This time, the company revealed certain key features regarding the upcoming smartphones’ display, which is an AMOLED panel.

On its official Weibo account (a Chinese microblogging website), the company shared that the AMOLED panel would help make the device even lighter and thinner. Furthermore, it would sport a punch hole selfie camera that is quite small while the screen’s bezels are also negligible. Its punch hole cut out measures just 2.96mm while its bezels measure 1.75mm. The panel will offer 120Hz high refresh rate, along with 360Hz touch sampling rate as well as offering DCI P3 wide color gamut.

While the Chinese tech giant revealed this information regarding the Redmi Note 11 series, a known tipster also shared additional details as well. According to @数码闲聊站 the new high refresh rate AMOLED panel with a punch hole cut out was made by Samsung. He added that the screen from the South Korean tech giant is not expensive, which should help keep the cost of the handset down as well. As of right now, the higher end Note 11 Pro is confirmed to feature a 120Hz AMOLED screen, while the base variant is expected to still arrive with an LCD panel.

That launch is for the iPhone 13 series among other products it plans to unveil next week. While there are lots of folks excited about the next-gen iPhones, a fresh leak has revealed their excitement should be directed at next year’s iPhone 14. Yes, the iPhone 14 just leaked and it brings big changes.

The leak comes from Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech(FPT) who revealed the design of the iPhone 14 on the latest episode of FPT. The renders are said to be based on design images provided by inside sources.

The big change the iPhone 14 Pro Max brings is the centered punch-hole display, bringing an end to the notch that has graced the front of Apple’s smartphones since the 2017 iPhone X. However, there is a possibility Apple will retain the notch for the other models. The punch hole is pretty small much like what a lot of Android phones offer. If you are wondering where Face ID is, Jon Prosser said the sensors most likely are now under the display. There is a slit above the punch hole for the earpiece.

Apple has also made a slight design change on the rear. While the camera arrangement is largely unchanged, the sensors are now flush with the rest of the body. Another big change that is more or less a return to an earlier design is the shape of the volume buttons. They are now round like those of the iPhone 4 instead of pill-shaped like the iPhone 12 series.

The iPhone 14 series will also feature a titanium frame which should make the phones more durable. The speaker grille is also like that of the iPhone 4 but longer. However, Apple is still sticking to a lightning port for next year.

This leak is really really early, thus we advise our readers to take it with a pinch of salt. Manufacturers can and do change designs, so while this may be correct now, the iPhone 14 series may not look like this when it arrives next year.

The rumor is for the Galaxy S30 series, which will apparently still feature a punch hole display on the front.

For those unaware, the next gen selfie shooters in flagship handsets are expected to make a shift towards under display sensors, which are expected to be more common next year. Although, it seems like the South Korean tech giant will refrain from making this shift for a while longer. The news arrives from @数码闲聊站 who believes that the company will still ship the Galaxy S30 lineup with punch hole cameras on the front due to the maturity of the technology.

The tipster added that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be the first from the brand to feature an under display camera. However, the next gen flagship Galaxy S30 series will still feature a punch hole shooter on the front owing to the company’s maturity with this particular camera technology in its smartphones. In other words, the company might be going for the older but more reliable technology while it perfects the newer one’s implementation.

Reportedly, the punch hole shooter on the Galaxy S30 series will be housed in the top center region of the display, while its primary rear image sensor will still sport 100 megapixel camera. While some rumors had pointed at a 200 megapixel sensor on the Galaxy S30 Ultra, other reports claim that the company will offer a more refined 100 megapixel image for the upcoming flagship series. Keep in mind, this is still an unconfirmed report and it is still too early to talk about the Galaxy S30 lineup, so take this news with a pinch of salt for now and stay tuned for more updates.

The known tipster stated that while smartphones with under display camera technology are expected to debut sometime in the third quarter of this year, most premium devices next year would still skip this new camera technology.

The blogger further added that some phone makers will be the first to launch handsets with the under display cameras, but this technology still wouldn’t be widely adopted in the overall smartphone market. At the moment, certain OEM’s like Xiaomi are working devices with under display cameras. Similarly, Samsung is expected to unveil a handset with a high resolution selfie camera under the screen sometime in August of this year.

