Accessories maker Mivi has added another product to its lineup in India. The Mivi DuoPods F40 comes on the heels of the earlier release of the DuoPods F60. The Mivi DuoPods F40 comes with 13mm drivers and up to 50 hours of playback overall. The new truly wireless earbuds will sell in India at an introductory price of Rs. 999 ($13).

Mivi is marketing the DuoPods F40 as the latest addition to its extensive lineup of innovative and unique products. It says the new earbuds provide the purest music experience among its class of truly wireless earbuds. The Mivi DuoPods F40 offers an excellent sound output and it is expected to have an overwhelming response from the market.

The Mivi DuoPods F40 offers environmental noise cancellation (ENC), Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and tap controls for calls. It also supports voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant. The 500mAh charging case of the Mivi DuoPods F40 supports fast charging via USB-C. The charging case also features a LED display that helps the user keep tabs on power usage.

The Mivi DuoPods F40 earbuds are rated IPX4 which offers protection from water and sweat. The product is already available on the Mivi website and Flipkart. There are no indications of the length of the introductory offer at this time. The Mivi DuoPods F40 is offered in five color variants in the subcontinent. These are black, white, blue, grey, and green colors.

A new Google wireless device has appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. It is rumored to be a low-end Chromecast HD streaming device with a 60Hz refresh rate. The FCC listing could indicate an imminent launch for the device with model number G454V.

As per the FCC listing, the new Google device features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Although there are scant details about the new Google hardware, some points are very visible. It is rumored that the new Chromecast HD will have a 1080p resolution. It also offers video streaming capability and different operating modes. The device will also have a USB cable as a charging accessory. Bandwidth speeds are up to 3Mbps while multiple WLAN functions are supported.

The previous naming convention for Google devices points in the direction of the Chromecast HD with Google TV. This is further evidenced by the 1080p resolution and 60Hz refresh rate of the device. The device was manufactured in Thailand and is expected to be priced lower than the 4K resolution Chromecast with Google TV. There are no specifics yet from Google on the release date and pricing for the rumored Chromecast HD with Google TV.

Moto G32 India launch tipped, could be a rebranded phone

Motorola has recently launched a couple of new mid-range phones such as the Moto G82, Moto E32s, Moto G52, and Moto G22 in the Indian market. According to a report by PassionateGeekz, the Lenovo-owned brand will be launching a new G-series phone called the Moto G32 in India. The leaked specs shared by the publication suggest that it could be a rebranded version of an existing Motorola phone.

According to the publication, the Moto G32 could be the next Motorola phone for India. The handset may go official in the first week of July. The report claims that it could be a rebranded version of the Moto E32, which was recently unveiled in Europe.

A Motorola device with the “Devon22” codename is said to have three model numbers, such as XT2235-1, XT2235-2, and XT2235-3. The XT2235-2 has appeared in the database of the BIS authority. It is speculated that the XT2235-2 variant may launch as the Moto G32 in India.

Moto G32 specifications (rumored)

The Moto G32 will arrive with a 6.5-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will feature an 8-megapixel camera for snapping selfies. The back panel of the device will have a 16-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens.

The Moto G32 will be powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset. It will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It will run on the older Android 11 OS and will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.

Xiaomi is working on the Xiaomi 12S series of flagship phones. The lineup is expected to include two models: the Xiaomi 12S and the Xiaomi 12S Pro. Speculation is rife that the Pro model will be available in Snapdragon and Dimensity chipset variants. A new Xiaomi phone has appeared in the database of the 3C authority of China. It seems that this device could be the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 edition of the Xiaomi 12S Pro.

As can be seen in the screengrab, a Xiaomi smartphone with model number 2206122SC has emerged in the 3C’s database. The listing reveals that the device may ship with a charger that has an MDY-12-ED model number. This charger supports up to 120W of fast charging. Rumors surrounding the 2206122SC device have claimed that it may debut on the market with the Xiaomi 12S Pro moniker.

Last week, a Xiaomi phone with a 2207122MC model number surfaced with a 67W charger at 3C. It is speculated that the 2207122MC model could be the Dimensity 9000 variant of the Xiaomi 12S Pro.

The Xiaomi 12S Pro is expected to feature a curved edge OLED panel that supports a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel triple camera unit on the rear.

The 12S Pro may come equipped with a 4,500mAh battery. It may come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and MIUI 13. The Xiaomi 12S vanilla model is rumored to debut with the Pro model. The 12S could be a compact flagship phone featuring a curved edge OLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Apart from the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro flagships, the company is also said to be working on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra premium flagship phone. It is rumored to go official in July in China.

Last month, MediaTek announced three new chipsets, namely the Helio G99, the Dimensity 930, and the Dimensity 1050. A tweet from Infinix Mobile confirms that it will be the first brand to launch a phone featuring the Helio G99 chipset.

