[Update] Moto G85 full specifications leaked via TENAA certification, launch imminent

Update: Motorola has confirmed that it will be launching the Razr 50 series and the S50 Neo smartphones on June 25 in China. The below-mentioned XT2427-4 variant heading to China will have the Motorola S50 Neo moniker. In other markets, it will be called the Moto G85.

The upcoming Moto G85 has recently received several certifications. Notably, the Hi-Res Audio certification disclosed four model numbers: XT2427-1, XT2427-2, XT2427-3, and XT2427-4, which correspond to regional variants of the G85. Now, the TENAA (China) and BIS (India) certification platforms have approved the Chinese (XT2427-4) and Indian (XT2427-3) variants of the Moto G85, indicating that it will not take too long for it go official. While the BIS listing did not reveal significant details, the TENAA listing has uncovered key specifications for the device.

As per the TENAA listing, the Moto G85 will have a 6.6-inch OLED screen that offers an FHD+ resolution. The leaked renders of the device have revealed that it will have a curved-edge screen. The images have also revealed that it will be available in at least three shades, such as black, green, and blue.

TENAA states that a 2.3GHz octa-core processor powers the device. However, the previously seen Geekbench listing revealed that it may ship with the upcoming Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chipset. In China, it will be offered in multiple RAM options, including 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, and 18 GB, alongside storage variants of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. However, all these variants may not be available at the launch.

The TENAA certification suggests that the Moto G85 could be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. However, there is no information about its rapid charging capabilities. The camera setup includes a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. It will also feature an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The Moto G85’s dimensions are 161.9 x 73 x 7.5mm, and it will weigh 171 grams. However, images of the phone are not yet available in the TENAA listing.

Realme is expected to unveil the Realme 13 Pro series and the Realme GT 6 soon. Reliable leaker Digital Chat Station has released a few Weibo posts to reveal key details about both phones. Here is a look at the leaks that reveal key details about the GT 6 and Realme 13 Pro+.

Realme 13 Pro+

The above Weibo post by DCS suggests that the Realme 13 Pro series will feature a new Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, replacing the OV64B lens, which was available on the Realme 12 Pro+. This indicates that the Realme 13 Pro+ will arrive with the IMX882 periscope zoom camera. This marks the debut of this camera in a mid-range phone, a feature previously exclusive to flagships.

Other reports have revealed that the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ will offer configurations of 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The 13 Pro will be available in Monet Gold, Monet Purple, and Sky Green, while the Pro+ will come in Monet Gold and Emerald Green. Additional details of the series are still under wraps.

Realme GT 6 (Chinese variant)

According to the tipster, the upcoming Realme GT 6 will feature an exclusive display from BOE with extremely narrow bezels. This display will boast a remarkable 6K ultra-high brightness and an 8T LTPO low-power design. It will also include AI-based eye protection, hardware-level low blue light, 2160Hz PWM, and 3Pulse/1Pulse-like DC dimming.

He added that the Realme GT 6’s display will be the most premium in terms of display features among the upcoming new smartphones, which seemingly includes the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, and Redmi K70 Ultra.

Some reports suggest that the latter could go by the name Realme GT 7. However, recent Weibo posts from Realme China executives, including Vice President Xu Qi Chase and Marketing Director Chuchu Jessie, have confirmed that the device will go by the name Realme GT 6. As far as other specs are concerned, the GT 6 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 6,000mAh battery with 100W charging, 24 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, a 50-megapixel triple camera unit, and a metal middle frame.

When a Weibo user inquired about the GT 6’s release date, DCS asserted that it would arrive in China next month (July), promising a swift launch. This GT 6 meant for the Chinese market differs from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered GT 6, debuting on June 20 for the global market. The Realme 13 Pro series may also debut in the same month in China.

iQOO 13 specifications leak reveals it will be significant upgrade over iQOO 12

Several smartphone brands in China are gearing up to launch new flagship phones in the final months of this year. When it comes to iQOO, the brand is expected to unveil the iQOO 13 in November. Unlike previous years, the company may not launch a Pro model, the iQOO 13 Pro, alongside the standard model. The key specifications of the iQOO 13 that have emerged on Weibo reveal that it will be a significant upgrade over the iQOO 12.