As reported by 91Mobiles, Samsung Russia’s official support page has listed a model number SM-A125F/DSN. Now, if we recall, an earlier report said that Samsung Galaxy A12 will have a model number SM-A125F. The new listing on Samsung’s support page is similar and corroborates the previous info. That said, apart from the model number, there is no info on the page.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Specifications(Expected)

However, thanks to early reports we know what features the device will likely bring to the table. As per a recent Geekbench listing, Galaxy A12 will sport the MediaTek’s Helio P35 SoC. This is a departure from the Qualcomm (Snapdragon 450 SoC) on the predecessor Galaxy A11. While the device tested on Geekbench had 3GB RAM, reports say that it will come with 32GB, and 64GB storage options. Hence, we can expect a higher 4GB variant as well.

Furthermore, reports say that the Galaxy A12 will be very similar to the predecessor. Thus, we can expect features like a punch-hole display at the front. At the back, the device is expected to retain the physical fingerprint sensor(capacitive) and come in Black, White, Blue, and Red colors.

That said, it will likely have other features like microSD card support, Android 10, triple rear cameras, NFC, and more. Precisely, if the device were to be similar to the Galaxy A11 as reports say, it could feature an HD+ display, 4,000mAh(or higher) battery with 15W fast charging. Let’s wait for concrete info to confirm the same but in any case, the listing suggests that the launch is very near.

A new leak has revealed the date for the launch of OnePlus’s third phone this year.

According to leaker Max J. (@MaxJmb), the OnePlus Z will be announced in July. The leaker shared an image on Twitter confirming the phone’s release date.

The OnePlus Z was originally expected to launch alongside the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro but didn’t. OnePlus even teased that there would be a surprise product at the Chinese launch of the OnePlus 8 series and we thought it would be the OnePlus Z but there actually wasn’t any surprise product.

We do not know if the July release is the OnePlus originally planned or if it actually postponed the launch of the phone. Nevertheless, we now know that the phone is still coming even though there is no specific date yet and we do not know which market it will launch in first.

The OnePlus Z will have a punch-hole display with the hole in the middle of the screen rather than on the left side like that of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The screen is said to be 6.4-inches in size and has a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is also rumored to have a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 5G processor inside it. Other features are a 48MP triple camera setup, a 4000mAh battery, and support for 30W fast charging.

However, depending on the phone, the hole can be placed at the top left corner, center, or top right corner of the display. Other differences will be the size of the hole with some housing a single camera while other will have dual cameras.

Today, an unknown phone with a punch hole for dual cameras has surfaced on the web. While this is not the first device to have this a punch hole for dual selfie cameras, it is the configuration that makes it unique.

According to Tech YouTuber, Arun Maini a.k.a. Mrwhosetheboss, who shared the photo, the unnamed phone is the first in the world with 44MP dual selfie cameras.

Holding an unreleased smartphone right now, with world's FIRST 44MP Dual Punch-hole front camera…

Can anyone guess from which company? pic.twitter.com/A0VhiXxJog

— Arun Maini (@Mrwhosetheboss) January 20, 2020

The highest selfie camera we have seen on a phone is 32MP but a leak from last week revealed Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will have a 40MP selfie camera. It seems this unnamed manufacturer doesn’t want Samsung to hold on to the title for too long.

The manufacturer and the model of the phone is unknown and so also is the camera sensor which is probably custom-made for the device. It is important to mention that Samsung did announce a 43.7MP sensor last year called the ISOCELL Slim GH1. This is the closest sensor we can think of.

There are speculations as to the manufacturer of the phone. We believe it is an OPPO phone based on that battery icon. However, the identity of the phone itself remains unknown but we are pretty sure it is not the Find X2. Reports say the Find X2 will have a single punch-hole and the display will be curved. The phone in the image has a flat display, and other than the dual selfie cameras, it looks uninteresting.

