<p>Concept renders of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s26-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra</a> have just surfaced online, giving fans an early of what the next Ultra flagship might look like. But this unofficial render might offer us a hint at the brand&#8217;s next top smartphone model. So here&#8217;s what you need to know.</p>

<h2>Is the Galaxy S26 Ultra getting a design refresh?</h2>

<p>The South Korean tech giant&#8217;s 2026 flagship phone was spotted in a recent concept art, which revealed some minor changes to the rear design. While the overall layout is basically the same, the three vertically stacked cameras, which include the main, ultra wide, and periscope telephoto, are housed in a slightly raised oval shaped module. This surprisingly looks similar to the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S25 Edge. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="623" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-Ultra-623x1024.jpeg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra" class="wp-image-698623" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-Ultra-623x1024.jpeg 623w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-Ultra-183x300.jpeg 183w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-Ultra-696x1143.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-Ultra-256x420.jpeg 256w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-Ultra.jpeg 730w" sizes="(max-width: 623px) 100vw, 623px" /><figcaption>Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Know tipster <em><a href="https://x.com/UniverseIce/status/1948946896116220033" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ice Universe </a></em>shared a tweet with this concept render, stating that it&#8217;s unclear if this is the actual design for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, but adds that there is a &#8220;pretty high chance&#8221; of the next gen flagship having a similar look overall. Samsung might be using this raised camera module to house the larger main camera and new telephoto shooter, while also slimming down the S26 Ultra. So the bigger bump should offer more space for the camera components. </p>

<p>Based on what we know so far, Samsung could equip the next Ultra flagship with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/25/galaxy-s26-ultra-hp2-camera-wider-aperture/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">new HP2+ main camera</a> with a larger sensor size and wider aperture. Its battery pack could remain at 5,000mAh, but the fast charging rate is expected to get a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/25/galaxy-s26-ultra-to-finally-surpass-5000mah-and-pair-it-with-65w-charging/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">bump to 65W</a>. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is rumored to power the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/24/samsung-made-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-2-back-on-the-table-for-galaxy-s26-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">S26 Ultra</a>, meanwhile, the base Galaxy S26 could be equipped with Samsung&#8217;s high end <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/25/exynos-2600s-early-geekbench-scores-hint-at-galaxy-s26s-potential/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Exynos 2600 SoC</a>.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus </a>has been rumored to be working on a new compact flagship smartphone for a while now. This model could be called the OnePlus 13T or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-13-mini/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus 13 Mini</a>. While there is no official teaser for this device, a bunch of concept renders have offered us a look at the possible design of the upcoming small premium phone. So let&#8217;s check it out.</p>

