<p>HyperOS 2 is not a minor upgrade; it&#8217;s actually a major one with plenty of improvements and new features. Xiaomi did a great job by significantly reducing the app delays and improving multitasking capabilities. There are also an AI-powered lock screen, a revamped desktop layout, AI magic painting, and 3D real-time weather system, to name a few.</p>

<p>Xiaomi has already released the stable HyperOS 2 update to over a dozen smartphones, and the list keeps getting bigger and bigger as the days go by. The latest one to get the HyperOS 2 treat is none other than the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x6-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco X6 Pro</a>. The global rollout starts with the EEA region, but it won&#8217;t be long before it reaches different parts of the world.</p>

<p>The HyperOS 2 update for the Poco X6 Pro is tagged with firmware version 2.0.2.0.VNLEUXM. It&#8217;s based on Android 15. Hence, in addition to HyperOS 2 features, you&#8217;ll get more new features directly from the development team at Google.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a major update that weighs around 5.7GB in size. Hence, it&#8217;s recommended that you download it over a stable Wi-Fi connection. And before you hit the install button, ensure that the battery is at least 40% charged to avoid update failure.</p>

<p>To upgrade your Poco X6 Pro to the latest software, open the Settings app and go to the software update section. From there, you can check for a new update and download it. If you don&#8217;t see an update there, manually download the update package using third-party websites/apps such as<a href="http://hyperosupdates.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Hyperosupdates.com</a> or<a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=en.hyperosdownloader&amp;hl=en_IN" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> the MemeOS Enhancer</a> app and flash the package manually.</p>

<p>Check out the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/14/hyperos-2-global-release-timeline-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> HyperOS 2 global roadmap</a> to find out when the update will be available for your other Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco devices.</p>

<p>A few days <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/02/poco-m6-pro-4g-india-launch-confirmed-for-january-11/">before its official launch</a>, the Poco X6 5G finally passes the FCC certification. Unlike the Poco X6 5G, the Poco X6 Pro 5G <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/08/poco-x6-pro-5g-appears-on-fcc-with-plastic-frame-and-hyperos-hinting-at-it-as-a-rebranded-redmi-k70e/">made it to the FCC</a> a month ago, along with the specification details. Despite the already-present Poco X6 5G&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/04/poco-x6-specs-design-leak-unboxing-video/">design and specification details</a>, the FCC listing seems like confirmation of the existing information. </p>

<p>Well, the listing confirms the presence of a 5020 mAh battery with model code BM5V. In terms of connectivity, the listing confirms the presence of dual-band WiFi and NFC. Surprisingly, the Poco X6 5G seems to feature MIUI 14.0 if we go with the listing, which is quite opposite of the Poco X6 Pro 5G, which is officially teased to feature HyperOS. </p>

<p>The smartphone is already doing the rounds on the web, and below we have concluded the specifications from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/01/poco-x6-pro-5g-poco-x6-5g-poco-m6-pro-renders-leaked-design-color-options-revealed/">different leaks</a>,<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/21/poco-x6-pro-5g-appears-on-the-uaes-tdra-launch-expected-in-january/"> public certifications</a>, and rumors. </p>

<h2><strong>Poco X6 Series Specifications and Features (Expected)</strong></h2>

<p>Poco X6 Series is launching on January 11 in India, featuring the Poco X6 5G and Poco X6 Pro 5G. The Poco X6 Pro 5G will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/05/poco-x6-pro-5g-confirmed-to-launch-with-hyperos-out-of-the-box/">run the new HyperOS</a>, Xiaomi&#8217;s UI replacement, paired with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor and a stainless steel vapor cooling chamber. Leaks reveal a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 64MP OIS-enabled primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Moreover, the Poco X6 Pro was recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/05/poco-x6-pro-5g-antutu-specs/">spotted at the AnTuTu benchmark</a>, where it scored 1,464,228 points, emphasizing high performance.</p>

