The ColorOS 13 has been receiving a lot of attention for its impressive features and smooth performance since it was officially launched. A lot of OPPO users were eagerly anticipating the opportunity to try out this latest user interface on their smartphones. The good news is that the wait is now over for OPPO Reno 7, K9s, and K10 Vitality Edition users in China, as they can finally download and install the latest ColorOS 13 update on their devices. This update introduces a variety of new features and enhancements to the user experience, making these phones even more impressive than they already were.

Let us begin with the Oppo Reno 7. With its elegant appearance, strong hardware, and outstanding camera system, this phone already had a lot going for it. The Reno 7 now offers even more features thanks to the ColorOS 13 update. There are also additional customization choices for the home screen and app icons, allowing users to completely personalise their phone. The update is now available for the Chinese version of the gadget.

The Oppo K9s are up next. Because of its low price and excellent performance, this mid-range phone has become a consumer choice. The ColorOS 13 update significantly improves the K9s’ features and capabilities. The new privacy dashboard, which provides consumers more control over their data and helps to preserve their privacy, is one of the most noticeable features. Improved gesture navigation, faster app start speeds, and a more responsive user interface are also included in the update.

Finally, there’s the Oppo K10 Vitality Edition. The ColorOS 13 update adds several new features and enhancements to the K10 Vitality Edition. The update introduces a new power saver option that can increase the phone’s battery life by up to 25%. There are also new gaming features, like a game assistant and a gaming toolbox, that make it easier to play games on the phone.

Samsung just started releasing the Android 13 stable update for the Galaxy S22 series earlier this week. On the other hand, Oppo has already delivered the same update for multiple devices since last month.

At the same time, the company is running beta programs for various handsets. In fact, four more mode phones have joined the beta initiative recently. All of them are Reno series smartphones.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G

Oppo has started recruiting Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta testers for the following handsets in the mentioned regions.

Oppo Reno 5 5G

China

Oppo Reno 6 5G

China

India

Oppo Reno 7 5G

India

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G (including League of Legends Edition)

China

India

Users of the phones mentioned above can head to Settings > About Device > ColorOS Logo > Icon on the top right to access the ColorOS 13 beta registration page. They can fill out the form and submit it to enroll themselves.

Selected applicants will get access to the latest version of ColorOs in beta form via an OTA software update. Unqualified applicants can try their luck in the next batch of recruitments if any.

Going by Oppo’s track record of software delivery, these smartphones will receive the stable update as early as a month from now. Further, as October is about to end, we are looking forward to Oppo sharing the ColorOS 13 update schedule for November in the coming days.

The tipster now suggests that the 7th gen Reno family may not include a Pro+ model.

The leaker says that the prototypes of vanilla and Pro variants are much better than their predecessor. They have improvements in both display and camera departments.

Above all, he hasn’t heard about the Pro+ variant yet.
Lastly, an unreliable source tipped that OPPO Reno7, OPPO Reno7 Pro, and OPPO Reno7 Pro+ will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920, MediaTek Dimensity 1200, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 respectively.
