Earlier this month, Huawei had confirmed that it will be launching the Mate 20 X 5G smartphone in July. The smartphone has already made its way countries like the U.K and UAE. Recent reports have revealed that Huawei may announce the Mate 20 X 5G smartphone in China on July 26. An invite that reveals July 26 launch date for the smartphone has been spotted today.
The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G launch invite shows that it will be announced at 2:30 PM on coming Friday in China. There is no information available yet on the pricing and availability of the smartphone. The device will be available through China Unicom operator in the country.
Huawei Mate 20 X 5G Specifications
The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G smartphone is equipped with a 7.2-inch OLED display. The waterdrop notch enabled display carries support for full HD+ resolution. The Kirin 980 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The Balong 5G modem is available on the phone for 5G connectivity.
The Mate 20 X borrows the Mate 20 Pro’s triple camera setup that comprises of a 40-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 20-megapixel lens. For capturing selfies, it possesses a 24-megapixel selfie snapper. The EMUI 9.1 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device.
Through the TENAA certification of the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G smartphone it has been revealed that it will be arriving in RAM variants such as 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB and storage editions like 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. The regular Mate 20 X has a 5,000mAh battery that is equipped with 22.5W fast charging. However, because of the 5G modifications inside the device, the Mate 20 X 5G has a smaller battery of 4,200mAh capacity. To make up for this deficit, it will be featuring faster 40W fast charging technology. Also, it will come with dual-SIM slot that will offer 5G connectivity on one SIM and 4G support on the other SIM.
Ahead of the launch, a hands-on video of the Mate 20 X 5G smartphone has also been spotted.
The Mate 20 X 5G is not the only 5G Huawei phone coming to China. Recently, the Mate X foldable phone with 5G support was also spotted on TENAA with full specs. Probably, the Mate X could be hitting the Chinese markets in the coming month.

The year 2018 was not easy for ZTE since a Chinese embargo was imposed on it in April. The situation was so bad that it appeared that the company may end its operations. It managed to overcome its rough patch when the ban was removed in July last year. While the company was going through a tough time, it continued to develop new technologies. On July 10, 2018, the Chinese firm had applied for a smartphone design patent. The patent was published in the previous week by the CNIPA patent agency of China. The patent documents reveal images of a smartphone with full-screen design on the front and a secondary display on its rear.
The patent images show that the frontside of the smartphone is mainly occupied by the display with a very slim-sized china. The front image suggests that the smartphone will offer around 95 percent of screen space. The front camera of the smartphone is not visible. Could it be sporting an under-display front camera?
Probably, the ZTE phone shown in patent illustrations could be also sporting the front camera tech, but there is no confirmation on it in the patent documents. The rear design of the ZTE smartphone shows that it is equipped with a squared-shaped second display on its rear. The presence of a secondary screen on the device suggests that it won’t be featuring a front camera at all. The powerful rear cameras along with the secondary display will allow the smartphone to capture topnotch selfie shots.
The rear design of the above shown ZTE phone reminds of the Meizu PRO 7 Plus smartphone from 2017 that featured a rectangular second screen below its horizontally arranged dual camera setup. Its second screen could work as a camera viewfinder and it could also show notifications.
Coming back to the ZTE phone, the design of its camera module suggests that it could be housing three camera sensors. There is an LED flash for the rear camera system. The right side of the smartphone has a volume rocker and a power key. There is another button available on the left spine of the device. The bottom edge of the smartphone features a USB-C slot positioned between a pair of external speakers. It does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack and its upper edge seems to only be equipped with a microphone.
While ZTE has been granted for a smartphone with dual display design, it remains to be seen whether it will release a phone such a design this year.
A few days ago, we reported that the Vivo could be launching a new smartphone named Vivo Z5 at the end of this month. Turns out, we were right. Vivo has today officially announced that it will be launching the Vivo Z5 smartphone on 31st July in China.
The poster announcing the smartphone’s launch also confirms that the device will come featuring triple rear camera sensors as well as features for heat dissipation for improved performance. But the company has not revealed any of the phone’s specifications.
