<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-346013" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Little-Pepper-X50-Pro-featured.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper X50 Pro" width="790" height="1514" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Little-Pepper-X50-Pro-featured.jpg 790w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Little-Pepper-X50-Pro-featured-157x300.jpg 157w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Little-Pepper-X50-Pro-featured-768x1472.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Little-Pepper-X50-Pro-featured-534x1024.jpg 534w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Little-Pepper-X50-Pro-featured-696x1334.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Little-Pepper-X50-Pro-featured-219x420.jpg 219w" sizes="(max-width: 790px) 100vw, 790px" /></p>
<p>The Little Pepper X50 Pro is not a 1:1 clone of <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/vivo">Vivo</a>&#8216;s phone. As you can see, it opts for a waterdrop notch and not a punch-hole. The 6.5-inch HD display is curved too and the size of its bezels is similar to those of the Vivo X50 Pro.</p>
<p>On the rear, is where the Little Pepper X50 Pro looks more like the Vivo X50 Pro with its camera design. The large rectangular camera housing is home to four cameras. The main camera is a 16MP sensor and it is not only significantly smaller than the 48MP main sensor on the Vivo X50 Pro but also lacks its gimbal stabilization. Sadly, the specs of the other rear cameras are not known but the spec sheet says the selfie camera is an 8MP sensor with support for Face Unlock.</p>

While the phone is very much similar to the iPhone X, check out the hands-on photos to know how it differs in terms of design.</p>
<p>The phone&#8217;s body has the 18:9 ratio but the display of the device itself comes with a traditional aspect ratio of 18:9, featuring a notch at the top of the display. However, instead of having a display with a notch, the phone comes with a top bezel having the notch, giving it a pseudo full-screen appearance.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-162596 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-2-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The Little Peper S11 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. There is also a home button on the front panel, which is not present in the original design of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-x/">iPhone X</a>. Further, the phone has also a fingerprint scanner, embedded into the home button for the security purposes.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-162601 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-1.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-1-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The notch on the top bezel consists of a proximity sensor, speaker grille, and dual camera sensors. The front-facing camera module features an 8-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. Such dual camera setup is used to take depth of field photos with Bokeh effect.</p>
<p>On the top side, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, allowing users to attach regular earphones/headphones to listen to music. At the bottom, there is a speaker grille on both sides, and there sits a micro USB slot in the center.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-162597 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-5.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-5.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-5-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Buttons are placed on the right side of the phone. There is a volume rocker key and just below that, there is a power button. There is no difference between both keys other than their size.</p>
<p>On the back panel, there is a dual rear camera, placed in the top-left corner. Both the cameras, featuring a 13-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor, are stacked vertically.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-162598 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-4.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-4.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-4-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>There is also an LED flash placed in the center of both camera sensors. At the center of the back panel, there is a Little Pepper branding with the company&#8217;s logo placed there.</p>
<p>Coming to the software, the phone runs Alibaba&#8217;s Yun OS 5.1.1 which is based on Android Nougat operating system. There is also a facing recognition feature, similar to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple/">Apple</a>&#8216;s Face ID. However, it remains to be seen how much it is similar to Face ID in terms of performance.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-162600 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-3.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-3.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-3-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Internally, the Little Pepper S11 is powered by a 64-bit <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mediatek/">MediaTek</a> MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand the storage capacity.</p>
<p>The Little Pepper S11 has been announced in China but the company has not revealed any information regarding the phone’s pricing and availability. The smartphone is expected to be available in two color options — Black and White and will soon go on sale in China.</p>

<p>The phone looks very much similar to the recently launched Apple&#8217;s iPhone X. However, instead of having a display with a notch, the phone comes with a top bezel having the notch, giving it a pseudo-full screen appearance. Similar to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-x/">iPhone X</a>, the phone has rear camera stacked vertically and positioned on the left side.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-162243 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="600" height="305" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/little-pepper-s11-300x153.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 64-bit <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mediatek/">MediaTek</a> MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB on internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot, allowing users to further expand the storage capacity up to 128GB.</p>
<p>As of the camera configuration, the phone comes with a dual rear camera setup at the back, featuring a 13-megapixel and a 13-megapixel camera sensor stacked vertically. On the front side, there is also a dual camera setup with two 5-megapixel camera sensors housed within the notch. With dual cameras, the company enables users to shoot depth of field photos.</p>
<p>The device runs on Alibaba&#8217;s Yun OS 5.1.1, which is based on an Android operating system. It seems that there is also a facial recognition feature, similar to the Face ID. Also, there is a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button. The phone is fuelled by a 2,500mAh battery, which should provide a decent battery life given that the phone features a 720p display.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>Read More:</strong></span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/11/25/apple-files-patent-foldable-display/">Apple Files Patent Application For A Foldable Display iPhone</a></p>
<p>Little Pepper is well known for copying popular smartphone designs. It recently launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/05/20/little-pepper-v9-xiaomi-mi-6-mediatek-processor-larger-display/">Little Pepper V9</a>, which shares design similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 6. And to keep the price of its smartphones low, the company uses Mediatek processors.</p>
<p>While the smartphone has been officially announced in China, the company has not yet revealed any information regarding the phone&#8217;s pricing and availability. Little Pepper S11, which is expected to be available in two colour options &#8212; Black and White, will soon go on sale in China.</p>

