According to Casio, this manufacturing process means the color gradient on every watch will be slightly different. The colors also shift depending on the angle of your wrist. To balance out the iridescent screen, the rest of the watch is made of standard black resin and stainless steel.

The second watch is the GMA-S110XG-4A, priced at ¥25,300 (roughly $158). This one is an analog-digital hybrid with a bulkier case. The pink resin band and bezel are made using a color molding technique that mixes different resins together during production. This creates a marbled pattern that, similar to the rainbow glass on the other model, is unique to each individual watch. It also includes a polarized dial that changes color in the light.

Beyond the cosmetic changes and the XG logos on the dials and case backs, these are standard G-Shock watches. Scheduled for release in June 2026, it is one of the most expensive G-Shock models the company has produced, carrying a retail price of ¥1,210,000 ($7,590) in Japan. Production is capped at 800 numbered units worldwide.

Design Details

The MRG-BF1000EB-1AJR relies heavily on specialized materials and manufacturing processes rather than standard mass production. The bezel is constructed from Cobarion, a cobalt-chrome alloy that is roughly four times harder than pure titanium. Instead of standard machine milling, the bezel’s facets are cut by hand by Japanese gemstone artisan Kazuhito Komatsu.

The metal is then treated with a blue arc ion plating (AIP) to give it a reflective finish. According to Casio, this aesthetic is meant to mimic a brinicle, an underwater ice formation found in polar regions. Additionally, the two front screws on the asymmetrical case are set with lab-grown, 57-facet brilliant-cut blue sapphires.

Underneath the exterior treatments, the watch maintains the hardware specifications expected from the Frogman line. The core case, case back, crown, and buttons are machined from Ti64 titanium alloy and treated with a titanium carbide (TiC) coating for abrasion resistance.

It features an ISO 200-meter water resistance rating, supported by Casio’s Clad Guard Structure, which integrates fluoro rubber buffers into the crown and pushers to protect the internal module from impacts. The screw-lock case back incorporates a blue vapor-deposited sapphire crystal and an engraving of the standard Frogman character.

On the technology side, the MRG-BF1000EB-1AJR is fully analog but uses three independent dual-coil motors to drive the hands. In dive mode, the hour and minute hands overlap to function as a single indicator for elapsed dive time.

The watch is listed at $1,500 and appears to be shipping immediately. That puts it at the same U.S. retail price as the older MTG-B4000B-1A2. In Japan, the related MTG-B4000B-1AJF launched on May 15, 2026, priced at ¥176,000, or about $1,110.

The MTG-B4000B-1A is part of Casio’s MT-G line, which combines resin and metal construction. This model uses a carbon laminated frame with stainless steel, along with a Dual Core Guard structure. Casio says the design was refined through simulation and human review to balance strength, shape, and wearability.

The case uses carbon fiber reinforced resin and stainless steel, while the bezel has a two-part inner and outer structure. The stainless-steel bezel gets black ion plating with both hairline and mirror finishes. The case back is made from stainless steel using Metal Injection Molding. The watch also has Triple G Resist protection, covering shock, centrifugal force, and vibration resistance.

The black dial carries red accents and microfabrication details from Casio’s Yamagata factory. It is protected by a sapphire crystal and paired with a black soft urethane band. Other hardware details include a screw-lock crown, Neobrite luminous treatment, a high-brightness LED light, and 200-meter water resistance.

Design Details

The main draw of this specific model is the design of the case. Casio has tweaked the construction of the 5000 series here, connecting the bezel and the center case at the top and bottom to leave the middle section exposed. That exposed center case is treated with a gradient rainbow ion-plated finish. Because of how the plating process works, the color distribution is slightly different on every unit. Rather than just stamping a Star Wars logo on standard models, Casio customized the materials and colors to match the film’s two main characters. Both watches share a similar set of everyday features. They include world time tracking (31 time zones on the GM2100, 29 on the BA110), a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timers, and five daily alarms. The GM2100 uses a double white LED for illumination, while the BA110 uses an amber LED.

You can also pair the watch to your phone via Bluetooth using the Casio Watches app. This handles basic tasks like automatic time correction and adjusting settings, but it also includes a location indicator.

If you set a destination in the app, the physical hands on the watch will point toward it, a helpful feature if you’re hiking and don’t want to keep pulling out your phone. Casio does note that this specific location feature isn’t available in China, however.