To recall, the iQOO 12 featured a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel that offered a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. The device came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and an IP64-rated chassis.

iQOO 13 specifications (rumored)

According to a new Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 13 will have a flat OLED panel that offers a 2K resolution. It will come equipped with a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The iQOO 13 will have an “oversized” x-axis linear motor for an enhanced gaming experience. Although the leaker did not mention it, it is very likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It will have an improved IP68-rated chassis.

The iQOO 12 featured a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 64-megapixel (3x periscope) triple camera unit. DCS reveals that the iQOO 13 will also have a 3x periscope zoom camera. However, it is uncertain whether it will inherit the same periscope telephoto camera. Also, there is no information about the other cameras on the device.

The rumor mill is yet to leak details about the iQOO 13’s battery and charging speed. However, it is known that the device’s topmost model will have 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

Last month, Oppo unveiled the Reno 12 and Reno 12 in China. Recent reports have revealed that the brand is gearing up to announce the Reno 12 series for the global market very soon. Now, the company has officially revealed that the Reno 12 and 12 Pro will debut globally on June 18.

Recent reports have already leaked a lot of details about the Reno 12 and 12 Pro. Both phones will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with support for up to 1200 nits of brightness. The Pro variant will feature a quad-curved screen, while the standard model will feature a dual-edge screen. Both phones will run on ColorOS 14.1-based Android 14 and feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset will power the global versions of the Reno 12 and 12 Pro, unlike the Chinese models with Dimensity 8250 and Dimensity 9200+. Both phones will come with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, 12 GB of virtual RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging. We expect the Pro model to be available in a 12GB+512GB configuration, while the Reno 12 will come in a 12GB+256GB configuration.

This new pure electric hatchback has been spotted previously in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s catalog under various names including “Seal X”, “Seal MINI”, and “Seal 05EV”. While the final name might be “Seal 06 GT”, an official launch is expected sometime in the third quarter of this year.

Nikon officially teases the Nikon Z6 III camera launch set for June 17

The buildup to the release of the Nikon Z6 III camera has been further enhanced with the release of an official teaser of the camera. The teaser video is promoting the upcoming June 17 launch of the Z6 III.

The Nikon Z6 III has been the subject of several rumors of late. It boasts an impressive specs sheet, particularly on the video side of things. It had been previously speculated that the gadget would launch on June 11.

The Z6 III will come with a few improvements over its predecessor, the Nikon Z6 II. It is a full-frame camera with support for 4K ProRes RAW video and also 6K, while the maximum frame rate is 120 fps. It is speculated that the new autofocus setup of the model is equivalent to that of the flagship Z9.

Nikon Z6 III

The previous-gen Nikon Z6 II is an exciting and functional camera for professionals and other users. It was released in 2020 and is a mid-range full-frame mirrorless camera.

There have been speculations on potential upgrades the new camera will feature. The upgrades will further enhance the appeal of the camera for both photo and video engagements. The Z6 III reportedly retains the same 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor as its predecessor but it comes with dual Expeed 7 processors. This configuration allows for higher-resolution videos and frame rates.

The Z6 III is capable of capturing 6K videos in 12-bit NRAW format but the frame rate under this scenario is not known. In contrast, the Z6 II is limited to 4K @ 60fps. Full HD video capability remains the same in the new model, at 240fps in 8-bit with a crop.

The autofocus system in the Z6 III is also very impressive, comparable with some of the Nikon flagship models, the Z8 and Z9. The Z6 III is equipped with a better cooling system and greater ergonomics than its predecessor. Pricing confirmation of the Nikon Z6 III and other optics will be determined at launch.

With the July 10 Galaxy event just a month away, new devices have unexpectedly leaked into the Samsung Members app. The leak appeared on a support page in the app, where users were asked to select devices to solve problems they were having. The list included several new devices that have not yet been released. These devices include the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch FE, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Ring.

The Galaxy Watch 7 will be the latest addition to the Galaxy Watch series, offering enhanced health tracking, longer battery life, and improved performance. Samsung takes steps to improve the user experience with each new model, and the Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to continue this tradition. Galaxy Watch FE is known as a model that offers high performance features at a more affordable price. Galaxy Watch FE is expected to appeal to a wide range of users by combining premium features with a more accessible price point.