<p>The Poco X6 5G, seen in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/04/poco-x6-specs-design-leak-unboxing-video/">leaked unboxing videos</a>, boasts a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup, and a 5,100mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging, running Android 13 on MIUI 14. Official<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/01/poco-x6-pro-5g-poco-x6-5g-poco-m6-pro-renders-leaked-design-color-options-revealed/"> renders hint at various color options </a>for both models, and there&#8217;s speculation about the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/02/poco-m6-pro-4g-india-launch-confirmed-for-january-11/">Poco M6 Pro 5G</a> smartphone, which is a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/10/poco-m6-5g-incoming-as-a-rebranded-version-of-this-redmi-phone/">modified version </a>of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, with a 64-megapixel primary camera. </p>

<p>As the Poco X6 Series gears up for its grand launch, these leaks and teasers have certainly stoked the curiosity of smartphone enthusiasts. Even a recent teaser from Poco confirms the new smartphone series as a significant phone in the competitive smartphone market, carrying combination of powerful features, innovative design, etc.</p>

<p>POCO X6 series smartphones will be landing in the Indian and other global markets on January 11. The star of the show will be the POCO X6 Pro which is already confirmed to come with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/21/mediatek-unveils-dimensity-8300-with-generative-ai-capabilities/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 8300</a> SoC and a large stainless steel vapor chamber cooling system. Now, the brand has given us a glimpse at its performance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="819" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/GC-fC2wagAAs_Ed-819x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="POCO X6 Pro AnTuTu" class="wp-image-596111" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/GC-fC2wagAAs_Ed-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/GC-fC2wagAAs_Ed-240x300.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/GC-fC2wagAAs_Ed-768x960.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/GC-fC2wagAAs_Ed-696x870.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/GC-fC2wagAAs_Ed-336x420.jpg 336w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/GC-fC2wagAAs_Ed.jpg 960w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure></div>

<p>As per a recent teaser via <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO</a>&#8216;s official X account, the POCO X6 Pro has achieved a mind-blowing AnTuTu score of 1,464,228. As we know, the POCO X6 Pro is a rebrand of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70e/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K70E</a>, which is currently the best-performing mid-range smartphone on AnTuTu with a score of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/02/antutu-top-10-mid-range-smartphones-december-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">1.4 million+ points</a>. So, it&#8217;s safe to say that POCO isn&#8217;t cutting any corners in the performance department.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="678" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T-1024x678.png?x44794" alt="POCO X6 Pro" class="wp-image-596112" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T-1024x678.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T-300x198.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T-768x508.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T-696x461.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T-1068x707.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T-635x420.png 635w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/MBjyLvzC1T.png 1327w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Apart from that, the brand has also recently confirmed that the POCO X6 Pro will be the first device to launch with Xiaomi&#8217;s Android 14-based <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/05/poco-x6-pro-5g-confirmed-to-launch-with-hyperos-out-of-the-box/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">HyperOS</a> onboard. It was expected that the recently launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/04/redmi-note-13-pro-plus-5g-india-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 13 5G series</a> will be the first device to debut with HyperOS in India, however, the brand pulled the rug from under us and launched the Note 13 series with Android 13 onboard. POCO X6 Pro&#8217;s predecessor launched with Android 12 onboard and is expected to get Android 14 eventually. By that logic, we can expect at least 2 years of major software updates for the POCO X6 Pro 5G, which will carry it to Android 16.</p>

<p>Other than that, a recent Amazon listing revealed some key details about the device. As per the listing, the POCO X6 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The smartphone is set to feature a 64MP OIS-enabled primary camera, complemented by 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lenses. The device is expected to be equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging.</p>

<p>POCO announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle that the POCO X6 Pro 5G will ship with HyperOS out of the box. This will make it the first device in India to launch with Xiaomi’s new UI that replaced the MIUI. POCO is already seeding the HyperOS update over the air for the POCO F5 as previously confirmed. The rollout is already ahead of other devices from Xiaomi’s flagship offerings and Redmi phones. </p>

<p>Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Pro (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/22/xiaomi-13-pro-review-part-1/">review</a>) and Xiaomi Pad 6 (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/07/22/xiaomi-pad-6-review/">review</a>) will be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/01/xiaomi-officially-announces-hyperos-rollout-india/">first devices</a> to get HyperOS soon. Unfortunately, the recently announced Redmi Note 13 series in India ships with pre-installed MIUI.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The POCO X6 Pro 5G is already confirmed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor. It will retain the same design as its predecessor with an elongated rectangular camera module on the back panel. The upcoming offering is teased to feature a 5000 mm2 stainless steel vapor cooling chamber for heat dissipation. </p>

