Baseus has launched its latest over-ear Bluetooth headphones, the BH1, in China. The headphones are now available on JD.com at a retail price of 249 yuan ($35). The BH1 targets users looking for advanced noise cancellation and Hi-Res audio without a high price tag.

Baseus BH1 Headphones Specifications

The Baseus BH1 supports hybrid active noise cancellation rated up to -45dB. It uses a triple-layer noise reduction system combined with a four-microphone ANC array and physical sound-isolating earcups. The headphone also includes adaptive ANC 3.0, which automatically adjusts the noise cancellation level based on the surrounding noise. The system can analyze and react to ambient changes up to 380,000 times per second.

Baseus has equipped the BH1 with 40mm dynamic drivers that work in tandem with a dual-chamber acoustic structure and Super Bass Dynamic Enhancement 2.0 technology to enhance low frequencies in real time down to 20Hz. The headphones are certified for both Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless Audio, and support high-resolution audio streaming via the LDAC codec at up to 96kHz/24-bit quality.

The Baseus BH1 comes with a 600mAh battery that provides up to 80 hours of music playback without ANC and about 55 hours with ANC on. It also offers fast charging, delivering up to 12 hours of use from just a 10-minute charge. The headphones charge via USB Type-C and support wired playback through a 3.5mm AUX port, with ANC remaining functional even in wired mode.

The headphones weigh 238 grams and use a U-shaped floating headband designed to reduce pressure on the top of the head. The earcups are covered in breathable PU leather and filled with soft memory foam for long-term comfort. The earcups also rotate and fold inward for easier portability.

The BH1 supports Bluetooth 6.0 with a wireless range of up to 10 meters. It allows dual-device connectivity and offers low-latency transmission at just 38ms. For calls, Baseus uses a five-microphone ENC system to reduce ambient noise.

Additionally, the headphones feature transparency mode for ambient awareness, responsive touch controls, and support for voice assistants. The ANC levels and playback settings can be changed through the Baseus app.

Baseus offers the BH1 in three color options: Star Moon White, Interstellar Black, and Nebula Pink.

Nothing Rolls Out Smart AI Features and Calendar Sync in Essential Space

Nothing has rolled out a major update to Essential Space, adding new features that improve productivity and user control. The update is available now and works over Wi-Fi through the Google Play Store. No system update is needed.

Essential Space now syncs directly with Google Calendar. Tasks created in the interface will automatically appear in your calendar, removing the need for manual entry.

The update also adds Editable Memory. You can now review, edit, and correct AI-generated summaries. This helps improve accuracy, especially when the assistant misses a detail or misinterprets something.

Essential Recorder has two new features. First, summaries of recorded content can now be edited. If the AI misses something during a meeting or interview, you can fix it. Second, you can now share your recordings as an image, PDF, or Markdown file. This makes it easy to send content to others in a clean and usable format.

These updates are live on the Nothing Phone (3). Other Nothing phones with the Essential Key will get the features soon.

This update is designed to improve how users interact with AI tools without requiring a full software update. Just connect to Wi-Fi, and the new version of Essential Space will install through the Play Store.

Indian smartphone maker Lava is gearing up to launch two new budget devices under its Blaze lineup this month: the Blaze AMOLED 2 and the intriguingly named Blaze Dragon.

As the name suggests, the Blaze AMOLED 2 will sport an AMOLED display as its key highlight. But it’s the Blaze Dragon we are talking about today, thanks to a fresh round of leaks on X (formerly Twitter).

According to the leak, the Blaze Dragon will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset paired with UFS 3.1 storage.

On the camera front, it features a 50MP primary sensor, and the official render shows a second rear camera. While there’s no confirmation yet, it’s likely a 2MP depth or bokeh sensor — or, if we’re lucky, maybe an ultrawide.

The official press render shows the Blaze Dragon in a beige colorway, but another tipster, Mukul Sharma, shared hands-on images of a sleek black variant. Interestingly, the camera module in the black version reflects a rainbow-like hue, giving it a distinct visual flair.

