Realme India has officially announced the launch date for a new truly wireless earbuds. To recall, the Realme Buds Air 7 made its debut in China alongside the Neo 7 SE and Neo 7x last month. So here’s when it is set to launch in the Indian market.

The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that the Realme Buds Air 7 will be launching in the region on 19th March 2025 at 12 PM IST. These hearables will be arriving along with the Realme P3 and P3 Ultra. For those unaware, this model is the direct successor to the Realme Buds Air 6. The brand has also shared a couple of teaser image posters that revealed its design elements along with some of its key specifications.

Realme’s upcoming earbuds feature a rectangular box charging case, unlike the pebble shaped charging case on the Realme Buds Air 6. We can also see that the top lid has a transparent crystal alloy design design along with an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. The Realme Buds Air 7 is set to offer the segment’s strongest 52 decibels of ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). It also features a 6 mic setup for call noise cancellation as well.

The teasers confirm 12.4mm Dynamic bass drivers that promise to offer premium audio with LHDC support. Realme also offers 360 degree Spatial Audio support on the upcoming Buds Air 7. On a single full charge, the earbuds promise to offer up to 52 hours of audio playback. This model also has fast charging support with just 10 minutes of charging offering 10 hours of playback. Poco is expected to unveil the Poco F7 series later this month for the global market. The lineup is rumoured to include the Poco F7 Pro and the Poco F7 Ultra. Ahead of the launch, the Poco F7 Ultra has been spotted in Thailand’s NBTC certification database, confirming its name and model number.

However, leaks suggest that the F7 Ultra will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro, which was launched in China in November 2024.

The device was also recently seen in the Geekbench AI database, revealing key hardware details. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and running Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0.

Apple’s foldable iPad Pro reportedly has under-display Face ID

Apple is reportedly working on a foldable iPad Pro, and the current prototype includes an under-display Face ID. The leak came from Weibo-based leaker Digital Chat Station.

According to the leaker, the prototype packs an 18.8-inch foldable screen and a “metal superstructure lens” that integrates Face ID components beneath the display, which enables seamless facial recognition without visible sensors.

Apple has been mocked for its switch from a notch only to a pill-shaped cutout on the screen, which is necessary for all the Face ID sensors. With this under-display tech, the foldable iPad (or possibly future iPhone as well) is expected to offer a more immersive visual experience. This development also marks the first time under-display Face ID has been linked to Apple’s foldable devices.

Analyst firm DSCC (Via MacRumors) predicts that Apple will launch an 18.8-inch foldable iPad Pro with an OLED display in 2027. Meanwhile, supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that LG will begin mass-producing display panels for a foldable MacBook with a 20.2-inch or 18.8-inch screen in late 2025. These reports highlight Apple’s ambitions to redefine portable computing with the adoption of larger, foldable devices.

The Wall Street Journal has also reported that Apple is working on a foldable device intended to function as a laptop, which will unfold to a 19-inch screen. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman adds that Apple is developing a “giant” foldable iPad with a focus on eliminating the crease, which is a problem Android smartphone makers are yet to figure out how to solve.

In addition to the foldable iPad, Apple is said to be working on a book-style foldable iPhone, expected to launch late next year. Due to space constraints, this device will reportedly replace Face ID with Touch ID integrated into a side button, similar to recent iPad models.

Motorola Edge 60 series, Moto G56, G86 pricing and color options revealed

The Moto Edge 50 series attracted quite a lot of attention from mid-range buyers with its impressive design, improved imaging capabilities, and clean UI. Now, the successors, along with the Moto G56 and G86, enter the conversation. For context, the Edge 50 Pro was released back in early April last year, followed by the Edge 50 Fusion and standard Edge 50, which launched in early May and August, respectively.

Starting with the Moto G series, the Moto G56 is expected to launch in Black, Blue, and Dill (Light Green) colors. According to the source, the 8GB + 256GB version will be priced at 250 euros (approximately Rs 23,675).

The Moto G86, on the other hand, will come in Golden, Cosmic (Light Purple), Red, and Spellbound (Blue) colors. The 8GB + 256GB configuration of this model will be priced at 330 euros (approximately Rs 31,251). These devices are set to succeed the Moto G55 and Moto G85, with the latter being the only model previously launched in India.

Moto Edge 60 series color options, European pricing

Moving to the premium Edge 60 series, a total of three models were mentioned by the source: the Edge 60, Edge 60 Fusion, and Edge 60 Pro. The Edge 60 Fusion will be available in Blue and Grey, the 8GB + 256GB configuration of which will be priced at 350 euros.