<p>An accidentally <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/01/poco-x6-pro-5g-m6-pro-4g-specs-and-price-leaks-via-amazon-listing/">leaked Amazon listing</a> of the device revealed that it will feature a 6.7-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The smartphone will feature a 64MP OIS-enabled primary camera paired with 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lenses. The upcoming offering will reportedly be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 67W fast charging.  The POCO X6 Pro 5G was listed at AED 1,299 for the top-end 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage configuration.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco">Poco</a> is expected to unveil the Poco X6 series of smartphones in India soon. Reports suggest that the brand could be gearing up to launch the Poco X6 5G and Poco X6 Pro 5G in India. In addition, the brand could be working on a 4G version of the Poco M6 Pro. In a new report, <em>91Mobiles</em> published the leaked renders of all three smartphones, revealing their design and color options.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco X6, X6 Pro renders</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Pvoo-X6-5G-leaked-renders-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="Poco X6 5G leaked renders" class="wp-image-595057" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Pvoo-X6-5G-leaked-renders-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Pvoo-X6-5G-leaked-renders-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Pvoo-X6-5G-leaked-renders-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Pvoo-X6-5G-leaked-renders-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Pvoo-X6-5G-leaked-renders-746x420.png 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Pvoo-X6-5G-leaked-renders.png 1068w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Poco X6 5G leaked renders</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The official-looking renders show that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco-x6/">Poco X6 5G</a> will come in black, blue, and white shades, whereas the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x6-pro/">Poco X6 Pro 5G</a> will be available in black, gray, and yellow. The report further states that both devices will be available with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in storage.</p>

<p>Reports have claimed that the Poco X6 5G and X6 Pro 5G will be tweaked versions of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-13-pro/">Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G</a> and the Redmi K70e, which are available in the Chinese market. One major difference between the Redmi Note 13 5G and the Poco X6 5G appears to be in the camera department. While the Redmi phone has a 200-megapixel main camera, its Poco variant is likely to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-leaked-renders-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="Poco X6 Pro 5G leaked renders" class="wp-image-595058" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-leaked-renders-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-leaked-renders-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-leaked-renders-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-leaked-renders-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-leaked-renders-746x420.png 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-leaked-renders.png 1068w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Poco X6 Pro 5G leaked renders</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>As per a recent report, the Poco X6 Pro may support 67W fast charging. For those who don’t know, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70e/">Redmi K70e</a> supports 90W rapid charging.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco M6 Pro renders</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Poco-M6-Pro-4G-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco M6 Pro leaked renders" class="wp-image-595059" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Poco-M6-Pro-4G-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Poco-M6-Pro-4G-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Poco-M6-Pro-4G-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Poco-M6-Pro-4G-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Poco-M6-Pro-4G-746x420.jpg 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Poco-M6-Pro-4G.jpg 1068w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Poco M6 Pro leaked renders</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/23/poco-m6-pro-4g-global-launch-nbtc/">Poco M6 Pro</a> is said to be a modified version of the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-13-pro-4g/">Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G</a>. The Redmi variant is said to have a 108-megapixel main camera, while the Poco phone may offer a 64-megapixel primary camera. In addition, it is expected to ship with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. The leaked renders show that the M6 Pro will be available in black, blue, and purple. While the X6 and X6 Pro are heading to India, the M6 Pro may not be released in the country.</p>

And it looks like the official announcement might be just around the corner!</p>

<p>Himanshu Tandon, Poco India country head, dropped a Christmas <a href="https://twitter.com/Himanshu_POCO" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">tweet </a>with a not-so-subtle clue: &#8220;Happy Xmas Everyone! Santa is coming with a gift soon.&#8221; This tease strongly suggests that the Poco X6 series is about to arrive in India.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">

</div></figure>

<p>Similar to its predecessor, the X6 series is expected to offer only two models: the standard X6 and the higher-end X6 Pro.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Leaks suggest the Poco X6 could be a rebranded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 13 Pro</a>. If so, we can expect a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with 1.5k resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Redmi-Note-13-1-983x420.jpg?x44794" alt="" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The device could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The camera setup is rumored to feature a 64MP main sensor alongside a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP additional unit.</p>