Up front, the Blaze Dragon goes with a waterdrop-style notch, expected for this tier. On the bright side, it keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is becoming rarer these days. Biometrics is handled by a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.

As for the price, it is rumored to launch under Rs 10,000 in India. The Blaze AMOLED 2 will likely cater to a slightly higher segment. The devices are scheduled for launch on July 25—this Friday.

That’s higher than any Samsung foldable before it, pushing this futuristic smartphone tablet hybrid further into ultra-premium territory. So the real question isn’t just what the Fold 7 offers, it’s who it’s actually for.

1. If You’re Coming from a Fold 5 or Earlier, the Upgrade Feels Big

Let’s start with the obvious group: owners of older Fold models like the Z Fold 5, Z Fold 4, and Fold 3. For these users, the Fold 7 represents a major leap forward. The cover display is now wider and taller at 6.5 inches with a more comfortable 21:9 aspect ratio, and the internal screen stretches to a massive 8 inches, 11% larger than before. Samsung has also replaced the awkward under-display camera with a regular 10MP sensor, finally fixing what felt like a downgrade in earlier models.

The new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip brings stronger AI performance and graphics, but more importantly, there’s a 200MP main camera on the back, a first for the Fold line. You’ll still find a 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP 3x telephoto, but the jump to that ultra-high-res sensor finally gives the Fold a camera setup that competes with the S series.

Add to that the lighter 215g chassis (even lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra), a much thinner build at just 4.2mm unfolded, and a reengineered Armor FlexHinge with better durability and less visible creasing. For users with older Folds, these are real, tangible changes that make daily use feel more modern and comfortable.

2. Z Fold 6 Owners Should Probably Sit This One Out

If you just bought the Galaxy Z Fold 6, don’t panic. You’re not missing out on much. While the Fold 7 introduces a larger screen, new hinge design, and camera upgrades, the processor, battery size, and charging speeds remain virtually unchanged. Even software-wise, both devices will run Android 16 with One UI 8, and most of the new Galaxy AI features like Portrait Studio, Audio Eraser, and Side-by-Side editing are likely coming to the Fold 6 via updates.

Unless you’re desperate for that 200MP sensor or lighter frame, there’s little here to justify spending another two grand within a year. You’re already holding a foldable powerhouse.

3. Pixel 9 Pro Fold, OnePlus Open or Foldable Flagship Users

If you’re coming from a Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, OnePlus Open (no more upgrades this year though), or similar flagship foldable, the Fold 7 doesn’t dramatically change the game. Those devices already offer wide cover displays, thin bodies, and competitive camera systems. While Samsung now matches or exceeds them in many areas, it’s not a night-and-day difference.

Yes, Samsung’s software experience is more mature, and the AI tools are better integrated. But the upgrade would be more of a sideways move than a leap forward. Unless you’re itching for a 200MP sensor or want Samsung’s ecosystem benefits, there’s little urgency to switch.

4. New to Foldables? This is the Best Version Yet

For foldable newcomers with deep pockets, the Z Fold 7 is now a more approachable and practical entry point than ever before. The refinements to size, weight, hinge reliability, and AI-powered productivity make it feel less like an experiment and more like a mature tool. Samsung’s growing support for long-term updates (seven years!) also means you’re not just future-proofed but AI-proofed too.

And if you’re upgrading from a traditional slab phone and want more screen without giving up portability, the Fold 7 finally gets enough of the basics right to be worth serious consideration, especially with Samsung’s generous trade-in offers.

OxygenOS June 2025 FAQ Answers User Concerns on Messenger, Camera Bugs, and 5.5G Availability

OnePlus has released its OxygenOS FAQ for June 2025, covering recurring issues and improvements across supported devices. Key questions and solutions include app bugs, feature updates, and device compatibility problems.

Some users reported issues with sending messages and loading photos on Messenger. OnePlus recommends uninstalling version 512.1.0.67.109 and switching to version 509.0.57.109 until Meta releases an official fix.

