The latest Redmi-branded wireless earbuds will be launched in India alongside the Xiaomi Pad 6. Let’s go through the details.
The Redmi Buds 4 Active is scheduled to launch in India on June 13. Xiaomi has put up a teaser page on its official website disclosing some of the features of the earphones.
The teasers reveal that these earbuds feature a stem, like the AirPods. However, unlike the Apple-branded TWS, these have support for Google Fast Pair.
Unfortunately, these buds don’t offer ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). Instead, they only arrive with ENC (Electronic Noise Cancellation) for calls.
Since the audio accessory is already official in other markets, we have access to the rest of the features that are not teased by the Indian division of Xiaomi.
The earbuds house 12mm drivers and connect with devices via Bluetooth 5.3. They are compatible with the Xiaomi Earbuds application, which can be installed on both Android and iOS smartphones/tablets.

iQOO is officially teasing the launch of iQOO Neo 7 Pro in India. On the other hand, there are reports suggesting that the Chinese division of the brand will soon debut the iQOO 11S. This smartphone seems to have been listed on the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) website.
A soon-to-be-released iQOO phone, identified by the model number V2304A, has been recently spotted on the MIIT regulatory authority website in China. OnePlus launched its first tablet last month called the OnePlus Pad. The device is excellent on a hardware level, however, the software feels a little rushed as we have discussed in our review of the tablet. The brand has however released updates to fix these issues, with the latest one focusing on improving the stylus experience along with swatting some known bugs.
OnePlus Pad update
The new update is currently being seeded to some French users of the device with firmware version, OPD2203_13.1.0.544(EX01). The brand is yet to make the official announcement on the community forum. However, community members have shared a screenshot of the update. According to the screenshot, the new update weighs 714MB and comes with a bunch of changes to the system along with two added features.
Notable additions include Multi-Screen Connect support, allowing users to connect multiple screens and a convenient feature that enables quick access to the Quick Note panel using the stylus. Furthermore, various enhancements have been made to improve stylus stability, touch control experience, system stability, and gaming performance. Additionally, the update addresses known issues with the Photos app, resolving an existing problem. However, it is currently unknown which problem the patch addresses.
It is unknown when this update will be released for other regions, however, looking at the brand’s track record, users in many regions across the globe can expect the OTA notification to pop up within a week. Samsung recently achieved the no.1 smartphone brand position in India, dethroning Xiaomi. Following this, the brand has now launched a new addition to its F series of smartphones. This mid-range device is officially called Galaxy F54 5G.
The Galaxy F54 5G is very similar to the Galaxy M54 5G, which has already been launched in several markets. As for the specifications, the device packs a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, up to 120Hz high refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The handset is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 SoC offering support for 5G. Users can also extend the storage by using the dedicated microSD card slot given. For biometrics, it uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Coming down to the cameras, the device offers a triple rear camera setup comprising an OIS-assisted 108-megapixel primary wide sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide unit, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, the device houses a 32-megapixel selfie snapper inside the punch hole cutout.
As for the battery, it is backed by a built-in 6000mAh battery with the support of 25W fast wired charging. The device boots up on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 right out of the box. Samsung promises 4 Android updates and 5 years of security updates.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the sole 8GB+256GB variant of the Galaxy F54 5G is priced at INR 27,999 inclusive of bank offers. It can be availed in either Meteor Blue or Stardust Silver color options.

OnePlus has finally launched the successor of the OnePlus Nord N20 5G smartphone in the US market called the OnePlus Nord N30 5G. This is essentially a rebrand of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite which was launched in Asia and Europe back in April. This is a lower mid-range 5G smartphone geared towards customers looking for the most bang for their buck.

The OnePlus Nord N30 5G boasts a 6.72-inch punch-hole display that is centrally aligned, offering FHD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It conveniently integrates a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which also doubles as the power button. The back panel houses two camera rings, while the device comes equipped with dual stereo speakers to enhance the audio experience.
With its triple rear camera setup, including a powerful 108MP main sensor capable of 3x lossless zoom, a 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro unit, the OnePlus Nord N30 5G delivers impressive photography capabilities. For selfies, it features a 16MP front-facing camera.

The OnePlus Nord N30 5G is available for pre-order on the official OnePlus US website at a price of $299.99. Shipping will commence from June 8. Customers who pre-book the smartphone will receive a complimentary pair of OnePlus Nord Buds 2 TWS earphones, valued at $59. The phone comes in two color options: Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray. However, only the Chromatic Gray color model is currently listed on the online store.
Xiaomi is reportedly set to unveil the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series smartphones in China. Industry reports suggest that these devices, expected to hit the market in November, will be powered by Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which may debut in October this year. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are rumored to feature periscope zoom cameras, alongside the previously announced Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Periscope zoom capabilities offer users enhanced optical zoom capabilities, enabling them to capture distant subjects with precision.
According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s periscope telephoto camera will offer 5x optical zoom with an impressive 115mm focal length. Meanwhile, its sibling, the Xiaomi 14, will have a periscope telephoto camera with 3.9x optical zoom and a shorter 90mm focal length. The leaker did not share any other information on the cameras in the Xiaomi 14 lineup.
Xiaomi 13
Previous reports have claimed that, like the Xiaomi 13 Pro, its successor will have three 50-megapixel cameras on its back. It is rumored to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a zoom camera. There is no information on the camera setup of the Xiaomi 14. As per reports, the front-facing camera of the Xiaomi 14 Pro will support 4K video recording, promising high-quality selfies and video calls.
Rumors have also circulated regarding the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s display options, suggesting the possibility of both flat and curved-edge display variants. Powering these variants will be sizable batteries, with both models expected to feature a 5,000mAh capacity. Furthermore, charging capabilities will differ between the models, with the Xiaomi 14 supporting up to 90W charging and the Pro variant potentially offering even faster 120W charging speeds.
Model numbers have been revealed for both devices, with the Xiaomi 14 carrying the designations 23127PN0CC (China) and 23127PN0CG (global). The model numbers 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG, on the other hand, belong to the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be launching next year. The ultimate flagship may debut in Q1 2024 in China.