<h2>OnePlus 13 Mini/13T Concept Renders</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-OnePlus-5-like-design.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 13T" class="wp-image-678002" width="358" height="702" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-OnePlus-5-like-design.jpg 517w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-OnePlus-5-like-design-153x300.jpg 153w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-OnePlus-5-like-design-214x420.jpg 214w" sizes="(max-width: 358px) 100vw, 358px" /><figcaption>Resembles the OnePlus 5</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Chinese brand&#8217;s upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/13/oneplus-13t-leak-hints-at-a-compact-phone-with-visually-appealing-design-could-be-cheapest-snapdragon-8-elite-phone/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus 13T was previously seen in mock renders</a>, and now, new concept renders from Xiaohongshu on Weibo have revealed different iterations as well. These concept renders showcase the dual rear cameras in different orientations. Even the LED flash module has multiple variations. But what really caught our eye was how much these designs resemble certain older models. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-Nord.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 13T" class="wp-image-678000" width="376" height="737" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-Nord.jpg 517w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-Nord-153x300.jpg 153w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-Nord-214x420.jpg 214w" sizes="(max-width: 376px) 100vw, 376px" /><figcaption>Resembles the Nord CE 4</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>One of these includes a horizontally aligned camera setup at the back, which makes it look like the old OnePlus 5 flagship model. In another concept, the OnePlus 13T looks more like the Nord CE 4 with its vertically stacked sensors and LED flash module. One of these even included a variation that featured the Hasselblad collaboration, but it&#8217;s unclear whether this model also gets the camera brand&#8217;s tuning. Although, every render has a couple of things in common like two cameras at the back and a flat rear panel with rounded corners.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-13T-Hasselblad.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 13T" class="wp-image-678001" width="378" height="741" /><figcaption>Possible Hasselblad Collaboration</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Based on what we know so far, the OnePlus 13T is expected to be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/12/oneplus-13-mini-13t-leak-reveals-two-reasons-to-be-excited-for-the-new-compact-flagship/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite</a> powered smartphone. The model could sport a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the rear, the device has a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/02/06/oneplus-13-mini-to-feature-dual-50mp-cameras-redesigned-camera-module/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">50MP main camera and 50MP telephoto shooter</a> with 2x optical zoom. A massive <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/12/oneplus-13-mini-13t-leak-reveals-two-reasons-to-be-excited-for-the-new-compact-flagship/">6,000mAh battery</a> could power this device, which supports wired and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/01/19/oneplus-13-mini-key-specifications-tipped-again-reveals-snapdragon-8-elite-wireless-charging-and-more/">wireless charging</a>. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="771" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-1024x771.webp?x44794" alt="Nothing Fold" class="wp-image-664206" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-1024x771.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-300x226.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-768x578.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-696x524.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-1068x804.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-558x420.webp 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept-80x60.webp 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Concept.webp 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Nothing Fold (1) Concept</figcaption></figure></div>

<h2>Nothing Foldable Envisioned with New Glyph Lighting &amp; Hinge Display</h2>

<p><a href="https://www.yankodesign.com/2024/12/08/nothing-fold-1-could-launch-in-2025-boosting-the-folding-phone-market-before-a-folding-iphone/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sarang Sheth</a>, an industrial designer, created the latest concept renders. Some of his other work usually revolves around tech products such as Apple products like MacBooks with some changes in designs. But now, Sheth has created a foldable phone from Nothing, showcasing the unique spin the London based brand could bring to the foldable phone segment.</p>

<p>Right off the bat, we can see that the Nothing foldable phone is retaining its Glyph LED lighting on the back. However, this design now extends to the hinge as well. While companies put a lot of effort into improving the hinge mechanisms, these don&#8217;t add to the appeal of the design of a foldable phone. &#8220;Nothing Fold (1)&#8221; in this concept can be seen with a Glyph Light bar. In another render, there is even a slim display added to this hinge. The former seems more realistic and practical, while the latter is quite similar to the edge display from old Samsung flagships.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-1024x768.webp?x44794" alt="Nothing Fold" class="wp-image-664207" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-1024x768.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-300x225.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-768x576.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-696x522.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-1068x801.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-560x420.webp 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-80x60.webp 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display-265x198.webp 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Nothing-Fold-1-Hinge-Display.webp 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Nothing Fold (1) Concept with Hinge Display</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Sarang took things a step further and even mentioned the cutting edge specifications of the Nothing Phone (1). This foldable phone includes the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which is paired with 16GB of RAM. The front has 32MP selfie shooter, while a large 5,500mAh battery pack powers this device. The fast charging rate is unclear, but the Fold (1) was conceptualized with support for 15W Qi2 wireless charging. The designer created this foldable phone with a £799 price tag, which is roughly around $1,018. This makes it quite affordable as well as the least realistic part of this concept.</p>