The standard Edge 60 will launch in Sea (Blue) and Green colors, with the same memory configuration, priced at 380 euros (approximately Rs 35,987). The Edge 60 Pro, the most expensive among all models mentioned in this article, will reportedly cost 600 euros (approximately Rs 56,821) and come in Blue, Green, and Grape (Purple) colors.

The Pro model was previously spotted in multiple certification platforms, which revealed a 5,100mAh battery and 68W fast charging support. This marks a significant upgrade in terms of battery capacity over the Edge 50 Pro, which packs a 4,500 mAh cell. The Moto Edge 50 series attracted significant attention due to its curved display and back design. Now it seems that the successor, the Edge 60 series, will offer a stylus. The news comes from reliable tipster Evan Blass. Shared on the X platform, the rendering of the phone reveals a dedicated slot for the stylus and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Unlike the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered Motorola Edge+ (2022), this Edge 60 Stylus will also include a slot for the stylus, and users won’t have to buy it separately. The stylus slot is conveniently located at the bottom of the device. The company previously released the budget-friendly Moto G Stylus 4G in 2023 and a 5G version of it last year, both of which include a slot for the stylus.

The phone is estimated to cost $500, which means Motorola is aiming to bring premium stylus functionality to a broader audience.

According to the source, the Edge 60 Stylus will pack 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The device have blue and green color options. The render reveals another notable difference from the Edge 50 series: the display is no longer curved. Unfortunately, the curved display was one of the key selling points of the Moto Edge 50.

The headphone jack will also help the device stand out from its competition. While wireless neckbands and TWS earphones occupy a significantly larger market share today, having the option to choose a much cheaper wired earphone never hurts.

Unlike the G Stylus series, which is primarily targeted at the U.S. market, the Edge 60 Stylus is expected to have a global presence, with pricing adjusted to suit regional markets. Vivo V50 Pro could be incoming, seemingly spotted with Dimensity 9300+ on Geekbench

Last year, Vivo unveiled the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro together for different markets. While last month saw the arrival of the Vivo V50 in different regions, the company did not announce the V50 Pro, suggesting that it may debut sometime later. Meanwhile, the brand is said to be working on other V50 series models, such as the V50 Lite, V50 Lite (4G), and V50. Now, a new Vivo phone whose identity is not known has emerged on Geekbench. It is being speculated that it could be the V50 Pro.

A Vivo phone with the V2504 model number has surfaced on Geekbench. The text mentioned in the motherboard field suggests that it is powered by MediaTek’s MT6989. This model number is linked to Dimensity 9300 or D9300+ chipsets. However, the prime core speed of 3.40GHz is sufficient to confirm that it is equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.

The Geekbench listing further reveals that the V2504 features 8 GB of RAM and Android 15. In Geekbench 6’s single-core test, the device secured a score of 1178 points, and it recorded a score of 4089 in the multi-core test.

The Vivo V40 Pro and V30 Pro phones that have been launched in the past have been tweaked versions of the Vivo S18 Pro and S19 Pro that are exclusively sold in China. Therefore, the V50 Pro could be a slightly modified edition of the Dimensity 9300 Plus-powered S20 Pro, which debuted in December 2024.

To recall, the Vivo S20 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED 1.5K 120Hz screen with micro-curved edges. Lenovo’s Grenade-Shaped Water Cup Debuts as a Limited-Edition Collectible

Lenovo has introduced the Legion Tactical Water Cup, a military-inspired, grenade-shaped bottle created in collaboration with the film “Operation Dragon”.

The design mimics a grenade with a matte black finish accented with orange and purple details. It features a zinc alloy and plastic exterior, while the inner layer is made of 316L stainless steel for durability. The lid opens using a pull-ring mechanism, resembling a grenade pin, and includes Operation Dragon-themed engravings.

With a 300mL capacity, the cup offers two drinking modes: an outer spout for quick access and an inner straw for controlled sipping. Lenovo claims the leak-proof sealing technology prevents spills, even when shaken or inverted. The bottle also maintains liquids above 42°C for up to six hours.

Weighing 500g and measuring 97×72×179mm, the cup meets China’s stainless steel and food safety standards. The Legion Tactical Water Cup targets gamers and Operation Dragon fans, marketed as a limited-edition collectible. It is currently available in China through Lenovo’s official platforms for 299 yuan (~$41). Since the Water Cup is a limited edition item, it is highly unlikely that Lenovo will be launching it outside of China.

