Acer’s new Nitro XV240 F6 monitor is officially on sale in China, and if you’re serious about competitive gaming, this 24-inch beast might just be overkill in the best way. First announced back in September, the monitor is finally available at 5,989 yuan (roughly $830), and it’s bringing some serious speed to the table—literally.

The headline feature here is the overclocked 600Hz refresh rate when connected via DisplayPort. That’s well beyond the 240Hz limit you’ll get over HDMI, and it puts the XV240 F6 in rare company. Pair that with a 0.1ms GtG response time, and you’ve got one of the fastest displays on the market right now.

The display itself is a 24.1-inch Full HD TN panel, with 1920 x 1080 resolution and support for 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut—surprisingly good color coverage for a TN screen. Acer’s also claiming wide 170-degree viewing angles and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, so this isn’t your old-school washed-out TN experience. It’s also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, and can hit peak brightness levels of up to 350 nits.

AMD FreeSync Premium is onboard for smoother, tear-free gaming, and there are a couple of 2W speakers built-in for basic audio output. I/O is solid: two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a standard 3.5mm audio jack. The stand is fully adjustable—height, tilt, swivel, and pivot—and there’s support for 100x100mm VESA mounting if you want to clean up your desk setup.

Design-wise, Acer keeps it aggressive with red accents, slim bezels for multi-monitor setups, and smart thermal design to keep everything cool during long sessions. And for those who grind for hours, Acer’s included its usual set of eye-care features—flicker-free backlighting, low blue light tech, and a matte ComfyView coating to keep glare in check.

Vivo has recently confirmed that the V50e smartphone will be launching in India on April 10. The phone will be available in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White, both featuring subtle color shifts under light and individually unique patterns.

Vivo has revealed several key features of its upcoming Vivo V50e smartphone, including a 50MP Auto Focus front camera with a group selfie function, a 116-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, and a Sony IMX882 primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization. Haier Appliances India has launched the M80F Series Mini LED 4K TV lineup, expanding its television offerings. The M80F series has offerings in 55″, 65″, 75″, and 85″ screen sizes and a starting price of ₹67,990.

Its microsite, available on Amazon, has revealed its design and other specifications. The brand has now confirmed that it will also announce the Z10x alongside the Z10 on April 11. In terms of performance, the company claims that the device has achieved 7.2L points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform.

While the iQOO Z10 is equipped with a round camera module, the Z10x has a rectangular camera island with a ring LED flash inside. The brand is yet to confirm the camera specifications of the Z10x. This device, which is believed to have the I2404 model number, will arrive with 8GB of RAM and Android 15.

The known wearables maker unveiled the Garmin Vivoactive 6 smartwatch sports a 1.2-inch AMOLED display (390 x 390 resolution), which is surrounded by an aluminum bezel and a silicon band. The display offers slightly higher brightness over its predecessors for better visibility. This model is only available in a single size variant, which is 42mm. On a single full charge, the Garmin Vivoactive 6 can last for up to 21 hours of battery with GPS enabled and up to 11 days in battery in regular smartwatch use.

Among the new features, the brand has made upgrades to the software, adding a new smart wake alarm. This feature basically analyses your sleeping pattern and wakes you up gently in the lightest sleep phase with slight vibrations. So you won’t have to worry about oversleeping or getting jerked awake. Being a fitness oriented smartwatch, there’s a bunch of health and fitness related trackers but the biggest addition is the new Running Dynamics and Running Power that uses the PacePro technology.

Other notable features include blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate tracking, nap detection, stress tracking, sleep and women’s health tracking as well. The Vivoactive 6 has just been announced with QZSS and Beidou support along with the usual GPS, Glonass, and Galileo technology. Garmin’s new smart wearable is available for 299.99 US Dollars, which makes it more affordable than the Apple Watch Series 10 but rivals the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7.

Nothing brings back the 3.5mm jack—just not how you expected

Nothing, the London-based tech brand known for its transparent gadgets and cheeky marketing, has once again leaned into its playful side for April Fools’ Day. This time, the company unveiled a product that seems equal parts satire and sly commentary: the Nothing Ear (3.5mm). As the name suggests, it’s a wired pair of earbuds—with a wildly impractical 50-meter cable and a good old 3.5mm headphone jack.

Yes, you read that right. Fifty meters of cable. The product was described as “beautifully inconvenient,” a tagline that perfectly captures the essence of the prank. Styled similarly to the Ear (Open) that launched in 2024, the Ear (3.5mm) features the same transparent aesthetic and chunky ear loops. But rather than embracing modern wireless convenience, this mock product takes things back to basics, leaning hard into retro appeal—and making a joke out of it.

While it’s clearly not a real product (at least not yet), the announcement feels like more than just a simple gag. There’s a subtle jab here—both at the current trend of ditching headphone jacks and at the growing niche of audiophiles who are turning back to wired gear for better sound quality, lower latency, and longevity. In that sense, Nothing’s fake launch manages to poke fun while also tapping into a real conversation within the tech community.