<h2>Apple iPhone SE 4 resembles the iPhone 14</h2>

<p>The concept renders were shared by a collaboration of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEtyhiufXqI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">AppleTrack </a>and <a href="https://twitter.com/concept_central/status/1724503922558279972" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@concept_central</a>. In a recent report, we covered a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/10/iphone-se-4-rumors-new-design-better-camera-face-id-usb-c/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rumor </a>regarding the iPhone SE 4 featuring a design similar to the iPhone 14. The device would include a large notch for Face ID tech and feature a USB Type-C port. Now, the latest iPhone SE 4 concept render showcases these design elements as well.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-1024x576.jpeg?x44794" alt="Apple iPhone SE 4" class="wp-image-582742" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-1536x864.jpeg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-2048x1152.jpeg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-1068x601.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-1920x1080.jpeg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-concept-render-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Looking at the images, the front of the iPhone SE 4 appears identical to the iPhone 14 with flat edges and rounded corners. This model will reportedly sport a 6.1-inch OLED display, although it is unclear if it supports the 120Hz ProMotion technology. While the Cupertino based giant is moving away from the large notch from its recent iPhones, the SE models are expected to retain this design for now since these are a more affordable offering from the brand.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="508" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-1024x508.jpeg?x44794" alt="Apple iPhone SE 4" class="wp-image-582743" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-1024x508.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-300x149.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-768x381.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-1536x762.jpeg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-2048x1016.jpeg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-696x345.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-1068x530.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-1920x953.jpeg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-846x420.jpeg 846w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Apple-iPhone-SE-4-USB-C-1-324x160.jpeg 324w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Meanwhile, the rear appears to have a single camera sensor. The iPhone SE 4 could feature a 48-megapixel primary camera on the back. Another notable design element is the USB Type-C port on the bottom, bringing it in line with the recent iPhone 15 lineup. The iPhone SE 4 is rumored to launch by late 2024 or early 2025. So stick around for more updates.</p>

Now, a new 3D concept render based on this design has surfaced, with the device being dubbed as the Galaxy Z Fold Note.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-417337 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/samsung-z-fold-770x588.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung" width="770" height="588" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/samsung-z-fold-770x588.jpg 770w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/samsung-z-fold-770x588-300x229.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/samsung-z-fold-770x588-768x586.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/samsung-z-fold-770x588-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/samsung-z-fold-770x588-696x531.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/samsung-z-fold-770x588-550x420.jpg 550w" sizes="(max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px" /></p>
<p>According to <a href="https://nl.letsgodigital.org/opvouwbare-telefoons/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-note/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>LetsGoDigital</em></a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/TechnizoConcept" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Technizo Concept</a> made a series of 3D concept renders based on the patent images of the foldable smartphone patent. While the original patent mainly described the display and left out the finer details, the 3D concept features a complete camera module on the rear. We had initially called this device the Galaxy Flex Note based on the trademark, but the latest renders have been referred to as the Galaxy Z Fold Note.</p>
<p>Looking at the design of this handset, it becomes clear why &#8220;Note&#8221; is included in its name as it features support for an S Pen that has a unique housing. With the display being a foldable wrap around display that covers the back as well, the S Pen is housed in a small magnetic housing on the back of the display. So when the display is in its unfolded state, one can take out the S Pen to use it in its tablet form.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-417336 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/galaxy-z-fold-770x481.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung" width="770" height="481" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/galaxy-z-fold-770x481.jpg 770w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/galaxy-z-fold-770x481-300x187.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/galaxy-z-fold-770x481-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/galaxy-z-fold-770x481-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/galaxy-z-fold-770x481-672x420.jpg 672w" sizes="(max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px" /></p>
<p>Meaning, the stylus is sandwiched in the display in its compact form. The wrap around display accounts for half of the total surface area on the back while the rear camera module houses multiple image sensors. As of right now, it is unclear if Samsung is actually working on such a product or is just covering all bases.</p>

