Galaxy Watch Ultra will be introduced with a modern and different design compared to previously released Galaxy Watches. Samsung has managed to give the watch a squarish look while maintaining the beloved circular design language of the Galaxy Watch series. The newly emerged render images show the watch in silver and black colors. A new side of the Watch Ultra, compared to previously released Galaxy Watches, is the addition of a third button on the side of the watch. It’s colored in orange, just like on Apple Watch Ultras.

Galaxy Watch Ultra shares the same screen size as the previously released Galaxy Watch6 Classic. While the screen size isn’t larger, there is a significant difference in size between the two watches. The Watch Ultra is much thicker. The dimensions of the Galaxy Watch6 Classic are 46.5 x 46.5 x 10.9 mm, whereas the Watch Ultra measures 47 x 47.4 x 16.4 mm. Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 12 series globally on June 18 — this Tuesday. The lineup will include the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, but there are also rumors of a third smartphone in the mix.

It is expected to be the Reno 12F, but an exclusive report by Spill Some Beans has now revealed that it will actually be the Oppo Reno 12 FS 5G. The publication has shared the design and full specs of the phone ahead of the launch.

So the Reno 12 FS 5G will feature a different camera design compared to the standard Reno 12 and Pro models. Its back will have a circular camera island dubbed the “Cosmo Ring Design,” with a Halo Light that can be set to eight different colors for important notifications and alerts.

The front of the device will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED (2.5D) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits brightness. It also has 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and AGC DT-Star2 protection.

The Reno 12 FS will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For photography, the phone will have a 50MP OmniVision OVD50D primary camera, an 8MP IMX355 ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. A 32MP front camera will be housed in a punch-hole cutout for selfies. Keeping all this powered will be a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC charging.

Ahead of its expected launch on June 18, the OPPO Reno 12F 5G has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. The listing sheds light on some of the core specifications users can expect from the upcoming smartphone.

The Geekbench listing shows the OPPO Reno 12F 5G model number as CPH2637, which coincides with an earlier TDRA certification. The benchmark results show scores of 677 and 1415 in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 12F 5G is expected to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor based on the listing’s details.

The processor features an octa-core configuration with two high-performance cores clocked at 2.40 GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The listing also reveals the presence of a Mali-G57 GPU for graphics processing.

The Geekbench data further confirms 8GB of RAM for the OPPO Reno 12F 5G. The phone is likely to run on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box.

Prior to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Reno 12F received TUV Rheinland certification, hinting at a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.

While the launch of the standard OnePlus Pad 2 seems to be on hold, the company is believed to be working on another high-end tablet. Evidence for this comes from a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, who revealed on the Chinese social media platform Weibo that OnePlus may soon launch a Pro tablet called the OnePlus Pad Pro.

Fueling these rumors, a OnePlus-branded keyboard and stylus accessory have appeared on the FCC certification database. According to the Chinese publication ITHome, these accessories are meant to go with the upcoming Pad Pro.

Last month, Honor unveiled the Honor 200 series of smartphones in China, and it will announce the Magic V Flip earlier this month. The brand is expected to take off covers from the Magic V3 in the coming month. It seems that the brand is also working on the Honor X60 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. An alleged device belonging to the X60 family bearing the LYN-AN00 has been discovered in China’s TENAA certification platform database. The device will likely be called the Honor X60i when it arrives on the market.

Xiaomi’s upcoming smartwatch confirmed to get the much-needed battery upgrade

A new Xiaomi smartwatch with the model number M2312W1 has appeared in China’s network certification filing, TAF. The listing includes an image of the wearable and some key specifications.

Design-wise, the M2312W1 resembles the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, featuring a round watch face and a rotating crown on the side.

The standout feature of the M2312W1, as revealed by the TAF filing, is its support for eSIM functionality. It will allow the watch to connect to cellular networks independently, enabling calls and texts without needing a connected smartphone. The certification also confirms compatibility with China Mobile and China Unicom, two major Chinese network operators.

The listing also reveals that the smartwatch will have a battery capacity of 586mAh, surpassing both the Xiaomi Watch S3 (486mAh) and the Watch 2 Pro (495mAh), suggesting longer usage time on a single charge.

iQOO unveiled the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro in November last year in China. The standard model made it to the global market in December. Reports have already revealed that the upcoming iQOO 13 will be a significant upgrade over its predecessor. iQOO 13. vivo V40 shares identical specs with the vivo S19 available in China. Both phones support 80W charging, but the Chinese variant includes the charger, while the global variant does not. Additionally, the base variant of the global version doesn’t include a case (8GB+256GB), whereas the 12GB+512GB model does. It’s worth noting that the global variant has a 500 mAh lower battery capacity compared to the Chinese variant.

vivo V40 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and it comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage unit. It is available in two configurations: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB.

The phone features a 6.78-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260). It is available in two colors: Stella Silver and Nebula Purple. The dual-camera setup includes a 50MP f/1.9 main camera and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera.

Jabra has announced it will stop making its Elite line of consumer earbuds to concentrate on expanding its range of professional audio, video, and hearing products. This shift comes right after the company introduced the Elite 10 and Elite 8 Gen 2 earbuds.

Despite the phase-out, Jabra assures customers that the new Elite 10 and Elite 8 Gen 2 will be available and supported as usual. Here are all the details of these newly launched earbuds.

Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2:

The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 offers several key features, including an LE Audio smart case. For those unaware, this tech grants the case the ability to act as a wireless audio transmitter. This means the case can connect to devices that don’t have Bluetooth built-in, like airplanes entertainment systems, or gym equipment, using a cable with a 3.5mm jack or USB-C connector, and then transmit the audio to your earbuds via LE Audio.

This model has improved Spatial Sound with Dolby Head Tracking for a better Dolby Atmos experience. The Jabra Advanced Active Noise Cancellation is now up to twice as strong as the previous Elite 10.

Call quality is also improved with six microphones and effective noise-reduction algorithms. The new Natural HearThrough feature with better wind-noise detection is twice as effective as before. These earbuds have 10mm drivers and a semi-open design with Jabra ComfortFit technology. They offer up to 6 hours of battery life (27 hours with the case) with ANC on and have an IP57 rating for splash and dust resistance.

Other features include Bluetooth multipoint connection, Fast Pair, Swift Pair, and Spotify Tap playback. The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 is priced at $280 and will be available in mid-June in titanium black, gloss black, cocoa, and two new colors: denim and soft white.

Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2:

The Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2 also has several updates, including an LE Audio smart case for streaming sound from non-Bluetooth equipment. It features improved Spatial Sound powered by Dolby Audio and Adaptive Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, which is now up to twice as strong as the previous Elite 8 Active.

The Natural HearThrough feature has better wind-noise detection and is twice as effective as before. Call performance is improved with six microphones, wind-protecting mesh, and a noise-cancellation algorithm. These earbuds are fully sweat-proof and waterproof with an IP68 rating for the earbuds and an IP54 rating for the case.

They offer a secure fit with Jabra ShakeGrip technology and up to 8 hours of battery life with ANC on (32 hours with the case). Other features include stable smartwatch connectivity, Swift Pair, Google Fast Pair, and Spotify Tap playback, along with Bluetooth multipoint connection.

The Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2 is priced at $230 and will be available in mid-June in navy, black, and two new colors: coral and olive.