However, the device was earlier spotted on TENNA, which revealed its specifications. The phone is expected to come with a 6.38-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. As for the rear cameras, the module will be placed in the top-left corner, with sensors aligned vertically.
The phone’s triple camera setup is expected to have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, coupled with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the chipset which is clocked at 2.3GHz but it’s not yet known which chipset is used.
However, it’s being speculated that the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC. It will come with 6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by a 4,420mAh battery and will be offered in Black color option.
It seems that this Vivo Z5 smartphone will directly compete against the recently launched Xiaomi Mi CC9 smartphone and so we expect the smartphone to be priced accordingly, which could be the deciding factor for the phone’s success in the market.
Huawei has had a pretty bad time since the past few months as the company has been put on the “Entity List” by the United States, effectively banning US-based firms from doing any kind of business with the Chinese giant.
While the company is trying to slowly overcome various problems associated with the ban, the company has still managed to impress many with the kind of business it is doing. At a time when the US is trying to convince its allies to ban Huawei from the development of 5G infrastructure, Huawei has revealed the number of 5G contracts it has.
The Chinese telecommunications giant’s board member and senior vice president Catherine Chen has confirmed that Huawei has signed over 50 commercial contracts for the 5G technology across the world, of which 28 are from Europe.
This is in line with the company’s statements released earlier. A few weeks ago, the company had claimed that more than half of its 50 commercial 5G contracts are with European carriers, with the rest being American carriers such as Verizon Wireless. Since March this year, Huawei had actively signed up 10 more global customers for 5G network deployment.
Earlier this month, Monaco launched the next-generation 5G mobile network technology and with that, it became the first country in Europe to launch the 5G network based on the technology supplied from China-based Huawei.
In a major relief to the Chinese telecom giant, the UK Parliament committee recently concluded that there are ‘no technical grounds’ to ban Huawei products and rejected the proposed British ban on the company’s products and services.
The letter from the committee adds that banning Huawei from 5G network rollouts will do nothing to stop the Chinese influence given that multiple vendors make their products in China. To ban the Chinese giant wouldn’t be enough to get rid of the perceived “threat” as one would have to get rid of every Chinese corporation.
Earlier this year, Oppo launched its all-new Oppo Reno smartphone series, making it the one with flagship smartphones and ditched the Oppo R lineup. The interesting part of the Reno lineup is the shark-fin front camera which is similar to the pop-up selfie camera.
Now, the Chinese company is gearing up to introduce protective covers for the Oppo Reno series smartphones. Last week, Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications filed for a trademark with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) for the name “FinShell” for the name as well as the associated logo.
The trademark for FinShell is categorized as Class 9/35/36/42 with a detailed description, including; ‘ smartphone case; Smartphone cover; screen protectors ‘. Although the description leaves the space that it also might go a different type of product, the name seems to be suggesting smartphone case.
The “Fin” part of the name refers to the Shark-fin camera module for the self-elevating selfie camera on the Reno series smartphone. The word “Shell” is being used in the smartphone industry to refer to cases and covers. Thus, it’s very likely that the upcoming FinShark product is a case for the Oppo Reno series devices.
However, it is not yet known which of the Reno series smartphones will get the case that has now been trademarked. Given that the Reno Z comes with a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera, the phone seems out of the question for the new cover.
Recently, the company launched the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom FC Barcelona Edition which comes with a protective cover in the box. Apart from this special edition phone, there are four smartphones in this series so far — Oppo Reno, Reno 10X Zoom Edition, Reno 5G, and Reno Z. Also, the company is gearing up to launch the Reno F smartphone in the coming weeks but nothing much is known about it yet.
Honor is known for its beautiful smartphones. And the company regularly adds new colors to its existing models to keep it fresh. After launching the Phantom Blue color variant for the Honor 20, it looks like the brand will add a new color variant for its more powerful sibling, the Honor 20 Pro.
