Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 4G and Galaxy A52 5G a few days ago. However, the company only brought the 4G variant to countries like India. Now, as suspected earlier, it looks like the 5G variant will come under the Galaxy M-series to the country as it gets certified by BIS.
Galaxy M62 5G could be a rebadged Galaxy A52 5G
A Samsung device with model number SM-M626B/DS has got India’s BIS certification. Courtesy of Ankit(@technoAnkit1), the listing suggests that the device would debut in India as Galaxy M62. Before you get to know-how, you should note that we spotted a similar device on Bluetooth SIG a while ago.
Further, this model number is also reminiscent of the Galaxy A52 5G(SM-A526B/DS) that is on markets like Europe. All these, along with the name ‘Galaxy M62’ on the SIG listing make us believe that it should be the rebadged Galaxy A52 5G for India.
Samsung generally focuses on the Axx series for the offline markets. The Galaxy A51 was one of the most shipped devices and contributed more to the company’s market share. The M-series, on the other hand, is focused mostly on the online audience and Samsung is doing it to vent out the competition in India whilst grabbing itself a bite.
In that case, the 5G version could make sense to India(despite the auction for 5G spectrum is still pending). Anyway, let’s wait and see if Samsung finalizes the idea of launching the Galaxy M62 5G in the country.
All in all, if Galaxy M62 5G launches as a rebadged Galaxy A52 5G, it should feature a 6.5-inch Infinity-O AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 750G chipset, 64MP quad-camera setup, 4,500mAh battery with 25W charging, & more.
Realme 7 5G comes with a massive 6.5-inch display and an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The smartphone is powered by Dimensity 800U 5G Octa-core processor and comes in two memory variants viz: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The smartphone has a quad-camera setup in the rear with a 48MP main camera and 8MP + 2MP + 2MP secondary cameras. The selfie camera is a 16MP wide-angle lens that features HDR.
Fueled by a 5000mAh battery the smartphone supports both fast charging and reverse charging. For more detailed information, check out this article on Gizmochina.
Generally retailing at $330, you can now buy Realme 7 5G for $281.50 only. This limited period offer is applicable only on the 6GB + 128GB memory variant in both Silver and Blue color. With free shipping and additional store coupons, this is a bargain deal. So go get your Realme 7 5G Global Version from AliExpress before this deal expires.

In a major shift, U.S giant retail chain Walmart has collapsed rules that require that sellers on its online marketplace should be based within the shores of the United States and also registered there. The new move is seen as an attempt to bridge the e-commerce gap with Amazon and also benefit from the vast network of manufacturers streaming from China on a regular basis.
Walmart, which happens to be the world’s largest retailer commenced the process of opening up its third-party marketplace to foreign sellers, removing the requirement that they have to provide a U.S. address or business tax identification. Notwithstanding the relaxed regulation, Walmart’s global trust and safety team as well as the local team will still painstakingly vet the vendors to prevent the listing of items that don’t meet the required standard.
There is no doubt that Chinese manufacturers will form the bulk of the beneficiaries of this new shift. Manufacturers from China have often eyed the U.S market which is considered the most-lucrative market considering the high purchasing power and its vast market size. However, the third-party retailers from outside the U.S will only form a fraction of Walmart’s total seller base most of whom are based in the U.S.
Walmart would have taken into consideration the fact that some of the electronics products that would be on offer will likely compete with its own Onn branded line of electronics gadgets. The Onn products are mostly manufactured in China and we believe they are priced modestly to compete with the Chinese brands. However, the company may decide not to allow competing products on its platform.
The US retail giant disclosed in a statement emailed to Bloomberg that its U.S marketplace is being opened to a limited number of international companies who share the company’s commitment to customer trust and safety. The service is open by invitation only which is very different from Amazon where retailers only have to register online. Thus, don’t expect to find so many third-party retailers from China anytime soon. However, we expect to be the big names like Xiaomi sometime soon.
A couple of days back, Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) shared 3D CAD renders of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G’s successor. According to him, this device is codenamed ‘Ebba’. Now, this handset appears to have certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
OnePlus Ebba | Source: @OnLeaks via Voice
An OnePlus smartphone with model number EB2101 has been spotted on India’s BIS certification bureau. Since the company is known for using the first two letters of its handsets’ codenames in their model numbers, this device could be the recently leaked OnePlus Ebba.
As per OnLeaks, the upcoming OnePlus Ebba will be the successor to last year’s OnePlus Nord N10 5G, which is only available in a select few markets. The official marketing name of this phone is a mystery as of now. However, we can now expect it to launch in India, unlike its predecessor.
This yet-to-release OnePlus smartphone will sport a 6.49-inch flat display with a single punch-hole at the top left corner. The handset will come with a glossy plastic rear panel with a vertically aligned triple camera setup. From the back, this device may look like an OPPO Reno series device.
Surprisingly, the phone is said to feature a shiny metal frame, which is expected to be omitted on the OnePlus 9. Lastly, this device will measure 62.9 x 74.7 x 8.4mm in dimensions.
Last year Poco released the Poco X3, which offered great value for money to its buyers. And recently, at their Spring event, Poco updated the X3 with a new Pro version. And as the name implies, the X3 Pro is the Poco X3’s beefier brother.

