To recall, this special edition of the smartwatch has been exclusive to the Chinese market so far. But now, its global availability is finally confirmed.

Alongside the Watch 4 Pro model, the company is also expected to unveil other new products like the Huawei Watch GT 4 and the new MatePad 11.5. We can also expect other devices to be unveiled, including the MateBook X Pro and certain other wearable gadgets. Huawei‘s recently launched Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition might be making its way to more markets soon. While the smartwatch is currently exclusive to Chinese markets, leaks suggest a global launch could be on the horizon.

The leak comes from X (formerly Twitter) user @MysteryLupin who has claimed that the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition will soon be arriving in the European market. It is currently unclear if the watch will be launched in other markets besides European nations.

The Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition features a two-toned design with a red and black bezel, achieved through a special heating process. It’s built to last, with a high-tech ceramic bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire glass cover.

In addition to its looks, this edition features UWB (Ultra-Wideband) connectivity, allowing touchless control of compatible electric vehicles. Other features include eSIM functionality for making calls without a smartphone.

It has a 1.5-inch AMOLED LTPO color screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The side button supports various functions, including long and short presses, while the upper button doubles as a rotating crown. Honor has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming foldable smartphone and smartwatch. The Magic Vs 2 was rumored to launch soon, and now, an official teaser has confirmed that it will be released later this week.

The company shared the teaser on its official Weibo account (a Chinese microblogging website). On the social media platform, it was confirmed that the Honor Magic Vs 2 and Watch 4 Pro will be announced in China on 12th October 2023. Talking about the flagship foldable phone first, the Magic Vs 2 is expected to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 66W fast charging. This chipset will be paired with the 16GB of RAM.

On the rear, the foldable phone will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a matrix arrangement. One of them is a floating astronaut game, which is an endless obstacle game much like Temple Run where you have to save your character from the objects that are in the way. You can simply press Go, and the game will begin, where you have to save your character from the objects that are in the way. You can play this game without unlocking the watch at any time.

For those unaware, Huawei launched HarmonyOS 4 on August 4, 2023, which is currently in the beta testing phase. Huawei Watch 4 Pro users can apply to join the beta testing through the “My Huawei” App, available with Huawei mobile phones and tablets. One thing to note here is that the “My Huawei” App should be updated to the latest version; otherwise, beta testing will not be accessible.

The smartwatches feature a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen offering a 466 x 466 pixels screen resolution and a 310 PPI pixel density. Under the hood, they are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Both smartwatches have an Always-on display with a number of watch faces to choose from. Further, they are also rated to be water-resistant up to 5 meters. The Pro model in the series comes with a larger case that measures 48mm in diameter and 12.9mm in depth, while the standard model has a 46mm dial and 10.9mm depth case.

Huawei has a launch event scheduled for March 23 where the brand will be launching the Huawei P60 flagship sereis along with the Enjoy 60 smartphone and Huawei FreeBuds 5. We already know that the brand has a couple of smartwatches called the Huawei Watch 4 & Watch 4 Pro in development, however, it is currently unclear if they will make an appearance at the launch event.

That being said, the Huawei Watch 4 Pro has appeared on Bluetooth SIG revealing some information on the Huawei Watch 4 Pro. The listing confirms that the upcoming smartwatch with model number MDS-AL00 is the Huawei Watch 4 Pro. It also reveals that the smartwatch will be using Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. The listing does not reveal any further details, however, previous WIFI Alliance and 3C certifications have shed some light on what to expect.

As per previous reports, the Watch 4 Pro will come in two models marked by model numbers MDS-Al10, and MDS-AL00. These devices have LTE 4G connectivity and 2.4GHz WIFI. The battery inside the smartwatch is capable of 5W charging. Additionally, there have been speculations about the watch featuring satellite connectivity and being reinforced with a distinctive Zircon material encircling the dial.

Huawei is working on new smartwatches that it plans to launch soon. It’s being called the Huawei Watch 4 series. So far, a few leaked tidbits have revealed that the watches will be made with Zircon material and they could feature satellite connectivity.

Now, two of these models called the Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro have appeared on WiFi Alliance with model numbers ARC-AL00, MDS-Al10, and MDS-AL00. The certification authority has disclosed that the Huawei Watch 4 is identified as ARC-AL00, while the Huawei Watch 4 Pro comes in two models. The codenames for the watches are derived from the terms “Arch” and “Medusa,” which correspond to the standard and Pro versions, respectively.

In addition to that, the Huawei Watch 4 has also been spotted on China’s 3C certification website. The listing mentions that the smartwatch will be capable of LTE 4G connectivity. Additionally, it has a charging rate of 5W.

From the above-mentioned information, we can gather that the Huawei Watch 4 series smartwatches will feature 2.4GHz WiFi, 4G LTE connectivity (likely digital SIM), and 5W charging speeds.
