Last year, ahead of the launch of the Apple Watch Series 7, there were several leaks revealing a redesign for the wearable device. But when the product was actually launched, the design largely remained unchanged.

As it appears, the leaked design for the smartwatch last year wasn’t for the Watch Series 7 models but for the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 models, which are expected to go official along with the new iPhone models later this year.

Apple Watch Series 8 Render Leak

Now, a new report coming from ShrimpApplePro claims that the upcoming Apple Watch models will come with a flat glass design. Jon Prosser and a few other tipsters had previously claimed that the wearable device will have square edges, among other changes.

A new render for the upcoming Watch Series 8 showcases what the smartwatch could end up looking like. However, do note that the leak coming this time hasn’t been confirmed yet, and there’s a chance that is may not turn up to be true.

While Apple hasn’t confirmed anything about the upcoming Watch 8 models, leaks and rumors indicate the product to be the best yet from the brand. It is expected to have support for temperature support and will be running the latest watchOS 9 out-of-the-box and have a few more exciting features.

Apple officially starts selling refurbished Apple Watch Series 7 models

Last year, Apple launched its latest smartwatch lineup in the market, dubbed as Apple Watch Series 7. Now, the technology giant has started selling the refurbished version of the Apple Watch Series 7 models through its own store.

The pricing for the 41mm aluminum model of the Watch Series 7 starts at $339 while the 45mm aluminum model has a starting price of $359. Currently, the company is offering only aluminum models in several different color options.

All the refurbished models of the latest smartwatch from the Cupertino-based giant are GPS-only models. If and when Apple decides to add cellular models or models apart from the aluminum build, then the pricing will be a bit higher.

The new Apple Watch Series 7 with a 41mm aluminum build is priced at $399 while the 45mm aluminum model costs $429, which means that the company is offering discounts of $60 and $70 respectively for the refurbished models.

The company says that the refurbished Apple Watches are inspected, tested, cleaned, and repackaged with a new box, new manuals, and a new Apple Watch charging puck. The company is also providing a standard one-year warranty that can be extended with AppleCare+ for Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Series 7 reportedly charges like a sloth following watchOS 8.5 update

Several Apple Watch Series 7 users have complained that following the watchOS 8.5 update, the wearable fails to charge at the usual speeds.

Apple says that with fast charging, the Apple Watch Series 7 battery level can go from 0-80% in about 45 minutes, which is about 33% faster than the previous generation.

However, following the update, the charging speed has plummeted to being slow enough to fill up the battery by 5% in 15 to 20 minutes (via 9to5Mac). The speeds look variable, though, as another user claimed that their watch charged 5% in a whole hour.

While it initially appeared that only users filling their Apple Watch Series 7 with the Belkin BoostCharge Pro were affected, it now seems that all users are affected — including those using Apple’s own USB-C Magnetic Fast Charging Cable.

There’s no word from Apple on the problem as of yet so until then it’s best to skip the update if you’re concerned about your charging speeds.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is available in 41mm and 45mm versions, with a larger screen-to-body ratio and faster charging. The smartwatch is compatible with Apple’s own 18W, 20W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, 96W USB-C chargers, and it also adapts to third-party USB-C chargers.

watchOS 8.5 was released on March 15 and introduced support for Unicode 14 emojis, updated irregular heartbeat recognition, and fixed an email privacy protection vulnerability that could expose IP addresses.

boAt records biggest growth as Apple leads the global wearable market in 2021 -IDC

The global wearables market has consistently seen massive growth right after the start of the COVID 19 pandemic. This growth has continued in 2021, going by a recent report by the International Data Corporation (IDC). The report shows that the global wearables market recorded a total shipping estimate of 533.6 million units in 2021 as a whole. This represents a massive 20% YoY growth.

The wearables market recorded an impressive 10.8% YoY growth in Q4 2021 alone with an estimated total shipment of 171 million units. Overall, Apple led the market with successes recorded in both the hearables and smartwatch segment. The US company’s market share in Q4 2021 was a huge 34.9%.Apple shipped an estimated 161.8 million units of wearables which includes hearables and smartwatches.

Xiaomi emerged in the second position but with a wide margin from Apple. The Chinese tech giant recorded a 7.1% YoY growth in 2021 with the smartwatch segment driving its sales. It shipped an estimated 54.4 million units in 2021 which isn’t up to half of what APple shipped during the period.