The company confirmed that an upcoming Infinix Note 12 series phone will feature the Helio G99 chipset. The Note 12 family already includes four members, such as the Infinix Note 12, Note 12 G96 (aka Note 12 Turbo in India), Note 12i, and Note 12 VIP.

The Note 12 and Note 12i are powered by the Helio G88 and G85 chipsets, respectively, whereas the Note 12 G96 and Note 12 VIP are powered by the Helio G96. Hence, it appears that the upcoming Helio G99 powered Note 12 model will be the most powerful device in the series. It remains to be seen whether it will carry the Note 12 Pro moniker or some other name.

Built with TSMC’s 6nm process, the Helio G99 includes 2 x Cortex-A76 CPU cores working at 2.2GHz, 6 x Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 2GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It can support up to a 108-megapixel camera. However, it lacks support for 5G connectivity. The Helio G99 powered Note 12 series phone may go official as early as this month.

At present, the Note 12 VIP is the most powerful phone in the family. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 16-megapixel front camera with dual-LED flash, a triple camera unit with 108-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) flash, the Helio G96 chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of native storage, a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

Qualcomm Technologies announced a new BGMI- tournament, the Snapdragon ConQuest Mobile Open. The tournament for which registrations will begin on 9 June, is open to all esports enthusiasts and Battleground Mobile India players.

The tournament has invited 32 professional teams who will be joined by 112 teams in the final round after they have faced off with each other in the qualifiers. The teams will be competing for an impressive prize pool of INR 50,00,000. The tournament will continue till early October, and the live broadcast will begin in July.

The Snapdragon ConQuest Mobile Open winners will get an opportunity to compete in the Snapdragon Pro Series finals. The finals will be held in Hyderabad and hosted by Qualcomm Technologies and ESL Gaming.

The Xiaomi smart door lock M20 features an innovative full-board push-pull architecture. The smart door lock allows you to customize the holding direction to avoid an accidental pinch of the door. The unlocking options available with the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M20 include fingerprint, smartphone, password, NFC password, Home kit, periodic, and one-time password. These unlocking options offer a variety of ways of authorizing entry into the house.

The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M20 has a fully-automatic lock body that houses a power system. The mechanism for opening the door lock starts with verification and authentication of the request. After the successful verification, the main door lock will retract to grant access to the user. You can push or pull the handle to enter in. The door will automatically lock thereafter.

The powerful main door lock of the M20 can withstand up to 6000N lateral external force and prevent its disassembling. The device features several alarms that are activated to notify the owner of an abnormal door look, multiple trial and error attempts, external panel prying, and so on. Lenovo YOGA AIO 7 specs & features

Starting with the display, the all-in-one features a 27-inch 4K touch screen with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. It has 360 nits of brightness and covers 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut. The display is bezel-less on three sides and has a slim chin.

Under the hood, it comes with AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800H chipset coupled with an 8GB Radeon RX6600M graphics card. The PC comes with 16GB of RAM (2x 8GB SO-DIMM DDR4-3200MHz and 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD storage. 2022 has been a roller coaster ride so far, we’ve had some exciting smartphone launches in the past 5 months. However, it was just a teaser and the most premium offerings of the year are still due for a launch. But before that, we have a number of interesting phones slated to launch in June.

Several companies, including Poco, Realme, Motorola, Oppo, and Vivo are expected to launch their smartphones this month across different price segments. June will be the month of mid-range and entry-level smartphones. The major launches expected this month are the Poco F4 GT and the OPPO Reno8 Pro. Let’s have a look at the list of Upcoming Smartphones in June 2022.

Upcoming Smartphones in June 2022

1Poco F4 GT

The Poco F4 GT will be amongst the major smartphone launches this month. The handset has already been launched in Europe and it will soon make its way to the global market. Poco has not yet announced the launch date of the phone but it signaled in a Tweet that the smartphone is coming soon.

The POCO F4 GT will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the display will have Gorilla Glass Victus protection and 10-bit color depth with over 1 billion colors. The handset will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor packed under the hood with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Poco F4 GT will house a triple-camera setup consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP macro lens. The company will provide a 20MP Sony IMX596 snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. The handset will be backed by a 4,700 mAh battery that will support 120W HyperCharge fast charging and it will run MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. It is expected to be priced under $533.

2Oppo K10 5G

OPPO K10 5G

Oppo K10 5G is confirmed to launch in India on June 8th. Keep an eye on this one if you are looking for a solid entry-level smartphone with 5G support. Major features of the smartphone are still under wraps but thanks to leaks and rumors we know some details about the phone.