Nevertheless, do share your guesses as to the manufacturer and the model of the phone in the comment box below.

Initially thought to have a single hole that houses two front-facing cameras, it was later revealed to be two separate holes and not one pill-shaped hole. It has now been reported that Xiaomi is working on a phone with a single punch hole.

The info comes from the Chinese leakster who goes by @Digital Chat Station on Weibo. In a post made earlier today, he revealed that Xiaomi is working on a mysterious phone with a single punch hole in the screen.

The punch hole for the phone is on the upper left corner unlike the ones of the Redmi K30 that are placed at the upper right corner. He also did mention that the size of the hole is larger than that of Vivo’s (X30) own which is 2.98 millimeters in diameter.

We have no idea which device this may be as Xiaomi and Redmi have a number of phones coming up in the first quarter. However, there is a high chance it will be a flagship phone.

There are speculations that the Mi 10 will have a punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate. So this mysterious might be the Mi 10.

Display notches are essentially a cut-out, at the top, of a part of the smartphone’s display. With display notches, smartphone OEMs are able to provide maximum screen space without abandoning the critical hardware at the top, such as the Selfie Camera, Receiver Speaker, other Sensor, LED Indicators. However, the design style has often come under criticism for distorting the display symmetry of the phones but that did not stop the rapid rise of the design. In less than 4 years after its adoption, the steady shift to punch-hole design has come under scrutiny. Realme‘s product director Wang Wei Derek offered some reasons why OEMs seem to be shifting to punch-hole design.

EDITOR’S PICK: First Samples from the 108MP Mi Mix Alpha is here & we are not impressed!

Mr Wang stated that one of the reasons for the shift is aesthetic fatigue of the waterdrop notch by users and manufacturers alike. In other words, we all are getting tired of the design style. Thus, the change in design pattern is a way of attracting users’ attention and improve market competitiveness.

Another reason he adduced is the popularity of the pop-up camera design among users who love to have that immersive full-screen design unobstructed by a notch of any sort. However, the punch-hole design is the closest and cheapest way to achieve the notch-less design without using a pop-up camera design. Manufacturers have to think of an alternative based on the cost of pop-up design and need for 5G phones with demand for a big battery.

In case you are at a fix why most of the punch-hole designs aren’t a single-hole design, Wang suggested what OEMs consider before going for a wide or single punch-hole.
1. Function-oriented: The purpose is nothing more than improving the user’s functional experience, such as adding a wide-angle camera to enhance the group selfie shooting experience. The design also allows for the adding of smart sensors to assist in the smart operation of mobile phones. Also, a Bokeh camera could also be added to give blur effects to selfies among other reasons.
2. Appearance-oriented: In terms of appearance, the single punch-hole design is usually more visually appealing. No doubt about this but some features have to be sacrificed like a powerful selfie camera.

With the current pace, most of the smartphones next year will likely have the punch-hole design, especially as OLED punch-hole displays are not being supplied by Chinese display manufacturers. Do you agree? Let us know what you think in the comment section.

Actually, it will be the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the chipset. The technical specs of the processor will be announced on Day 2 of the Qualcomm Tech Summit, so curious minds can check back later today.

Now, the latest teaser poster for the upcoming phone confirms the screen size along with the design Redmi has adopted for its next phone.

The Redmi K30 5G will have a 6.67-inch screen, a bump in size from the 6.39-inch screen of the Redmi K20. The display will have a 2nd-generation punch hole that is 4.38 millimeters in size.

Redmi says they decided to place the hole on the right side of the device so as to follow the traditional habit of reading from left to right. The punch hole will house two cameras whose configurations are yet to be officially revealed.

The Redmi K30 5G will have AG frosted glass covering the back, similar to what we have seen on some smartphones such as the OnePlus 7T. Redmi GM, Lu Weibing, said that even with the large screen size, users can still have a firm grip on the phone when held.

In a separate post, the Redmi executive explained why the punch-hole display will be the trend for devices in 2020, most especially flagships.

