Huawei is strengthening its relationship with Russian companies like Yandex and Mail.ru. The latter is reportedly in talks with the Chinese telecommunications giant to pre-install its apps inside Huawei smartphones. Given that Huawei is currently the world’s second-largest smartphone manufacturer, this could be a big deal for the Russian internet company.
Mail.ru Group has a lot of apps and services under its belt like VKontakte (VK), Delivery Club (Food delivery app), and Odnoklassniki (OK). While these apps are traditionally popular among the Russian speaking individuals, they still have a pretty strong fan following. For example, OK has over 2 million downloads on the Google Play store.
Huawei is also reportedly in talks with another big Russian company, Yandex. The company is planning to install Yandex’s digital assistant – Alice on its smartphones. The two companies are also said to be working on other collaboration opportunities in areas such as search engine, music, taxi, and weather services.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro
However, both these deals have not yet been finalized. So there’s still time before we start seeing Huawei smartphones coming pre-installed with Mail.ru and Yandex apps.
Yesterday, Motorola Brasil released a teaser on Twitter hinting at the launching of a new phone. A translation of the caption for the post says the phone will arrive in three days and “everything you know about filming and shooting using cellphones will change”. While the teaser doesn’t mention the device, Roland Quandt revealed in a tweet that the phone launching is the Motorola One Action.
Em 3 dias, tudo o que você sabe sobre filmar e fotografar usando celulares vai mudar. Estão preparados? pic.twitter.com/1eZPHHfxRl
Leaked specs have revealed the phone will have a 6.3-inch display with a 21:9 aspect ratio like the Motorola One Vision and a 2520 x 1080 resolution. At the top left corner of the screen is a punch hole for the camera.
The Motorola One Action will come with triple rear cameras arranged vertically. It has a 12MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor. There is also an ultrawide angle camera with a 117° field of view. This camera is also called the Action camera and where the phone derives its name from. It also has a 12MP front-facing camera. Previous reports said the primary rear camera and front-facing camera are 13MP sensors.
The Motorola One Action will have an Exynos 9609 processor powering it which will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone will have a MicroSD card slot for extra storage. Other features include a 3500mAh battery with support for 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. There is also an audio jack, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Winfuture.de reports the device has a plastic rear cover, weighs 181 grams, and is 9.15 millimeters thick. While the price of the phone in Brazil is unknown, the Motorola One Action will sell for €250 when it launches in Europe. We already know it will sell for much more higher in Brazil.
UMIDIGI is getting ready for its next flagship, UMIDIGI Z5 Pro, and has just teased a 64MP sample image shot by the device. As the company claims, the Z5 Pro will be among the first few models in the world to launch with the new 64MP Samsung sensor. This new sensor is almost certainly the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 which was announced by Samsung recently. This teaser means that Xiaomi and Realme won’t alone in offering this feature soon.
The company’s sample image shows a cat and a zoomed-in section of the cat’s fur. As indicated the 64MP sensor is from Samsung and should be the same Samsung ISOCELL GW1 as Xiaomi’s and Realme’s devices. There’s little more to say about the photo other than it certainly seems to pack plenty of detail. The GW1 sensor measures 1/1.7″ in size with 1.6um pixel size and is 38% larger than the current 48MP sensor. It uses ISOCELL Plus technology that increases light intake and catches colors more accurately resulting in bright, sharp, and vibrant images across different lighting environments.

The Z5 Pro will feature the 64MP sensor and while the company hasn’t yet announced this year’s Z Series, the Z5 Pro is definitely one of the devices coming soon. We hope that there will be a non-pro version that will at least feature a 48MP sensor on the back so that users will have to choose between 2 great devices according to their budget.
In the meantime, you don’t have to wait until the Z5 Pro comes out to get a great device at a great price. You can enter the giveaway to win the recently launched value king UMIDIGI X and Upods. If you are interested in buying both at a rock bottom price, you can add the UMIDIGI X and Upods to your cart on Aliexpress to grab the discounted price when the presale kicks off on August 26th.
The triple camera setups must be considered a standard when talking about flagships, no matter the market segment they are in. Every manufacturer that wants to release a competitive device must keep in mind that the triple camera is a prerequisite and so does Doogee that just announced the presale kick-off of its new mid-range flagship, Doogee N20.