Casio has launched three G-Shock Master of G Mudmaster GG-B100X watches in the UK. The models are the GG-B100X-1A, GG-B100X-1A3, and GG-B100X-1A9. These watches are part of a five-version GG-B100X series that was announced in February 2025.

Design and Durability

The Mudmaster series is made for professionals working in extreme conditions, including rescue teams and rangers. The watches have a carbon fiber-reinforced resin case that protects against impact while staying lightweight. The bezel uses three layers of fine resin with carbon fiber inserts. Sealed buttons and mud filters keep out dust and mud. The case back is stainless steel, and the back cover uses impact-resistant glass-fiber-reinforced resin.

The design takes inspiration from jerrycans mounted on off-road vehicles. Key components of the case and strap use bio-based resin made from renewable organic resources.

Technical Features

The watches include a quad sensor system with a digital compass, altimeter/barometer, thermometer, and pedometer. This setup monitors environmental changes and tracks activity patterns during land missions.

Bluetooth connects the watch to smartphones for automatic time setting through the G-SHOCK app. The Mission Log function automatically records altitude data from the watch and route data from your smartphone. The Super Illuminator feature provides automatic double LED lighting for visibility in the dark.

The GG-B100XM-1A variant has a silver-tone stainless steel bezel with a brushed finish that resists scratches and reduces light reflections.

Pricing and Availability

The new lineup includes three watches — GA-2100K-1A, GA-2100K-2A, and GA-2100K-5A. And as you might expect, all watches bear the familiar GA-2100 design, i.e., a slim, octagonal case with both analog hands and a small digital display. 

The distinguishing theme, however, is their nightlife aesthetic. Casio says the design takes cues from electronic music scenes, with translucent cases and glossy dials that look like they belong under club lights rather than office fluorescents.

Casio brings its nightlife-inspired G-Shock GA-2100 watches to EU countries

Each model uses a transparent resin and carbon case paired with a matching strap. At just over 48mm tall and weighing about 51 grams, the watches keep the lightweight feel the GA-2100 series is known for. They also retain the tough reputation of the line, thanks to Casio’s Carbon Core Guard structure and 200-meter water resistance.

The differences mostly come down to color. The GA-2100K-1A arrives in smoky gray with subtle green highlights on the dial. The GA-2100K-2A uses a frosty blue case with bright orange accents, while the GA-2100K-5A goes for a warmer amber-brown tone paired with red details.

First released as a manga by Masamune Shirow and later adapted into the landmark 1995 animated film, the series shaped how cyberpunk is portrayed in Japanese pop culture. Its exploration of identity, artificial intelligence, and the line between human and machine helped define modern sci-fi storytelling. The 1995 film, in particular, became a global reference point, inspiring filmmakers, designers, and technologists for decades.

The collaboration is based on the DW-5600, a square-shaped G-SHOCK that traces its design back to the original DW-5000. This model established G-SHOCK’s core concept of shock resistance and long-term durability. The new edition stays faithful to that design while adding Ghost in the Shell elements.

The watch features a black resin case and band, with turquoise G-SHOCK branding on the frame. Ghost in the Shell branding appears in teal, matching the series’ cyber-themed color style. When the electro-luminescent backlight is activated, an image of Motoko Kusanagi, also known as The Major, appears on the display panel. This is the main visual tie-in with the 1995 film.

Casio has announced a new G-Shock GWG-B1000TLC-1A Mudmaster developed with Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body. The design takes inspiration from the Dakar Rally’s night stages. Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body has raced in the Dakar Rally every year since 1995. The watch is all black with sand-textured resin straps that look like desert dunes. A gold band loop represents moonlight across the desert.

The case uses carbon fiber-reinforced resin inside an ion-plated metal exterior made with high-precision forging. Sapphire crystal and double LED lights keep the display readable in tough conditions. The dial has red, blue, and yellow accents copied from rally car navigation systems for quick reading at night.

The watch is radio-controlled (Multiband 6) and solar-powered. Bluetooth provides automatic time adjustments. The triple sensor measures temperature, altitude, and barometric pressure. A compass includes a Location Indicator function. Using the companion app, you can set a destination and the indicator hand at 3 o’clock will point toward it, helping you navigate through sandstorms or low visibility.

The watch resists shock, dust, mud, and vibration through cylindrical stainless steel button guards, button shaft gaskets, and a screw-lock crown. αGEL on the module’s sides and bottom absorbs vibrations.