Honor 20 Pro’s new pink and purple gradient was spotted on a TV channel
In a television show aired in China, a sharp-eyed viewer spotted a never before seen color for the Honor 20 Pro. From the image that we can see above, the phone has a hint of pink as well as purple. However, currently, the Honor 20 Pro has only two colors for sale: Phantom Blue and Gradient Purple. So, this is very likely going to be a new addition to the phone’s color variants. Honestly, the brand seems to have figured out how to match different colors perfectly. So this Pink and Purple gradient mix looks pretty amazing as well.
We haven’t seen any teasers or mention of this color from Honor yet. However, given that this color variant was officially shown off on a TV broadcast, it’s very likely we’ll hear more about it in the near future.
Yesterday, Redmi said it would make an important announcement on Monday. Staying true to its promise, Redmi has released a teaser for its 64MP camera smartphone. It’s possible that the new Redmi model would beat other brands like Realme and Samsung to release the world’s first 64MP camera smartphone.
Redmi released a camera sample from its 64MP smartphone on its official Weibo account earlier today. Technically, we didn’t get an original sample from the phone. However, the teaser zooms into the picture of the cat to show crisp details around its eye. Unfortunately, that’s all we got from the official teaser.
Releasing a 64MP smartphone would be a big move by the brand which recently split off with its parent, Xiaomi. Both Realme and Samsung are said to be working on 64MP smartphones but their launch is expected to be later this year. In fact, Realme’s CEO Madhav Sheth already shared a couple of samples back in June giving us a glimpse of the level details from its 64MP phone. But, given the timing of the teaser, it looks like Redmi will beat both Realme and Samsung in releasing the world’s first 64MP smartphone.
Redmi Note 7 Pro already has a large 48MP primary camera sensor
Redmi seems to be shouldering a lot of responsibility under the guidance of its new head, Lu Weibing. The brand’s Redmi K20 Pro and the Redmi Note 7 series have been really well received in China as well as internationally, all thanks to its quality hardware at an affordable price tag. With a 64MP camera phone in the works, the brand is going to be extremely busy in the coming weeks.

We think this comparison with Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is one of the best ways to let you find out. Design
Inside this trio of mid-rangers, each phone has a very attractive design as well as important aesthetic qualities that could let you choose one or another. The Xiaomi Mi A3 has definitely the most stunning glass back with its light effects changing depending on the reflection. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is definitely less impressive if we only consider its look, but it is the most compact, the thinnest and the most lightweight handset of this trio. Xiaomi Mi 9T is the most futuristic as it sports a higher screen-to-body ratio and a motorized pop-up camera.
Display
If you want the widest display with the most accurate color reproduction as well as a high definition, go for the Xiaomi Mi 9T. It is the perfect mid-ranger for multimedia lovers and productivity users. Right after, there is Xiaomi Mi 9 SE which is still HDR-compliant but it has a way smaller display: just 5.97 inches. Xiaomi Mi A3 has a disappointing panel as it comes with a low-detailed HD+ resolution and a Pentile matrix, so the level of definition is inferior. It is an AMOLED panel, but it is not even HDR-compliant.
Specs & Software
Xiaomi Mi 9T is equipped with the most powerful chipset: the Snapdragon 730, which is also the best Qualcomm’s processor in the midrange segment. If you want a better chipset than Snapdragon 730 in Qualcomm’s line-up, you must go for the 800 series. The Xiaomi Mi 9T is also available with up to 6 GB of RAM, but it lacks a micro SD slot. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is just one step back with its Snapdragon 712 which is a slight upgrade of the Snapdragon 710 found on a lot of the upper-midrange phones in 2019. Xiaomi Mi A3 has an even less powerful chipset, but it comes with Android One which provides stock and lightweight Android experience as well as longer and faster updates by Google.
Camera
The best rear camera department belongs to both the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both are equipped with a 48 MP f/1.8 main sensor, a 13 MP ultrawide lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. If we consider selfies, then Xiaomi Mi A3 is better because it sports an awesome 32 MP snapper on the front side. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a slightly better selfie snapper than Xiaomi Mi 9T, especially in low light conditions.
Battery
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is the thinnest and most lightweight one, but it also has a way smaller battery: that is the price to pay for having the most compact phone. Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi 9T have 4030 and 4000 mAh batteries respectively, but the former wins the battery life comparison due to its more efficient and smaller HD display.
