Coolpad has a new mid-range phone launching on Wednesday, May 25. The phone will arrive as the COOL 20, and just a few days before the launch, the manufacturer has decided to reveal some of its key specs and features.
The COOL 20 will have MediaTek’s Helio G80 processor powering it, an upgrade from the aged Helio P30 chipset inside its predecessor, the COOL 10. The octa-core chipset has two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and 1.8GHz respectively along with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU.
There will be 128GB of storage onboard with support for storage expansion (256GB max.). Coolpad says it uses the EROFS file system developed by Huawei that allows for more space and is also faster than the F2FS format.
The manufacturer has also confirmed that the phone will have 48MP dual cameras and will feature image processing technology from Arcsoft. It has added a bunch of features including night mode, portrait mode, and HDR mode. Below are some sample photos that were taken by the device. The configuration of the second rear camera was not stated but the front-facing camera is a 13MP sensor.

Another feature confirmed is support for Dual-band Wi-Fi and 4G+ network, the latter of which it claims is three times faster than standard 4G.
The COOL 20 will have a waterdrop notch, be covered in scratch-resistant and oleophobic glass on both sides, and be available in black, green, and white. It will run Cool OS out of the box.
The Motorola Edge S launched at the beginning of the year as the first Snapdragon 870 device. The phone not only has a powerful processor and some pretty nice tricks but also has a killer price tag. If you are on a budget, you should consider it especially now that Motorola has announced a new color variant will be available tomorrow.
When it launched in January, the phone was available in two color variants – Emerald Glaze and Emerald Light. Now, a third variant which has a gray finish and will be sold as the Motorola Edge S Pioneer Edition will be available starting tomorrow.
The Pioneer Edition will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage but will be sold for ¥1999 (~$310), the price tag of the 6GB RAM + 128GB version. Save for the new paint job and the cheaper price tag, the specs are the same as the other colors.
The Motorola Edge S has a 6.7-inch 90Hz FHD+ LCD display with two holes at the top left corner of the screen for dual front-facing cameras. It is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. There are four cameras on the back – a 64MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, a 16MP ultrawide angle camera that doubles as a macro camera, and a ToF. The cameras in front are a 16MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide angle camera.
The new color variant will be sold online on the official website, JD.com, and Tmall. It will also be available offline at Lenovo stores.
The Honor 50 series is highly anticipated especially for international fans of the Honor brand. Last week, the manufacturer confirmed that the upcoming smartphone series will be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 778G processor. Now, it has also confirmed that the phones will have Google Mobile Services.
The info was confirmed by the official Honor Germany Twitter account as a reply to a question asking if the Honor 50 series will have Google Mobile Services. This is definitely good news for Honor fans across the globe. Also, considering the original tweet was about the Honor 50 series, it is safe to say that the phones will be announced in Germany.
Ja, das können wir bestätigen. Aber pssst, soll noch eine Überraschung werden 😉
Last year, Huawei sold Honor to Zhixin New Information Technology Co. Ltd, a consortium formed by agents and dealers of the Honor brand and Shenzhen Smart City Development Group Co. Ltd. Following the transfer of the brand to new owners, Honor has been in talks with American companies it was previously banned from conducting business with when it was still owned by Huawei. Some of those companies include Qualcomm and Google – the former for its chipset, and the latter for its mobile services for devices sold outside China.
With the recent announcements, we now know the talks went well and Honor can now do business with these companies and others that it was previously barred from by the U.S. government.
The Honor 50 series is yet to get a launch date but we are sure the launch will happen soon, rather than later.
The RedMagic 6 series is about to get a new member. Earlier this year, the gaming smartphone brand announced the RedMagic 6 and RedMagic 6 Pro. Now it is set to announce a third device that will be sold as the RedMagic 6R, and ahead of the launch, it has revealed some of its key specs as well as its AnTuTu score.
