Redmi has confirmed that the Note 17 series will make its debut in China on July 14. The first Redmi Note 17 Pro color, called Sky Blue, features a blue sky and white cloud-inspired finish rather than a standard solid or gradient design. The series is also expected to be available in a purple option inspired by a starry night sky.
Reports suggest that Redmi will launch only the standard Note 17 and Note 17 Pro, dropping the Pro+ variant that has been part of the lineup for several generations. The standard model is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, a 1.5K OLED display, a 9,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel primary camera, stereo speakers, and advanced dust and water resistance.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to switch to the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor while increasing battery capacity to 10,000mAh. It is also tipped to include a 1.5K display, a 200-megapixel primary camera, and the same focus on durability with enhanced drop resistance and waterproofing.

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 in China, expanding its growing portfolio of smart home cleaning appliances. The new wet-and-dry floor cleaner is now available for pre-order on JD.com at 1,645 yuan (around $242).

The device features three distinct cleaning modes and utilizes a real-time fresh-water system that continuously washes the roller brush during operation to prevent spreading dirty water across the floor.
To handle hair wrap, Xiaomi has implemented a four-layer anti-tangle system. The company says that the system has passed TÜV SÜD testing and is capable of processing up to 3,000 strands of wet hair without jamming the brush.
In terms of physical design, Xiaomi placed the 1,000mL clean water tank lower on the device. This shifts the center of gravity downward, which the company says reduces hand strain by 25% while increasing the brush’s natural pressure on the floor by 10%. The device also features a 70-degree steering angle and forward traction assistance to make it easier to push around the house.
The washer supports a 180-degree flat-lay mode, allowing it to reach up to 104cm under low furniture like beds and cabinets. For water management, the device uses five specific control mechanisms, including precision dispensing and a TPE wastewater scraper to limit the amount of moisture left behind. The 700mL wastewater tank utilizes a solid-liquid separation design to keep physical debris separate from dirty water, which helps limit odors.
The Floor Scrubber 5 runs for up to 45 minutes on a single charge, covering an estimated 334 square meters. When placed in its charging base, it features a one-touch self-cleaning cycle that washes the roller and uses 100°C hot air to dry both the brush and the filter. The drying process operates at 45dB(A), keeping noise levels relatively low during post-clean maintenance.
Casio has added the A130WE series to its Vintage lineup, introducing a new range of digital watches that recreate the analog-LCD hybrid designs popular in the 1980s. The company is set to launch the series in Japan later this month, with the A130WE-3AJF and A130WE-9AJF priced at ¥8,800 ($54). The watches are now available for pre-order.
Design Details
The LCD splits into separate digital and analog-style sections. The upper left quadrant features a digital rendering of an analog clock with moving hands to display the local time.
The upper right section contains a graphic indicator that tracks the progress of the watch’s active functions, such as the timer or stopwatch. The bottom half of the screen functions as a standard digital display, showing the hour, minute, second, date, and day of the week.
For the exterior hardware, Casio is using an angular case made from chrome-plated resin. The watch measures 40.5 x 33.9 x 9 mm and weighs 54 grams. It comes paired with a self-adjustable stainless steel band and a resin glass cover over the display.

Baseus has launched its latest magnetic power bank, the Picogo Air AM71, to the global market after initially launching it in China earlier this year. The main selling point of this 5000mAh battery pack is its size.

To get the size down, Baseus used thinner internal components, including a 0.35mm charging coil and a 0.15mm NFC module, alongside a high-density battery cell. Wireless charging naturally generates heat, and thinner batteries often struggle with thermal management. To address this, the Picogo Air AM71 includes a few cooling measures. According to Baseus, it will charge a standard iPhone to about 68%, or a Pro Max model to 60%. It supports up to 15W for wireless charging. If you need faster speeds, you can plug a device directly into the USB-C port for up to 22.5W of wired output. Recharging the power bank itself maxes out at 20W through that same port.
The power bank comes with a built-in NFC tag. Tapping your phone against the power bank opens the Baseus app, which displays the battery pack’s remaining charge, current temperature, and overall battery health. The software also manages a trickle charging feature that lowers the power output when your phone reaches 80% to reduce wear on the battery.
The device has standard safety protections against overcharging and short circuits, and carries CCC certification. Baseus says it has passed standard durability tests, including temperature extremes and crush resistance.

