Infinix might be gearing up for the launch of the Note 50 series soon. These mid range devices are the successors of the Note 40 series. Just a while back, the base Infinix Note 50 was spotted grabbing a certification, and now, even the higher end Note 50 Pro has been sighted in another database. So here’s what we know so far.

Infinix Note 50 Pro spotted on SDPPI certification

The company’s upcoming Infinix Note 50 Pro recently visited the SDPPI database carrying the X6855 model number. Unfortunately, the certification listing did not reveal any finer details regarding this smartphone like its specs or availability. However, a recent FCC sighting revealed a lot more details. The Infinix Note 50 Pro will support NFC and arrive with at least one 12GB + 256GB storage configuration.

Design sketches also confirmed a dual tone design with a flat rear panel and large octagonal camera module. To recall, the vanilla Infinix Note 50 was also spotted on the FCC database with the X6858 model number. It was revealed that the device will come in a green and pink color option and have a body that measures 9mm in thickness. The device will also support 45W wired fast charging as well.

So we can expect the more expensive Pro model to also offer similar colors and with a similar if not higher wired fast charging rate. The older Infinix Note 40 Pro came with support for wireless fast charging as well. The brand may release the Note 50 series in multiple models that could include the Note 50, Note 50X, Note 50 Pro, and Note 50 Pro Plus 5G. POCO is working on a new mid range smartphone from its M series. The device in question is the POCO M7 Pro 5G, which recently surfaced on a fresh certification. This sighting hints at its imminent launch so here’s everything we know so far.

POCO M7 Pro 5G Visits Indonesia’s SDPPI

The Chinese smartphone maker’s POCO M7 Pro 5G was spotted in Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform (Via TheTechOutlook). It was seen carrying the 2409FPCC4G model number, with the “G” likely referring to the global variant. As the name suggests, it is likely the successor to the POCO M6 Pro 5G that launched back in 2023. The POCO M7 Pro 5G was seen in multiple certifications recently, and the SDPPI sighting hints at its imminent global release.

Unfortunately, the Indonesian certification does not reveal any finer details like its specs or features. Although it does confirm its POCO M7 Pro 5G moniker. Back in September 2024, the POCO M7 Pro 5G had its design and certain specs revealed via FCC. The smartphone can be seen with a dual tone rear panel with a green marble like finish. The upcoming budget phone can also be seen with a dual camera setup housed in a rectangular module. That listing confirmed support for basic connectivity options like NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 5G NR bands.

The smartphone might be a cutdown variant of the Redmi Note 14 5G. So we could get a 50-megapixel main camera on the rear, while the front sports a 1.5K AMOLED display. Under the hood, it might be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. This device should run on the company’s Android OS based HyperOS custom skin out of the box and offer at least 128GB of base internal storage. This new phone continued the legacy of the brand’s highly successful mid range Note series, and now, it seems that its global release is right around the corner as well. The Redmi Note 14 5G visited a certification recently, so here’s what we know so far.

Redmi Note 14 5G Certified in Indonesia

The Chinese tech giant’s Redmi Note 14 5G was spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification database. The platform lists the smartphone with the 24094RAD4G model number along with its moniker. This sighting hints that the global launch of the Note 14 could be near. This certification sighting arrived days after the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ got clearance for launch in India. This same model even beat Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro Max in terms of popularity. Notably, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series is expected to launch globally with a 200-megapixel primary camera.

Unfortunately, the certification did not reveal any finer details, such as its specifications, features, and more. But based on the Chinese launch, the Redmi Note 14 5G sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,100 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

A massive 5,110mAh battery pack powers this model that supports 45W wired fast charging. It runs on the Android 14 OS based HyperOS custom skin out of the box. For optics, the rear has a 50-megapixel dual camera setup while the rear has a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, side mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, dual SIM, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for screen protection on the front.

Oppo is working on its next generation of flagship smartphones dubbed the Find X8 series. But before its official announcement, the upcoming high-end Find X8 was spotted on certification platforms, confirming that it will be launched in India. So here’s what we know so far.

Oppo Find X8 visits BIS & SDPPI

The Chinese smartphone maker has yet to officially confirm the launch event of the Find X8 series. However, fresh certifications have hinted that the global launch might be right around the corner. We say global since the Oppo Find X8 was spotted on India’s BIS as well as Indonesia’s SDPPI database. Oppo Find X8 was listed with the CPH2651 model number. Unfortunately, neither of these certifications reveals any finer details regarding the new flagship phone.

However, a company official recently confirmed some of its specs on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). Zhou Yibao, Head of Oppo Find series, states that the Find X8 series will sport a flat display with minimal and uniform bezels on all sides. The screen will also be surrounded by a metal frame, while its body will be noticeable thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Apart from the design, Zhou also confirmed Find X8’s support for 50W wireless fast charging and reverse wireless charging support. He confirmed that the phone will come with a compatible magnetic protective case in the box.