The presale will take place on Aliexpress from August 19th to 31st while delivery will begin on the 26th. The price of N20 will get a 50% slash during the promotion period, so you have the chance to get it for just $99.99! A really incredible price that will also be available on Doogeemall. What’s more, the first 100 units will receive the Aermoo B1 earphones for free and the next 900 units will get the Doogee Vienna earphones for free. Lastly, all orders will receive a free screen protector.
But what will these $99.99 get to you? Of course, the killer feature is its triple rear camera. Someone would say that other Chinese manufacturers offer the same setup but the results are disappointing. Well, there is a huge difference here, as the Doogee N20 also features OIS! The triple camera hosts a 13MP Sony wide-angle sensor while the front shooter is 16MP. OIS is important when shooting videos while moving and when shooting photos in dark environments where the phone needs to be very stable during the shoot.
As far as the rest specs are concerned, N20 is powered by the Helio P23 SoC backed by 4GB of Samsung RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The display is a 6.3″ IPS one with waterdrop notch and takes up the most of the front of the device. Also, there is a 4350mAh battery that should definitely take you through 2 days on a single charge under normal use. In addition, there is a super-fast fingerprint sensor on the back of the CNC metal body. The OS to coordinate all this hardware is Android 9 Pie that brings all the latest goodies of Android with it.
Compared to the previous model, Doogee N10, the N20 is 2x faster with a 104% increase in performance, has twice the battery performance, consumes 70% less, and has 50% more efficient cooling.
As said, the presale will start on August 19th and in the meantime, you can participate in the big Giveaway on Doogee’s official promo page or on Gleam until September 11th.

It’s a pleasure for some users to try the new Android Q Beta before the official launch. Several Android Q Beta versions are released by Google so that the developers can make their apps compatible with the latest Android distribution. To make the new version compatible with devices, the search giant has even partnered with some OEMs, including the Essential, Samsung, OnePlus and others. Surprisingly, the final Android Q Beta was recently rolled out for the Google Pixel Phones, and later Essential Phone also joined the league last week.
Essential quickly rolled out the Android Q Beta 6 for the Essential phone with refined Gesture Navigation, APIs and SDKs. Surprisingly, the Essential Phones are getting bricked after the installation of the latest Beta update. Users are reporting the device getting stuck into the non-functional state aka QDL state after installing the update.
According to a user on Reddit, the Essential phone is not booting after performing the update. The Essential support is asking to send the device to the support center for a closer inspection to rectify the issue.
The thread is full of many other users having the same issue. But thankfully, the company is returning the devices soon after successfully downgrading them to the previous Android build, within a couple of weeks.
The issue appears to be affecting all the units which are getting upgraded to the Android Q Build 6. We suggest users to remain on the Android Q Beta 5 until Essential rectifies the bug. We await an official response from the Essential on the QDL state issue.
Android Q beta 5 update also caused some devices to stuck into the QDL state. The issue was gradually resolved with significant updates.
First, it was referred to the Motorola One Pro, then new reports surfaced saying the device is actually called the Motorola One Zoom. It turns out that both names are actually correct.
Both phones are the same in terms of specs and design. However, the Motorola One Zoom runs Motorola’s near-stock version of Android with Amazon’s Alexa onboard while the Motorola One Pro is an Android One phone.
Evan Blass shared a promotional photo earlier today of the Motorola One Pro and as you can see, it has the same design as the Motorola One Zoom.
Weird. Motorola One Pro from Evan @evleaks… looks exactly like the Motorola One Zoom. But runs Android One. They even show up in retail mixing both names. pic.twitter.com/9iM5lEqpSr
In a response to Roland Quandt who has been the main source for details on the Motorola Zoom, he said both phones have distinct SKUs and are probably for different markets.
A phone having two different names for different markets isn’t unusual. Several manufacturers including Huawei, HTC, Samsung, and Xiaomi all launch identical phones with different names in different markets.
Now that it has been established that both the Motorola One Zoom and the Motorola One Pro are actually the same phone with different names and software features for different markets, what is left is a release date for both.