Galaxy Watch 8 battery confirmed to pack larger battery than Watch 7

Samsung’s next-generation smartwatches, likely to be called the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, have taken a step closer to launch as their batteries have appeared in a regulatory certification platform. The listings reveal that there will be a slight battery capacity bump for the standard model this year.

Two battery models—EB-BL330ABY and EB-BL505ABY—were spotted in SafetyKorea’s database, linked to devices with model numbers SM-L330 and SM-L505. These are believed to belong to the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.

Galaxy Watch 8 (SM-L330):

Battery capacity: 435 mAh on the 44mm variant (up from 425 mAh in the Watch 7)
Also certified by TUV Rheinland, which confirms its safety compliance

Galaxy Watch 8 Classic (SM-L505):

The exact battery capacity is yet to be confirmed

What else to expect from the Galaxy Watch 8 series

Samsung’s dual-folding phone may skip global launch

Samsung appears to be preparing its most ambitious foldable yet – a dual-hinge smartphone that folds in two places. Based on the device’s appearance on certification listings, it’s expected to launch only in China and South Korea towards the end of 2025.

Recent filings in the GSMA database (via) have uncovered a mysterious Samsung device (model number SM-F968), which was initially codenamed Q7M. Two variants of the dual-folding phone have appeared:

SM-F9680 (likely Chinese version)
SM-F968N (probable South Korean variant)

The absence of model numbers with Samsung’s typical global identifiers (B, E, U, or U1) suggests this dual-folding phone may not see worldwide release, at least initially. According to industry sources, Samsung this decision is likely to test the waters with initial release in China and South Korea first. Huawei has already launched its dual-hinge smartphone—the Huawei Mate XT (our review)—in the Chinese market, and Samsung is likely trying to see how its offering competes with the existing product from Huawei.

What we know about Samsung’s dual-folding design

While specifications remain unconfirmed, leaks and patents suggest:

The device will fold into multiple configurations
It’ll likely pack a larger screen than current Galaxy Z Fold models

Google‘s next generation foldable smartphone has just been spotted in a new leak. This marks the first appearance of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold showcasing the full design of this premium Pixel foldable and revealing a design that seems quite familiar. So let’s check it out.

The search engine giant’s upcoming foldable phone just surfaced in leaked images that were shared by OnLeaks (Via AndroidHeadlines). Looking at these leaked renders, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold appears to have a design that is nearly identical to last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold. We can see the dual pill shaped camera modules in the large camera island that houses the triple rear cameras and LED flash module.

For selfies and video calls, you can see a punch hole cutout on the main and cover display. So those who were fans of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, you’re getting more of the same but you’re out of luck if you don’t like its squarish design. While it does resemble the last gen model, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could be getting thinner than its predecessor. To recall, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold measured 5.1mm when unfolded. However, this won’t be getting an impressive thinness like the one offered on the Oppo Find N5, which measures just 4.21mm.

Google’s Pixel 10 Pro fold could likely be equipped with the Tensor G5 SoC, which is expected to be manufactured by TSMC. There might be improvements in the battery size or even support for 4K 60fps recording as well. Just last month, the Pixel 10 Pro XL had its renders leaked and doesn’t appear to be getting big changes either.

Acer Just Launched Two Blazing-Fast QD-OLED Monitors for Hardcore Gamers

Acer is pushing deeper into high-end gaming displays with two new QD-OLED monitors: the Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1. These new panels aim to blend the ultra-fast performance gamers need with the kind of color accuracy and contrast that content creators crave — all wrapped in the vivid glow of quantum dot OLED tech.

Big specs, deep blacks

Leading the pack is the Predator X32 X2, a 31.5-inch 4K monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and a razor-sharp 0.03ms response time. It’s built for speed, but it’s also tuned for cinematic visuals: 99% DCI-P3 coverage, 10-bit color, and up to 1000 nits of brightness in HDR mode. Thanks to per-pixel lighting from the OLED panel, contrast reaches a staggering 1,500,000:1 — perfect for those deep blacks and punchy highlights OLED is known for.

You also get AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, which should help keep fast-paced gameplay smooth and tear-free. For connectivity, there’s a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, audio out, and dual 2W speakers. Console players aren’t left out either — the X32 X2 plays nice with both the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Acer’s also added some quality-of-life touches: an anti-glare coating, BlueLightShield Pro for eye comfort, and an adjustable stand that supports tilt, swivel, and height changes. It’s VESA mount compatible too.

Smaller sibling, same OLED punch

If you want something a bit more compact, the Predator X27U X1 shrinks things down to 26.5 inches with a WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440). It keeps the 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time and still delivers the same QD-OLED visual punch — including the high brightness, wide color gamut, and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

The X27U X1 even steps things up in audio, with beefier 5W speakers compared to the X32 X2’s 2W setup. Like its larger sibling, it also supports picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes for multitasking setups.

Pricing and Availability

The Predator X32 X2 starts at $999.99 in North America and €1,199 in Europe, with a China release planned for Q2 at 5,999 yuan. The smaller X27U X1 is already available in the US for $599.99, with global availability rolling out over the next few months.