<p>The Poco X6 Pro, meanwhile, might be a rebadged <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70e/#:~:text=It%20is%20packed%20with%208,%2C%20gyro%2C%20proximity%20and%20compass." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K70E</a>. This translates to a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with an 1800 nits peak brightness and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will come with Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70E-1-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="" /><figcaption>Redmi K70E</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Camera-wise, the Poco X6 Pro might pack a triple-lens setup on the back. The main sensor will be a 64-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharp, steady shots. Joining it will be an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video calls, there will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.</p>

<p>While official Poco X6 series launch details remain under wraps, a previous <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/19/poco-x6-pro-5g-global-launch-expected-in-late-january-2024/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">report suggests</a> that the smartphone may launch globally in late 2024. <p>The Poco X6 Pro 5G&#8217;s TDRA listing confirms the smartphone&#8217;s upcoming launch. There&#8217;s hardly any information about the device&#8217;s specifications or features. We have to wait for some official confirmation of the features, launch, and pricing details. </p>

<h2>Poco X6 Series Features and Specifications (Expected)</h2>

<p>Along with the Poco X6 Series, Xiaomi&#8217;s sub-brand is launching the Poco M6 5G in India. The Poco X6 Pro 5G and Poco X6 have appeared on Xiaomi&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/19/poco-x6-pro-5g-global-launch-expected-in-late-january-2024/">internal servers running HyperOS</a>. As per the FCC, the Poco X6 Pro is expected to come in the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants built on plastic frames, while the 12GB+512GB variant will launch with a PU frame. </p>

<p>The Poco X6 was recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/02/poco-x6-run-geekbench-with-snapdragon-7s-gen-2/">spotted on Geekbench</a> running the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with the Adreno 710 GPU. The Poco X6 is expected to be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro China variant. Considering that, the smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to feature a 5100 mAh battery with 67W fast charging technology.</p>

<p>While the Poco X6 Pro is a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/29/poco-x6-pro-5g-could-be-rebranded-redmi-k70e-reveals-nbtc-certification/">rebrand of the Redmi K70E</a> and could feature the same specs as the China variant,. So, it will feature a triple-rear lens setup featuring a 64 MP primary sensor with OUS, a 2 MP macro lens, and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. There will be a 16 MP front-facing camera. It will have a 5500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. </p>

<p>The Poco X6 Series global launch date and availability details remain unconfirmed for now. There&#8217;s late January launch speculation for the new series; however, we have not confirmed whether the rumor will see the <em>day of the light </em>or not. </p>

<p>The Poco X6 Pro 5G might be launching globally in January 2024. While <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/poco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> hasn&#8217;t made an official announcement yet, a report by <em>xiaomiui.net</em> suggests that the company may launch the Poco X6 Pro 5G smartphone in the last week of January. </p>

<p>The phone popped up on Xiaomi&#8217;s internal test servers running HyperOS suggesting a launch could be imminent. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Poco-X6-Pro-5G-Global-launch.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-591825" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Poco-X6-Pro-5G-Global-launch.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Poco-X6-Pro-5G-Global-launch-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Poco-X6-Pro-5G-Global-launch-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Poco-X6-Pro-5G-Global-launch-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Poco-X6-Pro-5G-Global-launch-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>

<p>The rumor is further strengthened by the fact that the Poco X6 Pro has also appeared on certification websites like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/08/poco-x6-pro-5g-appears-on-fcc-with-plastic-frame-and-hyperos-hinting-at-it-as-a-rebranded-redmi-k70e/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FCC</a>, NBTC, IMEI, and BIS.</p>

<p>Speaking of the FCC, it revealed some interesting details. The X6 Pro will come in three storage options, and surprisingly, the build materials differ between them. Both the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions will have plastic frames, while the other 12GB+512GB variant gets a fancy PU frame.</p>

<p>Rumors suggest the X6 Pro is essentially a rebranded Redmi K70E. If that&#8217;s true, we can expect a gorgeous 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with an 1800 nits peak brightness and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

<p>Likewise, keeping the lights on will be a 5500mAh battery with impressive 90W fast charging support.</p>