Mr. Weibing said while a pop-up selfie camera design is the best way to achieve a true full-screen design, it has its disadvantages. First, the design increases the overall thickness of the device. It also takes up space which is required for 5G antennas. However, with a punch-hole design, a device can remain thin and light. He also added that the punch-hole design is an evolutionary step to the next design which is the in-display camera design.

Once again, the source of the renders is @OnLeaks and he has partnered with Pricebaba this time. The Galaxy S11e will succeed the Galaxy S10e, and it too should be the most affordable version of the series.

The renders show that Samsung will adopt the same design for the Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11e. So we are getting a punch-hole display similar to that of the Galaxy Note10. The punch-hole is not the only design change the Galaxy S11e will have. The phone will also get a curved display rather than a flat one like that of the S10e.

Samsung is also going with the same rear camera design as the Galaxy S11. However, rather than five cameras, there are three cameras, one more sensor than that of its predecessor, along with the LED flash inside the housing.

Also, the Galaxy S11e will ditch the side-mounted fingerprint scanner of the Galaxy S10e for an in-display sensor when it arrives next year.

The bottom of the phone is home to a USB Type-C port and it is flanked on the left by the primary microphone and on the right by the speaker grille. The right side of the device houses the volume and power buttons. OnLeaks says the device is missing a SIM tray slot in the renders because he’s not sure where it will be. However, based on the S10e, the SIM tray will most likely remain at the top.

The Galaxy S11e will have a display size between 6.2 and 6.3-inches. Its dimensions are given as 151.7 x 69.1 x 9.1 millimeters (adding the camera bump). The phone should also come with a Snapdragon 865 processor (or Samsung’s Exynos flagship SoC). There will be 6GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The phone is also expected to have a larger battery capacity (up to 4000mAh) and it should run OneUi 2.0 based on Android 10 out of the box.

Not only is the hole smaller but it is also positioned in the upper middle portion of the screen and not on the right. That design will no longer be exclusive to the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ as a new leak has revealed the upcoming Galaxy A71 will feature a similar design.

The leak is a set of 3D renders courtesy of seasoned leakster, Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as OnLeaks. This time, he has partnered with CashKaro. The renders give us an early look at the Galaxy A71’s design.

Samsung has shaved the bezels off on three of the sides and left just a few millimeters at the bottom. The display is most definitely AMOLED but the hole appears to be slightly bigger than that of the Galaxy Note10’s.

On the back, the Galaxy A71 features a rectangular camera bump similar to that of the Smartisan Nut Pro 3. The camera housing is big and holds four cameras arranged in an L-shape. There is also an LED flash beside the sensors.

The black camera housing sticks out like a sore thumb against the phone’s white rear panel but it should be less noticeable on a black variant, that is if there will be one. The back is curved on the sides for a better grip. Since there is no fingerprint scanner on the back, there is definitely one under the screen.

The Galaxy A71 has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and it is flanked by the speaker grille and primary microphone on the right and the 3.5mm audio jack on the left. The SIM tray is on the left side of the frame while the volume and power buttons are on the right.

OnLeaks says the display is 6.7-inches and the phone measures 163.5 x 76 x 9.2 millimeters (including the bump’s thickness).

It has been reported that the Galaxy A71 will be powered by the Exynos 980 processor which means it will have support for 5G. Its model number has been revealed to be SM-A7160 and there are rumors it will launch in China first.

The Galaxy A71 is not the only A-series phone with this design. The upcoming Galaxy A51 whose renders were also leaked by OnLeaks has the same punch-hole screen and rear camera design.

Huawei’s official Weibo account has shared the first video advert that confirms the Nova 6 5G is coming soon. The short video gives us a good look at the front of the device and its punch-hole display which houses two cameras.

The Nova 6’s punch-hole is on the left side unlike that of Samsung’s Galaxy S10+ which has its own on the right. The bezels are not completely gone as there is still a bit of chin.

The phone’s volume rocker is visible on the right frame and just right after it, you can see the break in the frame where the indentation created for the side-mounted fingerprint scanner/power button.

https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Nova-6-5G.mp4

At the end of the video, Huawei reveals the Nova 6 5G will be able to shoot 105° super wide-angle selfies, no tanks to its secondary selfie camera.