When the Motorola One Pro/Motorola One Zoom launches it will come with 48MP quad-rear cameras, a Snapdragon 675 processor, a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 4000mAh battery.
Next week Vivo will unveil their latest device, the iQOO Pro 5G. Not only will this be the first 5G smartphone from the newly established sub-brand, but it’s also the first Snapdragon 855+ device from the company. But if that wasn’t enough, iQOO also wants everyone to know that they’re definitely not cutting corners on the cameras by posting samples online.
While the pictures aren’t exactly of the highest quality, they still show how impressive the low light camera performance is. Everything is very well illuminated, and it retains a good amount detail as well. Of course, we can’t really make anything other than simple observations considering how the pictures shared on social media, but so far it’s looking promising.
TENAA has revealed that the upcoming iQOO Pro 5G is equipped with a 48-megapixel + 13-mgeapixel + 12-meapixel triple camera setup and it has a front camera of 12-megapixel. The original iQOO phone features a 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system and a 12-megapixel selfie shooter, so it’s a pretty big update.
The images of the Vivo iQOO Pro 5G have not surfaced yet on TENAA. However, the official teaser image of the phone that was released in the previous month had revealed that its rear design bears resemblance with iQOO gaming phone. A recent leak had claimed that the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage of the phone could be priced at 4,498 Yuan (~$637).
Xiaomi‘s latest crowdfunding product is the Mensarjor Sink Washing Machine. A cool kitchen arrangement is every housewife’s dream and Xiaomi’s ecological chain products have often included products that bring ease and adds class to the home kitchen setup. The new sink washing machine is one of such products.
The Mensarjor Sink Washing Machine is a washer for your vegetables and other food items that need to be washed before cooking. It uses ultrasonic technology to remove residues such as specks of dirt and even pesticides from the food items. After the washing is done, it drains the water automatically. The washing area has a large 10L capacity sitting by the side of the sink. The container can take 50 prawns, 20 potatoes, 10 crabs and 15 apples respectively at once. The device comes bundled with the faucet but can be purchased as a standalone gadget.
As for the functionality, it uses 6 built-in vibrators and an innovative matrix arrangement technology to form high-frequency vibrations, which generate a large number of tiny bubbles. The negative pressure is formed by the magnification of the bubbles. Specks of dirt and impurities on the surface of the fruit ad other items are removed by physical means to achieve clean fruits and vegetables as well as deep cleansing of seafood and other ingredients. This method protects fragile items such as Bayberry, Cauliflower and keeps the outwall of items intact.
There are three washing modes available, with different intensities and water levels. There is a single control button at the side. The gadget can also be controlled via the MIJIA app on a smartphone.
During the crowdfunding exercise, the device is priced at 1999 yuan for the standalone but if you are buying with the faucet set, it comes in at 2498 yuan ($356), including installation fee of 100 yuan. The faucet is made of 304 stainless steel and adopts a retractable design which makes it easy to use. It also comes with a bubbler and spray-gun water discharge modes. The soft water spray (bubbler) is suitable for daily cleaning, and the strong water spray is suitable for bottle and sewer cleaning.
The product is expected to start shipping in China on September 14.
OnePlus 7 Pro is arguably one of the best flagship smartphones you can buy in 2019. It only took 5 years for OnePlus to compete in the big league. OnePlus phones are popular for their home-grown OxygenOS but there are some power users who are interested in more customization. Hence, we have compiled a list of the best custom ROMs for OnePlus 7 Pro as of H1 2019.
OnePlus 7 Pro Specifications
The OnePlus 7 Pro is the most ambitious as well as the costliest device from the house of OnePlus. The phone drops the notch from the previous generation(OnePlus 6T) and the display resolution is now bumped up to QHD+ with 90Hz refresh rate. The front camera which was present in the notch is now replaced with a pop-up module, a trend started by its sister company Vivo. Also, it comes with UFS 3.0 storage, first in the segment when launched.
Coming to the common aspects of similar flagships, the 7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 coupled with either 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB ROM. The back of the phone is made of glass, whereas the sides are metal. The phone follows the same back design established by the OnePlus 6 except for the triple camera setup. The Warp charge from the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition returns with a 4,000 mAh battery to run the show.