Certain classic features are also returning like the infrared remote control, smart NFC, three stage mute slider, and more. Other notable features included MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, a large 5,700mAh battery pack, 80W wired fast charging, and up to 16GB of RAM. An upcoming smartwatch from Vivo has just surfaced online. The Vivo Watch 3 was launched in China back in November 2023. But now, it appears that its global release is also right around the corner. The wearable was spotted getting certified in Singapore, so here are all the details.

Vivo Watch 3 surfaced on SDPPI

The Chinese brand’s smartwatch was certified on the SDPPI database. It was spotted carrying the V2405 model number. Unfortunately, the certification does not confirm any finer details like its specs, design, or pricing. But we can expect the global variant to be identical to the Chinese version. Just recently, the Vivo Watch 3 ECG version debuted in China with a premium look, which may also arrive in the global market.

Talking about the specs, the Vivo Watch 3 sports a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display that offers an Always-on Display, 3D curved glass, and 466 x 466 resolution. This model runs on the company’s proprietary BlueOS and offers 4GB of internal storage paired with 64MB of RAM. A 505mAh battery pack powers this smartwatch. Vivo had initially claimed that this smartwatch could offer up to 16 days of battery life on a single full charge. However, the brand later admitted to error in its claims. So you can expect around 7 days of battery life with regular use.

The Vivo Watch 3 features a slimmer form factor compared to its predecessor. It comes with a stainless steel along with a rotating crown as well as a physical button. It also comes with 5ATM water resistance, which promises protection up to 5 meters of submersion. The wearable features a heart-rate monitor and a SpO2 blood oxygen sensor. Two new HyperOS devices have just been spotted in an Indonesian certification platform. These are the Redmi Pad Pro and the POCO F6. The upcoming tablet and smartphone’s latest sighting hints at an imminent global launch. So let’s have a look.

Redmi Pad Pro

But following its Chinese launch, it was also spotted on other overseas certifications like FCC, Google Play Console, IMDA, and now even SDPPI.

The tablet was spotted with the 2405CRPFDG model number, which belongs to the WiFi only variant of the Redmi Pad Pro. This tablet originally launched with a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, 10,000mAh battery pack, and more. So we can expect the global variant to feature identical specifications.

POCO F6

Another HyperOS-powered device that was spotted on the SDPPI certification was the POCO F6. It was listed with the 24069PC21G model number. Similar to the Redmi Pad Pro, the POCO F6 has also been launched in China before, but under a different name. The POCO F6 could be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 3.

The SDPPI sighting also hints that a global launch for this smartphone is also near. It was previously spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification as well. For those unaware, the Redmi Turbo 3 came with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a 5000mAh battery pack, 90W fast charging, and a 50MP main camera. So these could make a return on the POCO F6 as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 launch nears

The South Korean tech giant’s upcoming tablet visited the SDPPI database carrying the SM-P620 model number. This was for the WiFi only variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024. Just recently, the tablet was spotted on the TDRA, Bluetooth SIG, FCC, and UL certifications as well. The official support page of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 also went live in Hong Kong.

Unfortunately, both the new certification and support page do not reveal any finer details regarding this tablet except the SM-P620 model number for the WiFi only version. Based on our previous report, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is expected to sport a 10.4-inch LCD panel that offers 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution with a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. On the other hand, the rear packs an 8-megapixel shooter that lacks a flash.

Under the hood, the 2024 edition of the tablet is expected to be equipped with the Exynos 1280 SoC. This chipset will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory could be further expanded via a microSD card slot. A large 7,040mAh battery pack may power this device, which could offer 15W wired fast charging. This tablet will likely arrive with support for the S Pen stylus as well.

Following a poster leak and its appearance on the GSMA IMEI database, the Vivo V30 Pro has arrived on Indonesia’s SDPPI. The listing confirms the upcoming launch of the Vivo V30 Pro but fails to confirm any specifications or features of the smartphone. As per previous leaks, the smartphone seems to debut alongside the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Lite. Surprisingly, among the trio, the Vivo V30 has already been launched in Mexico.

Any other details about the Vivo V30 Pro are missing on the SDPPI listing. However, the Vivo V30 Series was recently leaked in a poster, confirming some design aspects. The front design features a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and a curved display panel with thin bezels on the sides. The back showcases a squarish camera module. The presence of a curved display, noticeable bezels, and other design elements are highlighted in the leaked poster.

Vivo V30 Series Specifications (Rumored)

The Vivo V30 series was spotted on various certifications, including NBTC, TDRA, NCC, Bluetooth SIG, and GeekBench, indicating an imminent launch.

Details about the Vivo V30 Pro specifications are scarce at the moment. However, its younger sibling, the Vivo V30, is anticipated to feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Running on FunTouch OS 14-based Android 14, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, offering up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support and features an under-display fingerprint scanner for security. Camera specifications include an autofocus-enabled 50-megapixel front camera with dual-LED flash and a rear camera setup comprising an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an Aura LED flash unit. As of now, there is no information available regarding the price of the Vivo V30.