<p>While the Poco X6 Pro&#8217;s global launch date remains unconfirmed, the January timeline and increasing leaks suggest it won&#8217;t be long before we can get our hands on this phone. Stay tuned for the latest updates as we keep you informed on any new developments.</p>

<p>Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the new X Series, i.e., the Poco X6 and Poxo X6 Pro 5G, globally. The new lineup will succeed the Poxo X5 series, which was globally launched earlier this year. However, Xiaomi has not confined it officially, but the smartphone has already appeared on Thailand&#8217;s NBTC, IMEI, India&#8217;s BIS, and other certifications. The smartphone today has made it to the FCC, where some details have been unwrapped. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/XX3Whc0Vp4.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" width="607" height="419" data-id="588987" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/XX3Whc0Vp4.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-588987" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/XX3Whc0Vp4.jpg 607w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/XX3Whc0Vp4-300x207.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/XX3Whc0Vp4-218x150.jpg 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/XX3Whc0Vp4-100x70.jpg 100w" sizes="(max-width: 607px) 100vw, 607px" /></a></figure>

<p>The listing confirms the smartphone is running HyperOS 1.0, and it will feature three different storage variants. The smartphone&#8217;s build also changes with different storage variants, here are more details</p>

<ul><li>12GB RAM+512G Variant Will Come with a Plastic Frame</li><li>8GB RAM+256G will also feature a Plastic Frame</li><li>12GB RAM+512G will use PU Frame</li></ul>

<p>Well, this seems quite absurd that Poco is shipping Plastic Frame for its mid-range smartphones. However, the Poco X6 Pro is slated to be the rebranded version of the Xiaomi Redmi K70E, while the Poco X6 will be the rebranded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-13-pro/">Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G</a>. The presence of a Plastic Frame on the Poco X6 Pro 5G seems to confirm it as the rebranded Redmi K70E, as the device also features a Plastic Frame. It is quite difficult to conclude specifications until any official confirmation arrives. </p>

<h2><strong>Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro Specs (Expected)</strong></h2>

<p>However, the Poco X6 5G recently<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/02/poco-x6-run-geekbench-with-snapdragon-7s-gen-2/"> arrived at Geekbench </a>unveiling some information about its specifications. The smartphone is expected to feature a <a href="https://d.docs.live.net/ba4e0be9c9ae9aae/Work%202023/GizmoChina%202023/https;/www.gizmcohina.com/tag/snapdragon-7s-gen-2">Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC</a> with 12GB RAM. It is running Android 13. </p>

<p>We expect the Poco X6 5G to feature a 6.67-inch, 12-bit, 120Hz Dolby Vision AMOLED display with 1800 nits of peak brightness, a large 200MP, f/1.7, OIS-enabled main camera, and a 5,100 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The Poco X6 Pro 5G will feature a 6.67″ 1.5K OLED screen with up to 1800 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the <a href="https://www.fonearena.com/blog/410992/mediatek-dimensity-8300-specs-features.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 8300 Ultra</a> SoC along with LPDDR5X RAM and up to UFS 4.0 storage. </p>

<p>The smartphone appears to bundle a triple rear camera consisting of a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro camera. Other specs will also match the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70e/">Redmi K70E</a> which was launched a week ago in China. The smartphone <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/29/xiaomi-redmi-k70e-launched-china/">was launched </a>at the starting price of 1999 Yuan which roughly translates to ~ $282 and Rs 23,550. </p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO </a>is planning on unveiling the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco-x6-pro-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO X6 Pro 5G </a>and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco-m6-pro-4g/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">M6 Pro 4G</a> in the global market soon. A recent certification sighting hints at an imminent launch of the two smartphones in the overseas regions. So here are all the details. </p>