Display
6.67 inches QHD+(1440 x 3120 pixels) Fluid AMOLED, ~516 PPI, 19:5:9 aspect ratio
Havoc-OS is notably the best custom ROM for any smartphone these days. It comes with so many additional features and customization options that are cherry-picked from other custom ROMs. Thus, Havoc-OS is the best custom ROM for OnePlus 7 Pro if you want almost everything. Going by the views and posts on XDA forums, it is the most installed ROM by OnePlus 7 Pro users.
Pixel Experience is the only ROM that provides you with the vanilla experience of Pixel software and features with some additional options. If you are a Pixel fan, then it is the go-to ROM for your OnePlus 7 Pro. However, if you are used to OxygenOS, then Pixel Experience is a big no as it lacks many useful features. Simply, it is the best no-nonsense custom ROM for any smartphone unless you care about heavy customizations and functionalities.
AOSiP is purely based on AOSP but comes with some additional features and customization options of its own. Thus, if you are looking for an AOSP-based custom ROM with some useful features, then AOSiP is a must-try. However, the current builds for OnePlus 7 Pro have some bugs related to Magisk 19.3, WiFi calling, and Android Auto screen flicker. But these bugs are expected to be squashed in the future builds.
OmniROM is one of the oldest custom ROMs which has been present since 2013. The ROM comes with OmniSwitch, a customized recent apps view for multi-tasking. This feature is so popular that it is now available on other fully-loaded custom ROMs as well. The current builds for the OnePlus 7 Pro are stable except for WiFi calling which however is forgettable.
Bliss ROM brings a number of customization options and performance tweaks. This ROM is also available for x86 PCs along with smartphones. Though this custom ROM has been around for some time now, it is not well-known yet. The current builds for OnePlus 7 Pro have a ton of bugs such as broken Dark UI, Pie Recents, Doze/Ambient Display, Font Service, and long-press home key for Google Assistant.
Paranoid Android is the forerunner of custom ROMs. Due to its immense popularity, the developers behind the project were hired by OnePlus which resulted in OxygenOS. The ROM is well-known for Pie, an on-screen navigation keys replacement which is now found on other custom ROMs as well. The current builds for OnePlus 7 Pro are in beta stage and may contain a number of bugs.
These are some best custom ROMs available for the OnePlus 7 Pro. Every custom ROM has its own advantages/disadvantages, but support is an important aspect which matters a lot while choosing the ROM to install on any device. Nonetheless, if you have any suggestion to add into the list, then do let us know via comments below.
Xiaomi‘s Mijia platform has a bunch of vacuum cleaners that can be purchased on its official online store. There is the Mi Robot series which are smart and programmable, there is also the upright traditional type, and last is the cordless handheld portable vacuum cleaners. The MIJIA Wireless Mites Vacuum Cleaner belongs to the third category and is a great choice if you are looking for a vacuum cleaner that doesn’t break the bank. The device is already open for crowdfunding on Xiaomi Mall. It comes with a retail price of 549 yuan ($78) but the crowdfunding price is 499 yuan ($71).
MIJIA Wireless Mites Vacuum Cleaner uses an 850,000 rpm high-speed motor and has a powerful 16kPa suction. The device also adopts a multi-vertex cyclone separation technology such that it can effectively achieve a four-fold filtration system, which can absorb 99.97% of particles, even as small as 0.3 microns.
Combined with 12800 beats/minute high-frequency depth tapping, hot air drying, and UV UV light, it can also deeply destroy the growth environment of locusts while killing and inhibit the breeding of mites from the source.
The MIJIA Wireless Mites Vacuum Cleaner adopts a 20cm open-type large suction port design to fit the surface of the mattress and increase the effective removal area. The large curved handle and the rear-mounted double roller make the touch more comfortable and easier to push when used. The matching brush cover prevents the sheets from getting caught while in use. There is a control button on the handle which can be set to four modes: standard mode, smooth suction mode, smooth suction heating, and standard heating mode.
In the standard model, the battery life is up to 28 minutes, which is enough to complete the cleaning of the entire house. It is also very convenient to charge. There is a special charging board which ships with the device. The charging will automatically stop when fully charged.