The Oppo K10 5G will likely be shipped with a 6.56-inch display with HD+ resolution and 90 hz screen refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For photography, it will feature a dual-camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. While for selfies and video calls, the device is said to have an 8-megapixel shooter. The smartphone may get fueled by 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. On the software front, the device will feature Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1. It is likely to be priced in the range of ₹20,000 ($257)

3Oppo Reno8 Pro

Oppo Reno8 Pro recently got launched in China alongside the Oppo Reno8 and Oppo Reno8 Pro Plus. It expected to make its way to the Global market in June. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro will carry a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED display from Samsung that has a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Smartphone will be the first to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The processor will be coupled with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage capacity.

For optics, it will have a 50-megapixel IMX 766 main lens along with an ultra-wide-angle shooter of 8 megapixels and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel camera lens will be present on the front of Oppo Reno 8 Pro smartphone.

4Realme GT NEO 3T

The smartphone’s detailed specs have already leaked online and we also know that it is going to be a rebranded Realme Q5 Pro. The Realme GT Neo 3T is expected to be unveiled on June 7 in Indonesia. It will be launched with a 6.62-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, clubbed with up to 8GB RAM.

The smartphone will offer a triple rear camera sensor along with a 64-megapixel main lens, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the handset will likely offer a 16-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls. The handset packs a 5000mah battery with 80W fast charging. The phone will run on Android 12 on top of Realme UI 3.

5Moto G82 5G

The Moto G82 5G has already been launched in international markets and is confirmed to debut in India on June 7. The smartphone is expected to come with price tag of ₹23,999 in India for a single 6GB + 128GB storage variant.

Talking about the features, the Moto G82 will sport a 6.6-inch pOLED display with a 120 Hz screen refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will get power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset that is coupled with 6 GB RAM.

The phone will carry a triple camera module on the back which includes a 50-megapixel main lens along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro snapper. While on the front, it has a 16-megapixel lens. The Moto G82 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W charging.

6Poco C40

The Poco C40 is confirmed to launch in India on June 16. However, the smartphone has already been unveiled in Vietnam which gives us a good idea of its specs and price. The smartphone is expected to be priced under ₹12,000 ($150) in India.

The Poco C40 will be an interesting entry level phone. It will flaunt a 6.71-inch LCD display panel that has a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The handset will get a JLQ JR10 chipset accompanied by 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

Talking about the camera, the phone will have a dual rear camera unit on the back with a 13-megapixel main lens and depth shooter of 2 megapixel. On the front, the Poco C40 is going to feature a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The Smartphone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that has support for 18W fast charging but for some reason it will ship with a 10W charger.

7Vivo T2

Vivo T2 was scheduled to launch on June 6 but the company postponed the launch for reasons unknown to us. Vivo is likely to launch the smartphone later this month. The smartphone is rumored to a rebranded IQOO Neo 6 SE, which went official in China last month.

Talking about the features, The Vivo T2 will land with a 6.62-inch OLED panel offering FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will be powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset powers and it will have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is going to have triple rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It will sport a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The handset will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS with FunTouch OS 12 on top. The Vivo T2 will be backed by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It will be priced under ₹25000 ($322).

Last month, at the Display Week 2022 expo, Samsung Display unveiled the world’s first 240Hz OLED display for laptops. Ahead of this conference, Razer had already announced the next-gen Razer Blade 15 that will carry this display. But the product is scheduled to hit the shelves only in Q4 2022. Before that could happen, MSI has also announced a laptop with this display and it is planned to go on sale earlier.

The Razer Blade 15 was marketed as the world’s first 240Hz OLED display laptop. But unfortunately, the notebook has lost this title in a month.

The title now belongs to the newly unveiled MSI Raider GE67 HX. Unlike the Razer model, this one should be available for pre-order as soon as this month. Because the official website says that the early bird program runs from June 1 to September 30.

Even Samsung Display, in its official press release, mentions that its 240Hz OLED display for laptops will debut on MSI Raider GE67 HX, a 15.6-inch gaming laptop. The firm also reveals that it has begun mass production for the said display panel.

As far as specs are concerned, the Samsung Display supplied OLED panel on the new MSI laptop measures 15.6-in size diagonally. It sports a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD) and up to a 240Hz refresh rate.

The screen offers up to a 0.2ms response time and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Finally, it also has certification for Vesa DisplayHDR True Black 600.

Yesterday, rumors of the upcoming iQOO 10 Pro with a mind-boggling 200W fast charging speed emerged via Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station. Now, more specifications of the iQOO 10 Pro have surfaced online.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav has spotted multiple specification details in one of Digital Chat Station’s Weibo threads. According to the tipster, the upcoming smartphone will feature a 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also said to have an in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the smartphone will feature the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset based on TSMC’s 4nm node. The device will have a 200W fast charging capacity paired with 50/65W wireless charging, however, the battery size still remains a mystery.