<p>According to a <em><a href="https://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2021/08/apple-invents-a-macbook-that-integrates-an-apple-pencil-that-provides-mouse-and-f-key-functionality.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PatentlyApple</a> </em>report, the US Patent and Trademark Office published a new patent from the Cupertino based giant that depicts a MacBook Pro with a Pencil dock rather than a Touch Bar. This dock is housed exactly where a Touch Bar would be placed, which is right above the keyboard. The dock is also built into the laptop so it can be closed while a Pencil is placed there. Apparently, the Pencil dock could also have the company replace the Top F key row with the functional symbols being illuminated on the Pencil itself.</p>
<p>Furthermore, designer <a href="https://www.yankodesign.com/2021/08/14/apple-just-filed-a-patent-for-a-new-macbook-design-with-its-own-integrated-apple-pencil/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Sarang Sheth</em></a> (Via <em><a href="https://9to5mac.com/2021/08/14/concept-replaces-macbook-pros-touch-bar-with-apple-pencil-dock/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">9To5Mac</a></em>) made 3D concept render models of this patent to showcase the design in more detail. Looking at these renders, one can observe that the new MacBook Pro would features touch gestures with the inclusion of the Pencil but it will also feature a much smaller version of the Touch Bar for Siri and quick access to certain applications as well.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, this is still just a patent as of right now and we have no way of knowing if Apple is actually planning on having a Pencil dock on its next gen MacBook Pro models. Although, it does confirm that the iPhone maker has considered the idea of removing the Touch Bar in favor of another system. So stay tuned for more updates.</p>

<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Trailer - 200MP Camera" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/tk2xCHxdvnA?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p><a href="https://nl.letsgodigital.org/smartphones/xiaomi-redmi-note-11-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>LetsGoDigital</em> </a>collaborated with graphic designer Technizo Concept, who also posted a new video on his official YouTube channel. In this video, the Chinese tech giant&#8217;s Note 11 Pro 5G concept render was shared. From the front, the device is quite similar to its predecessor, with a center-aligned punch-hole selfie shooter and a display surrounded by narrow bezels on all sides. However, the difference between the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-10-pro-china/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Note 10 Pro</a> and the Note 11 Pro is evident on the back panel.</p>
<p>On the rear, the &#8216;Redmi&#8217; branding along with &#8216;5G&#8217; can be seen vertically placed on the left region of the panel while the camera module has been overhauled as well. It sports a triple camera setup on the top left corner, with two shooters being large image sensors and the third one being smaller in comparison. In other words, the first two cameras might have an identical sensor while the third is a black and white/macro sensor. While the exact camera specifications are unknown as of right now, it is possible that the device may feature a 200 megapixel sensor made by Samsung on the rear.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-400301 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/redmi-note-11-pro-1024x676.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi" width="1024" height="676" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/redmi-note-11-pro-1024x676.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/redmi-note-11-pro-1024x676-300x198.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/redmi-note-11-pro-1024x676-768x507.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/redmi-note-11-pro-1024x676-696x459.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/redmi-note-11-pro-1024x676-636x420.jpg 636w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>Keep in mind, this is just a concept render and is not an official first look at the device at the moment. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is expected to launch sometime in the first quarter of next year, likely in March 2022, so there is still quite a while to its announcement. So stay tuned for more updates regarding this upcoming smartphone.</p>

<p>Do note that these are just concept renders by Jonas Daehnert and the company isn&#8217;t working on a Surface Solo <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/smartphone">smartphone</a>. There are no reports of Microsoft developing a typical <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android">Android</a>-powered mobile phone, so even if something like this is to happen, it isn&#8217;t happening anytime soon.</p>
<p>While the Microsoft Surface Duo smartphone with dual-display and a customized Android operating system has been launched, the company has delayed the launch of its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/surface-neo">Surface Neo</a> with a similar dual-display concept.</p>