A Weibo post by the official RedMagic account has confirmed the gaming smartphone will have a Snapdragon 888 processor, the same one inside the other RedMagic 6 phones. The chipset will be combined with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
According to a TENAA listing, the phone will have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1080p+ screen. It will be available in different configurations with the highest having 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are 64MP quad rear cameras, on the back, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 4100mAh battery that is expected to support 55W fast charging. Nubia will ship it with Android 11 out of the box.
The RedMagic 6R is scheduled to be announced on May 27 in China but there is no info yet about it getting a global release.
Midea Group, a Fortune Global 500 company and one of the largest producers of robots and appliances has launched the brand new Midea M7 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner on 23 May 2021. The new vacuum cleaner will retail for a special launch price of $329.99 only at AliExpress.
Midea M7 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner helps you to sweep and mop your floor. The robot vacuum cleaner features a Nidec BLDC advanced Japanese motor, that optimizes the air duct design and gives out a powerful and strong suction of 4000pa. With dual brushes attached alongside the suction pump, the robot gathers all dust and debris in its pathway. Moreover, with a floating roller brush at the bottom and a powerful 4000pa suction pump, the robot gives you 94% cleaning efficiency. The powerful suction pump sucks in dust, debris, and other garbage like hair, M&M beans, food particles, etc easily into the 450ml large capacity dust box, and with a three-layer dust filter, it easily sweeps all the dust without creating secondary air pollution while cleaning.
Midea M7 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner comes with a high-frequency vibration mop that not only leaves your floor clean and shiny but also removes stubborn stains from things like tea, coffee, ketchup, etc. Unlike other generic robot cleaners, the M7 Pro achieves 500 vibrations per minute, giving you squeaky clean surfaces and leaving your house clean.
To reduce the powerful vibrating noise, the device comes with a noise reduction sponge, sound insulation module, and special shock absorption design that ensures that even at a high-frequency vibration, the robot does not shake too much and the noise remains as low as 65db. Midea M7 Pro also comes with a dedicated silent mode, which when turned on, reduces the noise level significantly, ensuring zero disturbance to you and your family. This means you can keep the device running even when you are studying or hosting a house party as the robot vacuum cleaner on Silent mode will be almost invisible to you.
The highlight of Midea M7 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner is its latest Lazer-Direct-Structuring Navigation Technology. This fifth-generation laser technology uses a powerful 3000Hz frequency to scan the entire house, up to 8 meters and sends the data to the MSmartLife App. It then constructs an intelligent house map, with smart cleaning pathways to give you an optimum cleaning solution.
Using the APP, you can have complete control over the cleaning process. Simply go inside the house layout option and set your own cleaning pathways, virtual walls, banned areas, or set up a special area for focused and deep cleaning. For eg: you can set your study and kitchen for deep cleaning and ban the device from entering your kid’s play area or kitchen garden. All these settings can be easily changed and manipulated using the MSmartLife App.
Another interesting feature of the Midea M7 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner is its ability to climb barriers as high as 2.2cm, without damaging itself or the surface area. This means the robot can easily cross thresholds separating different rooms and sections in your house or even go down the small steps from your living room to the balcony. Moreover, with a slim and sleek body design, the robot can easily sweep and mop hard-to-reach surfaces like the bottom of the sofa, bed, coffee table, etc.
With a massive 5200mAh battery, the robot vacuum cleaner gives you 3 hours of cleaning time on one single charge. Moreover after finishing one round of cleaning the robot automatically goes back to the charging station to recharge itself. Even in the midst of cleaning, if the robot detects low battery power, it will self-direct itself to the charging station and recharge before resuming the cleaning process, from the same point that it previously stopped. This means you will never have to worry about the robot running out of battery as it takes care of its own charging needs.
Midea M7 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner is available globally including in European countries like Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Poland starting today. The device which has a retail price of $389.99 will be available at a special discounted price of $329.99 at AliExpressas a part of its launch promotion.
Please note that this discount offer starts tomorrow. So if you are looking for a smart robot vacuum cleaner, make sure to check out the Midea M7 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner.

Tech giant Samsung could be lining up another smartphone in its Z series, with the discovery of a trademark filing for the “Z Slide” moniker apparently for a device still under development. The trademark listing from the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) indicated that the device bearing the specified name was under Class 9 (mobile communications device, possibly a smartphone).
