OPPO Reno6 series has just made its way to some markets lately since its initial debut in China earlier this year. But it appears the company is already gearing up to launch the OPPO Reno7 series very soon. A popular leaker has now revealed some details about the upcoming lineup.
OPPO Reno6 5G
According to a now-deleted post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, OPPO will be soon launching the OPPO Reno7 series in China. Its primary competitor will be the upcoming vivo S12 series. This means vivo will be skipping the S11 branding and jump to S12 from the current-gen S10.
That said, the tipster has only disclosed information about the vanilla OPPO Reno7. As per him, this smartphone will feature a similar front design as its predecessor OPPO Reno6. In other words, the flat display on it will have a punch-hole at the top left corner. Additionally, the bottom bezel will be thinner than the older model.
Further, he says that the phone will have a metal frame. It will house a triple camera setup on the rear and there will be improvements in their performance. Lastly, one of these cameras will sport an LED notification ring.
We expect to learn more about the OPPO Reno7 series in the coming days. The forthcoming handsets will likely use different chipsets like their predecessors.
For the first time ever, cars from Honda will be featuring Google‘s Android Automotive software. So, it seems that Google has managed to bring in another major automobile manufacturer on board for its new operating system for cars.
Prologue EV from Honda
Now, Honda will begin launching cars that arrive with Google’s embedded Android Automotive OS, which also features the Google voice assistant. Other notable features include the Google Maps among other infotainment based systems and other Automotive approved Android applications. The first vehicles from the Japanese carmaker to feature the Android Automotive will roll out next year. Although, the company has yet to reveal which models will feature this system first.
A Honda spokesperson revealed (Via TheVerge) that “We will collaborate with Google to better integrate Google in vehicle services in our vehicles including the ability to more easily use features like Google Assistant, Google Maps functionality and other in-vehicle apps offered through Google Play.” Keep in mind that Android Automotive is different from Android Auto. The latter is a system that is projected from a paired smartphone rather than being a separate infotainment system altogether like the former.
At the moment, only cars are available with this embedded Android Automotive, namely the Polestar 2 and Volvo XC40 Recharge. However, Google has made deals with other notable players in the automobile industry like Ford, General Motors, and more, which should result in millions of vehicles in the future featuring this system as their default operating system.

Xiaomi has confirmed to launch the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G in India. This smartphone is a newer version of the Mi 11 Lite 5G. It was announced alongside the Xiaomi 11T series last week. Ahead of this device’s debut in India, a tipster has revealed the details about the variant heading to the country.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G
According to Yogesh Brar, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be the first Xiaomi smartphone with the new ‘Xiaomi’ branding, which is obvious. As per him, the handset will be available in four colors and two configurations in the region.
Further, unlike the original Mi 11 Lite that launched in the country at the end of June, the newer 5G model will feature NFC for contactless payments via Google Pay and other supported applications. Like most recently Xiaomi phones, it will also come with Google Phone, Google Messages, and Google Duo.
Most importantly, the tipster claims that this handset will get 3 Android updates and 4 years of security patches. For those unaware, Xiaomi did not mention the longer software support during the global launch event last week.
The new software policy was thought to be exclusive to the Xiaomi 11T and the Xiaomi 11T Pro for now. But it does not appear to be the case. This means most mid-range and all the premium smartphones from Xiaomi will now most likely receive the same software treatment.
Last but not least, Yogesh says that the Xiaomi 11 Lite Ne 5G will be priced more than ₹22,000 in India. To know about the exact price, we will have to wait until September 29.
Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming CIVI smartphone. The device is set to be unveiled on 27th September 2021, but prior to its launch, the company’s Founder and CEO revealed an interesting feature regarding the smartphone.
In a Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website) post, Lei Jun stated the new CIVI will offer pixel level skin rejuvenation through its camera’s beauty mode. As per the senior executive, the new beauty mode will bring out the true potential of the users’ skin. Lei Jun stated in the social media post that “I do not believe in perfection, but I think everyone has their own beauty,” (direct translatation).
Furthermore, the official also reshared another Weibo post that showcased the camera’s beauty mode in action. In this, we can observe the CIVI’s selfie camera taking images of a user who’s acne was covered up almost seamlessly through the new beauty mode. The Founder and CEO also used the social media platform to explain the workings of this new beauty mode. He stated that advancement in technology enabled the company to offer skin rejuvenation at the pixel level.
Xiaomi managed to achieve this by using an advanced Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) that helps “rebuild” the skin. While this does seem promising, we will have to wait for real tests to know about its actual effectiveness. We will also be covering the September 27 launch event as well, so stay tuned for more updates.