With the latest update, the device completes its four years of security support, fulfilling the promise made at the launch event. That means the device is no longer eligible to receive any type of updates.
Nothing warns that the device may use more power and feel warmer during installation, which isn’t something to worry about. After every update, there’s a lot of background processing that happens behind the scenes, which can also drain the battery faster. But the device eventually returns to normal once the update is complete.

According to DCS’s latest Weibo post, a new Redmi performance-focused smartphone is currently slated to debut around January. While he did not explicitly mention the device’s name, the details shared suggest that he could be referring to the Redmi Turbo 6 Max.

Now that Google has shipped the stable Android 17 to eligible Pixel devices, other Android brands won’t take long to start rolling it out to their devices. Yesterday, iQOO India chief Nipun Maurya rolled out the first teaser of an upcoming Z-series phone. Today, he is back with a new X post to reveal that the upcoming device will be called the iQOO Z11 Lite. It also gives the first look at the rear design of the phone.
iQOO Z11 Lite design teased
As can be seen above, the iQOO Z11 Lite has a vertical camera module along with a ring LED flash. While the company has not confirmed any details about the phone’s specifications, it is confirmed to be sold via Amazon, which is not a surprise considering all iQOO phones are sold through this platform.
In the recent past, two unannounced iQOO devices have emerged in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking platform. These include phones with model numbers I2510 and I2514. As per reports, these devices are expected to hit the Indian market with monikers iQOO Z11 Lite and Z11.
At present, there is no clarity about the launch timeframe of the Dimensity 7500-powered iQOO Z11. However, the iQOO Z11 Lite’s launch seems imminent as its teasers have already begun.
The Z11 Lite’s Geekbench listing revealed that it will arrive with a Dimensity 6300-series chipset. It is also expected to have 8GB of RAM, OriginOS 6-based Android 16, and 44W fast charging.
The IQOO Z11 Lite is expected to be priced lower then the Z11x, which debuted with a price tag of Rs 18,999. Therefore, it appears that the Lite variant’s base model could be priced at around Rs 15,000.

Xiaomi unveiled its new 17T series globally in May. Like previous T-series phones, the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro are meant to bridge the gap between flagship killers and ultra-premium devices.
The Xiaomi 17T comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen, a Dimensity 8500 chip, and a 6,500 mAh battery. The Xiaomi 17T Pro steps things up with a bigger 6.83-inch 144Hz display, the faster Dimensity 9500 chip, a 7,000 mAh battery, and a Leica-tuned camera system with 5x optical zoom. You can read more about the differences between the two models here. Both phones also carry IP68 water resistance, meaning they can survive a dip in water for a short time.
If you just picked one of these phones up, congratulations. But before you start using it every day, there are a few simple things worth buying to protect it, charge it faster, and get more out of it. Here are the first five things you should add to your cart.
This one is the most obvious, but it’s also the most important. The Xiaomi 17T Pro has an aluminum frame and a glass back, while the standard 17T uses a plastic frame with a glass-fiber reinforced back. Both look great, but glass and metal don’t bounce back well from a hard drop onto concrete.
A simple silicone or TPU case adds a soft, shock-absorbing layer around the edges, which is exactly where most drops do their damage. If you want extra protection, look for a case with raised edges around the camera bump and the screen. This stops the lenses and glass from touching the ground directly if the phone lands face down or camera down.
For people who like a slimmer look, a clear hard case is a good middle ground. It shows off the phone’s color while still covering the corners. Either way, a case is cheap insurance against a repair bill that could cost far more than the phone’s actual value in accessories.

It’s more of a desk setup than a pocket charger, but it means your 17T Pro can charge wirelessly while a laptop, earbuds case, or power bank charges over a cable at the same time, all from one outlet.
4. A Pair of Wireless Earbuds
Neither the 17T nor the 17T Pro has a headphone jack, which is now the standard across most phones. That means Bluetooth earbuds are basically a requirement rather than an optional extra.

Neither the Xiaomi 17T nor the 17T Pro has a slot for a microSD card, so whatever storage size you bought is the storage you’re stuck with. The Pro model does offer a 1TB option in some markets, which gives plenty of breathing room, but it also costs a lot more. Meanwhile, the base models with 256GB can fill up fast if you take lots of photos or record videos.
Instead of hunting for accessories that promise external storage, it’s smarter to set up a cloud backup plan through Google Photos, Xiaomi Cloud, or another service you trust. This keeps your photos and videos safe even if something happens to the phone, and it frees up space without needing to delete anything permanently.