The new device will be the Chinese tech giant&#8217;s latest flagship, with the design showcasing a  camera setup alongside a curved edge display.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-322488 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/41b1-itmiwrz2210434.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="600" height="371" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/41b1-itmiwrz2210434.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/41b1-itmiwrz2210434-300x186.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/41b1-itmiwrz2210434-356x220.jpg 356w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Looking at the concept render, the Huawei Mate 40 features a penta camera setup on the rear in a circular module. This ring camera system is similar to the one sported on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-mate-30/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mate 30 series</a> and is also in line with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/03/24/huawei-mate-40-may-feature-a-multifunctional-touch-display-ring-on-the-back/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">various design leaks that we had previously covered</a>. Moving to the front, a full screen body can be observed with no punch hole or popup selfie camera being visible. This may imply that the Mate 40 will be the first Huawei smartphone to feature an under display camera.</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/13/meizu-17-pro-120hz-refresh-rate-update-is-live-with-dc-dimming-hdr-playback-and-more/">Meizu 17 Pro 120Hz refresh rate update is live with DC dimming, HDR playback, and more</a></strong></h6>
<p>Another interesting aspect regarding the leaked concept render is the display. The Mate 40 in the images sports a large curved edge display on the front, which features an indiscernible notch and chin. The display rounds the sides of the device and is curved around the edges. A USB Type C port is also housed in the bottom, flanked by a lone speaker grill, and a SIM card slot.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-322487 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/ae29-itmiwrz2210356.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="600" height="391" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/ae29-itmiwrz2210356.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/ae29-itmiwrz2210356-300x196.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Unfortunately, this concept render is still just a leak, and can very likely be false in more ways than one. Huawei has yet to provide any official details regarding its upcoming premium flagship, so take this report with a grain of salt. But stay tuned, as more information is expected to arrive in the coming few weeks.</p>

<p>According to Concept Creator, the video and the design of the Nokia 9.3 is heavily inspired by the Nokia Lumia series. <p>Interestingly, the video also depicted a new laptop mode, where the user could fold the device upright to use the lower half as a keyboard and work on the upper half, like a mini laptop. However, the practicality behind this is still questionable. Furthermore, this isn&#8217;t design isn&#8217;t officially from Samsung, so we may never see a few or most of the features, but the OEM could surprise us all with the triple display system and others.</p>

Earlier today (23rd March 2020), a new concept design for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-mate-40-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mate 40 Pro</a> was found online which was made by a fan. In other words, it isn&#8217;t official but is still interesting and offers a lot of insight as well.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-312083" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010.png?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="619" height="530" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010.png 1260w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010-300x257.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010-768x658.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010-1024x878.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010-696x597.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010-1068x915.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/mate-4010-490x420.png 490w" sizes="(max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px" /></p>
<p>Despite being a fan made render, it is still based on official Huawei patents and schemes that have previously been found on the internet. So keep in mind, while there is a possibility of the design being actually used, it is still unconfirmed. Thus, take the render with a grain of salt. Looking at the render, it follows the notch less design, meaning the front is almost completely covered by a curved display with negligible bezels at the top and bottom.</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/03/23/huawei-p40-pro-premium-edition-will-be-actually-called-p40-pro-plus-5g/">Huawei P40 Pro PE could be officially called P40 Pro Plus 5G, Likely to Ship Later than Standard models</a></strong></h6>
<p>The designs follow the same philosophy of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-mate-30-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mate 30 Pro</a>, which also used the curved display to eliminate the need for physical volume rockers but still keeping the power button. According to the render, a true full screen body has been adopted while the front camera and 3D face recognition module is placed above the screen in a slightly raised and angular portion.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-268731 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/9sjoum0c_huawei-logo-afp_625x300_07_March_19.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="650" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/9sjoum0c_huawei-logo-afp_625x300_07_March_19.jpg 650w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/9sjoum0c_huawei-logo-afp_625x300_07_March_19-300x185.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/9sjoum0c_huawei-logo-afp_625x300_07_March_19-356x220.jpg 356w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></p>
<p>Arriving at the back, the quad camera module can be found which includes the Leica branding for the lenses. Unlike traditional vertically stacked or circular setup, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a different triangular shaped setup, which also resembles an inverted pyramid scheme. The concept render could be an exaggeration of all the patents that have surfaced online but does make the launch of the flagship device, more interesting. So stay tuned for more updates.</p>