Samsung is the third-largest wearables vendor in 2021, thanks to the Galaxy Watch 4 series. The Korean tech giant saw a 20.1% YoY growth last year with an estimated 48.1 million units in shipments.

Embattled Chinese company Huawei surprisingly continued to maintain its mark in the worldwide wearables market. The company is said to have shipped an estimated 42.7 million units of wearables which is an increase of 25.6% over its shipping figures for last year. Huawei’s shipments weren’t only in China but also in European markets where it continues to enjoy huge patronage.

The biggest improvement was recorded by the Indian company Imagine Marketing, which owns the BoAt brand. The brand came in 5th place in the global market propelled by its exploit in the Indian market. This indeed underscores the rapid growth of the Indian wearable market. boAt recorded an estimated shipment of 28.6 million units as against 10 million units shipped last year. This represents a staggering 163.4% YoY growth. In Q4 2021, the company’s shipments grew 69.6% YoY.

Apple Watch series seems to have cast its place in stone as a reliable lifesaver going by the numerous stories of how the device has saved numerous lives. A new Apple advert has captured the real-life audio calls made by distressed Apple Watch 7 users at three separate instances that led to their eventual rescue from possible death.

The 60-second TV ad begins with the sound of a 911 operator asking a woman what was her emergency. The woman, Amanda replies that she has had a car accident and her car is flipped with water entering into the vehicle and she cannot get out. The second audio recording involved a paddle boarder being pushed to sea due to very strong headwinds. The third audio involves a farmer who fell into a 21-foot hole, leading to a fracture in his leg and being unable to call anyone else for help. The three persons were all wearing an Apple Watch 7 on their wrists.

Remarkably, each of the three distressed Apple Watch 7 users got help early enough to save their lives from a certain calamitous end. With the swift response of the emergency services at these locations, all three of them were saved. Although it seems rather too simplistic to adduce their survival only to the Apple Watch 7, it is, without doubt, an important link in their rescue.

Apple Watch Series 7 pre-order shipments pushed back to December

A few days ago, Apple officially started taking pre-orders for its latest Apple Watch Series 7 after announcing the new wearable devices a few weeks ago. The company had delayed the launch by a couple of weeks because of production issues.

As it turns out, the production issue is quite real and it seems that the company hasn’t fixed it yet. Those who have pre-ordered the latest Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatches are finding out that the shipment dates have been pushed back to December while some higher-priced models are marked as “currently unavailable.”

It is reported that the devices priced at $899 are listed as “currently unavailable” which are made from silver titanium with a leather band, as well as a black titanium one with a silicone band. The Apple Watch models that are part of Hermes’ partnership are showing delivery dates in the month of November and December.

Apple has been facing shipments issues with the newly launched iPhone 13 series smartphones as well, with shipments dates pushed to November for some units. It remains to be seen if the technology giant manages to sort out the production issues ahead of the holiday season that is about to begin.

Last month, along with the new iPhone 13 series smartphones, the Cupertino-based tech giant had unveiled the Apple Watch Series 7 but instead of revealing its pricing and availability details, the company just said that the smartwatches will go on sale this fall.

Now, the latest smartwatch lineup from the company will be available to pre-order globally which will reveal almost everything related to the devices. But, just hours before that, the pricing details have leaked online.

The company had already confirmed that the Apple Watch Series 7 will have a starting price of $399. There are basically four models — Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Nike. All those models come in GPS and GPS + Cellular variants as well as two different sizes — 41mm and 45mm.

From this leak, it appears that the pricing of the new Apple Watch Series 7 is quite similar to the pricing of the Watch Series 6 models launched last year. Also, it seems that the Stainless Steel and Titanium customers won’t be getting a GPS-only option.

While the smartwatches will be up for pre-order from today (i.e. 8th October), it remains to be seen how the company manages to keep up with the demand. For those who are unaware, Apple faced production issues because of the “quality issues” and if the company has managed to fix that, it will be difficult to meet the demand globally.

Ahead of the pre-orders starting, the India pricing for the upcoming watches from Apple had already been revealed through a listing on the online marketplace Flipkart. Interestingly, the pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 7 models are already live on the Chinese platform JD.com, a day before the company starts officially taking orders.

The Apple Watch Series 7 orders go live in China starting from 8th October 2021 and will officially be available released on October 15. Although, pre-orders for the latest smartwatch from the company is currently available via JD.com, a known Chinese e-retailer.

