For those unaware, Mishaal Rahman noticed that the SIM card tray was missing from the OnLeaks renders of the Pixel 8 series, leading to speculation that these phones might have eSIM support in some regions. However, the report suggests that the renders may have missed the SIM tray details. The Google Pixel 8 is rumored to be powered by a Tensor G3 SoC, Google’s self-developed chip with two available storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The device will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 2992 x 1344 pixel resolution. Lastly, the smartphone is speculated to have a 50MP rear camera and 64MP (ultra-wide-angle lens).