In a teaser released recently, Poco talked about how it shook up the budget market with a respectable performance-to-price ratio and suggested that the new phone would be available at the same price as the F1, representing the original spirit of the Poco F series. Now we know the phone they were talking about was the X3 Pro.
Poco X3 Pro Review: Design
The Poco X3 Pro starts with a 6+128GB version but there’s another version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone comes in 3 color versions, Metal Bronze, Frost Blue, and Black.
The Poco X3 Pro in our hands is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860, which is a higher-binned version of the Snapdragon 855+. Compared to the Poco X3 running the snapdragon 732G, the 860 chipset is definitely a surprising upgrade. But please note that the 860 chipset is a 4G chipset, so it doesn’t support the latest 5G network connection.
The phone features a quad rear camera setup headlined by a 48 MP main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth shooters. For battery, the X3 Pro has inherited the non-Pro version’s large battery design and features one with 5156mAh battery capacity and 33W fast charging, which, even when compared to the Redmi K40 series, still brings a comfortable battery life. And the 120 Hz 1080PLCD display also comes back on the Pro model.
The design of the X3 Pro doesn’t change much. It looks almost the same as the Standard X3. So we still have the camera module arranged at the upper-middle position of the back. And the big Poco logo on the back still stands out.
Turn it around, and there is still the same 6.67-inch hole-punch display. As a budget model, the X3 Pro’s narrow chin design is still impressive.

headphone jack
In addition, the X3 Pro also carried forward some useful features related to daily usage, including NFC, Z-axis linear motor for better vibration experience, stereo dual-speakers, and the rare 3.5mm headphone jack.
POCO X3 Pro Review: Performance & Gaming
Thanks to the debut of the Snapdragon 860 chipset, the Pro’s performance has got much better than the standard model. The standard X3’s performance didn’t really cheer up the fans last year, so we were looking forward to seeing the performance on the X3 Pro. Since the X3 Pro in our hands is still a non-commercial sample, we were unable to run most benchmarks on it.
But we could run AnTuTu and the phone scored around 476,000. Unfortunately we couldn’t test out other benchmarks. But if there are any software updates to open this limit, we will be sure to let you know.
While we couldn’t run most benchmarks, we could still test its gaming performance.
Well, the results didn’t disappoint us.
In PUBG Mobile, due to the in-game framerate limit, we were only allowed to run under 60fps with the highest HDR graphics setting. So it was pretty easy for the Pro to achieve an excellent and stable gaming performance without any thermal issues. The phone didn’t heat up, and after 30mins of gaming, its highest temperature reached was only at 45℃, which is much better than those flagships running the snapdragon 888 chipsets.
In NBA 2K20, we again could not access a maximum framerate up to 120fps. However, the X3 Pro easily achieved an average framerate at 59.65fps without any performance down throttling or heating issues.
In Genshin Impact (20mins), under the highest graphics (motion blur OFF), the X3 Pro surprisingly achieved at avg. 49.9fps with some fluctuation in battling.