For the Notes app, users can now add media by selecting: Note > edit > camera button. More details are available in previous updates about Notes version 2.0.

Private Safe now supports file search. Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Private safe > search to use the feature.

Battery tracking has also changed. The old “Screen on since last charge” feature is now replaced with “Used since last full charge,” which shows total usage time. OnePlus is considering restoring both options in future updates.

Regarding 5.5G, availability is limited to supported models and Jio users in India. Access may vary by device and carrier.

An issue with automatic screenshots during screen translation is being worked on. OnePlus has acknowledged it and is preparing a fix.

Users facing problems adding debit or credit cards to Amazon are advised to update the Amazon app from the Play Store.

If the camera shows images upside down, the issue may be hardware-related. A visit to a OnePlus service center is recommended.

A lock screen password verification error within apps can be fixed using one of three methods: resetting all settings (not data), clearing the Settings app cache, or force restarting the device. If these do not help, users should visit a service center for a full software flash.

For missing audio in Google phone recordings, updating the Google Dialer to version V178.0.770794935 or later resolves the issue.

World’s first 10,000mAh smartphone could launch in 2026, and it’s not a brick

A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that a mid-range smartphone with a massive 10,000mAh battery is currently being tested for release in the first half of 2026. If accurate, it would be the first time a mainstream smartphone hits a five-digit battery capacity.

Though the source didn’t mention a specific brand, the device could be from Realme, which previously showcased a concept phone with a 10,000mAh battery.

Silicon-carbon battery is doing the magic

The rise of such large-capacity batteries is closely tied to the growing adoption of silicon-carbon negative electrode battery technology.

Compared to traditional graphite batteries, which max out at around 372mAh per gram, silicon-carbon batteries can theoretically deliver up to 4,200mAh per gram (via mydrivers). That higher capacity allows manufacturers to significantly boost battery life without drastically increasing the size of the battery unit.

Realme’s concept battery reportedly uses a 10 percent silicon ratio and offers an energy density of 887Wh/L, one of the highest in the industry. That makes it easier to imagine a future where massive batteries don’t require bulky designs.

There’s no word yet on an official launch, but with new leaks surfacing, the idea of a 10,000mAh battery phone doesn’t seem far off. Perhaps even more surprising, the source says the phone is just 8.5mm thick, comparable to many standard smartphones today.

While its hard to believe, phones with large silicon-carbon batteries are already available in China with a slim design. The Honor Power, for instance, has a 8000mAh cell in an 8mm chassis.

If Realme, or another manufacturer, brings such a phone to market, it could start a trend of ultra-high-capacity phones that prioritize endurance and slim design.

Lenovo has officially launched the Legion Magnetic Cooler in China. The compact cooling accessory is now available for purchase at a price of 149 yuan ($20). It is designed for mobile gamers and users who need reliable thermal management during extended smartphone use.

The Legion Magnetic Cooler uses a 10W semiconductor refrigeration module that provides active cooling through thermoelectric technology. Lenovo claims the cooler can lower a device’s surface temperature by up to 20°C under ideal conditions.

It features a large 1846mm² heat dissipation area and supports three cooling modes: Ice Cool, Extreme Cold, and Ice Sealed. The fan speed varies across these modes, reaching up to 5000 RPM in the most aggressive setting.

Despite its high-speed operation, the cooler maintains low noise levels. Lenovo states that the fan produces only about 30dB of sound, making it suitable for quiet environments. The cooler also includes a waterproof internal PCB, which helps prevent issues caused by condensation during use.

Galaxy Z Fold7 is super slim — but some demo units in US are already facing a hinge issue

Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold7 has turned heads with its slim 8.9mm folded profile and reduced crease visibility. But early reports of some units not opening fully flat have caught the attention of both fans and critics. So, is this a sign of trouble or just a minor quirk?

