<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus </a>Ace 7 has surfaced in the rumor mill once again, courtesy of prolific Weibo tipster <em>Digital Chat Station (DCS)</em>, who has shared fresh details about the device.</p>

<p>According to <em>DCS</em>, a &#8220;high-performance&#8221; OnePlus device currently under evaluation is being tested with the SM8845 Pro, currently known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 in the rumor world. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="235" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/OnePlus-Ace-7-Leak-10000mah-battery-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-6.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus Ace 7 Leak 10000mah battery snapdragon 8 elite gen 6" class="wp-image-741129" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/OnePlus-Ace-7-Leak-10000mah-battery-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-6.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/OnePlus-Ace-7-Leak-10000mah-battery-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-6-300x78.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/OnePlus-Ace-7-Leak-10000mah-battery-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-6-768x201.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/OnePlus-Ace-7-Leak-10000mah-battery-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-6-696x182.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>

<p>While the tipster did not explicitly name the device, it is likely to be the OnePlus Ace 7 based on the clues provided. What&#8217;s different in the latest leak is that <em>DCS</em> had previously claimed the Ace 7 would <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/05/04/oneplus-ace-7-tipped-to-pair-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-with-active-cooling/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>OnePlus Ace 7 will have better specs than expected</strong></h2>

<p>Moreover, the leak also mentions a 10,000mAh-level battery, contrary to previous reports. Earlier rumors suggested that the engineering prototype housed a 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus Ace 6" class="wp-image-712800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-Ace-6-2.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>OnePlus Ace 6</figcaption></figure>

<p>One aspect that remains consistent is the display. The tipster continues to point to a 1.5K LTPS flat panel with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/05/18/oneplus-ace-7-key-specifications-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ultra-high 185Hz refresh rate</a>, corroborating earlier information. The screen is said to be a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, while the refresh rate could potentially reach as high as 240Hz, although 185Hz appears to be the minimum target.</p>

<p>The testing unit is also said to include an active cooling fan, though it remains unclear whether this feature will make it to the final retail version.</p>

<p>Camera details remain absent from the latest leak. However, given the Ace 6&#8217;s dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor, along with a 16MP front-facing camera, a similar configuration for the successor seems plausible.</p>

<p>OnePlus is expected to launch the Ace 7 alongside the OnePlus 16 in China, following the same dual-launch strategy it employed last year. As always, prototype specifications are subject to change before any official announcement.</p>

<p>Last year, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus">OnePlus</a> launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-15">OnePlus 15</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-6">OnePlus Ace 6</a> together in China. This year, the brand is expected to follow a similar strategy by unveiling the OnePlus 16 and Ace 7 simultaneously for the Chinese market. While the rumor mill has already revealed several details about the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-16">OnePlus 16</a> over the past few weeks, fresh information about the Ace 7 lineup has now surfaced as well.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus Ace 7 key specifications tipped</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="951" height="299" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-88.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738641" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-88.png 951w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-88-300x94.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-88-768x241.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-88-696x219.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 951px) 100vw, 951px" /><figcaption>OnePlus Ace 7 key specs tipped</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to DCS’s Weibo post, the engineering prototype of the alleged <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-7">OnePlus Ace 7</a> will feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5</a> chip. The device will be equipped with a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution along with an ultra-high refresh rate, which could be as high as 240Hz, although the minimum guaranteed refresh rate is said to be 185Hz.</p>

<p>The OnePlus Ace 7 will reportedly house a massive 9,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. The testing unit also includes a cooling fan, but there is no clarity on whether the feature will make it to the final retail version of the phone.</p>

<p>The leak does not mention the camera specifications of the Ace 7, but since it is expected to be a performance-focused phone, it may not feature a versatile camera setup. The Ace 6 arrived with a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system. It would not be surprising if the successor retains a similar camera setup with minor sensor improvements.</p>

<p>The OnePlus Ace 6 remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Hence, it remains unclear whether the Ace 7 will launch outside China.</p>

<p>It has not been that long since the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/10/27/oneplus-ace-6-launched-specs-price/">OnePlus Ace 6 launched</a>, but early details about its successor are already starting to show up. The Ace 6, which arrived in October 2025, set a pretty high bar with features like a 165Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, IP69K rating, and a surprisingly large 7,800mAh battery.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-737193" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-2048x1152.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-1920x1080.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/images-kv-pad-phones-1-f000f7.png-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Now, attention is shifting to the OnePlus Ace 7. According to Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu, the phone could use the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/20/snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-phones-list/">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5</a>, the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite used in the Ace 6. It may also feature an active cooling system, which even the recently launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/28/oneplus-ace-6-ultra-launches-with-dimensity-9500-and-a-dedicated-gaming-controller-support/">Ace 6 Ultra</a> lacks. If that holds true, the Ace 7 should offer noticeably better sustained gaming performance compared to both the Ace 6 and possibly even the Ace 6 Ultra.</p>

<p>There is also talk of an “ultra-high refresh rate” display. No exact number yet, but expectations are clearly going up. Some recent leaks even suggest future OnePlus flagships could push toward <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/23/oneplus-16-240hz-display-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-6-pro-leak/">240Hz panels</a>, so it will be interesting to see where the Ace 7 lands.</p>

<p>The Ace series has usually been about offering strong performance at a relatively aggressive price, and that does not seem to be changing. If anything, OnePlus looks like it is trying to push it a bit further this time with better cooling and possibly a faster display.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="733" height="234" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Screenshot-2026-05-04-093857.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-737148" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Screenshot-2026-05-04-093857.png 733w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Screenshot-2026-05-04-093857-300x96.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Screenshot-2026-05-04-093857-696x222.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 733px) 100vw, 733px" /></figure></div>

<p>As of now, a lot of the details are still up in the air. Things like battery size, camera hardware, and final design have not really been locked in publicly. But if even half of these leaks hold up, the Ace 7 could end up being one of the more interesting performance-focused phones in its segment when it arrives.</p>