Xiaomi has officially teased its upcoming smartwatch, the Color Watch 2. The new wearable is set to launch on 27th September 2021 and will be the latest smartwatch from the company.
As per the latest teaser poster, the Chinese tech giant’s Watch Color 2 will sport a round dial and will be available for purchase in 6 color straps. Furthermore, the company will also offer over 200 dial faces to choose from online. Back in 2020, the first Watch Color was launched with a 1.39 inch AMOLED display that offered 14 days of battery life. This version offered Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 5ATM water resistance, and more. Since then, the company even launched a Color Sport variant as well that brought GPS functionality and blood oxygen detection, among other features.
In other words, we can expect the upcoming Watch Color 2 to also feature many of these features with slight improvements. Although, we can expect the usual heart rate and activity tracking features along with a similar battery life. But the brand has yet to reveal any finer details regarding this smartwatch as of right now. Notably, the September 27 launch event will also include the announcement for the Xiaomi CIVI smartphone, Xiaomi True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones and other products. So stay tuned for more, as we will be covering the launch event and any new teasers shared before its official release as well.
Realme just launched the Realme V11s 5G in China as another addition to the V series. The phone is a successor to the V11 that was launched early this year and comes with a couple of notable upgrades.
The more important of the two is that the phone is now powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset, which should offer improved performance over its predecessor’s Dimensity 700. As a cherry on top, the Realme V11s 5G is actually the very first device to use the chip.
Apart from this, you get the addition of DRE. Dynamic RAM Expansion is the latest obsession in the Android world and it allows the internal storage to be used as an extension of the RAM, effectively allowing more apps to run concurrently. The tech allows the 4GB variant to get extended virtually to 5GB, while the 6GB version apparently can reach 11GB.
The Realme V11s 5G’s design is unchanged when compared to the Realme V11, with both having the same body. Both also come with the same 5000mAh battery capable of getting filled up at 18W. They also sport the same 13MP + 2MP cameras.
Additionally, the Realme V11s 5G has a thickness of 8.4mm and a weight of 189g. The display is unchanged and is still sized at 6.5-inches with a waterdrop notch atop. A side fingerprint sensor has been given for security and the phone will be booting into Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
The phone has two variants, both with the same storage space of 128GB. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at 1399 yuan while the 6+128G costs 1599 yuan. Color options are two – Aurora Purple and Igneous Gray. There is no indication of a global launch as of yet.
After the launch of the AC300 solar power inverter along with the 3000W Sine Wave inverter, Bluetti introduced two new solar panels – PV120 and PV200. These could be quite handy, in case of a power emergency as these days weather is getting extreme, and we can’t expect a 24×7 power supply in that case. A portable power solution could give greater relief. However, there are many other applications for portable solar panels along with power stations.
Due to modular design and circuits, the users can generate electricity by connecting it with the existing setup. The flexible design offers the ability to set up the panels at any place having an ample amount of sunlight throughout the day.
Bluetti introduced SP120 solar panel in Jul 2020 and later 200-watt SP200 panel in 2021 with EP500 power station. Bluetti’s new solar panels – PV120 and PV200 can be flawlessly used along with AC300 and AC200MAX. Here’s our comparison with previous generation solar panels.

Bluetti PV120 and PV200 Specifications
Design
Bluetti’s new solar panels PV120 and PV200 are built with blue ABS material having a smaller logo. The black rubber handles enhance portability along with modular design. The PV series features a new one-piece waterproof coating design that encapsulates the solar cells, meanwhile, the SP series carried one giant raw canvas.
The new PV panels now carry a new snap fastener design which allows easy adjustment, unlike the previous SP panels. Moreover, the new PV panels are bit heavy due to advanced waterproof coating.
Efficiency
Solar panels are available in three different technologies using different materials – Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline and Amorphous. Among these Monocrystalline offers the highest efficiency among all due to the presence of a single large silicon crystal. Both Bluetti’s SP and newly launched PV solar panels use Monocrystallinewith increased efficiency of around 23-24%.
Shading Performance
Bluetti PV panels are configured with a parallel connection to reduce the voltage fluctuation if shade comes over the panel. It is a great way to enhance power production without incurring losses due to shade on some parts of the panels. The parallel connection allows all other panels to run at full potential, even if some panels are under shade.
It helps to overcome efficiency drops due to obstructions such as trees, nearby buildings, etc. Bluetti PV200 and PV120 will easily said you away from such issues.
Pricing and Availability
Bluetti PV panels are not on sale if you buy them with solar generators. The 200W PV200 is available for $549 per piece and the 120W variant for $399. However, the price reduces to $425 per piece if you grab it with AC200 + PV200 bundle. The discount is applicable only for the title 30 September. Interested folks can head over to the Bluetti Power official store to buy it before the prices come back to normal.
