dot inkjet process” allowing for higher pixel density, enabling 4K resolution in a 32-inch display.

Based on the presumed panel technology, the new 34-inch Odyssey OLED G8 can be expected to offer superior picture quality, increased brightness, reduced power consumption, and enhanced durability compared to the original 2023 model.