Price
Globally, Xiaomi Mi A3 launches on July 25 with a €250/$280 price tag. You can find Xiaomi Mi 9 SE at the same price thanks to online street prices, while you need at least €300/$335 for the Mi 9T. Overall, at least until the price of Xiaomi Mi A3 drops to €200/$225, Xiaomi Mi 9T is the best choice with its great display, big battery, better hardware, and good cameras.
The Redmi K20 series is still being talked about thanks to its recent release in India but it seems the folks in China are ready to move to the next device scheduled for launch this year.
A Weibo post by the head of Redmi, Lu Weibing, has revealed there will be an announcement tomorrow morning at 10 AM about future products. There is no hint about what tomorrow’s announcement will be about, so your guess is as good as ours.
We do know that Redmi is planning to launch a phone with a Snapdragon 855+ processor but we have a feeling that will come much later since the Redmi K20 Pro is just 2 months old.
We also know Redmi is developing a 5G phone. We have a feeling tomorrow’s announcement may actually be a 5G version of the Redmi K20 Pro seeing as China is already granting manufacturers licenses to sell 5G devices in the country.
Tomorrow is almost here, and by this time we should already know what Redmi has planned.
The last time we heard from Coolpad was last month when it launched the Coolpad Cool 3 Plus in India. It shares a lot of its specs with the Coolpad Cool 9 which launched earlier in June in China. An internal memo has leaked revealing its plans for the rest of the year.
The memo which was addressed to Coolpad employees was written by the company’s CEO, Chen Jiajun. The top executive revealed in the memo that its performance overseas is improving. Its Coolpad Legacy smartphone actually received positive reviews in the US where it is sold by carriers like Metro and Boost Mobile.
He revealed that with the company back on track, they will launch new phones in September, focus on R&D and improving their position in the market, and also enter into the 5G market.
In the memo, Mr. Chen also called for the company to be united irrespective of the challenges they face. Coolpad has actually had a bit of a rough year which has led to some restructuring at the head.
At the beginning of the year, it removed the Vice-Chairman and CEO Jiang Chao, just a few days after he made an appearance at CES 2019. In April 2019, it announced it made a loss of HK$ 409 million for 2018 fiscal year, a significant reduction from 2017’s HK$ 2.67 billion loss. Coolpad also appointed a new head for its Indian arm in June.
The new Indian CEO, Fisher Yuan, who was the former Vice President of Sales and Supply released a statement saying they “plan to disrupt the Indian consumer market by making innovative technology available at extremely affordable price points”. He also said they will launch 5G-ready smartphones in India.
Based on the above statement, we expect some of the new products scheduled to launch in September in China will also find their way to India. We have no info regarding any of the upcoming smartphones but we hope the Coolpad N10 PRO is among the lineup. Following its appearance on the official website in June, we haven’t heard anything new about it.
The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is one of Huawei’s few phones with a pop-up selfie camera. It is already on sale in some countries and it even launched in Nigeria this month with a price tag of NGN 83,900 (~$232). Now, Amazon has teased the phone will be launching in India soon.
A teaser on the mobile app says the mid-range phone is coming soon and includes a silhouette of the phone with its pop-up selfie camera.
GSMArena says a source informed them the phone will be priced under INR 20,000 (~$290). That pricing is vague as there are almost two categories under that mark.
The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 has a 6.59-inch Ultra FullView Display with a 2340 x 1080 resolution. There is a Kirin 710F processor under the hood. We don’t know the variant that will be available in India but the one sold in Nigeria has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, the phone also has a 4GB RAM + 64GB version. There is a MicroSD card slot for adding extra storage
The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor with 3D portrait face retouching. There is a 16MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup on the rear with AI scene detection. The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 packs a 4000mAh battery, has a USB Type-C port and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie and comes in Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Sapphire Blue.

LG may or may not be planning the launch of a new series of smartphones. Just last month, it announced a new series of affordable smartphones for the Indian market which includes the LG W10, LG W30, and the LG W30 Pro. Now, a trademark application has revealed the name of a new phone called the LG M10.