Other than these specs, the tipster reveals that the smartphone will come with a 50-megapixel primary camera. The display and primary camera of the device appear to be the same as the current-gen iQOO 9 Pro and so far the only difference is the chipset and fast charging capability. It is likely that the iQOO 10 Pro comes as a tweaked version of the iQOO 9 Pro but with better thermals thanks to the new chipset and a couple of new features.

For those unaware, the iQOO 9 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with LTPO 2.0 technology and offers 120Hz refresh rate. It comes powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset based on Samsung’s 4nm node. The device has a 4,700mAh battery paired with 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. And for optics, it features a triple camera setup consisting of 50-megapixel (primary) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 16-megapixel (telephoto) cameras.

Xiaomi India has partnered with YouTube to offer extended free trials of Premium membership for eligible users and select devices. This is the second time the Chinese brand is announcing a partnership with YouTube after earlier in February this year.

Xiaomi India CMO Anuj Sharma said “We are happy to partner with YouTube and offer Xiaomi consumers an opportunity to watch their favourite content without any hindrance. We are hopeful that this will be the beginning of a long-standing relationship between YouTube and Xiaomi that will ultimately benefit our users.”

YouTube is a popular video-sharing and social media platform. It also offers a subscription-based Premium service that offers ad-free access to music and video content. The paid membership also includes offline viewing, background playback and YouTube Music Premium with 80 million official songs.

Xiaomi is offering the YouTube Premium three months extended trial subscription for the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, and Xiaomi 11T Pro. Additionally, there is also two months of paid membership for the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Redmi Note 11 series. The list of devices eligible under the Redmi Note 11 series includes Note 11 Pro+, Note 11 Pro, Note 11, Note 11T, and Note 11S.

It’s worth noting that the YouTube Premium membership is for new users only. It will be available on devices activated on or after February 1st, 2022. Eligible users can redeem the offer on eligible devices starting June 6th, 2022 till January 31st, 2023.

The news arrives from known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who shared the information on Twitter. Kuo stated that the Cupertino based giant will finally be unveiling this highly anticipated product during a dedicated event sometime in January 2023. The analyst further added that the iPhone maker will be revealing the product along with new tools for the developers, which will be shipped within “2 to 4 weeks” after the event.

Notably, Kuo claims that pre orders for the upcoming mixed reality will begin in the second quarter of next year. Furthermore, the customers will be able to buy the headset before the WWDC event in 2023. Previous reports have already talked about the development issues that the new product has faced, which has led to delays. This gadget will be a pricey product that will cost somewhere around a whopping 3,000 US Dollars. The mixed reality part of it means that it will be able to run both Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality based applications.

Huawei has launched its latest noise-canceling headphones in China for 499 yuan ($75). The Huawei FreeBuds 5i is being marketed as a great accessory for the young. Excellent sound quality, multi-mode noise reduction, and ear adaptation technology are featured in the FreeBuds 5i.

Huawei FreeBuds 5i is designed for the young and fashionable at heart. It sports a family-style cobblestone design and a rounded shape. Three color options are available for the FreeBuds 5i namely interstellar black, island blue, and ceramic white. The new wearable is a very comfortable non-sensing device and can be used for extended periods. It comes lighter than its predecessors. The length of the sound mouth of the device is also shortened for greater comfort. The FreeBuds 5i is adaptable to the user’s ear canal structure for a less invasive listening experience.

The FreeBuds 5i has a battery that can deliver up to 28 hours of activity and supports fast charging. According to Huawei, 15 minutes of charging can deliver up to 4 hours of listening. Apple has just recently held its WWDC 2022 event in which it announced new M2 powered MacBooks. But ahead of the schedule, the company had also received clearance for a new feature for its Watch Series 8, which can possibly saves life.

During the WWDC event, the Cupertino based giant had unveiled the new watchOS 9, which is set to bring a number of new features. One of these included a new biomonitoring sensor for AFib burden detection. As per official notes, the brand’s latest Apple Watch will will be able to detects irregular rhythm by monitoring the heartbeat. These irregular rhythms could be indicative of atrial fibrillation (AFib).

For those unaware, an AFib occures when the lower and upper chambers of the heart do not beat in sync. So, the new Apple Watch Series 8, that is expected to launch later this year, could monitor how often a person is in a state of atrial fibrillation over a period of time. Notably, MyHealthyApple reported that the FDA has even given the iPhone maker clearance for the atrial fibrillation tracking feature.

When shipped, the Watch Series 8 might be able to save lives through this feature. AFib affects as many as 9 percent of the population that is above the age of 65 years or older and 2 percent of the population below 65 years of age. However, some of the people affected by AFib never experience any symptoms, and if left untreated, it could lead to risk of heart failure or a stroke.