It was one of the first of its kind from the brand and arrived with a very unique and interesting design. However, the smartphone was never intended to be mass produced, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/10/xiaomi-mi-mix-alpha-is-ready-for-mass-production/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">even though an executive claimed it was possible</a> and was only going to be sold in limited quantities. But a new concept render reveals, that may be a more practical version might be in the works.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_307358" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-307358" style="width: 2048px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-307358 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi" width="2048" height="1607" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6-300x235.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6-768x603.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6-1024x804.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6-696x546.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6-1068x838.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6-535x420.jpg 535w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-6-1920x1507.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-307358" class="wp-caption-text">Image Via 91Mobiles</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha arrived with a futuristic aesthetics and a flexible display that almost completely wrapped around the entire smartphone&#8217;s body. This allowed it to achieve one of the highest screen to body ratio and also forego physical buttons, with the volume rockers being added on the touch capacitive sides. Notably, we have previously <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/19/xiaomi-patents-a-smartphone-resembling-the-mi-mix-alpha-could-be-a-commercial-version/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">covered the patented design of this concept render</a>.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_307360" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-307360" style="width: 2048px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-307360 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi" width="2048" height="1607" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5-300x235.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5-768x603.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5-1024x804.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5-696x546.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5-1068x838.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5-535x420.jpg 535w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-5-1920x1507.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-307360" class="wp-caption-text">The rear panel is what makes the Xiaomi Mi MIX concept render a lot more practical than the original Mi MIX Alpha</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>However, its highlighting feature, which was the display, is also what makes it technically impractical, as laying it on the back could still make it prone to scratches on the display. Thus, the new concept renders reveal a more practical solution, with the screen still wrapping around the edges but not as prominently as the Mi MIX Alpha.</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/27/vivo-v19-to-launch-date-confirmed-as-march-10-for-indonesia-promo-video-reveals-full-design/">Vivo V19 to launch date confirmed as March 10 for Indonesia; Promo video reveals full design</a></strong></h6>
<p>Reports have touted it to be both the commercial version of the same or another altogether, namely the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi-mi-mix-4/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mi MIX 4</a>. Looking at the renders, it can be observed that the front is mostly covered by the display with a minimal notch at the top and bezels at the bottom. On the rear, the device features a dual camera setup in the top middle and has a lot more rear coverage than the concept smartphone.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-307362 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi" width="2048" height="1153" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3-1024x577.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3-746x420.jpg 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Mi-MIX-Render-3-1920x1081.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></p>
<p>Under the hood, the leaked specifications claim that the Mi MIX device in question will sport <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm-snapdragon-865/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 865 SoC</a>. Furthermore, it will feature up to 12GB of RAM and up to a whopping 1TB of UFS 3.0 or 3.1 storage. The handset will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery which will support 45W fast charging alongside 30W wireless charging as well. For photography, a 108 megapixel image sensor is rumored while the front will feature a pop up camera of unknown make.</p>