1 of 3
LG M10
LG V60
LG V70
The application was filed at the Korean Intellectual Property Office and it says the trademark which is “M10” was filed under the Smartphones category. The application was filed on the 8th of July 2019.
While there are reports this may be a new line, we have a feeling this is the LG W10 taking on a new name in LG’s home country. This is not unusual for LG. One phone may go buy one name in one market and by another name in its home country. The LG X6 (in Korea), for example, is the same device as the LG Q60. It is also known as the LG K12 Prime in Brazil.
This is just speculation and the LG M10 may actually be the first of a brand-new series not similar to the W-series.
Apart from the M10, LG has also applied for trademarks for V60 and V70 which obviously are names of future LG V-series smartphones. The latest in the V-series is the LG V50 ThinQ which launched earlier this year. There is a chance we may get an LG V60 ThinQ later this year.
The Motorola One Action is an upcoming smartphone whose specs and renders leaked back in June. The device is yet to get a release date but it has been spotted on the Android Enterprise website, which may be a hint that the launch is close.
The Android Enterprise listing has some of the specs of the phone and they match those from the leak in June.
The Motorola Action has a punch-hole display that is 6.3-inches in size. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also runs Android 9 Pie and has NFC and a fingerprint scanner. These are the specs listed on the page.
The included image confirms the punch-hole display and a tall 21:9 aspect ratio. The phone also has its volume rocker and power button on the right. There is no image showing the phone’s rear but the leaked render revealed it has a triple camera setup.
The Motorola Action has been reported to have an Exynos 9609 processor, a 3500mAh battery and a 12.6MP primary rear camera. It is also expected to come in multiple configurations including a version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The phone will be Motorola‘s second Android One phone this year but it may not be the last. Evan Blass released the names of two more unreleased Android One phones from the manufacturer. There is the Motorola One Pro whose leaked renders show it has a quad-camera setup on the back. There is also the Motorola One Macro which we know nothing about at the moment.

Design
The design champion here is undoubtedly the Xiaomi Mi A3. We bet you already seen the punch-hole display on the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 above, but the truth is that Xiaomi Mi A3 has better materials and even a more amazing look on its rear side. The handset rocks a glass back and an aluminum frame, while both Samsung Galaxy A50 and Huawei P20 Lite 2019 have a plastic design. Further, Xiaomi Mi A3 is way more compact, it fits better in a pocket and it is easier to use with one hand, especially if you consider that (unless you have very small hands) you can use the whole keyboard with one single finger while you hold it. If we exclude the Xiaomi Mi A3, Huawei P20 Lite 2019 is my favorite one due to its punch-hole display, despite it has a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
Display
The display is the weakest point of the Xiaomi Mi A3, not because it has a bad image reproduction, but simply because Xiaomi opted for a just HD+ resolution, while other devices in the same price range usually come with Full HD+ displays. Samsung Galaxy A50 and Huawei P20 Lite 2019 both come with a Full HD+ display, but I prefer the former because it boasts a Super AMOLED panel with more brilliant colors and even an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Specs & Software
If we take the most expensive variants of these handsets, Samsung Galaxy A50 is the winner when it comes to hardware departments. It has a powerful (and under-rated) Exynos 9610 chipset built at 10 nm and paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage which you can furtherly expand with a micro SD. Note that the micro SD slot supports expansion cards up to 1 TB of storage, that is really cool. At the second place, there is the Xiaomi Mi A3 which I also prefer because of its software (Android One based on Android Pie). It has the new 11 nm Snapdragon 665 chipset which we consider better than the Kirin 710 found on the Huawei P20 Lite 2019.
Camera
Despite Huawei P20 Lite 2019 has a rear quad camera including a dedicated macro camera, Xiaomi Mi A3 is the phone which provides the best photo quality. It is equipped with an amazing main 48 MP shooter as well as an outstanding 32 MP snapper for selfies, an ultrawide lens, and a depth sensor. Unlike its rivals, it is able to record 4K videos. I like the Samsung Galaxy A50 more than Huawei P20 Lite because of its 25 MP main sensor which captures a lot of detail compared to the main 16 MP shooter on the Huawei P20 Lite 2019.