For those unaware, the Watch Series 7 is the latest wearable product from the Cupertino based giant. It has been listed on JD.com, with pre-orders being live for a starting price of 2,999 Yuan (roughly 465 US Dollars). The Watch Series 7 is available in two size options, namely a 41mm and 45mm model, and feature IP6X water and dust resistance rating. It sports a Retina LTPO OLED capacitive touchscreen screen, which is protected by Ion-X strengthened glass.

The new Watch Series 7 was first launched back in September 2021 and will be available in China in five new color variants, including Starlight, Midnight, Blue, Green, and Red, along with a number of new strap colors and watch faces as well. It also offers features like Always on display, accelerometer, gyro, heart rate (3rd gen), barometer, always on altimeter, compass, SpO2, and VO2max. Apple Watch Series 7 India pricing revealed by Flipkart ahead of launch

Last month, along with the Apple iPhone 13 series smartphones, the Cupertino-based technology giant also announced its latest smartwatches — Apple Watch Series 7. While the product is yet to go on sale, its pricing details have been revealed.

Now, the Apple Watch Series 7 has been listed on India’s online marketplace Flipkart which revealed that the smartwatch will have a starting price of ₹41,900 in the country. It’s still listed as “Available later this year” which means that the launch date remains unknown.

The development was first reported by Ishan Agarwal on Twitter. Coming back to the pricing, the base model with 41mm aluminum case is priced at ₹41,900 while the one with 45mm case will cost ₹44,900. The cellular model with 41mm casing will set you back by ₹50,900 while the same for the 45mm is priced at ₹53,900.

As for the Stainless Steel variant, the GPS + Cellular model in 41mm case is priced at ₹69,900 while the 45mm model costs ₹73,900. The marketplace has also listed Milanese Loop for the price of ₹4,000.

Apple Watch Series 7 first real-world images surfaces ahead of launch

Apple may announce the new Watch Series 7 anytime from now but the company managed to contain leaks to an extent that the real-world pictures weren’t out yet. However, some pictures finally found their way past restrictions and were circulated online. The images went live on a Facebook group but it was taken down soon after its posting. It is also being claimed that Apple Watch Series 7 was undergoing carrier testing before its official launch this fall.

Contrary to the rumors, Watch Series 7 does not feature flat-edges but instead, is curved over the sides, as appears from the leaked images. So far, only the marketing and promotional graphics were available for everyone to see but after the leaks from today, it is clear how exactly the upcoming Watch Series 7 is going to look like.

Even though the CPU remains the same as we saw on Apple Watch Series 6, there are significant improvements to the display, improved IP6X rating for dust and water resistance, and we can hope for more. But for that, we will have to wait for Apple to announce it.

Apple Watch Series 7 detailed specs revealed via internal datasheet

When it comes to knowing the detailed specifications of Apple products, there is not much that we get out of Apple. The company, in its launches, only reveals relevant information without mentioning the exact details. For example, it’s hard to make out how big of a battery is packed in iPhones, and all we get to know is that there will be enough juice to get an 8-hour SOT. Well, that’s how Apple has been, and we don’t expect them to get into details either. But an internal datasheet has recently surfaced online that takes us through some crucial information about Watch Series 7 that Apple probably won’t tell you.

There’s a clear mention of specs of the latest Apple smartwatch along with older Series 6, Series 3, and SE watches. The most prominent bit is the weight of the Watch Series 7 models. The 41mm dial model weighs just 32 grams with the Aluminum casing, the weight increases significantly for the Stainless Steel model and is at 42.3 grams whereas the Titanium build is again on the lower side with just 37 grams. As for the larger 45mm models, 38.8 grams (Aluminum), 51.5 grams (Stainless Steel), and 45.1 grams (Titanium) respectively.

While there’s absolutely no change in the internal storage that stays the same 32GB as it was on the previous two generations of watches, the chipset sees a significant increment with the new S7 System-in-Package (SiP). This processor is claimed to be 20% faster than the S5 SiP on last year’s Apple Watch SE.

Apple has officially unveiled the Watch Series 7, its latest and most powerful smartwatch yet. With slimmer bezels, the Apple Watch Series 7 comes with a bigger display, and Apple claims that an additional 50 percent more text can be crammed into its display compared to the Apple Watch Series 6.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is priced at $399 and offers a more interactive display with a full keyboard that has swiping functionality. The Watch Series 7 also comes with several new watch faces attuned to the much larger display available in the device. The Watch Series 7 however still retains the ruggedness that has been an integral part of Apple’s design philosophy. It has IP6X water and dust resistance rating, and comes in two sizes – 41mm and 45mm. These are some improvements from the previous Apple watches in terms of their size.

