Samsung recently refreshed the Galaxy Watch Active 2 at the January 14 event with a new Phantom Violet Color variant. It is already said to be working on the next Galaxy Watch for 2021. A report by Galaxyclub.nl reveals that Samsung is indeed working on the two Galaxy Watch models. Further, a new tips says that Samsung could ditch Tizen OS for Android on its Smartwatches.

According to the report, Samsung’s two new Watches have the model numbers SM-R86x SM-R87x. If you recall, the latest Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Watch Active2 both have SM-R8xx as model numbers. Hence, the new Watches could be their successors in 2021.

Anyway, the Watches will have different sizes as before, and available in Bluetooth and Cellular variants which is a no-brainer. Meanwhile, a tipster has hinted that Samsung might ditch Tizen OS on its future Smartwatches.

Ice Universe has said on Twitter that Samsung’s New Watch will use Android(i.e, Wear OS) instead of the Tizen platform. Samsung developed the Tizen OS with a view of building a broader & unique ecosystem for itself. It expanded the platform to various products like Smartwatches, TVs etc.

In fact, the company’s Tizen OS is the leading Smart TV platform Globally. Having said that, the reason for Samsung opting for Wear OS could be due to the lack of third-party apps for Galaxy Watches.

Either way, Samsung’s next Watch rumored as Galaxy Watch Active 3/ Galaxy Watch 4 will likely get a blood sugar monitoring feature. Let’s wait for more leaks to know about the upcoming Galaxy Watch models in 2021.

While the Tizen OS has been spread as a rumor few months ago, the Korean company, Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Z smartphone as the first Tizen OS smartphone on the market today.

Tizen OS is developed by Samsung and Intel, before Samsung released Tizen OS smartphone, they has already embed Tizen OS on the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. And now they also released Tizen OS to smartphone through Samsung Z device.

The Samsung Z has 4,8 inch AMOLED screen with 720 HD resolution, powered by 2,3GHz Quad-core processor and we assume that the phone is using Intel processor. Support with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

The phone has 8 megapixel rear camera and 2,1 megapixel front facing camera. This phone is also has microSD card slot fro memory expansion and uses 2,600 mAH battery capacity.

The external design of the Samsung Z also offers a completely new look. The device features a slim, angular design with sophisticated lines, providing a differentiated look and feel while maintaining Samsung’s overall design identity. The Samsung Z will be available in two refined colors: Black and Gold.

The Samsung Z will be available in Q3 in Russia and is planned to expand to other markets. Users will be offered to access additional applications through the Tizen Store at the launch of the Samsung Z.

But there is no information about the price for a while now.

Samsung is ready to announces their new Tizen device on Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, while many people s asking, “What is the new devices?”

Samsung is ready to release their new Tizen-based camera device in Arts Hotel in Barcelona on February 23rd, this event will be attend by invite only, and the phones will be available in Korean and Japanese carrier.

In addition the camera device, Tizen is also ready to release their new Tizen OS based smartphone at MWC 2014 but this is still a rumor, so we have to wait then.

According to Korean media iNews24 reports, Samsung’s first Tizen mobile operating system release date will be postponed to Q4 of this year or in the original release date of two months later.

Samsung is preparing two model of Tizen smartphone, both models will running Tizen OS, those are Samsung GT-I8800 and GT-I8805 reportedly finally leaked.

In September of 2011 it was announced that MeeGo, a mobile operating system is open source Linux-based mobile phone that was ever released by Nokia, retired to be transitioned into an entirely new OS, Tizen. Now, almost two years later, the platform will eventually be released to the market by Samsung.

Samsung is confirming their plan to launch a Tizen smartphone with upscale category and is expected to becoming Microsoft’s Windows Phone rivals through Tizen Phone. Samsung confirmed through its executive vice president Lee Young Hee, who said:

“Tizen Mobile will be released in August or September, through the high-end category, and will be equipped with the cool specs.”

Tizen was developed with the help of a few companies such as Samsung, Intel and Sprint (service provider). Huawei is also said to be planning to release a Tizen smartphone, but there is no schedule.

The fact that Samsung as largest smartphone vendor in the world to release this new platform could be a threat to Microsoft, which is still trying to develop Windows Phone OS.

As we’ve mention before, that Samsung will released smartphone with Tizen operating system, and now we heard the news that said about the first Tizen OS smartphone will be releas soon. This smartphone is seems to be revealed in February 2013 at the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona.

NTT DoCoMo is Japan’s largest mobile operator. Together with Samsung, Vodafone, INTEK, and others, NTT DoCoMo is committed to develop Tizen operating system based on Linux. In contrast to the semi-open Android operating system Tizen will hold the philosophy of Linux to open source code program completely for all manufacturer.