Battery
Coming to the batteries, you get the same capacity for each of these handsets (just 30 mAh more for the Mi A3), but the Xiaomi Mi A3 will last more on a single charge due to its low-resolution and smaller display. And let’s not forget about the very efficient Snapdragon 665 SoC which comes with very optimized energy consumption.
Price
€250/$280 for Xiaomi Mi A3 and Samsung Galaxy A50, while Huawei P20 Lite 2019 starts from €280/$315. Xiaomi Mi A3 has a too smaller display for a lot of potential users, its resolution is limited, but it has the best design, cameras, and battery. However, that does not meet my preferences: call me nonconformist, but I would go for the Samsung Galaxy A50 and its bigger Full HD+ display. Which one would you pick?
The Vivo V15 Pro launched early this year, February to be precise. A month after it went on sale, it was crowned the fastest-selling V-series smartphone in India. It also got a non-Pro model a month after it launched.
A report has surfaced saying Vivo has stopped production of both phones. According to 91Mobiles, sources have informed them that Vivo has stopped manufacturing the two smartphones. The sources also added that the phones will eventually be discontinued and will only be available in offline stores until stock lasts. At the moment, the phones are still available to buy on the online Vivo Shop for slightly less than their launch prices.
The reason for the discontinuation is said to be because of the upcoming Vivo S series which includes the Helio P65-powered Vivo S1. Vivo is also launching the iQOO sub-brand in India soon which may also be one of the reasons for the discontinuation.
Left to us, we think the Vivo V15 Pro should remain in production but get a further price cut to prevent being closely priced to the upcoming iQOO phones and Vivo S1. We also think the Vivo V9 and V11 series should be the ones getting the boot. Both are currently still on sale on the Vivo online shop. The V9 Pro even has a price tag that is close to the more powerful Vivo Z1.
To be honest, we don’t understand what Vivo is doing with its pricing. There are too many models in the market that are closely priced with stark differences in specs and features.
Sony hasn’t been on top of their game as of late, but now we’ve got something new from them. According to LetsGoDigital, the company has just filed a new patent for a foldable smartphone. What makes Sony’s approach unique however is that the patent shows all the common smartphone sensors crammed in the screen, unlike other approaches.
The new foldable smartphone patent from Sony shows a flexible display on the front and back with a pressure sensor, acceleration sensor, and temperature sensor. The company also believes they can have other sensors such as a photosensor and a resistance sensor could also be added to the display. These allow the device to find out how the user is holding their device, which by extension allow the UI to adapt to the user’s holding habits.
The front and rear sides would have transparent displays, and the smartphone itself would fold together in a curved state. This means it’s unlike Samsung’s approach which involves two displays on the inside and outside of the fold. The company has opted for the display to only be on the outside, which firmly places it in the Huawei Mate X school of folding phones.
There’s no word on when Sony will launch its foldable smartphone or if we’ll even ever see this as a Sony folding phone. But it seems like Samsung and Huawei are pushing forward into the foldable phone sector, and it makes sense that Sony would want to dip in too. Don’t want to be late to the party and need to contend with companies like Xiaomi.
Yesterday Black Shark released a poster revealing that it would launch a Black Shark 2 Pro on July 30. Prior to that, the company had teased that it would release a Snapdragon 855+ phone. We now have confirmation that the Black Shark 2 Pro is the Snapdragon 855+ phone, thanks to a Geekbench listing of the device.
The device was benchmarked yesterday as the “blackshark DLT-A0”. It runs Android 9 Pie and has 12GB of RAM. The device scored 3623 points in the single-core test and 11367 points in the multi-core test. The scores are similar to those of the ROG Phone 2 which is also powered by the Snapdragon 855+ processor, though the Black Shark scored slightly higher.
With respect to design, the Black Shark 2 Pro will likely not differ from the standard version. We also have a feeling the processor will be the only major difference between both phones.
The Black Shark 2 Pro will launch on July 30 and the event will begin at 15:00 China time and end by 17:00.