Huawei Event – September 13

Huawei will be announcing multiple new computer-related products at an event in China on September 13. It has been reported that the event will see Huawei announce its first office printer. It is also expected that Huawei will announce an All-in-One PC and new MateBook computers too.

Apple Event – September 14

Apple has scheduled an announcement for new products on Tuesday, September 14. It is expected to unveil the new iPhone 13 series, the Apple Watch 7 series, new iPads, and new MacBooks.

The new iPhones will be the highlight of the event which will be live-streamed. The iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max will come with a new powerful processor, a smaller notch, bigger batteries, and support for faster charging.

Xiaomi Event – September 15

Kuo hints Apple Watch Series 7 production challenges have now been resolved

A report emerged a couple of days back that the Apple Watch Series 7 could be delayed due to some production issues. There were doubts whether the new smart wearable will be part of the product lineup for Apple’s September 14 launch event. The event dubbed California Streaming will see some big announcements by Apple, but no details were provided on the specific production issues that could delay shipments till November 2021.

However, new details coming from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that all the production issues have now been resolved and the Apple Watch Series 7 will be released as originally scheduled. Apple will therefore begin shipment of the device by the end of September 2021.

This also means that the new Apple Watch Series 7 will share the spotlight with possibly the iPhone 13 and iPad that may be unveiled next week. Principally, it is believed that the production issues were around the adoption of many new panel-related production processes and a new choice of suppliers for the OLED screens of the smart wearables.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is rumored to have a sharp edge flat design like the iPhone 12. The panels use a contact design in favor of the cable design in previous models. Obviously, the new design approach brought in some complexities that warranted an adjustment of the production timelines. It is believed that Apple was able to rise to the production challenges, bringing the device back in line for its release this month.

Mass production of the Watch Series 7 panels, according to the analyst, will begin in mid-September. The California Streaming Apple launch event is billed for 10am PDT on September 14.

Apple Watch Series 7 shipments could be delayed due to production issues

Apple has now confirmed that the company will be hosting its next launch event on 14th September. While the tech giant has not confirmed what devices it plans to launch at this “California Streaming” event, it’s pretty evident that the iPhone 13 series is expected to go official on 14th September.

But the next-generation iPhone isn’t the only product getting launched at the event. Going by the previous record of the company and the rumors, Apple is also set to announce its Watch Series 7 at the same event.

However, a new report claims that the actual launch of the Apple Watch Series 7 could be delayed as the company is facing production issues. Currently, there’s not much information available about what the issues are.

This means that while the Apple Watch Series 7 will be announced next week, the new models of the smartwatches won’t be available for purchase until the end of October. But there’s a possibility that instead of delaying the launch for all the models, Apple could only delay the affected models while the rest of them will be available as usual.

Apple is expected to announce new smartwatches this year and there is a lot to be excited about. There have been rumors that the new Apple Watches will sport bigger screens, and a reputable source has now confirmed it is true along with more details. There is also new info about future models.

A Bloomberg report has revealed that the Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in two sizes – 41mm and 45 mm. The latter will have a screen size of about 1.9 inches, an increase from the 1.78 inches of the 44mm Apple Watch Series 6. The resolution has also increased to 396 x 484, resulting in a 16% increase in pixels. Unfortunately, the screen details of the 41mm version were not revealed.

Apple will take advantage of the new screen size by showing more information on the screen. It has also been stated that the Apple Watch Series 7 will be getting new watch faces that make the best use of this new screen size. One of the new Watch Faces is called Modular Max, and apart from showing the time, it will also show a small complication such as the day of the week, temperature, or a shortcut to an app, alongside a larger complication.

Other new Watch Faces mentioned are Continuum – which will change based on the flow of time and the current hour; Atlas and World Timer – which shows all the 24 time zones; and new Nike and Hermes faces.

The display of the new Apple Watches is said to use a new lamination technique that brings the display closer to the protective glass. Unfortunately, it has led to production issues that may result in the smartwatches getting delayed or limited supply at launch.

Bloomberg also reported that Apple is planning to announce a successor to the Apple Watch SE next year as well as a rugged model targeted at extreme sports users. The flagship watch will also get a refresh with a new feature being a body temperature sensor. Other reported features coming to the Apple Watch line in the future are a non-invasive blood sugar monitor and a blood pressure monitor.

