The official price of the device is 179 yuan, which roughly converts to $28.
The company has also shared a poster making the announcement, giving us a look at the upcoming device. It shows that the Expansion Dock comes with an elbow design, which can expand the Type-C interface to three interfaces.
The dock can be used for a full-featured Type-C interface with the support of convenient high-definition screen projection. It can also be used for charging with support for PD fast charging. Lastly, it can be used a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The company has revealed that this new docking station isn’t just limited to use with Red Magic smartphones but can also be used with other smartphones that come with support for USB Type-C interface.
Red Magic recently launched its next-generation gaming smartphones — Red Magic 6 and 6 Pro, costing $599 and $699 respectively. The phones, which are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, packs up to 16GB of RAM. The Red Magic Mobile Game Expansion Dock will come in handy for power-users as it allows them to use multiple features and functions simultaneously.
South Korean tech powerhouse Samsung is expected to hold the Galaxy Unpacked event on April 28 which is just days away. One of the products the tech giant is expected to unveil is the Galaxy Book Go. Now, expected specs of the entry-level notebook have appeared online ahead of the launch.
The details shared by WinFuture.de shows that the Galaxy Book Go will be the first ARM notebook to run on the Windows 10 operating system and offers several excellent features for its price. The laptop is said to adopt a retail price of around 449 Euros ($542) in Europe. The notebook will hit the US market for a starting price of $349 which should be for the non-LTE model.
Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Book Go will feature a 14-inch HD display on an LCD screen. The laptop is LTE-enabled and weighs just 1.39kg. There are speculations that the LTE-capable version of the laptop will only be available in Germany, although no definitive statement has come out from Samsung in that regard. If the LTE version is specifically for the German market, then there would be other variants available to other markets.
The LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Book Go has an LTE modem, USB multi ports with support for USB 2.0, Type-C, and USB 3.2, and Bluetooth 5.1 compatibility. The charging of the notebook’s battery is via the USB Type-C port, indicating fast charging capability, and the battery can last up to 18 hours on a full charge. The massive battery power of the notebook will surely endear it to a broad segment of the market, as its performance is far beyond the average.
Other expected features of the Galaxy Book Go include a fingerprint reader for customized unlocking of the laptop, a 720p camera, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The small size of the RAM and the fact that it cannot be extended may be a drawback of the Galaxy Book Go, although the present 4GB RAM is a bit decent for many applications. The processor is the ARM-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c, with eight computing cores and an integrated LTE modem.
The Samsung Galaxy Book Go can be used as a portable business companion that could be used while on the move without the fear of unavailability of electricity supply. The LTE-enabled version is expected to go on sale in Germany.
Samsung first unveiled the Neo QLED TV 4K/8K, its first mini-LED-based smart TVs at CES 2021. The smart TV only went on sale last month (March) in Korea and in select markets globally. The tech giant has now disclosed that the domestic sales of the Neo QLED smart TV has exceeded 10,000 units barely less than two- months since it went on sale. For the avoidance of doubt, the NEO QLED went on sale in Korea on March 3.
Apart from the Neo QLED, the company also disclosed that the total number of QED TVs sold locally in Korea reached 40,000 units as of April 23. This, the firm says, is more than twice the sales speed of last year’s QLED TV products during the same period, and is an indication of Samsung’s growing leadership of the premium TV market.
The company also disclosed that Neo QLED smart TVs utilizing Quantum mini LED technnology accounts for half of the total number of QLED TVs released this year. Data released also shows that about 75% of the new QLED TVs sold in its home turf is the 75-inch model.
In February this year, German AV Magazine rated the Neo QLED 8K TV as the “Best TV of all time”. The review team gave the TV model a score of 966 points, 10 points higher than the score recorded by the best Samsung QLED TV from 2020 which received a score of 956 points.
In particular, reference was made to the outstanding design, innovation, impressive contrast ratio, deep blacks, high brightness, and precise local dimming as a result of the Mini-LED technology. The Neo QLED 8K even features an Infinity screen with the bezels around the display only 2.3mm thick.
Samsung Neo QLED is equipped with various gaming functions to provide an optimal gaming environment such that even if you play for a long time, you can enjoy lively videos without worrying about burn-in. The product is also said to be the first in the TV industry to be certified as ‘Gaming TV Performance’ by the German certification body Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE) in March.
To further boost domestic sales, Samsung has been running a promotion since April 1 dubbed ‘National Home Appliances Fiesta’ for popular home appliances including TVs. The promo has seen the company offer benefits worth up to KRW 1 million to customers who purchase the Neo QLED 8K after returning their existing TV.
As the internet has become a necessity, the focus for high-tech hardware for home use has grown to ensure better connectivity. In line with that, the Chinese tech giant Huawei has today announced that it has now started taking reservations for its latest router — Huawei Router H6 in its home country.

The Huawei Router H6 package includes three things — the main router, a Standard version of the sub-router, and a Pro version of the sub-router. The company says that the main router supports up to six sub-routers.
The router supports HiLink one-key pairing and can be connected to the Huawei Smart Life App for remote management. It also supports QoS speed limit for devices. For security, there’s HUAWEI HomeSecTM protection that supports Wi-Fi anti-brute force cracking, anti-scratching network, and anti-camera hijacking.
Internally, the device is powered by Lingxiao quad-core processor with the CPU clocked at 1.4GHz and packs 256MB RAM and 256MB of storage. The main router has six Gigabit Ethernet ports, one Gigabit WAN port, and one Gigabit IPTV port.