POCO X3 Pro Review: Camera Performance
The quad-camera combination contains a 48MP AI main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP portrait camera, and another 2MP macro camera.
Now let’s see some photo samples shot on the X3 Pro.
Main Camera
AI ON
AI ON
The main-camera samples have pretty good colors and decent contrasts. When you turn on the AI colors and HDR mode, the vivid colors look more delightful but sometimes it may come out a bit oversaturated. Under most conditions, we prefer the samples without AI adjustment as the images had natural colors and were closer to the true tone of the scene.
The exposure of the main camera is pretty accurate except when facing high contrast situations. The main camera also did a relatively good job of removing the fringing effect.
Wide-Angle Camera
On the other hand, the wide-angle-camera’s samples didn’t show a good dynamic range or high contrast when compared to the main camera’s output. But it was good at producing pleasant colors. Under most conditions, the anti-distortion of the wide-angle camera is pretty good but sometimes it wasn’t perfect especially when you look carefully at the corners of the image.
Macro Camera
AI ON
AI ON
The 2MP macro camera can focus on subjects close to 4cm. The colors in the macro samples were a bit dull, and the low resolution of the sensor also makes it not so practical. Meanwhile, you have to be careful with lighting conditions since the macro cam performs much better in brighter scenes.
Night Mode Performance
MAIN Cam 5-night mode(1)
Main Cam 5-auto mode(1)
Main Cam 4-night mode(1)
Main CAm 4-auto mode(1)
Main Cam 3-night mode(1)
Main Cam 3-auto mode(1)
As for the night mode, the improvement in brightness is really remarkable. Make sure that you turn on the night mode without fail under insufficient lighting conditions, as it would definitely boost your shooting experience, no matter for the main camera or the wide-angle sensor.
UW 2-night mode(1)
UW 2-auto mode(1)
UW 1-night mode(1)
UW 1-auto mode(1)
And we can also see how it stabilizes your image and balances the exposure between brightness and darkness.
POCO X3 Pro Review: Battery Life & Charging
In the charging test, a full charge took around 1 hour and 12mins, which is close to what we got on the X3.
POCO X3 Pro battery charging
To give you a basic idea of how the larger battery extends your battery life, we played PUBG mobile, shot photos, and videos, and watched online videos, and performed each activity for 30 minutes. Then we recorded the power consumption for each activity. Just check out the results here!
POCO X3 Pro Review: Verdict
So this was our quick review of the Poco X3 Pro. We hope you got enough information before you go ahead and make your purchase decision.
This time the improvement of the X3 Pro is more remarkable than what we had on the X3. And the phone almost brought us back to Poco’s golden days to some extent, not just because of its price but also the inclusion of a high-performance chip inside an affordable phone. However, we’re still a bit upset about its design. Honestly, we would have preferred all these upgrades on a newly-designed model instead of just recycling an existing one.
By the way, if you are interested in the Poco X3 Pro, don’t forget to click the link here and join the event held by Goboo and Poco. If you are picked as one of the lucky winners of the newly launched X3 Pro, do let us know!

The Huawei Mobile Services or HMS that has usually been seen in Huawei devices will apparently might also be arriving Meizu smartphones as well, as per a source close to the matter.
According to a BaijiahaoBaidu report, the latest version of the HMS Core 5.0 might arrive in Meizu devices soon. As per a Huawei staff member, the Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu, will gain access to the HMS Core services. Meaning, the company’s devices could arrive integrated with HMS services, instead, of Google’s mobile services. The news was shared on the popular Chinese social media platform Bilibili by @秋叶梓洛.
For those unaware, the Chinese tech giant’s HMS Core services was designed to replace the Google Mobile Services after the company lost access to GMS when it was placed on the export blacklist by the US government. At the moment, HMS is available in three major platforms, including its proprietary HarmonyOS (also known as HongMengOS in China) and Android OS as well.
Unfortunately, it is currently unknown if Meizu is actually planning on using Huawei’s proprietary services. Furthermore, both the companies have yet to make any official announce about this news, so stay tuned for more, as we will be providing updates when additional information is available regarding the matter.

The open beta from Android 12 OS has just revealed that the Google Pixel 6 might arrive with an under display fingerprint scanner. This feature was recently spotted in the latest beta version of the upcoming operating system.
According to a TechRadarreport, developer kdrag0n spotted the mention of ‘UdfpsControllerGoogle’ in the code from the second Android 12 developer preview. The ‘udfps’ stands for an under display fingerprint scanner, which was a part of the com.google.android.systemui path that suggests that the feature might be arriving for a future Pixel device. This also implies that the feature is being developed for Pixel smartphones, instead of the feature being generally supported by Android OS.
Keep in mind that this does not confirm that the search engine giant will be launching a Pixel with an under display fingerprint scanner, but it does hint at it. With support for the feature being included in Android 12, we might see the Pixel 6 arrive with this feature, along with the latest iteration of Android OS as well. Previously, reports had also emerged that the company might be using a combination of an in display fingerprint scanner and facial recognition system, to unlock the device.
Another new feature noticed in the Android 12 beta, the company made certain changes to its dark mode. At the moment, Pixel devices offer a black background, but the newer update changes the backgrounds of supported apps to gray. This is an odd move considering that the darker color would be more effective in lessening the battery consumption on an OLED display.
Xiaomi’s last tablets (Mi Pad 4, Mi Pad 4 Plus) were released in 2018. It was thought that the company has exited this device category. However, that does not appear to be the case. The so-called Mi Pad 5 has been rumored for the past few weeks. Today, a reliable Chinese leakster has also confirmed the existence of this tablet.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4
According to the popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will flaunt an 11-inch display with a high refresh rate. For comparison, the 2018 Mi Pad 4 and Mi Pad 4 Plus had an 8-inch screen and a 10.1-inch display respectively with the standard 60Hz refresh rate.
In other words, the Mi Pad 5 will have a similar-sized display as the iPad Air 4th Gen (10.9-inch) and iPad Pro 11-inch. Further, according to him, the upcoming Xiaomi tablet will also have support for Xiaomi Device Control, a feature identical to HUAWEI Multi-screen Collaboration.
Anyway, the leaker is not sure if the Mi Pad 5 will be announced at the company’s March 29 event at which it is expected to unveil Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra.
That said, in late February, alleged specs and renders of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 leaked. But they could be mostly fake.