The back also imitates the iPhone X&#8217;s design as the dual rear cameras are arranged vertically and positioned on the left, though not as close to the edge.</p>

<p>When the Little Pepper S11 was first seen at a Chinese mobile conference last month, its specs were not known. It has now surfaced on TENAA&#8217;s database, revealing all its features.</p>
<p>The Little Pepper S11 packs a 5.5&#8221; 1280 x 720 display. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, the phone will come in three storage variants &#8211; 1GB + 16GB, 2GB + 32GB, and 3GB + 64GB. All variants have storage expansion slots, allowing you add up to 128GB of additional storage.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-162065" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Little-pepper-S11-TENAA-b.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="600" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Little-pepper-S11-TENAA-b.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Little-pepper-S11-TENAA-b-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Little-pepper-S11-TENAA-b-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The dual rear cameras are 13MP and 8MP sensors stacked vertically on the left side of the phone. Up in front, it also has 8MP and 5MP dual cameras housed within the notch. The phone&#8217;s fingerprint scanner sits below the display</p>
<p>The Little Pepper S11 packs a 2500mAh battery which should last up to a day considering the screen is a 720p display. It is also said to run YunOS 5.1.1.</p>

One of its phones, the Little Pepper V9, shares a striking resemblance to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-6/">Xiaomi Mi 6</a> but packs less specs. For its new phone, the S11, Little Pepper takes its inspiration from the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-x/">iPhone X</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-159064" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Little-Pepper-S11.jpg?x10805" alt="Little Pepper S11" width="440" height="330" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Little-Pepper-S11.jpg 440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Little-Pepper-S11-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Little-Pepper-S11-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px" /></p>
<p>The first thing you will notice about the Little Pepper S11 at first look is the notch at the upper part of the display just like that of the iPhone X. However, upon looking closer, you&#8217;d realize Little pepper was “smart” about the display. Rather than the screen itself having a notch, it is the upper bezel that has the notch. So this is actually a regular 16:9 display.</p>
<p>The Little Pepper S11 also differs from the iPhone X by having a physical home button/fingerprint scanner below the screen.</p>
<p>The similarities between both phones continue at the back. The S11 packs dual cameras arranged in the same vertical arrangement but these are definitely not the same sensors.</p>
<p>Little Pepper finishes off the design with a shell that looks like glass but which is actually glossy plastic.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">READ MORE:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/05/20/little-pepper-v9-xiaomi-mi-6-mediatek-processor-larger-display/">The Little Pepper V9 is a Xiaomi Mi 6 With A Mediatek Processor and a Larger Display</a><span id="more-159058"></span></p>
<p>The specs and price of the phone are not known as it was spotted at a Chinese mobile conference. We also do not know when it will hit market shelves but we know that when it does, it will sell for a fraction of the iPhone X.</p>

<p>The Little Pepper V9 shares a design similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 6. Though we are not surprised to see that the blue curved back, dual rear cameras, and home button are where the similarities end.</p>
<p>The Little Pepper V9 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D glass, 3GB RAM, and 32GB ROM. Instead of a Snapdragon processor, it is powered by MediaTek&#8217;s MT6737CT quad-core processor. There are two 16MP sensors on the rear and a 5MP rear camera for selfies.</p>

<p>Little Pepper has included a 3000mAh battery to power the V9. The phone has dual SIM support and runs YunOS 5.1 out of the box. There is no price tag yet neither is there a release date but it sure won&#8217;t sell for as much as the Mi 6.</p>

The news came as a surprise because everyone was waiting for a great phone at that price tag. While Xiaomi probably won&#8217;t be making such a cheap phone, China Unicom <a title="China Unicom brings dream 399 yuan ($64) phone: 64-bit CPU, 1GB RAM &amp; 720p display!" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/03/18/china-unicom-to-unveil-a-399-yuan-64-smartphone-by-the-end-of-march/">announced recently</a> that it would take up the challenge to make a great phone under 399 Yuan.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-44354" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone.jpg?x10805" alt="399 yuan smartphone" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Now, the first images of China Unicom&#8217;s 399 Yuan device have been leaked. These images also reveal that the phone will be manufactured by Little Pepper. The Chinese carrier had said that it was partnering up with a manufacturer in Shenzhen for its cheap device. Since Little Pepper has established itself as an affordable smartphone manufacturer, this partnership doesn&#8217;t come as a surprise.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-44356" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone-2.jpg?x10805" alt="399 yuan smartphone 2" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/399-yuan-smartphone-2-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>To be honest, this 399 Yuan smartphone looks extremely well built for its price. Even in the hardware department, you get decent specs. The phone sports a 5-inch display with HD 720p resolution. Inside, it has a quad-core Marvell PXA 1908 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. You also get an 8MP shooter at the back. Despite is super cheap pricing, the phone will support 4G LTE networks too!</p>

<p>Overall, the 399 Yuan smartphone turns out to be a great offering at this price tag. You get a decent screen, processor and even 4G LTE connectivity, which is at par(or even better than) most entry level offerings in the market. It is said that the phone will be available to purchase directly without any reservations, which is also good since we expect tremendous response for the device.</p>