Before now, Samsung had also trademarked the Z Roll extendable display device from the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). While the Z Roll will have an extendable display that expands horizontally, the Z Slide will come with a vertically expanding display, which could mean that the device could be a smartphone.
There has been an increase in research and development of extendable display smartphones by various OEMs, and Samsung has remained at the forefront of research along that line. Just last week, the display arm of Samsung highlighted some of the work-in-progress displays slated for incorporation into Samsung’s future smartphones. These included the S-Foldable panel, which is the likely component for the Z Slide, when operational.
The 7.2-inch S-Foldable display will support multiple fold patterns, which will be a boon for device versatility. The Z Slide could be a rollable version of the Z Flip, which will deploy some innovative technology in the mechanism that would drive the operation of the retractable display. It was earlier reported that a chain-link system could be used to maintain the performance and durability of the flexible display.
As per possible rollout information and price, it is unlikely that the device will be unveiled this year, possibly sometime in 2022. Samsung is set to launch a couple of foldable devices within the third quarter of 2021. It is after these devices have been released that we’ll look forward to the launch of the Z Roll or Z Slide.
Chinese smartphone company Coolpad was previously in partnership with LeEco but since the demise of the LeEco brand, it has continued to chart a course for itself in the smartphone industry. The Coolpad brand has a fairly decent presence in China, India, and a host of other markets. It is now set to release a new smartphone that will help it grab a share of the pie in terms of smartphone market shares. The device dubbed Coolpad COOL 20 recently featured in some promotional teaser posters shared by the company.
The poster shows that the model will be launched in China on May 25. Not many details of the smartphone are revealed but it is believed to be the successor of the Coolpad COOL 10 which was released in June 2020. The promotional posts show the COOL 20 will have a glass body and will be available in white and black color options.
The teaser poster also showed that the device will feature a dual-camera setup consisting of a 48MP main shooter. The camera has the ArcSoft badge printed on the module which suggests it is co-engineered with ArcSoft, a provider of imaging solutions to partners in computers, digital cameras, and others. The device is also touted to come with premium audio quality. There is no fingerprint reader at the back which suggests it won’t have one. The Cool 10 from last year is a budget smartphone and this may not be different.
The internal specifications were not revealed but we expect the device to do better than the budget COOL 10 which features a 6.57-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch at the top. The COOL 10 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P30 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. It equally packs a 4900mAh battery with fast charging via a USB-C port.

The goal of the DJI education division is to expand globally and collaborate with schools for access to resources that will further enhance the teaching of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The company will continue to and developers of tomorrow. In fact, Jianrong Gao, Head of DJI Education said that the RoboMaster TT was designed specifically to appeal to STEM students while cultivating knowledge in AI robotics, programming in an inviting, easy-to-understand, and hands-on time which is crucial for applying real-world knowledge.
The device and its accompanying resources will surely assist budding students in their study of robotics and how it can be applied to real-world situations.
DJI continues to drive development in robotics education since 2013 when it unveiled its robotics university summer camp. The company has gone on to make solid inroads in the robotics ecosystem especially in relation to drones. Apart from this, the Chinese company also has a growing portfolio in the manufacture of drones for agricultural purposes.

Lenovo has a launch scheduled for May 25 where it plans to announce a couple of new tablets. Two of these tablets are the Xiaoxin Pad Plus and the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021, and ahead of their launch, Lenovo has revealed some of their key details.
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021
The Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 will have an 11.5-inch OLED display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR 10, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is housed inside a CNC machined metal body that is 5.8mm thick at its thinnest point. The weight of the device is put at 485 grams and it appears it will only be available in a single variant.
Lenovo has confirmed that there is a Snapdragon 870 chipset inside the device with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There is a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion and of course support for USB OTG, so you can plug in USB devices.
The Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 also has four JBL speakers with a total power of up to 6W. It also supports Dolby Audio and has an intelligent audio mode. The published spec sheet also reveals the tablet has an 8600mAh battery, supports Quick Charge 3.0, and charges via USB-C. It has a fingerprint scanner that is buried under the power button and also supports face unlock, thanks to the dual front-facing cameras. There are also two cameras on the back of the device.
Lenovo will ship it with ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11 with software features that make learning easier for students. A list of optional official accessories will also be made available such as a stylus, a keyboard case, a case that allows it to be propped up in landscape or portrait mode, a screen protector that is available in plastic film and glass film variants, and a standard protective case.
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Plus
The Xiaoxin Pad Plus also has an 11-inch display but not an LCD panel. The screen resolution is 2000 x 1200 and the brightness level is 400 nits. Lenovo also states that the display is TÜV Rheinland-certified and supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The display is housed in a body that is 7.9mm thick and the overall device weighs 520 grams.
There is a Snapdragon 750G processor inside and it draws juice from a 7700mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 over USB-C. It has OTG support and also has a MicroSD card slot. There is no fingerprint scanner on this model but the 8MP front-facing camera adds support for face unlock. On the back of the tablet is a 13MP sensor.
The Xiaoxin Pad Plus will ship with ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box with the same educational software features available on the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021. It will also have the same array of optional accessories.
Both tablets will be announced on May 25 at 19:30 in China.
One of the differences between the Chinese Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro is that the former has a flat display while the latter’s screen is curved. It has now been reported that Vivo plans to launch a curved screen variant of the Vivo X60.
The news comes from the trusted leaker, Digital Chat Station, and according to a post he made on the social media platform today, a curved screen version of the Vivo X60 will launch soon.
The leaker had actually revealed that there will be a curved screen version of the phone back in December before the phone was announced. In that leak, he mentioned that the curved variant will also have a smaller 4200mAh battery capacity. Save for these two differences, he said the two phones are practically the same and should have a similar price tag.
The Vivo X60 has a 6.56-inch 2376 x 1080 display with a centered punch hole and 120Hz refresh rate. There is an Exynos 1080 processor inside with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are three rear cameras – a 48MP camera with four-axis stabilization, a 13MP telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultrawide angle camera. For the front-facing camera, Vivo has put a 32MP sensor inside the hole in the display.
The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and runs OriginOS based on Android 11. Its 4300mAh battery supports 33W fast wired charging.
Xiaomi announced the most affordable 5G phone in Europe: the POCO M3 Pro 5G. It packs impressive specifications if we consider its listing price. But is it the best cheap 5G phone you can currently get in the global market? We think there is no better way to realize it than comparing its specifications with the other most affordable 5G phones from the other brands. So this is a comparison between POCO M3 Pro 5G, OPPO A54 5G, and Realme 8 5G.

Dual SIM slot, 5G
Design
The POCO M3 Pro 5G is the handset with the most original design in the trio, especially in the POCO Yellow color variant. But with the OPPO A54 5G, you actually get a thinner body. The Realme 8 5G is the most lightweight one. There is no real winner between these devices if we consider the design: it is mostly a matter of taste. All are made of polycarbonate, so you do not get premium materials. Even the dimensions are more or less the same. They all sport a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Display
All of these phones come with LCD displays sporting a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a diagonal of 6.5 inches, and a 90 Hz refresh rate. But with the OPPO A54 5G you get a slightly better panel with the LTPS technology. Given that we are talking about average IPS displays, do not expect a huge image quality. But they are more than sufficient for every user. With the POCO M3 Pro 5G, you get a lower brightness, so while the OPPO A54 5G takes the crown, the second place goes to the Realme 8 5G.
Hardware/Software
On the paper, the MediaTek Dimensity 700 found on the POCO M3 Pro 5G and Realme 8 5G is a better processor if compared to the Snapdragon 480 5G found on the OPPO A54 5G. Further, with the OPPO A54 5G you get just 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage. The best hardware setup is provided by the Realme 8 5G which sports up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. But you should not underestimate the POCO M3 Pro 5G with its UFS 2.2 storage, despite it packs a max of 6 GB of RAM. All the phones run Android 11 out of the box with customized user interfaces.