A leak from earlier this month revealed the Huawei Nova 6 5G will have an LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Kirin 990 processor and will have a 4000mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging. Its dual front-facing cameras are reported to be a 32MP +12MP combo while the rear is said to house 60MP + 16MP + 2MP + 2MP quad cameras.

Huawei is yet to announce a release date but we will not be too surprised if it launches on November 25 alongside the MatePad Pro tablet.

However, it has been 5 months already, and that is a long time in the smartphone industry. A successor called the Nova 6 5G is coming soon and a press render of the red variant has leaked.

The image was shared on Twitter by Evan Blass and it shows the Nova 6 5G in a color that can be called Sunset Red. The phone has a punch-hole in its display for two selfie cameras just like that of the Galaxy S10+ but on the opposite side.

Unlike the Nova 5 which has an AMOLED screen with a waterdrop notch, the Nova 6 5G has an LCD display which explains why it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and not an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, the phone is reported to have a 90Hz refresh rate, a first for a phone with an LCD display. This is the same display the Honor V30 5G has been reported to have.

The phone has triple rear cameras on the back and what we believe is a laser focus system flanks it on the right. Just like the Nova 5, it has the Nova branding at the bottom. You can also see the word “Nova” written multiple times across the back.

Although the Nova 5 isn’t a flagship phone, the Nova 6 5G will be since it has support for 5G and the Kirin 990 5G is Huawei’s only processor with an integrated 5G modem. The rest of its specs and camera configuration are still unknown. Its launch date is also still under wraps but we expect the Nova 6 5G will arrive later this month.

This is definitely good news for fans of the punch hole design as this means that there will be several other alternatives to the Galaxy S10 series. Based on this, we can say for sure that the Redmi K30’s dual-punch hole display will be an AMOLED screen. Its predecessor has an AMOLED screen albeit one with a notch and it will not make any sense to fall back to LCD for the Redmi K30.

The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro scheduled to arrive next year will also have punch hole displays and will definitely be AMOLED. We do not know other manufacturers that will jump on the train but there surely will be multiple options to choose from in the coming months.

The Vivo S5 will be announced on November 5. Other than its display and that it will come with quad rear cameras, the rest of the phone’s specs are still unknown.

The source, like all other 3D renders is OnLeaks and this time he has partnered with CashKaro. The renders are based on actual leaked dimensions and engineering drawings.

For the OnePlus 8, OnePlus is ditching the waterdrop notch of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T in favor of a punch-hole. The display is curved on the sides like that of the OnePlus 7 Pro.

The phone measures 160.2 x 72.9 x 8.1 millimeters with a display that roughly measures 6.5-inches. The screen is definitely AMOLED and there is an in-display fingerprint scanner too. Oh! And of course, it has a 90Hz refresh rate since OnePlus already said that all its future phones will have 90Hz Fluid Displays.

[envira-gallery id=”280593″]

On the rear, OnePlus is keeping the vertical camera setup of the OnePlus 7 but this time around there are three cameras just like we have on the new OnePlus 7T. Below the camera housing which protrudes is an LED flash and the OnePlus logo.

The OnePlus 8 has its power button and alert slider on the right while the volume rocker is on the left. The SIM tray is at the bottom. There are antenna lines at the top, sides, and bottom of the frame. The bottom speaker is also now a slit and not a grille. There is also no grille for the primary microphone.

It has also been reported that the OnePlus 8 will have support for Wireless Charging but we don’t know the power rating.

The OnePlus 8 will also have a Pro version but we also don’t know what it will look like. We presume it will retain the pop-up camera design but maybe come with four rear cameras. Both phones should come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor.

Do share your opinion about the OnePlus 8’s design in the comment box.

That may be changing soon as the Korean electronics company has patented a design for a phone with a punch-hole display.

According to LetsGoDigital, LG Display was granted a patent for a display with a pill-shaped punch-hole back in November 2018. This year a new patent was filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office in March this year for a phone with the display design. The patent was actually granted in April 2019 and the document even includes an image of the phone’s camera app.