Since the Fold7 hit US stores last week, a few users — including those on Reddit — have pointed out that some demo units at retail stores weren’t opening completely flat. One post showed a Fold7 display stuck at around 170-165 degrees. Multiple users confirmed seeing a similar issue, though others chimed in saying their experience was fine.

While demo units often take a beating from curious shoppers, some feel it’s a bit early for hinge issues to show up. The timing feels premature for any wear-related problems.

The company says the Flex Hinge is designed to open between 178.5 and 181.5 degrees. If a unit doesn’t meet that range, it qualifies for a warranty replacement — something a few Reddit users highlighted from Samsung’s customer support responses.

Speculations suggest the issue could be down to mishandled demo phones or quality control issues associated with individual units. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a 4,400mAh battery.

OnePlus V90P00 Update Adds New Translate App and AI Photo Tools

Anker has expanded its desktop charging lineup with the launch of the 7-in-1 Nano Charging Station. It is priced at $89.99 in the U.S. and is designed to declutter desk setups while providing fast and intelligent charging for multiple devices simultaneously.

Xiaomi has launched the Bone Conduction Headphones 2 in China, pricing them at 699 yuan ($97). The new headphones are now available for pre-order on JD.com and will go on sale across all channels on July 21.

Samsung has launched a new budget-friendly device in India, expanding its F-series lineup. According to the company, the Galaxy F36 5G is aimed at users seeking long-term software support and essential flagship-level features under Rs 20,000. With sale details and complete specifications now available, here’s everything you need to know.

The Galaxy F36 5G sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front. On July 21, Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro will be unveiled in China. With a few days remaining for the launch, the entire specifications of both smartphones have emerged on Weibo. Here’s a look at what to expect from these devices.

As can be seen above, Chinese tipsters like Digital Chat Station and Bald Panda have all the important details about the K13 Turbo series. The leak reveals that it will feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED LTPS screen that supports a 1.5K resolution and a short-focus in-screen fingerprint sensor. Previous reports have revealed that it will also support a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. Both devices are said to feature a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging support.

The K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro are equipped with Dimensity 8450 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. These gaming-focused phones are also fitted with a built-in active cooling fan and RGB lighting.

In terms of build, both devices are said to have a plastic middle frame and an IP66/68/69-rated body. The Pro edition is said to measure 8.31mm in thickness and weigh 208 grams. As far as the non-Pro variant is concerned, it is said to have similar dimensions and weight.

Oppo has already confirmed that the K13 Turbo will be available in multiple configurations, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+256GB. On the other hand, the Pro version will be available in the same configurations, along with an additional higher 16GB+512GB variant. Both phones will come in black and purple shades. While the K13 Turbo will come in a white model, the Turbo Pro edition will have a silver option.

Speculations are rife that the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro may debut in markets outside of China in August or September. However, there is no clarity on whether the K13 Turbo will release globally.

Samsung’s Fan Edition lineup is about to grow. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE are expected to launch later in 2025, and leaked details suggest they may have a real edge over the regular Buds 3 — better noise isolation.

On July 19, 2025, leaker Evan Blass shared the first image of the Buds 3 FE on X. The design looks similar to the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro, with stems for touch controls like volume and playback. But unlike the open-fit Buds 3, the Buds 3 FE will use silicone ear tips — a simple change that could make a big difference.

A snug in-ear fit often means better passive noise isolation and, by extension, more effective active noise cancellation (ANC). That’s something the Buds 3 reportedly struggle with, given their open design.

The Buds 3 FE are also expected to bring ANC, Ambient Mode, improved battery life, and possibly Galaxy AI features like real-time translation through Interpreter Mode. Add in Bixby support, an equalizer via the Galaxy Wearable app, Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio, and they’re shaping up to be an appealing option in the budget wireless earbud space.

As for pricing, rumors suggest a range of $99 to $129, with a possible launch alongside the Galaxy S25 FE.

With their in-ear tips, ANC, AI features, and a sub-$130 price point, the Buds 3 FE could end up being the better pick for users who care about sound isolation. Expect more details closer to their late 2025 release.