Camera
The OPPO A54 5G has the most advanced cameras. It packs a quad camera including a 48 MP main sensor with a brighter f/1.7 focal aperture, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a pair of 2 MP sensors for macros and depth calculation. Unfortunately, the POCO M3 Pro 5G and the Realme 8 5G lack an ultrawide camera. Further, they do not have a focal aperture as bright as the OPPO A54 5G. With the POCO M3 Pro 5G, you even get an inferior 8 MP front camera.
Battery
The POCO M3 Pro 5G, the OPPO A54 5G, and the Realme 8 5G come with the same battery capacity: 5000 mAh. But the POCO M3 Pro 5G and the Realme 8 5G should have a lower energy consumption due to the 7 nm production process of the Dimensity 700. Further, you should consider that OPPO A54 5G lacks fast charging, so it takes a bit more to charge its battery.
Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G vs OPPO A54 5G vs Realme 8 5G: Price
POCO M3 Pro 5G’s prices start from €159/$194, OPPO A54 5G costs €269/$328, and Realme 8 5G is priced at €199/$242. While OPPO A54 5G is definitely a more convincing device, with the Realme 8 5G and the POCO M3 Pro 5G (which is the weakest one in terms of overall specs) you get a higher value for money.
The renders were shared on Weibo by @菊厂影业Fans and they show the phone in three color variants including a yellow one that has a bit of green. While none of the images show the front of the device, we get a good look at the rear which is curved and is home to an unusual camera design.
HONOR has dropped the rectangular camera housing of the HONOR 30 for a large pill-shaped one that holds two large circles. Inside the top circle is a single large camera sensor, this should be the primary camera; while the bottom one houses a periscope zoom lens and a third camera sensor. The area around the camera housing has a glistening finish that matches the color of the phone.

Honor 50
The HONOR 50 will be available in Yellow, Blue, and Purple and we are glad the Honor branding on the back is much smaller than the humongous one that graced the back of its predecessor.
Last July, OnePlus launched its most affordable smart TVs to date in the form of the OnePlus TV Y series. Now, over 10 months later, the company is set to introduce a new model in this lineup next week. This television will be called OnePlus TV 40Y1.
OnePlus TV 40Y1
Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has confirmed to launch the OnePlus TV 40Y1 in India on May 24 at 12 PM. According to the landing page on Flipkart (official online retailer for the TV) as well as Oneplus’ official website, the new television will be identical to the other two models in the OnePlus TV Y seres.
OnePlus TV 40Y1 Specifications and Features
The only differences between the already sold OnePlus TV 32Y1 / 43Y1 and the upcoming OnePlus TV 40Y1 will be size and availability. As the name suggests, the new television will feature a 40-inch panel and it will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to OnePlus’ official website. Whereas, the older models were initially exclusive to Amazon India but now, they are available on Flipkart as well.
Talking about specifications, the OnePlus TV 40Y1 will have an FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LED-backlit LCD panel like the OnePlus TV 43Y1. This display is said to come with a 93% DCI-P3 color gamut and a 93% screen-to-body ratio.
The television will be powered by an unknown 64-bit chipset coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Further, the product will run outdated Android TV 9.0 Pie operating system with OxygenPlay content aggregation service. It will support all the leading streaming services, Google Chromecast, Google Assistant, and even Amazon Alexa.
On the connectivity front, the TV will only come with single-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. However, it will have all the essential ports like 2 x HDMI, 2 x USB, RF, optical digital audio port, 3-in-1 AV composite, and Ethernet.
Last but not least, the television will sport 2 x 10W (20W) speakers with support for Dolby Audio and ship with a voice-enabled OnePlus TV remote control (RC-002B).
OnePlus TV 40Y1 Expected Price
The OenPlus TV32Y1 and the Oneplus TV43Y1 currently retail for ₹15,999 and ₹26,999 in India. Hence, the OnePlus TV 40Y1 could be priced around ₹19,999-₹22,999 in the country.