The new Galaxy Ring has the potential to be a stylish accessory that offers users health and activity tracking. The Galaxy Ring is expected to excel in features such as sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring. Samsung had admitted right after CES that it was working on this product and it is scheduled to be released around August. Therefore, it is suggested that the Galaxy Ring may be the only product on this list that has not yet been released.

Here’s a look at the leaked specifications of the OnePlus Nord 4, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 3V, to help you decide.

Build and Display

If the rumors about the Nord 4 being a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3V are true, we can expect a sleek design with a glass front and back, giving it a premium feel. 

The phone will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals and a great viewing experience for everyday use and entertainment. Additionally, the IP65 rating for water and dust resistance adds a layer of durability.

Capable Performance

The Nord 4 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. The SoC will deliver some serious performance with its flagship-grade core architecture. That is, the Nord 4 should easily be able to handle gaming and other demanding tasks. The phone is likely to come with 12GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and storage options ranging from 256GB to 512GB.

Cameras and Others

The camera system on the Ace 3V, likely to be carried over to the Nord 4, will be a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. 

While the main sensor sounds promising on paper, note that the phone might lack a telephoto lens for dedicated zoom shots. The 16MP selfie camera seems decent for capturing selfies and video calls.

Moreover, the Nord 4 could likely come with a 5500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. That’s the same setup as Ace 3V which the company claims allows you to quickly top up the battery in under 30 minutes, a major convenience for those on the go.

However, the Nord 4 might have some drawbacks. The lack of a microSD card slot means you will be limited to the phone’s internal storage. Additionally, the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack could be a concern for audiophiles who prefer wired headphones.

Who Should or Shouldn’t Wait for the Nord 4

Now to decide whether to wait for the Nord 4 depends on several factors, including its yet-to-be-revealed price. If you want a mid-range smartphone with a large AMOLED display, long battery life, and fast charging, the Nord 4 seems like a solid option. Its Oxygen OS and capable processor add to its appeal.

However, if you are a power user needing top-tier performance, the Nord 4 might not be the best choice. The recently launched Poco F6 in India, featuring the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip could be a better choice. It starts under Rs 30,00 which is the rumored price range for the OnePlus Nord 4.

The Verdict: Wait and See

Given the scant information available, it’s hard to say for sure if waiting for the Nord 4 is the right move. It appears to be a decent mid-range phone with some standout features, based on the rumors.

It’s better to weigh your priorities and compare the rumored specs of the Nord 4 with other choices at hand before committing. It’s also wise to wait for official pricing and reviews before pulling the trigger.

Xiaomi’s new smart cameras on pre-sale: C300, C500 and BW500

Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, Xiaomi has kicked off the pre-order date and pricing for its new security camera lineup. Three cameras are available: the C300, C500, and BW500. Be aware that prices will increase a little after the pre-order period ends.

C300, C500 and BW500 pre-sale date/pricing

Xiaomi Smart Camera C300 will be available for sale between June 12 and June 19 at a price of 269 CNY, after that the price will increase to 299 CNY. The C500 will be on pre-sale from June 12 to June 19, and after the pre-sale period ends, its price will rise from 319 CNY to 349 CNY.

The pre-sale for the Xiaomi BW500 has not started yet. The BW500 will be priced at 379 CNY between June 14 and June 20, with the price increasing to 399 CNY afterward.

Xiaomi has thus announced the pricing and pre-sale dates for their new smart cameras. These cameras were previously introduced, and their official specifications were previously released as well. Xiaomi C300 comes with one fixed and one rotating camera lens, so it can monitor blind spots as well. And you can simultaneously view the footage from both of the camera through Mi Home app. The camera supports Wi-Fi 6 for improved network transmission and is equipped with Xiaomi’s security chip to protect against privacy leaks. The C300 supports H.265 encoding and offers three storage options: microSD card, cloud storage, and NAS storage.

Google Pixel Watch 3 XL features only one button, the digital crown. According to leaks, the Pixel Watch 3 XL will come with a 1.45-inch display, slightly larger than the previously released Pixel Watches with a 1.2-inch display. Additionally, the thickness of the watch is 13.89mm. The dimensions of the Watch 3 XL are 45mm x 45mm x 13.89mm.