The phone has a notch similar to that of the Galaxy S10 5G but positioned in the middle instead of on the right. There is a single camera inside the hole and it is flanked by sensors on each side. The display has curved corners and the bezels surrounding it are slim and are of equal thickness.

LG has confirmed that it will be attending IFA Berlin 2019 where it should announce at least one new phone. We do not know if a phone with this design will be unveiled at the event. If it does launch, it may arrive as the LG V60 ThinQ.

LG is also expected to announce a dual-display device at the event based on hints from the video. Last month, they got granted the trademark for “LG Folds”, we believe this is the official name of the device that was teased in the video.

The Z series already has 6 phones with the latest model being the Vivo Z3x. Now details of a new member called the Vivo Z5x have surfaced. The leak, which originated from Weibo, not only reveals some of the phone’s specs but also includes a live photo.

One of the biggest changes Vivo is making to the Z series with the Z5x will be its display. While previous models have had a notch (waterdrop or wide), the Z5x will have a punch hole in its display for the camera.

In the image above, the Z5X is pictured beside another phone which doesn’t have a notch or punch hole. Save for the punch hole in the Vivo Z5X’s display, both phones are nearly identical.

The source says the phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery, the biggest of any Vivo Z series smartphone. From the image, it seems Vivo has been able to keep the thickness of the phone under check.

There are still a lot more unknown details about the phone but there are speculations it may come with a Snapdragon 675 processor. A release date is also still unknown, though we don’t expect it to launch soon seeing as the Vivo Z3x was announced just last month.

The lineup will include the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro. Ahead of the launch, renders and specs of the Honor 20 have surfaced on the web, thanks to Winfuture.de.

The Honor 20 will have an IPS-LCD display that skips the notch for a punch hole. The display which is 6.26-inches is smaller than that of the Honor View 20. It has a resolution of 2340 x 1080 and a pixel density of 412. There is a slit in the frame above the display for the earpiece and there is a slightly thick chin.

The flagship is powered by the Kirin 980 and is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There will likely be other configurations but the above if for Europe. There is no mention of storage expansion and we do not expect one since the Honor 10 and Honor View 20 do not have one.

As revealed in a leak by Twitter user @Rodent950, the Honor 20 has a quad camera setup and these new renders not only confirm that but also the design. Three of the camera sensors are stacked on top of one another and share the same housing with the LED flash. The fourth sensor is on the right of the third camera. Written on the back of the phone is “48MP AI VISION”.

[envira-gallery id=”253180″]

The primary camera is a 48MP sensor, and it is paired with a 16MP Super Wide Angle camera, a 2MP Depth Assist camera, and a 2MP Macro camera for macro photography. The front-facing camera is reported to be a 32MP sensor.

The Honor 20 doesn’t have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also does not have an in-display fingerprint scanner since it is an IPS-LCD display. Honor has settled for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as the power button.

The phone has a 3750mAh battery that supports 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging. It charges via a USB Type-C port and runs Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top. The Honor 20 will be available in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. There are reports of a Moschino Edition that should have a red coat of paint. Pricing information is unavailable.

The Huawei P20 Lite 2019 is its latest attempt at doing so. The last time it pulled such a trick was in 2017 when it launched the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 a.k.a. Huawei P9 Lite (2017) which is totally different from the 2015 Huawei P8 Lite.

Renders of the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 along with its specs and price have surfaced thanks to Winfuture.de. The phone is a successor to last year’s Huawei P20 Lite and it comes with a bunch of new features and a pretty nice design.

The Huawei P20 Lite 2019 ditches the notch of its predecessor for a punch hole display. The hole is pretty small and is positioned at the top left corner of the display. There is a bit of bezel at the bottom but that is expected. The screen is still 5.84-inches and the resolution is FHD+.

