Now, the company is all set to launch it in India on January 14. Ahead of its launch, the OnePlus 9RT India model has now emerged on Geekbench confirming its arrival.</p>
<p>A OnePlus device with model number MT2111 passed the Geekbench v5 certification scoring impressive points. It is believed to be the OnePlus 9RT Indian model since the same device was earlier seen on BIS certification. The Geekbench listing reveals a single-core score of 888 points and a multi-core score of 3319 points.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-436688" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-9RT-India-MT2111-Geekbench.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus 9RT " width="494" height="638" /></p>
<p>The smartphone is powered by the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888">Qualcomm Snapdragon 888</a> octa-core SoC. It has the first four cores clocked at 1.80GHz, the other three cores clocked at 2.42 GHz, and the last core clocked at 2.84GHz. The device has 12GB of RAM but unfortunately, it runs on Android 11. But we expect the company to push the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/android-12">Android 12</a> update soon after the launch.</p>
<p>Regarding its other specs, the phone was launched with a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.</p>

<p>It sports a 16MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera. The rear setup goes by a 50MP Sony IMX766 main lens, a 16MP ultra-wide sensor, and lastly a 2MP macro lens. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery has support for Warp Charge 65T.</p>

Take the OnePlus 9R, for example, that launched for &#8216;just&#8217; INR 39,999 ($532), yet offers near-flagship specifications. The phone continues to be a compelling buy even now, but OnePlus seems intent on upholding its tradition of launching two versions of the same device in the same year.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-9rt/">OnePlus 9RT</a> is now all to be making its debut on October 13, and here&#8217;s all you need to know before making up your mind about the purchase.</p>
<h4><strong>Design &amp; Display</strong></h4>
<p>Thanks to official posters, we now know that the OnePlus 9RT will feature a design pretty much its predecessor. The main difference will lie in its camera module which now sports three cameras instead of the OnePlus 9R&#8217;s four, although this isn&#8217;t necessarily a bad thing.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-417739" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver-1024x495.png?x10805" alt="OnePlus 9RT" width="696" height="336" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver-1024x495.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver-300x145.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver-768x371.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver-696x337.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver-1068x516.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver-869x420.png 869w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9Rt-silver.png 1487w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>The display should be identical to the one found on the 9R. This means that it will continue to be a super-fluid 6.55&#8243; AMOLED 120Hz panel with HDR10+ support.</p>
<h4><strong>Cameras on the OnePlus 9RT</strong></h4>
<p>There are rumors suggesting that the OnePlus 9RT will be coming with the same IMX766 50MP sensor as the one found on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/05/oneplus-releases-oxygenos-12-open-beta-android-12/">OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro</a>, although it is yet to be confirmed. If true, the device will be granting top-notch camera performance to its beholder, a far cry from the 48MP IMX586 found on its predecessor. But let&#8217;s not get too carried away for now.</p>
<p>Apart from the primary camera, there are barely any details at hand regarding the OnePlus 9RT&#8217;s photography capabilities. Still, it is safe to assume that the rest of the cameras will remain unchanged, meaning a 16MP ultrawide and a 5MP macro will be complimenting the 50MP primary on the rear. And a 16MP selfie camera will be present upfront.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-417784" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-1024x731.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus 9RT" width="696" height="497" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-1024x731.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-300x214.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-768x549.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-100x70.jpg 100w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-696x497.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-588x420.jpg 588w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT.jpg 1050w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>That one lost camera from the back will most likely be the 2MP monochrome, which was barely any use anyway.</p>
<h4><strong>Other Specifications</strong></h4>
<p>The most significant officially confirmed upgrade will be the usage of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Fabricated on the 5nm process, the chip should translate to improved performance with regular usage as well as games, all while being more efficient.</p>