Team Land Cruiser logos appear on the band loop, band, and case back. The case back has multiple facets that reference the rally vehicle’s design. The watch comes in special packaging made from recycled materials.

The watch will launch in February 2026 at £779 in the UK and ¥140,800 (around $889) in Japan. Buyers can register for email updates on Casio’s UK website.

Casio has released the G-Shock DW-5900UBB-1 and DW-5900U-1 in the UK, bringing its updated DW-5900 digital watches to a wider audience. Both models launched in Japan earlier in January 2026 and are refreshed versions of the DW-5900BB-1 and DW-5900-1 that were introduced in 2018.

The two watches are now available through Casio’s official UK online store. Each model is priced at £80 and includes free delivery within two to four working days. Casio has also indicated that the watches are expected to be sold at its physical store in London, although availability there has not been fully confirmed.

The DW-5900U series focuses on internal improvements rather than major design changes. Both models use the newer 3536 module, replacing the older 3465 module found in the previous generation. Another key update is the switch from an electroluminescent backlight to a high brightness LED backlight. These changes improve power efficiency and extend the rated battery life from five years to ten years.

The DW-5900U-1 stays close to the original look of the series. It features a black resin case with red and blue accents and a standard light background digital display. The DW-5900UBB-1 takes a more minimal approach with an all black design, a matte finish, and a black background digital display without colored highlights.

Both watches keep the classic DW-5900 face layout. This includes three digital graph indicators positioned across the top of the dial and a larger main display below. Functional features remain unchanged and include world time, a countdown timer, a 1/100 second stopwatch, and support for five daily alarms.

Casio has not shared details on when the DW-5900UBB-1 and DW-5900U-1 will be released in other parts of Europe or in markets such as the United States.

A fresh leak has revealed that two Casio G-Shock watches are getting a new military-inspired look. The new models are a part of the brand’s popular GA-2100 series, bringing a tactical design to the rugged watches. So let’s check it out.

Casio’s G-Shock With New Military Camouflage Look

The leak arrives from Casioblog, which revealed two new G-Shock GA-2100 models, namely GA-2100CM-8A and GA-2100CM-5A. This report also shared images of the two G-Shocks that are draped in utilitarian camouflage patterns that feel right at home in rugged outdoor settings or tactical gear. These render teasers show watches with inverted (negative) displays paired with earthy, muted camo schemes.

The GA-2100CM-8A appears in a gray-heavy, taupe-leaning pattern, while the GA-2100CM-5A opts for a more desert-sand hue. Both models are clearly designed to blend into the natural surroundings rather than stand out. Although Casio hasn’t officially confirmed specs yet, the leaked models are expected to carry forward the core strengths of the existing GA-2100 series. So we can expect the Carbon Core Guard structure, which uses a touch carbon reinforced case for improved drop and shock resistance, along with 200 meters of water resistance as well.

You’ll likely still find other essential functions like world time spanning multiple time zones, multiple daily alarms, a countdown timer, an LED backlight for low-light legibility, and the trademark G-Shock durability that made the GA-2100 lineup one of Casio’s most popular in recent years. Casio has released three new GA-2100 models in the UK based on nightclub aesthetics. The GA-2100K series takes design cues from smoke effects and laser lighting found in electronic music venues.

The collection includes the GA-2100K-1A, GA-2100K-2A, and GA-2100K-5A. Each watch uses the GA-2100’s hybrid design with analog hands and a compact digital display. All three have piano black dials with dark digital screens and neon-colored accents on the hands, outer ring, and G-Shock logo.

The GA-2100K-1A has a gray semi-transparent resin case and strap with turquoise accents. The GA-2100K-2A uses blue resin with orange highlights. The GA-2100K-5A features brown translucent resin with red details. All three use matte semi-transparent resin that contrasts with the glossy dial surface.

The watches include world time support and analog hands with plus or minus 15 seconds per month accuracy. The digital display shows the date, and the day indicator sits at the 9 o’clock sub-dial. You also get a stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, and an hourly time signal.

Casio built these with Carbon Core Guard structure for impact protection. They’re water resistant to 200 meters, so you can swim and do other water activities with them on.

Pricing & availability

All three models cost £109 on Casio’s UK online store. The watches are also available at Casio’s physical store in London. The company will release them across Europe soon. Regional Casio websites like France, Germany and the Netherlands already have these watches listed as coming soon, with a price tag of €129.