On the back, the phone packs a quad camera setup, a big upgrade from the dual camera setup of last year’s edition. The primary rear camera is said to be a 24MP f/1.8 sensor but the resolution of the other sensors are unknown. Three of the cameras are arranged vertically while the fourth is housed separately. We believe one of the sensors is an ultra-wide angle camera while another should be a depth sensor. Images of the device show it has a camera bump.

[envira-gallery id=”253033″]

Winfuture reports the phone is powered by the Kirin 710 processor and it is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of expandable storage. Battery capacity is expected to remain unchanged since the screen size hasn’t increased, so expect a 3000mAh battery.

The Huawei P20 Lite 2019 will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and dual-SIM support. It will be available in blue, black, and red. The last two colors have a gradient finish. It will also have a plastic frame.

READ MORE: Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 official listing: A P Smart Z with an extra camera

The phone is expected to sell for between €280 to €330. Some retailers in Italy are said to have it listed for €329 while a Swiss listing puts the price at €279. Notwithstanding, pricing will be based on the variant you wish to purchase.

Expect the phone to launch under a different name(s) in some other markets.

The Galaxy A60 will be joining the Galaxy A8s as part of Samsung‘s lineup with a punch hole Ininfity-O display. The hole is in the top left corner and is home to a 32MP sensor. The TENAA listing already revealed it is a 6.3-inch FHD+ display.

The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 675 processor just like the Galaxy A70 and it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. TENAA says there is also an 8GB RAM version and a 64GB storage variant.

The leak also shows us the rear of the Galaxy A60 which is home to three cameras. The cameras (16MP + 8MP + 5MP) sensors are arranged vertically with an LED flash below the sensors and a fingerprint scanner in the middle. The color variant in the image appears to be a mix of blue, green, and yellow.

There have been a bunch of leaks in the past but a lot of them have turned out to be false. Today’s leak is an alleged video of the phone which some have tagged the “Redmi Pro 2”. We advise you to take it with a grain of salt.

The Redmi flagship has been confirmed not to feature a pop-up selfie camera and this video which was originally shared on Weibo further confirms that. What it does have is a punch hole in the display for the selfie camera.

Unlike other phones with a punch hole that we have seen, the one on this alleged Redmi flagship is right in the middle of the upper part of the display and not at the corners like that of the Honor View 20 or Galaxy S10.

The phone has minimal bezels on the sides while the one at the bottom is a bit thicker. The display is probably in the 6.0 to 6.3-inches range and most likely has an FHD+ resolution.

On the rear, the Redmi phone has triple cameras in the same fashion as the ones on the Mi 9. There is an LED flash below the cameras and in the middle of the phone is a fingerprint scanner. There is no branding on the device which means it is probably a prototype.

As we said, there is no proof this is the Redmi flagship. The design isn’t extraordinary but since this is supposed to be a lot more affordable than other flagships, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Renders of a device said to be the Nokia 8.1 Plus has surfaced and it shows Nokia will also adopt the punch hole display trend this year.

The renders are from OnLeaks in collaboration with 91Mobiles. The Nokia 8.1 Plus as shown in the images and video has slimmer bezels than the upcoming Nokia 9 flagship thanks to its punch hole display design which means the top bezel can be made as slim as possible. The punch hole display is on the left of the screen just like that of the Samsung Galaxy A8s but it appears to be much smaller.

[envira-gallery id=”231574″]

The phone is said to pack a 6.22-inch display and measures ~156.9 x 76.2 x 7.9 mm. The chin is pretty small but there is still a Nokia logo there. It appears HMD Global wants its phone to be easily recognizable since a lot of manufacturers will be using a similar design.

On the back, the Nokia 8.1 Plus has dual cameras arranged vertically. They are Carl Zeiss lens and there is an LED flash below the sensors. There is also a fingerprint scanner, a Nokia logo, and the Android One branding on the glass-covered back.

The phone has an audio jack at the top and a USB-C port at the bottom flanked by a speaker grille on the left and a microphone on the right. The volume and power buttons are on the right side of the frame.

The specs are still unknown and there is no inkling on when it will be announced. However, we think this will likely be the phone that succeeds the Nokia 7 Plus.