Apple is expected to announce the Watch Series 7 in September this year. While that is yet to happen, images purported to be a counterfeit of the upcoming Watch Series 7 model have appeared online. The images were shared by a Twitter user @MajinBuOfficial and they show the knock-ff Watch Series 7 in space gray, silver, and space black colors.

The design of the Watch Series 7 knock-off resembles those of the previously leaked CAD renders of the next-gen Apple Watch. It is expected that the Apple Watch will use a square edge, which is very similar to the design of the iPhone 12 series, iPad Air, iPad Pro, and the 24-inch iMac.

Although the devices in the images are knock-offs and not from Apple, they may be similar to the final product, allowing us to see how the new Apple Watch design looks in real life. The tipster also disclosed that the Apple Watch Series 7 clone is already on sale in China for around 350-400 yuan (~$60).

So far, we have only seen the design of the Apple Watch Series 7 in renders that are based on leaked images and CAD drawings leaked by industry sources. Although the Apple Watch 7 series is expected to be 1.7mm thinner than the 6 series, it is worth noting that this change may not have been brought to the cloned product. The Watch 7 clone in the leaked images appears to be thicker than the genuine device.

The clones of popular Apple products are usually very deceptive in appearance, making the deceived believe that they are genuine. This problem is very common, especially the counterfeit AirPods, which has reached the point where it is difficult to distinguish between the fake and the real so that Apple has a team that focuses on combating counterfeit products and preventing them from being sold.

Apple is expected to launch Apple Watch Series 7 as early as next month, and it is likely to be launched alongside the iPhone 13 series, offering improved display technology and ultra-wideband connections, faster processors, larger batteries, and more.

A new rumor has suggested that the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 will arrive in larger sizes than its predecessors. Reportedly, the latest smartwatch generation from the company will launch in sizes 41mm and 45mm case sizes.For those unaware, the new Apple Watch Series 7 that will launch in sizes that replace the current 40mm and 44mm options that have been offered since the Watch Series 4. The leak was shared by known Weibo tipster UnclePan (Via MacRumors). Before the Watch Series 4, the Cupertino based giant’s popular wearable device had been offered in 38mm and 42mm case sizes before the design being shifted towards the larger sizes. Now, it seems that the brand will be making another change in sizes with the latest models.

Despite the slight rise in size, the iPhone maker has retained the iconic design of its Watches while also retaining compatibility of the bands used in older iterations of the product. In other words, the newer models would support the bands from previously launched variants of the smartwatch. The leaker further added that the Apple Watch Series 7 will also allow bands designed for 40mm and 44mm to work with its newer 41mm and 45mm sizes.

Although, the rise in size of the new Watches doesn’t arrive as a surprise considering the company is working on narrowing the bezels of the smartwatch’s display with a flat edge design. This would allow for a greater surface area of the screen. Another leaker Jon Prosser shared renders earlier this year that showcased the device with a flat edge design with a larger display. The Watch Series 7 is expected to be launched along with the iPhone 13 series later this year.

Apple Watch 7 series is expected to go official in September alongside the iPhone 13 series. While nothing much is known about the Watch Series 7, 91mobiles has shared the CAD renders to reveal what to expect from it.

Earlier in May, tipster Jon Prosser had shared renders of the Apple Watch 7 series. The new renders shared by the publication are in line with the images shared by Prosser. The new renders show that the Watch 7 will continue to sport a square-shaped dial.

Instead of rounded edges, the Watch 7 will be a flaunting flat-edged design. The renders suggest that it will offer a boxy design like the iPhone 12 series and the recent iPads. The renders further show that it has flat sides and a curvy frame like the predecessor models.

The Watch 7 is likely to feature a user-replaceable silicone strap. The right edge of the device has a crown and a flat selection button. Its left spine has a pair of slits for speakers. The rear side of the device seemingly features some sensors including a heart-rate sensor.

The publication further revealed that the Apple Watch Series 7 will come in a 44mm size that measures 44 x 38 x 9mm and it will house a 1.8-inch display. It could be featuring a new display with slimmer bezels. The Watch 7 series is also expected to offer enhanced health-tracking sensors. Some rumors surrounding the next generation Apple smartwatch claim that it will feature a new lamination technique that will bring the display nearer to the front cover and it will carry support for ultrawideband (UWB) connectivity.