Earlier today (24th September 2021), Xiaomi published a patent for a new imaging system. This would allow users to take 3D images using multiple devices that are connected to one another.
The patent has the publication number CN113438462A and is titled under “a multi-device interconnected shooting method and device, electronic equipment and storage medium.” Looking at the patent description, the new system basically combines images taken from a number of interconnected devices to obtain a three dimensional image. This would enhance the overall photography experience and let users experiment to find creative ways to shoot their subject/scenery that they are trying to capture.
According to the patent, the shooting process would involve communication between these interconnected devices that would request a connection first and then acquire shooting information that will form the final shot. These device will also include a panoramic shot on which the other shots will be layered. So, a minimum of two devices will be required for this imaging process. As of right now, it is unknown if the company is actually working on such a system or is just covering all bases. However, this might make smartphone photography more interesting by involving multiple devices/users and add a more social aspect as well.
Last year, realme entered the wearable category with the launch of realme Band. This product got a successor in the form of realme Band 2 last week in Malaysia. The latest fitness tracker from the brand has now debuted in India.
realme Band 2 Price and Availability in India
The realme Band 2 is priced at ₹2,999 ($41) in India. It will be sold via realme.com, Flipkart, and partner retail stores across the country.
The first sale of the fitness tracker is scheduled for September 27 at 12 PM.
realme Band 2 Specifications and Features
The realme Band 2 is totally different from its predecessor. It looks more like a smartwatch than a fitness tracker. It features a design similar to that of HONOR Band 6 and HUAWEI Band 6.
The accessory sports a 1.4-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 167 x 320 pixels and 500 nits brightness. This screen supports touch input and there’s a capacitive button at the bottom bezel.
It comes in a single Space Grey color option with 50m water resistance. However, users can buy any 18mm interchangeable wrist strap of their choice separately.
The wearable arrives with a 3-axis accelerometer, an optical heart rate sensor, and an SpO2 sensor. It supports 90 sports modes (via future OTA update), heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen level monitoring, sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle monitoring, and stress monitoring.
It also has features like sedentary reminders, breathing exercises, music playback control, camera shutter, alarm, reminder, app notifications, call alerts, and others. Users can also use the band to control select realme AIoT products.
The fitness accessory connects via Bluetooth 5.1 and uses the realme Link companion application. It is compatible with devices running Android 5.1+ and iOS 11+.
Last but not least, the realme Band 2 is backed by a 204mAh battery, which is rated to last for up to 12 days.
The Google Chrome team is experimenting with a new feature that could arrive in the future live build of the browser. A new “Side Search” function has been spotted that appears to be similar to a feature on Microsoft Edge.
Another new feature is coming to the side panel, "Side Search", this could be something similar to the search results that appear in Edge's Bing side panel 🤔:https://t.co/hGhMcUFWNlpic.twitter.com/SnrnJARTvZ
The new feature on Chrome was spotted by Leopeva64 (Via XDADevelopers). It appears to be a Side Search that will display search results inside a small panel without having the user open another new tab. As of right now, Chrome offers a side panel that shows bookmarks and a “Reading List” so it isn’t unlikely that the search engine giant would seek to broaden this panel’s functionality.
Although, Leovpeva64 believes that the feature will not use the current side panel located on the right, rather, the company could implement a Side Search panel on the left side specifically for this feature. Furthermore, three related flags were also spotted on Chromium Gerrit, which includes a Side Search, Side search clear cache when close, and a Side search state per tab functions.
Notably, the new Side Search feature resembles the Microsoft Edge’s sidebar search quite a bit. Functionally, both features are quite similar, while the Edge’s sidebar search offers users to highlight a word or phrase on a webpage and display relevant search results on the side panel as well.
After teasing for days, realme has officially launched the realme smart TV Neo 32” in India. It was announced alongside the realme narzo 50 series and realme Band 2. Just like we expected, this television does not run Android TV. We thought that this TV will be more affordable than the competition because of this reason. But unfortunately, that’s not the case.
realme Smart TV Neo 32” Specifications and Features
The realme Smart TV Neo 32” sports a 32-inch LED-backlit LCD panel. The resolution should be 1366 x 768 pixels (HD Ready) but realme has not mentioned it. Anyway, the brand does say that the display is TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue light emission.
Further, the television is powered by an unknown chipset with a quad-core CPU. Unfortunately, there are no details on its RAM and storage.
On the connectivity front, the TV arrives with WiFi, 2 x HDMI, 1 x USB, Antenna, audio out (3.5mm), and Ethernet. There’s no mention of Bluetooth, and therefore, we think the television lacks it. Hence, it does not appear to have voice control as well.