Huawei Mate 30 series is expected to meet us in September this year. So far, rumors have revealed that the phone could turn out to be quite powerful, just like its predecessor. The phone is expected to feature the new generation Kirin 990 chipset with a powerful camera setup at the back. However, it looks like the upgrades won’t just be limited in the camera and processor department. The Mate 30 is now being rumored to come with the world’s fastest wireless charging.
Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro supports 15W Wireless Charging
The Mate 30 is already shaping up to be a powerful smartphone. It is expected to feature the new Kirin 990 chipset with two 40MP cameras (one primary and another wide-angle) along with other sensors at the back. It should come with Android Q based EMUI 10. There are also rumors about the Lite version coming with the newly announced Harmony OS.
Meizu’s managed to drum up a decent amount of attention for their upcoming device, the Meizu 16s Pro. Yesterday, Meizu had confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on Aug. 28 to announce the Meizu 16s Pro. Then earlier today we saw the device’s specifications via an AnTuTu benchmark listing. Now the company president is posting pictures of the device over on Weibo.
Meizu President Yang Yan went to Weibo with an image of the upcoming device. Here, he’s specifically teasing the green colour scheme of the device, a first for a Meizu device. It also gives us a pretty good look at the new device, though there’s not really much to say about it. It’s very similar to the Meizu 16s, even down to the button layouts.
Other than that, the company’s still keeping hush about the device. That is, at least, from an official standpoint. Today’s AnTuTu leak has basically revealed the entire spec sheet for the device, and it’s pretty impressive to say the least. The Snapdragon 855+ SoC and Adreno 640 GPU by themselves are already pretty impressive, but the rest of specs are good too.
That Snapdragon 855+ SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it features an internal storage of 128 GB. It could be equipped with UFS 3.0 storage. The Android 9 Pie OS comes preinstalled on the device. AnTuTu claims that the smartphone has a front camera of 20-megapixel and its rear panel has a 48-megapixel triple camera system.
Meizu 16s Pro Specifications and Price (Rumored)
The display of the Meizu 16s Pro is speculated to 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. It will come with an in-display fingerprint reader. The smartphone may come in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options. Also, it is speculated to be available in multiple storage editions such as 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. The Android 9 Pie OS could be overlaid with the latest Flyme 8 UI.
The Meizu 16s Pro could be housing a 4,010mAh battery. The secondary lens of its triple camera setup could be 20-megapixel. The 3C listing of the Meizu 16s Pro had revealed that it may come with a charger that supports up to 24W fast charging. The other rumored features of the smartphone include Meizu Pay, Super mTouch and wireless charging. The 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage edition of the phone may have a price tag of 3,699 Yuan (~$527).
After announcing its departure from the Indian market a few months ago, HTC re-entered it again by launching a new affordable handset: HTC Wildfire X. It is the first phone from a revival of the old and iconic Wildfire series which made a lot of success in the past. But will it be able to contrast the fierce competition in the same segment? It will not be easy for HTC to push the sales of this device and, in order to establish whether or not it will stand a chance against the most important brands, we decided to compare it with two amazing entry-level devices launched in the last period. We are referring to the Samsung Galaxy A10s and Realme 3i: both debuted a few days ago and both look very promising. So, let’s discover together if Wildfire X has the necessary potential to beat them.

Design
Waterdrop notches, narrow bezels, and high screen-to-body ratios. All amazing designs to be simple entry-level devices. But their bodies are made of polycarbonate. Realme 3i and HTC Wildfire X look better because they have a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio and more sophisticated back covers with patterns and reflections. Which one you should go for among these two handsets is up to your tastes. I would choose the Wildfire X because it is thinner and lighter.
Display
Here it is essentially a draw as you would not notice huge differences between the displays of these handsets. All of them come with the same diagonal as well as the same kind of panel, the same pixel density, and the same resolution. So go ahead and do not focus so much on the display. In each case, you get a sufficient panel if you consider that we are talking about very affordable phones.