As mentioned above, it is divided into — Standard version and Pro version, supporting 2.4GHz bandwidth at 574Mbps and 5GHz bandwidth at 2402Mbps. It comes with two omnidirectional antennas and two smart antennas with support for 2×2 MIMO dual-frequency.

The Nubia Z series has been missing from the smartphone scene since the last model, the Nubia Z20 was announced back in August 2019. If you have been waiting for a successor, Ni Fei, the president of mobile devices at ZTE, has confirmed that a new model is on the way.
The top executive took to Weibo to reveal that the next generation Nubia Z series will be coming soon. The Weibo post also included a poll that asked fans what upgrades they expect. From the options, it is safe to assume the poll is a teaser for the upgrades the new phone will bring.
A lot has happened since the release of the Nubia Z20 and the smartphone space is now even more competitive. However, knowing Nubia, we can be sure the New Nubia Z series smartphone will have its own unique features that will give it an edge over the competition.
At the moment, we do not know what the new phone will be called. Will it be called Nubia Z21 so that it syncs with the year 2021 or will it be called Nubia Z30? Let us know what you think in the comment box below.
Also, we have no information about the number of phones that will be announced. While there was only one Nubia Z20 phone, its predecessor, the Nubia Z18 had a mid-range model that launched as the Nubia Z18 Mini and it was even announced before the flagship arrived months later.
Another important question is if the new Nubia Z series phone will have a dual-screen design like the Nubia Z20? With key Chinese manufacturers set to announce a foldable smartphone this year, maybe Nubia will surprise us too. If it does launch a foldable with an inward folding design, it can still be called a dual-screen phone, right?
Realme 8 Pro was the first model to hit the global market and it came alone, initially. Design
The Realme 8 Pro has the sleekest design of the trio. Thanks to its smaller battery, the phone has a thinner body and it is even lighter than Realme 8 and Realme 8 5G. This is the only reason making the Pro version better than the other two models of the lineup because the rest of the design is similar and the materials used are the same.
Display
Realme 8 and 8 Pro have exactly the same display, which is actually better than the panel found on the Realme 8 5G. We are talking about a Super AMOLED panel showing vivid colors and absolute blacks, with a Full HD+ resolution, a standard refresh rate, and a peak brightness up to 1000 nits. The display also comes with an integrated fingerprint scanner for authentication. The Realme 8 5G has a 90 Hz refresh rate, but in this case, we are talking about an IPS panel. In each case, you get the Full HD+ resolution with 1080 x 2400 pixels, but the Realme 8 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Hardware/Software
The most satisfying processor in terms of performance is the one provided by the Realme 8 Pro, which is powered by the Snapdragon 720G mobile platform. The chip is built at 8 nm and it comes with very high GPU performance. But it lacks 5G, so you might prefer the slightly lower performance offered by the Relame 8 5G because it provides 5G support. Further, the Dimensity 700 is built with a 7 nm production process. The phones all run Android 11 out of the box, customized by Realme UI 2.0.
Camera
The king of camera phones in the Realme 8 series is the Realme 8 Pro because of its main camera: a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with a 108 MP resolution and the in-sensor zoom technology. It captures a higher level of detail and provides better overall photo quality. Right after, we got the Realme 8 with its 64 MP rear camera. The Realme 8 5G is the most disappointing one: besides having an inferior 48 MP main camera, it lacks the ultrawide sensor too, unlike Realme 8 and 8 Pro.
Battery
Realme 8 Pro loses the battery comparison and Realme 8 is the longest-lasting battery phone of the trio. It has a 5000 mAh battery and a Super AMOLED display instead of the IPS panel found on the Realme 8 5G, which reduces energy consumption. Realme 8 Pro is the best when it comes to fast charging, thanks to a power of 50W.
Realme 8 vs Realme 8 Pro vs Realme 8 5G: Price
Realme 8 and Realme 8 5G are priced at €199/$240 in the global market (base variants), while you need €279/$337 to get the Realme 8 Pro. If we exclude the absence of 5G connectivity, the Realme 8 Pro is definitely the most interesting one, but it costs more. Between Realme 8 and 8 5G, the first is better due to its AMOLED display, better cameras, and faster charging: Realme 8 5G has the same price just because of the chipset and 5G connectivity.

Fire in a factory of Casetek Group, a Taiwan-based electronic manufacturer which is also a supplier to technology giant Apple, near Shanghai in China has killed eight people, including two firefighters, reports SCMP.
As per the statement from the government of Jinshan District related to this incident, the fire broke at the factory on Thursday at 1:30 PM and raged until Friday morning, killing two firefighters and six civilians.
The fire was fierce that over 900 firefighters, 123 fire engines, and eight robots were deployed to fight the fire. Officials are still investigating how the fire started, but the flames quickly engulfed the large plant when it gathered momentum.
While the cause of the fire still remains unknown, the investors are trying to determine it. The official statement from the government claims that this fire has not caused significant air or water pollution to the local environment.
Shengrui Electronic Company was acquired in 2020 by Casetek Group, which itself is owned by Pegatron. Casetek is known to be a producer of casings for Apple‘s MacBook lines as well as iPads. It remains to be seen how much of an impact this fire will have on the company’s supply chain.