While we have already seen a concept render of the smartphone, a new concept render has emerged online.</p>
<p>The new concept renders shows the Mi 9 smartphone with a virtually bezel-less display. All the four sides have very thin bezels, including the bottom chin which usually has a slightly thicker chin because of the display components.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-232748 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-1.jpeg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 9" width="640" height="360" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-1.jpeg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-1-300x169.jpeg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></p>
<p>The render shows that the device features a waterdrop notch on top of the display, offering higher screen-to-body ratio. According to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/01/04/xiaomi-mi-9-specs-pricing-leak-reveals-snapdragon-48mp-triple-camera-and-32w-fast-charging/">previous leaks</a>, the phone will feature a 6.4-inch full-screen display with 2K screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.</p>
<p>As <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/12/29/triple-rear-cameras-and-snapdragon-855-listed-as-features-of-the-mi-9-and-mi-mix-4/">reported earlier</a>, on the back side, there&#8217;s a triple-camera setup along with an LED flash. The camera module is placed in the top-left corner and sensors are aligned vertically. As per the reports, the phone consists of a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX586 sensor, 18-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel tertiary sensor.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-232749 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-2.jpeg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 9 Render" width="640" height="360" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-2.jpeg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-2-300x169.jpeg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></p>
<p>There&#8217;s no fingerprint sensor on the back panel, which is in line with the previous leak that indicated that the Mi 9 flagship smartphone will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The company could use its newly improved fingerprint sensor technology that it recently announced. It will also support 3D facial recognition to unlock the device.</p>
<p>Under the hood, the phone will be powered by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm/">Qualcomm</a>’s latest Snapdragon 855 octa-core 7nm chipset but it’s confirmed that the phone won’t be featuring X50 LTE modem that offers 5G connectivity. Instead, the SD855 will come equipped with the X24 LTE modem.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-232750 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-3.jpeg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 9 Render" width="640" height="360" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-3.jpeg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/mi-9-render-3-300x169.jpeg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></p>
<p>The phone is expected to have up to 10GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. While the phone’s 3,500mAh battery is said to support 32W fast charging technology, reports indicate that the Mi 9 won’t carry support for wireless charging. The phone is expected to come with IP68 certification indicating resistance from water and dust particles.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 9 is speculated to carry a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (approximately $436) for the base model that includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. Although the company has not yet announced the launch date, reports indicate that the Mi 9 will be launched in March or it could be showcased at <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mwc-2019/">MWC 2019</a>.</p>

<p>Now, concept renders and a 360-degree concept video of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has surfaced online, which gives us a look at what the smartphone&#8217;s design could be like.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-195189 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Render" width="1280" height="720" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render.jpg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-1024x576.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></a></p>
<p>The images suggest that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung/">Samsung</a> Galaxy Note 9 won&#8217;t have a major difference in terms of design compared to its S-series siblings. The front side of the phone will be dominated by the Infinity Display, with thin bezels on the top and bottom.</p>
<p>The volume rocker, as well as the power button, has been placed on the left side, similar to its predecessor. Towards the right, there’s the dedicated Bixby button. The company has also decided to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, which sits beside the USB Type-C port on the bottom.</p>
<p>On the back, one of the major change is the placement of the fingerprint scanner. According to these renders, the fingerprint sensor has now been moved below the camera module, which should make it more convenient to use.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="Samsung Galaxy Note 9: 360 renders EXCLUSIVE" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/P3TSPkEU3Gk?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>The presence of fingerprint sensor on the back panel means that the phone won&#8217;t have an under-display fingerprint sensor, as reported earlier. The phone is said to be thicker at 8.8mm compared to the 8.6mm waistline of its predecessor.</p>
<p>According to the reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come with a 6.3-inch display having QHD+ screen resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be powered by the latest and Samsung <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/01/04/samsung-exynos-9810-official-announced-carries-support-ai-enhanced-multimedia-content/">Exynos 9810</a> or upgraded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm/">Qualcomm</a> Snapdragon 845 SoC, depending on the region.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-195192 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-2.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Render" width="1280" height="720" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-2.jpg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-Render-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></a></p>
<p>Earlier reports have indicated that the phone will pack 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage option. The flagship is also expected to come with an upgraded camera system, though we believe that the phone will continue to offer the same dual-aperture primary camera, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S9+.</p>

<p>In the software department, the device is expected to come with a redesigned interface from Samsung, which is dubbed as Crown UX and will be based on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-oroe/">Android Oreo</a> operating system out of the box. Further, the phone is also expected to come powered by a larger battery rated at 3,850mAh.</p>