Specs & Software
Given that it features a way more powerful chipset, Realme 3i wins the hardware comparison. We are talking about the Helio P60 which is faster and more suitable for multi-tasking, compared to the Helio P22 found on both the HTC Wildfire X and Samsung Galaxy A10s. The only advantage of the HTC Wildfire X is that it comes in a variant with more internal storage: up to 128 GB. We would not choose the Samsung Galaxy A10s because it only sports 2 GB of RAM. Android 9 Pie is out of the box.
Camera
HTC Wildfire X has undoubtedly the most interesting rear camera department as it is the only with triple camera setup and one of the few entry-level phones to feature 2x optical zoom. We also like the pixel size of the main sensor which should help to capture more light in the dark. But when it comes to the front camera, Realme 3i should win the challenge because of its higher 13 MP resolution and 1080p video recording.
Battery
Realme 3i has a huge 4230 mAh and, despite we still did not test the batteries of each of these phones, we are pretty sure that it will last more in a lot of scenarios. The second place goes to the Samsung Galaxy A10s which still features a nice 4000 mAh battery, while HTC Wildfire X disappoints with just 3300 mAh, but this does not mean that its battery life will be bad.
Price
Prices and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A10s are still unannounced, but we know that HTC Wildfire X will start from €150/$170 and Realme 3i costs €100/$110 in its base variant. Even though it carries a more affordable price tag, Realme 3i looks a more valid alternative compared to its rivals, unless you want the most amazing rear cameras (in this case go for the HTC Wildfire X). If you do not care about cameras, Samsung Galaxy A10s is a more valid alternative to the HTC Wildfire X as it features a much bigger battery, but overall, it does not make so much sense to choose it instead of the Realme 3i.
In July 2018, Taiwan-based HTC had left the Indian smartphone market. The company has re-entered the Indian market with the launch of HTC Wildfire X smartphone. It is a mid-range phone that comes with a tall aspect ratio display and triple rear cameras. It has arrived with a starting price of Rs. 9,999 (~$140).
HTC Wildfire X Specifications and Features
The HTC Wildfire X houses a 6.22-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. It produces HD+ resolution. The smartphone delivers an impressive screen space of 88.8 percent. The Helio P22 chipset is the driving force of the smartphone and it comes with up to 4 GB of RAM. For storage, the phone offers up to 128 GB of native storage and a hybrid SIM slot for adding a microSD card.
The triple camera setup of the HTC Wildfire X has a primary lens of 12-megapixel, a telephoto lens of 8-megapixel with 2x optical zoom and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel. The dual-tone LED flash assisted triple camera sensors promises better low-light photography experience and 8x hybrid zoom. Placed on the frontside of the smartphone is a wide-angle 8-megapixel selfie camera with 86-degree field-of-view.
When it comes to design, the rear shell of the phone has a 3D OPVD mirror finish which gives an attractive appeal. The handset has a thickness of 7.95mm. The other features of the Wildfire X are rear-positioned fingerprint scanner, Android 9 Pie OS, Wi-Fi, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C and 3.5mm headphone slot. Lastly, the smartphone has a ‘Mybuddy’ security feature that automatically activate loud alarms in emergency situations apart from sending live location to family and friends. The said feature can also send real-time audio and video of the surroundings.
HTC Wildfire X Price and Availability
The HTC Wildfire X has arrived in two model such as 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. They are respectively priced at 10,999 (~$154) and Rs. 13,999 (~$196). These handsets will be exclusively available for buying through Flipkart starting from Aug. 22. Sapphire Blue is the sole color of the smartphone.
For a limited period, the aforementioned Wildfire X models will be available with reduced pricing of Rs. 9,999 (~$140) and Rs. 12,999 (~$182). The smartphone comes with 1-year warranty. Also, buyers will be able to take advantage of 6 months no-questions-asked accident damage protection along with a complimentary pick and drop service.
Xiaomi Poco F1 is still a favorite choice among the users who are looking to buy a device with excellent specifications. The competitive pricing, high-end specifications, and timely support are some significant advantages of purchasing the Poco F1. However, it misses on the high-end camera carrying a dual rear camera of 12MP + 5MP. Some users are opting for Google Camera ports to gain some additional software-based features on Poco F1.