<p>The chip will be supported with up to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/04/alleged-oneplus-9-rt-with-sd888-12gb-ram-spotted-at-geekbench/">12GB of LPDDR5 RAM</a> that can be expanded by 7GB thanks to virtual RAM support, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone&#8217;s display will be a Samsung E4 panel. A tipster had also revealed that the device will be packing a 4,500mAh battery with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/10/oneplus-9rt-will-have-warp-charge-65t-7gb-virtual-ram-and-more/">65T Warp Charge support</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-418139" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-Screen-Teaser-768x1024.jpeg?x10805" alt="OnePlus 9RT Screen Teaser" width="696" height="928" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-Screen-Teaser-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-Screen-Teaser-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-Screen-Teaser-696x928.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-Screen-Teaser-315x420.jpeg 315w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OnePlus-9RT-Screen-Teaser.jpeg 880w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>Further, OnePlus had confirmed that the 9RT will have an improved cooling system, a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/11/oneplus-9rt-screen-details-teaser/">600Hz ultra-sensitive touch</a>, and an extremely low screen latency.</p>
<h4><strong>Software</strong></h4>
<p>There is confusion regarding the Android and OxygenOS (based on ColorOS) version the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-9rt/">OnePlus 9RT</a> will be running, although reliable leakster Digital Chat Station had said that it will be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/05/the-oneplus-9-rt-may-run-android-11-out-of-the-box/">ColorOS 12 based on Android 11</a>, at least in China.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-417043" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OxygenOS-12-Open-Beta-1.png?x10805" alt="OxygenOS 12 Open Beta" width="510" height="570" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OxygenOS-12-Open-Beta-1.png 510w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OxygenOS-12-Open-Beta-1-268x300.png 268w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/OxygenOS-12-Open-Beta-1-376x420.png 376w" sizes="(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px" /></p>
<p>This is quite odd, however, considering ColorOS 12 is still in its beta phase and is linked to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/05/realme-ui-3-android-12-launch-13-october/">Android 12</a> and not 11.</p>
<h4><strong>Colors &amp; Release</strong></h4>
<p>The OnePlus 9RT will be available in blue, silver, and black. The black will be called &#8216;<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/11/oneplus-9rt-hacker-black-edition-spotted-on-retailer-site/">Hacker Black</a>&#8216; while the silver will likely be called &#8216;Nano Silver&#8217;. An <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/08/oneplus-9rt-launch-date-confirmed-renders-emerge/">announcement date</a> of October 13 7:30 PM (local time) has been confirmed in China. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/09/oneplus-9-rt-will-go-on-sale-from-october-19-in-china/">sale will commence</a> October 19 in the country. Official news regarding a global launch is still awaited but should follow soon enough.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.giztop.com/oneplus-9rt.html">OnePlus 9RT</a> price in China is reported to be between CNY 2,000 (~Rs. 23,250) and CNY 3,000 (~Rs. 34,800).</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The latest Weibo </span><a href="https://weibo.com/1110411735/KBCwS3s7D"><span style="font-weight: 400">post</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> by Pete Lau, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/OnePlus/"><span style="font-weight: 400">OnePlus</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, details the OnePus T series of smartphones released so far. In the end, the post reads that the upcoming model in the lineup will have a new name and more details will be revealed tomorrow (October 8).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Unfortunately, Weibo spoils the hype by revealing the name of the device, which is none other than ‘OnePlus 9RT’. The brand exec shared this post from the yet-to-release phone.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Last month, OnePlus </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/09/20/officially-confirmed-there-wont-be-a-oneplus-9t-or-oneplus-9t-pro/"><span style="font-weight: 400">revealed</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> that there won’t be a OnePlus 9T and a OnePlus 9T Pro in 2021.  But the company did not shed details on the OnePlus 9RT. Hence, this is the first time we are hearing about the tweaked version of the OnePlus 9R officially from the brand.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to previous reports, the OnePlus 9RT will come with features like </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/06/oneplus-9-rts-two-major-upgrades-could-be-in-these-departments/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Qualcomm Snapdragon 888</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, ColorOS 12 (</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/05/the-oneplus-9-rt-may-run-android-11-out-of-the-box/"><span style="font-weight: 400">could be based on Android 11</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">), 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/04/alleged-oneplus-9-rt-with-sd888-12gb-ram-spotted-at-geekbench/"><span style="font-weight: 400">up to 12GB RAM</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">/256GB storage, and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/05/leak-reveals-oneplus-9-rt-will-be-available-in-three-colors/"><span style="font-weight: 400">three colors (blue, silver, black)</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">In a nutshell, the OnePlus 9RT will be a refreshed OnePlus 9R with some upgrades. Going by Pete Lau’s Weibo post, we expect the company to announce the launch date for China tomorrow.</span></p>