A prototype image has been shared online of the Apple Watch Series 3 that sports a unique possible Smart Connector on the device. A hidden connection port is a regular feature of Apple Watches, and this enables easy internal diagnostics by Apple and other internal tests. The prototype was shared by Guilio Zompetti and indicated the presence of two other ports which were not hidden, with a close semblance to the Apple iPad’s Smart Connector, but much smaller. The Apple Watch has evolved over the years from a simple gadget to a potent smart wearable device in some cases, capable of providing an array of health and fitness advisory and data. The Apple Watch became even more poignant during the coronavirus pandemic. They were transformed into devices capable of predicting the onset of the coronavirus several days before symptoms appeared.

Apple might have experimented on some “smart bands” in earlier revisions of Apple Watch S3.

Authoritative Apple tipster, Zompetti, in his Twitter feed relating to the prototype, says that the prototype is an Apple Watch 3 prototype which the company was testing back then. From the prototype image, it seems Apple was working on including a pair of Smart Connectors which may function for blood pressure monitoring. The connectors are located where the band of the watch would sit, meaning it would work with the smart band to perform the function. However, the optics of how the blood pressure sensor will interface with the Smart Band is unknown, as the tipster did not provide any additional information in this direction.

Apple is getting set to launch the Watch Series 7 but we can’t say if this feature will make it into the model.

Apple Watch Series 7 to feature smaller double sided S7 chip: Report

A new report has revealed information regarding the Apple Watch Series 7. The next gen smartwatch from the company will apparently feature a smaller “S7” chipset that will open up more space for other internal components.

According to a paywalled report from DigiTimes (Via MacRumors), the Apple Watch Series 7 from the Cupertino based giant will house a new double sided SiP (System in Package). This new chipset will be built from Taiwanese supplier ASE Technology. On the supplier’s official website, ASE Technology confirmed that its double sided technology will allow for module miniaturization. In other words, the company’s latest smartwatch could sport a smaller “S7” chipset under the hood.

At the moment, the iPhone maker is expected to launch the Series 7 Watch in September of this year. This launch month is in line with its previous generation announcements. Furthermore, the brand is also reported on testing thinner display bezels and a new lamination technique that could bring the display and the front glass cover closer together.

Similarly, we had previously reported on the smartwatch featuring a new flat design along with a new mint green color variant. Previous leaks had also claimed that the upcoming Watch Series 7 will feature a blood glucose level tracking function along with a body temperature tor sensor as well.

Apple has continued to provide innovation in its Apple Watch series, including the soon-to-be-released model this year. However, subsequent versions of Apple watches could have additional features like blood glucose and body temperature sensors to provide improved health surveillance data for its users. Bloomberg reports that the 2021 Apple Watch model could come with an improved screen setup and thinner display bezels. In addition, there would be an improved ultra-wideband support and less distance between the display and front cover because of the use of an improved lamination technique.

Smart wearables are increasingly becoming health and fitness gadgets, providing data on diverse aspects of our body mechanism and reactions 24 hours a day. Last year, several studies were carried out in the United States and elsewhere, which showed that Apple Watches could identify potential Covid-19 patients several days before symptoms began to manifest. This was accomplished by collecting and real-time analysis of diverse data on body functions that identified some departure from the normal processes. The blood glucose sensor will help to monitor blood sugar levels for diabetic patients in a more effective and less intrusive manner. The temperature sensor is believed to be several years away and could gain the attention of thousands of users in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Apple could also be gearing up for the release of sports-centric models for extreme sports enthusiasts from 2022. There is even talk that a durable sports model that could be called the Explorer, could debut in 2022.

As expected, Apple has neither refuted nor confirmed the rumors surrounding its incoming lineup of Apple Watches. This further feeds into the speculations, although further information will become available from different sources as we move forward.

Apple Watch Series 7 renders show a uniform design across Apple products

Apple appears to be going for the same design language across its devices. The iPhone 12 series, new iPad Pro, and even the new iMac all have a flat design. Now that flat design is coming to its next-gen wearable, the Apple Watch Series 7.

We got our first look at the upcoming smartwatch earlier thanks to the leaker, Jon Prosser, who shared them on the latest episode of Front Page Tech. The renders are said to be based on images and CAD files shared by an insider source.

The Apple Watch Series 7 has ditched the curved frame for a flat one. The left side of the watch which is bare on the Apple Watch Series 6 is now home to two long slits. The right side is still home to the digital crown and the side button.

The renders also show a new mint green color that looks really nice, but there is no confirmation if this will be eventually released. Other colors are silver, blue, black, and red. It remains to be seen if the Apple Watch will get a wide range of color options like the iMac.