Google Camera’s HDR+ is the prime feature hailed by various Pixel users. It manages to bring a beautiful well-exposed picture even in the rough conditions. The addition of Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL) has made it even mightier than any other camera app. The smart-burst, Slow-Mo, Video Recording, Portrait Mode and some other advanced features are part of it. The color balancing, exposure settings, and saturation control are far better in the Google Camera app than the Stock Apps. The picture doesn’t get improved with more megapixels, and the ultimate magic happens on how it is processed.
The port craze was started by the Ukranian developer, B-S-G, and later he released GCam ports for several devices. Subsequently, several developers launched their respective versions of GCam ports for a variety of devices. Similarly, Poco F1 received the GCam port from B-S-G and few other developers too. However, the one from B-S-G is the most stable port based on Google Camera 6.2.

The AnTuTu listing does not confirm the screen size of the Meizu 16s Pro. However, it states that it carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2232 pixels. As the rumor mill had speculated, the Meizu 16s Pro is indeed fueled by the Snapdragon 855+ chipset that includes Adreno 640 graphics.
The SoC of the Meizu 16s Pro is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it features an internal storage of 128 GB. It could be equipped with UFS 3.0 storage. Google Play Services has sort of become the nervous system of the Google licensed Android OS. The app incorporates essential Android services like GPS and background services to ensure that your Android phone runs smoothly. However, an issue with the app could very well mean trouble for your Android system in general and that seems to be the case with the latest 18.3.82 version. Reports are coming in stating that the new version of Google Play Services is draining Android’s battery.
The issue with the new Google Play Services version was first reported by Android Police who noticed an increase in Android phone battery drain reports after the update. Since the issue is with the Google Play Services app, devices across multiple Android versions and vendors are affected. In order to check whether your phone’s battery is draining because of the new update, just head over to Settings and then Battery and click on Show full device usage. In some phones, the option will pop up only after you click the three dots on the top right corner.
If Google Play Services come up in the top 3 apps sucking up your battery, you are likely a victim of this bug. Given that the app updates automatically for most users, you won’t even realize when your phone was updated to the new version.
There is no known fix to the problem but you can always revert back to the old Google Play Service version. Just keep an eye on the app as it will likely try to update itself to the new version. Given that this issue is popping up on multiple media websites, Google should already be working on a fix.

Chinese technology giant OnePlus is all set to launch the highly-anticipated OnePlus TV.After gathering ideas from the company’s fanbase for over a year, OnePlus has finally settled on the OnePlus TV moniker for its first smart TV. The official confirmation revealed their ideology behind the name. “No other brand can represent our value, vision and pride better than our own. Hence, the decision to stick with the OnePlus brand name was taken” reads the OnePlus PR. The logo for OnePlus TV was also unveiled in the same thread.
Instead of launching just one TV, OnePlus is rumored to bring a range of Smart TVs, featuring LCD and OLED panels. A certification listing from last week revealed that the company is working on an entire lineup of televisions, between 43 and 75 inches. OnePlus announced its plans to venture into the Smart TV market last year. CEO Pete Lau in a statement back in September 2018 claimed that the OnePlus TV will be a “premium, flagship option”. The plan is to offer “total connectivity” through their lineup. This is a move to counter the emerging dominance of Xiaomi’s Mi TV in the market.
Tipster Ishan Agarwal, in association with My Smart Price, revealed a probable launch date of the OnePlus TV earlier this week. He claims that based on reports from people ‘familiar with the development’, OnePlus will debut its first lineup of Smart TVs between Sept. 25 and Sept. 30. The launch event will likely be held on Sept. 26. The OnePlus TV will be an Amazon exclusive product in India, apart from being sold at the official stores. The company will also sell its OnePlus TVs in China and the US, as revealed in an earlier listing on Bluetooth SIG.
OnePlus is likely to bring their 43-inch TV to India, while the 75-inch model is aimed at the Chinese and US markets. OnePlus TV could be using the Google Android TV platform with minor customizations from OnePlus. “Our homes are starting to enjoy the benefits of smart connectivity. But something as simple as displaying photos from the mobile on the television is still quite challenging. With the introduction of AI our imagination is boundless, and we are looking forward to the future.” Pete Lau added in a media interview.
