As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G features a Vegan Leather back panel that has successfully passed multiple rigorous tests, including those for temperature extremes, exposure to cosmetics, and resistance to solar radiation and salt spray. The device will be available in two colors: Raisin Black and Apricot Crush.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy F55 5G will offer a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it will feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.

The device will also feature a triple camera system on the back, including a 50MP main, 8MP, and 2MP sensors, along with a 50MP front camera for high-quality selfies. It will have features like enhanced night photography and super HDR video. Additionally, the smartphone is said to be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging.

Samsung has incorporated the Knox Vault and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. And lastly, the report mentions that the Galaxy F55 5G will receive four years of OS updates and five years of security updates. Samsung has just confirmed the launch of the Galaxy F55 in India. It was initially rumored to be a rebranded Galaxy M55, but turns out, it’s actually the Indian version of the China-exclusive Galaxy C55.

The smartphone inherits the design of the C55, including the vegan leather back cover with a stitched design. The teaser reveals an Orange color option, but we are expecting a Black variant too, just like the C55.

As far as the specs go, there will be no changes compared to the Galaxy M55 or C55. The F55 will run on a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The display will be a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ panel with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. All this will be backed by a sizable 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

On the camera front, rumors suggest that the F55 will feature a triple-camera system on the back. The main will be an 50MP sensor which will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP additional sensor, likely for macro or depth sensing. For selfies, there will be 50MP front-facing camera on the punch-hole cutout.

Samsung India hasn’t disclosed pricing or availability details for the Galaxy F55 yet. However, a leak earlier this week revealed the price of all the variants of Galaxy F55 in India.

Reportedly, the base 8/128GB variant will retail at Rs 26,999. The mid-tier 8/256GB model will go for Rs 29,999 while the top-of-the-line variant with 12/256GB variant is expected to retail at Rs 32,999.

Samsung is expected to launch a new smartphone, the Galaxy F55 5G in the Indian market soon. Leaks suggest it will be a rebranded version of the recently launched Galaxy M55 5G, with very similar specifications.

A new leak by tipster @yabhishekhd on X (formerly Twitter) has now revealed the price of the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G in India. It reveals that the phone will come in three memory configurations. 

The base will be the 8/128GB variant which will retail at Rs 26,999. The mid-tier 8/256GB model will go for Rs 29,999 while the top-of-the-line variant with 12/256GB variant is expected to retail at Rs 32,999. The prices closely match that of the Galaxy M55 5G in the Indian market.

Considering the rebranded nature of the phone, we can expect the F55 5G to share most specifications with the M55 5G. The expected specification includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits peak brightness, and Vision Booster technology.

The rear camera system is likely to consist of a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP (likely macro) sensor.

While no finer details like specs and features were revealed in the support page, the website listing hints that the Galaxy F55 5G’s launch is near. Back in January 2024, this device was spotted on the BIS certification and received WiFi certification as well.

For those unaware, the new device is the successor to the Galaxy F54 model, which launched in the middle of 2023. So, the Galaxy F55 could also see a June 2024 launch timeframe. Last year’s F54 was equipped with the Exynos 1380 SoC, but the F55 will likely offer newer hardware like the Exynos 1480 processor. To recall, the Galaxy F54 sports a tall 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, a massive 6,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 25W wired fast charging. This device offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The rear packs a 108-megapixel triple camera setup, while the front houses a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The camera system and display likely won’t see any major changes, but some internal specs could see upgrades. The Korean giant is not stopping by after launching the Galaxy S24 Series; it is set to launch some new mid-range smartphones very soon. If we go with the recent reports and public certifications spotted, Samsung could launch the Galaxy F55 5G, Galaxy M55 5G, and Galaxy C55 5G. Among these smartphones, the Galaxy F55 5G has been spotted on BIS India with model code SM-E556B.

As verified plenty of times ago, the BIS listing hardly confirms any smartphone specifications. However, it does confirm the Galaxy F55 5G launch in India soon. We have to wait for some more details before concluding on the device’s specifications.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G Detailed

Additionally, the Galaxy F55 5G was spotted last week on WiFi Alliance along with some other smartphones, including the Galaxy M55 5G and the Galaxy C55 5G.

Surprisingly, among the three devices, only the Galaxy M55 5G appeared on the Geekbench a while ago. It was spotted running the Adreno 644 GPU and a CPU with a maximum clocking speed of 2.40 GHz, which roughly means the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

The smartphone will succeed the Galaxy M54 5G, which was launched early last year. Similarly, the Galaxy F55 5G will succeed the Galaxy F54, which was launched last year with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with an Exynos 1380 SoC, up to 256GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM. The smartphone houses a triple rear camera with a 108 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP macro lens. There’s a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

We expect certain hardware upgrades and software improvements in the upcoming Galaxy F55 5G. More information is expected to leak via leaks and rumors in the coming days.