AOC launched the AG276QSD gaming monitor in December last year in the Chinese market. It officially went on sale today on JD.com for 4,499 yuan ($620). Let’s check out its key specs.

The AG276QSD gaming monitor features a 26.5-inch 2K (2560 x 1440) display with a 360Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time, ensuring sharp visuals, ultra-smooth gameplay, and exceptional responsiveness for competitive gaming.

This monitor equips QD-OLED technology, which combines the benefits of quantum dots and OLED for superior color accuracy and deep contrast. It boasts an impressive 1,500,000:1 static contrast ratio, enhancing details in both bright and dark areas. It also supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 with a peak brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring stunning HDR performance with vivid highlights and deeper blacks.

It sports an ultra-wide color gamut, covering 99% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB color spaces, along with native 10-bit color depth for precise and lifelike color reproduction. Each unit undergoes factory calibration, guaranteeing a DeltaE<2 accuracy for professional-grade color consistency. Additionally, it is TÜV Rheinland certified for flicker-free technology and hardware-based low blue light emission, reducing eye strain during extended gaming sessions.

The monitor features Adaptive-Sync technology for tear-free gaming, ensuring smooth visuals without stuttering or screen tearing. It comes equipped with multiple connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, and an audio output for external speakers or headphones.

It includes gamer-centric features such as customizable Light FX RGB lighting, built-in 5W stereo speakers, a foldable headphone hook, and a cable management clip for a clean setup. It sports an ergonomic stand that supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot, along with VESA 100x100mm mounting compatibility for added flexibility.

HMD Global Announces Barbie Flip Phone for India, Pricing Yet to Be Revealed

HMD Global has announced the India launch of its Barbie Flip Phone, following a series of social media teasers. The device, already available in Europe and the UK, will be listed on HMD.com soon.

HMD Barbie Flip Phone Features

The Barbie Flip Phone has a clamshell design with a 2.8-inch QVGA internal display and a 1.77-inch external cover screen. It runs on the Unisoc T107 chipset with 64MB RAM and 128MB internal storage, expandable via microSD (up to 32GB). The device operates on the S30+ OS.

A 1,450mAh battery supports up to 9 hours of talk time. The phone includes a rear VGA camera with an LED flash. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and an MP3 player.

Barbie-Themed Customizations

The phone comes with a Barbie-inspired interface and pre-installed apps such as Malibu Snake (a modern take on the Nokia classic), Barbie Meditation, and Digital Balance Tips. A “Bestie Button” allows users to assign a contact for quick calling.

Pricing and Availability

The phone is priced at £99 in the UK and €129 in Europe. HMD has not yet announced the pricing for India, but it will be available on the company’s official website.

In other news, HMD Global introduced new devices at MWC 2025, including the HMD Fusion X1, Barça-themed phones, and refreshed feature phones. The Fusion X1, designed with Xplora, offers real-time tracking, remote management, SOS alerts, and School Mode, along with a 108MP camera, 5,000mAh battery, and modular design. ASUS Zenbook A14 and Vivobook 16 Snapdragon-powered laptops now available to buy in India

ASUS has introduced the Zenbook A14 and Vivobook 16 AI-powered laptops in India, following their global debut last month. These Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered laptops were available for pre-order in India and are now directly available to purchase through Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance, ASUS e-shop, and Amazon.in.

Zenbook A14

The Zenbook A14 features a 14-inch full-HD OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 600-nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and DisplayHDR 600 True Black certification. Weighing only 980g, it boasts a Ceraluminum chassis for a premium and durable build.

ASUS offers two variants:

Snapdragon X Elite (45W) – Designed for intensive workloads
Snapdragon X (28W) – Focused on power efficiency

Both models come with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, and Windows 11 Home. The Snapdragon X Elite variant supports Wi-Fi 7, while the base model includes Wi-Fi 6E. Connectivity options include USB4 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and Bluetooth 5.3/5.4.

The 70Wh battery delivers up to 32 hours of usage with 90W Type-C fast charging for the Elite version and 65W charging for the standard model. It also features an AI-enhanced FHD IR camera, Dolby Atmos audio, and an ErgoSense touchpad.

The Vivobook 16 has a 16-inch FHD+ IPS display (16:10 aspect ratio, 300-nit brightness, 45% NTSC color gamut), a 17.9mm profile, and weighs 1.88kg.

Equipped with a Snapdragon X processor, it delivers 45 TOPS of NPU performance to enable features such as Live Captions, Cocreator (AI-assisted sketching), and Generative Fill in Paint. It includes 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and Windows 11 Home.