Talking about software, TV runs some other operating system other than Android TV (probably a Linux-based OS). It comes with YouTube 2021, Quick Cast (Miracast), and realme’s proprietary Chroma Boost Picture Engine color profile.
Going by the renders on the official website, the television may only support streaming platforms like Hungama Play, Eros Now, and Yupp TV. Hence, buyers will have to invest separately in a streaming device to get access to popular streaming services like Netlfix, Amazon Prime Video, and others.
Last but not least, the television uses 20W speakers with support for Dolby Audio.
realme Smart TV Neo 32” Price and Availability in India
The realme Smart TV Neo 32” is priced at ₹14,999 ($203) in India. For comparison, the newly announced Redmi Smart TV 32 with Android TV and a better set of features just costs ₹1,000 more (₹15,999).
The first sale of the television is scheduled at 12 PM on October 3. It will be also available at a discounted price tag during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, which will run from October 7 to 12.
The launch date for the Moto Tab G20 has just been confirmed for the Indian market. This marks the first Motorola tablet in India in a while that will be available on the popular Indian e-retailer platform, Flipkart.
The launch date of the upcoming tablet has been confirmed on Flipkart, with a date set for 30th September 2021, which is in line with our previous report. While finer details regarding the device like pricing is unknown, we do have information on certain key specifications. Under the hood, the device will feature a MediaTek Helio P22T chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. On the front, the tablet sports an 8 inch IPS LCD HD display.
The Moto Tab G20 tablet will be powered by a large 5,100mAh battery pack. For photography, the rear sports a 5 megapixel sensor while the front features a 2 megapixel selfie shooter. Out of the box, the device offers a stock Android experience on Android 11 OS. It even has a 3.5mm headphone jack and front mounted speakers that support Dolby Atmos audio optimization. So stay tuned for more, as we will be covering the launch of the new tablet.
Pre-order figures show that nearly half of the buyers are opting for the Black Mint color option of the Realme GT Neo2, revealed Xu Qi, Realme Vice President on Weibo today. He added that the color option helps make the phone have one of the “most recognizable designs of the year.”
The statement is reasonable considering that there aren’t many flashy fluorescent-ish green phones that one can grab. Plus, the black stripes add to the character and give the Realme GT Neo2 a sporty look, that is not unlike its upcoming Mercedes-AMG special edition.
Further, the phone uses a matte glass splicing process for its rear panel. The result of this is AG glass that provides extra grip. For the uninitiated, AG stands for anti-glare and is less reflective and less of a fingerprint magnet when pitched against the regular glass back.
The pricing of the device in China has now been revealed as well and we have listed all of its storage options below:
The Realme GT Neo2 uses a 6.62-inch Samsung E4 display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It supports HDR10+ and has a peak claimed brightness of 1300 nits. This paired with a 600Hz touch sampling rate is guaranteed to provide an ultra-smooth scrolling or gaming experience.
Other specs include the flagship-level Snapdragon 870 5G processor, a large 5000mAh battery that can be charged at 65W, and a 64-megapixel primary camera. The phone also uses a ‘diamond ice core cooling system’ that should help it stay cool at all times – whether its regular usage or gaming.

ZTE Axon 30 Pro Plus UD Master Edition was announced today and its online pre-orders have commenced. The phone is equipped with an under-display front camera, comes with a leathery back panel, and has an increased storage capacity of 512GB, all of which are extras over the standard ZTE Axon 30.
Further, the phone comes with a ginormous 6.92-inch AMOLED display, almost putting it in the league of small tablets. The display, although has a standard resolution of 2400 x 1,080 (FHD+), makes up for it with a 120Hz refresh rate paired with an ultra-responsive 360Hz touch sampling rate.
The ZTE Axon 30 Pro Plus UD Edition refines the under-screen camera technology further and eliminates the screen windowing problem that was present in the previous generation of the tech. With a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and a pixel density of 400PPI (under the screen area), the transition is more natural, the pixels have also been doubled, and DC dimming is also supported.
Other specifications include a flagship-level Snapdragon 870 SOC to satisfy the phone’s processing needs, a quad-camera setup at the rear, and a 4,200mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging.
The camera setup is interesting with a 64MP sensor as primary. It comes with an aperture of f/1.79 that should result in decent low-light shots. Xiaomi has today announced that the company will be hosting a launch event on 27th September in China to officially launch its latest Xiaomi True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones 3 Pro.
The design of the upcoming TWS earphones has also been revealed by the company in the promotional poster. It shows Xiaomi True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones 3 Pro in Greyish-blue color with an in-ear design.