Popular audio sharing, invitation-only social platform Clubhouse has now successfully rolled out the beta version of the popular app to Android users globally. This comes on the heels of a similar rollout to Android users in the US last week. After the release of the Clubhouse Android beta in the US, the company had hinted at a speedy rollout to other English-speaking countries and other parts of the world. Users in Brazil, Japan, and Russia were given the opportunity this week to access the app and provide feedback on its performance and overall expectations.
The Clubhouse app was at inception, only available on iOS devices, where it had gained prominence even in countries with strict regulatory controls. It has also suffered bans in some countries. However, the company continues to reinvent itself to remain relevant in the space amidst stiff competition from other apps which have cropped up after Clubhouse.
The app is now available for download from the Google Play Store. However, it is still in beta stage meaning you might still a few glitches here and there but on the whole, this is a good development. Unfortunately, a new user will need an invitation from already registered users to sign up for the app.
Since the release of the beta version last week, there had been three updates of the app, indicating robust feedback from the testing community. There will also be some additional features on the app when the full version is released. The market for Android is growing rapidly, and a successful unveiling of the Clubhouse for Android could mark further expansion of the app, possibly eclipsing the number of iOS users over time.
Google Play remains the most popular app store for smartphones. Earlier this week, Google had revealed at the 2021 Google I/O event that there are over 3 billion active Android devices that access the Play Store. This is more than three times the figure for iOS at just over a billion active devices.
In a move targeted at several popular mobile applications, China’s internet regulatory watchdog, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), has named several companies for being involved in the unauthorized collection and use of personal data of users of these applications. Some of the popular applications mentioned were TikTok, LinkedIn, Kuaishou, Microsoft’s Bing, and Kugou.
In a statement posted on its official WeChat account, the regulator said that it received complaints from users that prompted it to launch an investigation into the data collection activities of several apps. The CAC noted that 105 apps were, after the investigation, found to have violated extant privacy laws by collecting excessive personal information through illegal access. According to the CAC statement, the owners of the 105 apps are required to remedy the observed breaches within 15 days.
The Chinese internet watchdog says it will continue to scrutinize mobile applications for possible breaches regularly. The CAC approach comes on the heels of the recent new regulations that provide stricter monitoring and controls for the public’s overall safety. The crux of the new rules is that app providers are held accountable for collecting excessive user data unrelated to the app’s core services and forcing users to give uninformed consent to how their data are used. These regulations cover a wide range of mobile applications of different hues.
China continues to strengthen its laws and regulations to be responsive to the evolving technological space. Some major brands like Alibaba and Tencent have been fined heavily for observed breaches of the rules governing their operations and anti-monopoly laws. These new moves by the CAC will help shore up consumer confidence in the system and ensure mobile applications do not take undue advantage of users.

Samsung could be very close to unveiling another budget smartphone with 5G support, the Galaxy F42 5G. This much is known after the model appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. The listing shows that the model is in its final stages of development and could be launched soon, in the absence of any last-minute hurdle.
The website listing reveals the Galaxy F42 5G will arrive with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and has the model number SM-E426B/DS. The smartphone will also run on Android 11 with the OneUI 3.0 overlay.
Apart from these details, not much is revealed by the Wi-Fi Alliance website listing about Samsung’s Galaxy F42 5G. However, it is believed that the Galaxy F42 5G is a rebadged Galaxy M42 5G. The Galaxy F series has been a rebranded version of the Galaxy M series for several cycles now. The Galaxy F52 5G was launched a couple of days back there are already rumors that the Galaxy M52 5G is already in the works with the same specs lineup. The tradition may continue, at least for the Galaxy F42 5G. If indeed, we have a rebranded M42 5G in the Galaxy F42 5G, we expect some decent improvements, while its basic functionalities may remain.
As per its specifications, the Galaxy F42 5G is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The chipset has 5G support, and the smartphone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery. In addition, the quad rear camera setup includes a 48MP primary camera, while a 20MP front camera is also present. Not much can be said about the nature of the 6.6-inch display, but improvements could be done to provide a better screen output.