Amidst a packed launch schedule, OnePlus is bringing their OnePlus 9 series and OnePlus Watch tomorrow(March 23). With just a day left, the pricing of the OnePlus Watch for Europe has now been leaked.
Leaker Ishan Agarwal says that the OnePlus Watch will start at €150 for the European / EU market. He hasn’t mentioned the price for other regions like China, India. Also, do note that he says it’s a starting price so this could be for the standard variant.
Previous leaks say that the OnePlus Watch will launch in two variants- Standard and LTE. The Watch dial, however, will have 46mm size and come in two colors- Silver, Black. Renders have already given us a good look at how the smartwatch would look like in Black.
Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus Watch looks more like the OPPO Watch RX that never released. Today, Ishan has posted the renders in both colors. Considering its OnePlus, the device should also have an AMOLED display and there are chances of it being 1.28-inches in size.

Coming back to the pricing, Ishan clearly says that these prices are only for Europe. Generally, OnePlus products tend to be a little pricier in this region compared to others like Asia so a mere conversion is useless.
As for features, the OnePlus Watch is expected to have heart-rate(PPG) and Blood Oxygen monitoring(SpO2 sensor), in addition to sleep and stress monitoring, 4GB storage, IP68-rating, Warp Charge technology, answer phone calls, control media, serve as a remote for OnePlus TVs, 110+ workout modes, & more.
A couple of weeks back, a leakster tipped that HONOR will be launching HONOR Pad 7 later this month. The person turned out to be right as the brand has officially confirmed to unveil this product tomorrow (March 23) alongside HONOR V40 Light Luxury Edition. That’s not all, a mysterious HONOR tablet has also been spotted on Geekbench, and there’s a high chance that it could be the HONOR Pad 7.
HONOR Pad 7
Late last week, the HONOR Smart Life Weibo account confirmed that HONOR Pad 7 will be launched on March 23 (tomorrow). Also, the handle revealed the design of this tablet by sharing a couple of images that showcase the device in two colors (Grey, Blue).
Going by the pictures, the HONOR Pad 7 will look identical to its predecessor HONOR Pad 6, just like the mockup design shared by the leakster who tipped the existence of this product in the first place. Lastly, earlier today, the brand has also confirmed that this tablet will be targeted at students and it will support split-screen mode with up to 4 apps.
Talking about the Geekbench listing, which could be of this tablet, this device with model number AGM3-W09HN will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. For comparison, last year’s HONOR Pad 6 comes with HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC. However, similar to its forerunner, the new model will also run Android 10.
Unfortunately, nothing else is known about this tablet except for the above-mentioned specifics. But anyway, since the launch is just a few hours away from now, we don’t have to wait for a long time to learn more about it.
Samsung Display‘s shipment of OLED (organic light emitting diode) panels has fallen by 9 percent in January 2021, over the previous month, reaching 45 million units in sales as per a new report.
The primary reason for the decline in sales is apparently due to the lackluster sales of the iPhone 12 mini from Apple, as per TheElecreport. Last year, the Cupertino based giant launched four models in its iPhone 12 series. While the lineup overall saw great success across the globe with higher than expected sales thanks to its 5G support, the lowest end entry model saw lackluster demand. The sales of the 5.4 inch iPhone 12 mini was lower than what the company had anticipated.
Notably, the South Korean display maker is the sole supplier for the OLEDs on the Mini variant of the iPhone 12. The first quarter of a year is usually known to be an off season for smartphone sales, although, Samsung Display’s OLED display supply to Chinese companies remained strong in the same month. These ‘rigid’ OLED panels use glass substrates and are relatively cheaper than flexible OLED panels that use plastic (polyimide), which are found in flagship handsets like the iPhone and Galaxy S21 lineup.
The global shipments of OLED panels reached 53 million units, marking a decline of 9 percent. Out of this figure, Samsung Display accounted for 45 million units or about 85 percent of the total. On the other hand, LG Display shipped 6 million units in January 2021. In terms of rankings, Samsung Display arrived first, followed by BOE and Tianma as second and third respectively.