<h2>POCO X6 Pro 5G &amp; POCO M6 Pro 4G visit SDPPI</h2>

<p>For those unaware, the Chinese smartphone maker&#8217;s upcoming POCO X6 Pro 5G could be a rebranded Redmi K70e. This model was recently spotted on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/29/poco-x6-pro-5g-could-be-rebranded-redmi-k70e-reveals-nbtc-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBTC certification</a> as well. Similarly, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/23/poco-m6-pro-4g-global-launch-nbtc/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO M6 Pro 4G </a>also surfaced on the NBTC and is believed to be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G Model. Now, both devices are listed on Indonesia&#8217;s SDPPI certification, which hints at their global release.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-SDPPI.jpeg?x44794" alt="POCO X6 Pro 5G" class="wp-image-587340" width="714" height="401" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-SDPPI.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-SDPPI-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-SDPPI-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-SDPPI-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/POCO-X6-Pro-5G-SDPPI-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 714px) 100vw, 714px" /></figure></div>

<p>The online listing revealed that the POCO M6 Pro 4G and POCO X6 Pro 5G was spotted on SDPPI, carrying the model number 2312FPCA6G and 2311DRK48G respectively. However, the database didn&#8217;t reveal any finer details like its specifications. Apart from the NBTC sighting, the X6 Pro was even sighted on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/05/poco-x6-pro-spotted-on-india-bis-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BIS </a>platform, which confirms the Indian availability. Meanwhile, the POCO M6 Pro 4G has even surfaced on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/07/redmi-note-13-pro-poco-m6-pro-fcc/">FCC </a>platform. </p>

<p>Keep in mind that this is still just certification listings at this point and no concrete information is available as of right now. So stick around for more as we will be providing updates when additional details are available regarding the two smartphones.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco">Poco</a> X6 series could be one of the smartphones to debut in the first quarter of 2024. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/18/xiaomis-upcoming-redmi-note-13r-pro-could-launch-as-poco-x6-neo-in-india/">Poco X6 Neo 5G</a> (model number: 2312FRAFDI) was recently approved by India’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/20/poco-x6-neo-india-launch-near-visits-bis/">BIS certification</a> platform, and the Poco X6 5G (model number: 23122PCD1G / 23122PCD1I) has been approved by some certification platforms like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/15/poco-x6-5g-imda-certification/">Singapore’s IMDA</a>, Europe’s EEC, and India’s BIS. Now, the Poco X6 Pro 5G has bagged approval from the NBTC certification platform in Thailand, as per a report by <em>TheTechOutlook.</em></p>

<h3><strong>Poco X6 Pro 5G NBTC certified</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="73" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/POCO-X6-Pro-NBTC-listing-1024x73.jpg?x44794" alt="POCO X6 Pro NBTC listing" class="wp-image-586461" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/POCO-X6-Pro-NBTC-listing-1024x73.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/POCO-X6-Pro-NBTC-listing-300x21.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/POCO-X6-Pro-NBTC-listing-768x55.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/POCO-X6-Pro-NBTC-listing-696x50.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/POCO-X6-Pro-NBTC-listing-1068x76.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/POCO-X6-Pro-NBTC-listing.jpg 1109w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>POCO X6 Pro NBTC listing</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The NBTC certification of the Poco X6 Pro 5G reveals that its model number is 2311DRK48G. This device has been spotted previously in the database of other certification platforms, such as IMDA, EEC, and TKDN (Indonesia). The India variant of the phone, which has also bagged BIS certification, has the 2311DRK48I model number. These certifications reveal that the Poco X6 Pro 5G will be a rebadged version of the Dimensity 8300-Ultra powered <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70e/">Redmi K70e</a>, which will debut later today in China.</p>

<p>The NBTC certification debunks rumors that claimed that the Redmi K70e will be rebranded as Poco F6 5G in the global market. In August, Poco revealed through the POCO Partners SEA Forum in Thailand that it will be launching a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/22/poco-phone-with-dimensity-9200-plus-is-in-works-could-it-be-redmi-k60-ultras-global-variant/">flagship phone featuring the Dimensity 9200+</a>. It is likely that this device, which seems to be the POCO F6 5G, could be based on the Redmi K60 Ultra, which packs the same chip.</p>

<p>As far as other Poco X6 series phones are concerned, it is speculated that the Poco X6 Neo 5G will be a tweaked version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-13r-pro/">Redmi Note 13R Pro 5G</a> available in the Chinese market. Instead of the 108-megapixel camera available on the Note 13, the X6 Neo is said to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera. The Poco X6 5G, on the other hand, is said to be a rebranded version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-13-pro/">Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G</a> available in China.</p>
